I called to order a battery terminal fuse connector for my vehicle that is a 80-90 dollar part. The person in parts told me I had to get whole system for 1200 dollars. I told him wait I think he may be looking at wrong part. He replied, no then hung up the phone. So I called the honda dealer in new orleans and got the 80 dollar part I needed, and the parts department over there even gave it to me for 60, since I had to go hour out of my way to pick it up.Dont know if it was just a bad day since we dealing with recent hurricane. Because in past. they have been so helpful.

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I never set foot in the dealership and was able to purchase my dream vehicle. He was very polite and always trying to help.The paper work was simple and it was done quickly.Negative side:After a week with the car I found some issues:- A dent and scratches in one of the doors- Wipers in bad conditions- The letter L of the MALIBU was poorly glued and in a bad conditionI agree I should check the car completely before I take it home but I think it wasnt honest from seller side do not show me all the issues and let me find out by myself.

Nice people at first, then when your car gets hit by a 18 wheeler while parked in your drive way they still want you to pay for a vehicle that you cant drive or have any more, Insurance took vehicle and totaled it. Not only that. Gap doesnt pay everything off. Even tho it wasnt our doing or fault they still want us to pay whats left of suv that gap and insurance couldnt pay. These people have no sympathy for no one. You are and will always be just a customer not family... our credit went down bad because of them and they arent willing to help us get in another car because we lost ours... watch your self when buying from them. We had had a very rude and very unpleasant experience down the road at Greg LeBlanc Toyota dealership (former customers of this dealership) and drove over to the Honda Barker Houma dealership to see if they could help us. And yes they did! We got a great deal on a brand new Honda Odyssey van and we were treated with respect and kindness. I had a blowout on one of my tires. When rolled up with the donut tire on they took my car immediately. It was changed with a new tire within minutes. They confirmed my road hazard insurance which paid for everything. As usual, they were kind, courteous and efficient! Barker Honda was very helpful when I was purchasing my car. I am a first-time car owner/buyer and the associates at Barker Honda helped me understand how to buy a car for the first time. I live about 3 hours away from Barker Honda and I will say the drive down was worth it in my opinion. The sales rep that I talked to through email, Chance, was very helpful and provided a pretty good price for the car (he took into consideration how far I was having to travel to get the car and he was also very open to the idea of some negotiations). The sales rep was straightforward, and he did not appear to be hiding any fees that I could tell. We went over the price multiple times for the total out the door cost promising that the price negotiated would be the price whenever I arrived. When I arrived to Barker Honda I had to deal with a different sales rep, Bennie, who was very helpful and honest about all the paperwork and pricing of the car. Bennie knew a very good amount about the car including features and other parts of the car. The only small issue I had was that I tried to do the graduate assistance program which I was denied any assistance from Honda corporate. The sales manager talked to me and apologized to me for the hassle. We negotiated a slight drop in price for the car due to the hassle of being denied when I was told that I would get the assistance. That was the only issue I had while there, which is not really Barker Honda’s fault. The financial rep worked with me to determine a good price for financing the car. The financial rep was very honest about the numbers and gave his honest opinion about what was the best route for financing. Overall, I have very positive feelings toward Barker Honda and would more than likely recommend it to any friends and family.

I had a trailer hitch installed on my Pilot. I ordered it on the mid-afternoon of Thursday, September 26. To my surprise, I received a phone call the next morning that it was in. I brought my vehicle in and it was installed that morning. I was out of there before noon. The staff is always polite and helpful. The lounge is comfortable.

I bring my car in regularly for oil changes and tire rotations (for the last four years). Never once have they tried to force me to have extra services done. They change my oil and rotate my tires in 45 to 60 minutes while I wait. Every other dealer I have experience with would always tell me that I needed new filters or windshield wipers, etc. It builds a trust when you dont have to worry about other services being forced on you. My girlfriend was stranded on the side of the road with her two young children due to a dead battery that was still under warranty with the dealership. Rather than towing the car I purchased a new OEM replacement and installed it in the vehicle. First thing Monday morning the vehicle was brought in to be thoroughly checked out because it was just there on Friday and had a service performed on it, supposedly. The service department said that everything was fine with the car but refused to reimburse me for a battery that was still under factory warranty. I guess the proper protocol was to leave the car on the side of the road or pay a towing company to hold it till business hours. Sad part is we were going to trade the car in on a new one next month which we will still do just at a different Honda dealership
