I love the new space! The staff are so nice and always ready to help. Perfect mixture of feminine and masculine, went in for a jockstrap and walked out with a leather vest as well. Keep up the great work guys!

This is such a great place! Its within walking distance from the metro, and the employees are super friendly. Its an hour by bus for me, but I trust these guys over some local half-a** place. Do yourself a favor and check this place out..

Martin has a vast knowledge and understanding of the products offered at The Montrose Forge. I really appreciated how he stressed safety first in all things.His polite yet very confident way of describing everything was a breath of fresh air.

I used the curbside pick up for my order today and it was one of the best experiences I have had with a retail store. I purchased everything directly from their website and signed up for text alerts when I checked out. A few minutes after my purchase, I received a notification that my purchase was ready along with instructions on where to call when I pulled up. I was in and out with order in hand in less than 5 minutes and didnt even leave my car! This is definitely a great option for those trying to shop as safe and socially distant. I highly recommend using the curbside pickup at Montrose Forge!

I came in on 7/22 to look around and see what this business had to offer. I was immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. The guy working definitely made me feel more comfortable when I was looking at different items which made me purchase. Definitely happy I found this place!

Visited this store on a Thursday. My husband and I both love gear play. We are from Oklahoma, where men’s stores of this nature do not exist. We were excited to check the place out. The store is small, and the staff member was not engaging at all. He literally walked out of the back room, did not say a word to us, and went and stood behind the register.The selection of product is limited, but again, the store is small. If you are a fetish gear fan, this is not the store for you. I would akin this store to more of a gift shop.If you are in the Houston area and want a great shopping experience at an adult themed store, visit Eros 1207. This store is in Pasadena. Awesome shopping experience there. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you may have.Sorry, I hate to leave Montrose Forge a negative review, but I would hate for someone to fight Houston traffic to visit this store and be disappointed. The nice thing about the location of this store is that multiple gay establishments are within walking distance!

I visited Houston from Chicago. Stopped at this store as I was looking for some gear and there are very few stores like this open these days. HUGE MISTAKE.1. The store is actually only half as big as it looks from the outside. At least 50% or more of the store is blocked off once you get inside.2. Usually I dont care what the inside looks like, but this place looks bizarre. Its like a tacky modern mountain lodge????3. The gear is VERY cheap. I could see some of the thread on the seams of the garments already fraying. The quality of the fabric is also low. I looked up the brand names when I got home (as I had never heard of them), and found the same items brand new on eBay for HALF the price.4. Very little selection.5. The owner was an awful person. I know he was the owner as he was arguing with one of his staff and mentioned that he was the owner. He was very rude, and sarcastic to the employee, and he was wearing a shirt that was probably 3 times to small, his gut was literally hanging out. Very unprofessional. I felt bad for the staff member as the staff member was very polite.I left without buying anything. Was the weirdest store I have ever been in. I will never go back, and would not recommend it.Do yourself a favor and just buy the same gear on eBay for half the price, or get actual good quality gear from one of the mainstays in the bus​iness!​
