Poor customer service. I would not recommend this place at all. Install a stereo I bought from them and the installation was not done properly and when I called they told me to make an appointment so I had to leave it again. They would not take exceptions.

Had a remote wire go bad, walked in lookin for a new one, manager legit walked up and handed me 10ft of new remote wire for free that they had lying around. That was pretty bitchen.

Got a really cool radio installed in a pretty old first car for my kid. (thats really all the kids want anyway, right?) The USB connector wasnt installed correctly and they failed to reconnect the vent control for one of the dash A/C vents when they reassembled the dash. That said, once the install was complete, Brent (manager? salesman?) was careful to walk my daughter through the how it works process and was apologetic and ready to fix the issues we found immediately. We had plans and couldnt stay so he invited me to bring it back at my leisure. Which I did and the issues were rectified.Im torn because they are a little pricey but I came here so that it would be done right - which means the two misses deserve 3 stars - but the 5 star treatment by Brent made up for it....so split the difference (carry the one, divide by the square root of i didnt have to do it myself) and you get 4 star review.Overall, a good spot and Ill def do business here again - especially if Brent is the contact.

Paid 850 I had brought my own stereo, wanted some door speakers. they tell me they cant install it correctly. I did it myself and was easily able to finish the job. Clowns. Luckily they left a snapon light in my backseat. How weak

We have wanted to upgrade our Yamaha boat’s factory stereo for a while. The motors run so loud that we couldn’t hear our music while running.I took the boat in for a consultation with Brent the store manager. We spent about 45 minutes going over the plan and budget.Brent assured me, when we would be done it will be an amazing improvement.The instal team went to work when they said they would be ready and finished up exactly when they said they would. You can see the precision of the instal in the wiring job, perfectly enlarged speakerOpenings, and perfectly aligned speaker covers. Quality installation and on budget.We tested the new system and it blew us away. The JL Audio sounded so clear, but tons of power.An amazing experience from start to finish. I would take any of my vehicles there in a heartbeat.Great job exceeding my high expectations.

I scheduled an appoint to be there and even show up early for a light installation. I sat there for an hour and a half for with my car still parked in the same spot. I eventually went to get some food. A total of 3 hour has gone by since my appointment and my car was still parked in the same spot from when I arrived. I work in the car industry and this is not how paying customers should be treated. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SET AN APPOINTMENT. Highly disappointed with this store performance after speaking so highly of them to my friends and colleagues. Take your vehicle elsewhere to someone who actually wants to earn your Buisness.

Places like Target, Best Buy, Harbor Freights, and many others have really upped their customer experience beginning with greetings when you walk in. Considering how small this store was, youd expect some kind of acknowledgement that you existed or that they would be right with you. Not this place. Not even a hi and it wasnt even busy. I casually looked at some products to show an interest but still nothing. Mind you I came in for a specific installation, but I didnt get a chance to voice what I was looking for. After some time, I decided I was done. It wasnt until I was walking toward the door that he finally asked if I needed anything. Really??!! Im never coming back. Hopefully theyll read this and avoid losing more potential customers.

She made us feel extremely comfortable and trusting. As well, she made sure that we were given the best possible deal available. We were so satisfied we went back looking for Kat to put a stereo and backup camera in my work truck. This is my second experience with the Humble Car Toys, and both times have been excellent. I will come back again, and I recommend to anyone. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Will never spend another dime here. Paid a couple hundred dollars for a tint job. They took the old tint off and put the same exact darkness on the vehicle after offering me a darker tint. Then only offered an 80 dollar refund after I told them I didnt want the same light tint that was as on there. Also bought speakers for my wifes truck and when I went to have them installed they suddenly went up on their install fees to where installations was going to cost most then the high end speakers. Mind you this was all in the same day! Horrible customer service and will no longer take any of our vehicles to them!

I received new door speakers from y’all and had my right passenger speaker blow within 3 days. Spent around $2000 on all the speakers. Didn’t even have volume even halfway up. No I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Recently purchased 4 speakers, line converter, amp, and a woofer for my vehicle. There were a few issues that occurred during and from the installation. One required me to leave my vehicle overnight and the others required me to return with the vehicle. Initial sound after install was great but had to return to the store for another install issue. That was fixed but that created another issue. After that issue was fixed the quality of the sound went south. The tech tried to adjust it back but it just doesn’t sound as good. Just a little disappointed with the whole experience after paying 2 grand. On a lighter note, my sales guy was great and I appreciated the time that he took to explain the products to me. Was even kind enough to offer me a ride home when I had to leave my vehicle. I was going to rate this 2 stars but bumped it up because of my experience with the sales guy.

The system sounds AMAZING, however, install was another issue all together. What was supposed to be a 1 day install turned into 2 full days PLUS a few hours. They had to redo the custom box under the back seat (Dodge Ram 1500) because the seat wouldnt even fold all the way down. I will say, though, that the managers are ready to help deal with any issues.

My experience initially seemed satisfying when I went in for a preliminary consult and quote. The sale associate seemed aptly knowledgeable, asked questions and promptly provided a quote i could use in the next few weeks when I returned for the installation. Later, I scheduled the installation so I would be assured there was an opening when I was ready. When I arrived, I greeted by Jonathon Stanford who began asking some really great questions the other associate had not. By the time we finished, Jonathon knew more about my intended use and I knew a great deal more about what the device and installation possibilities were. The net result was a package that was completely different than originally specified and far more capable and user friendly. Thank you Jonathon for reading what was originally quoted and caring enough to ask better questions. The installation performed by Johnny was also well done, neat and creative to keep it clean and professional.

Went in to get repairs done to system previously installed. Courteous and helpful manager. Job got done as soon as possible with other vehicles already being worked on. Warranted work was done as it should have been.

They will try and up charge you. Beware!!!! Other than that the work looks good and was fairly fast.

Ive been coming here for the last 7 years when I need stereo upgrades on my cars, and have always been pleased with the results. Jonathan especially has been great to work with over the last few years. Always listens to what Im thinking of doing, and comes up with multiple ways to accomplish what Im after based on quality and budget.

I had recently changed the battery in my car and my Audio control unit reset it self as a result. The staff member took a look at it and had one of the technicians take it to the back and tune it back up for me. The technician came and got me and had me sit in the car to make sure it was tuned to my liking. He was polite and professional and Car Toys is lucky to have him on board. The service I received was second to none. I will be coming back soon for a head unit upgrade as well.

Brought my muscle car in for speaker upgrade and car alarm. Jonathon took the time to explain differences in equipment and even showed me a custom job he was working on. Very professional and polite. I had seen car toys for a long time but a bad review of another car audio place that had praise for ct got me on their site and I saw a lot of good reviews and found out that they do detailing also. so I came in and talked to joey about the issue with my system not working on occasion. joey worked on it and in the initial hour of diagnostic found and fixed the problem. I also had them wash my car while I was there and I was not disappointed. When I am ready for a new system I will defiantly be back to get them on it.

Th compustar remote start they sold me is inconsistent and unresponsive.

I just got the Apple car play Sony 7 inch installed on my Mazda CX -5, and could not be happier. The installer stayed one hour late to ensure my rear view camera worked. The salesman was very helpful in helping me find what I needed—and I appreciated the fact that he actually saved me money by recommending something that was about $50 less than what I had been looking at because the other one had a feature I’d never use. My car was ready when they said it would be, and the installer took the time to show me how to work everything on my new touchscreen. These guys were very friendly and honest and I would definitely use them again. (And we’ve used them before, too!)

George knows the stereo systems and components like the back of his hand. According to the salesman I brought 4 yeas of warranty on my back up and radio system, but I did not get any paper work other then my credit card recipe $878.51, I do not know what I payed for I do not Know what type or model # of the equipment I go,How am I going to probe that I got warranty 3 or 4 years from now, I do not Know way I did not Ask for it so is probably my fault but on the other hand I shouldnt had to ask. Can you or any one help me. I feel Dumb right now.

Great customer service. Walked me through what I wanted & what was possible for the space in my small trunk. 2007 crossfire. Best offering of display speakers to actually hear what you will be buying. They have Focal displays. Only one in 100 miles of Houston!

Had my system put in Saturday. Was back there Sunday. Remote starts would make the alarm go off. Back again Monday to fix the alarm going off again when started, alarm was set to sensitive. Had to redo the Smart Start for my cellphone. Today again issues with starting the car and alarm going off. Now my factory key isnt registering. Three times today, no key detected, no windows can not go up or down. Plus, couldnt turn car off from inside car. Both sons were with me when this happen. Should have went to the Woodlands location. If, it isnt corrected tomorrow. Then, Im going elsewhere to have them correct it. Gave this location a chance, cause they are closer to my living area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Manager is very understanding, but this is my gasoline, my time lost from doing stuff. They are doing their best to correct this, they are helpful and understanding. Just it is frustrating.
