So you get what you pay for.....So I bought 4 brand new tires in April 2021 from #discounttire. Lately my tire light been coming on for about a month and Ive been getting the tire pressure checked. So I finally go in to get the free check on my tires and my free rotation as promised in the warranty. Im well under the warranty mileage. So the Right passenger side tire was the one that kept going low. They tried to come back and say due to alignment my left passenger side tire need replacing (which is not true). I watched them tell almost every customer that due to alignment there tires are messed up and need replacing. My dad is a mechanic and I explained it to him what they were telling me and I figured they trying to play me and my dad confirmed. I told them sorry but something aint right. Whats the purpose of warranty then? The worker was studdering over his words trying to have a comeback for the questions I asked. He said theres alot of potholes in Houston. Well potholes usually cause your tire to need immediate attention. Plus if your car needs alignment, then it would pull to the left or right when driving and my car doesnt do that. Excuse to void the warranty, but I wasnt convinced anything was wrong anyway. Yeah, so I wont be going back to discount tire again. Dont promise me something, that you know youre not gonna uphold. The purpose of warranties for tires is for replacements and/or repair in times of need. Yeah#discounttirecancelled#Discounttire

Complete waisted of time. They have you sitting forever just to tell you buy a new tire. At the time I only needed it plugged and that’s my request but they declined to do so. If I can’t afford a tire right now I can’t afford it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Don’t waste your time waiting for an air check at this location. I waited behind 4 other cars for 10 minutes before someone came out to take care of us. And after I called inside and another customer went in to have someone come out. If you aren’t going to pay attention to the service you offer, don’t offer it.

Then, what it suppose to have on there. So, I turned back around to go back to get the correct size tire. Went in to replace the 2 front tires. They gad to order one additional as they only had 1 in stick. Was able to have an appointment on the same day. Tires changed within half an hour and on the road. Quick and efficient

On first arrival I was quoted a price that did not match up at checkout my only complaint is that when someone asks what something will cost to give them all the details including disposal roadside assistance warranty information especially if those are not optional when checking out... I found $21 per tire to be a bit disingenuous entire price as quoted with 79... Not cool but did appreciate the gentleman calmly explaining and allowing me to express my distaste without incident.

This place is handling covid like a boss! My check tire pressure light came on so I dropped by here imagining I was going to have to walk around outside on this hot day while I wait for them to check my tires (as was the case last time at the 1960 DT), but I pulled in and saw they had streamlined everything and all I need to do was get into the right line and they confirmed what I needed and in under three minutes he had me on my way. I never left my car, I didnt have to wait around and the attendant was sweet as could be.

Prices were not that great, and the guy said me my tires will be done in 40 minutes but it took more than an hour. And they left one bolt from each tire blank, then I told them and tbey fixed it. Just check the tires before you drive off.Clean and nice place though

I dont have any complaints about Discount Tire. Theyve been my go-to shop since moving to Summerwood. Each time Ive gone in, the salesmen have been straightforward and timely in service. On one of my cars theyd lost some of the lug nut caps, but ordered some more to replace them without any problems. My wife has taken her car elsewhere for tires against my better judgement because she thought she was getting a better deal. And while the tires may have been a little less than Discounts, the follow on service and attention after the initial sale just werent the same. Ill keep going back to Discount Tire.

Definitely Unsatisfied with the overall Service here.Every time I come a new Representative tells me different information.The representatives misrepresent themselves and also Misrepresent how things work.They’re trying to be sneaky using particular wording.Definitely some ripping off here and the fees are insane. A $127 tire with fees, installation, disposal and waste etc, came to $208.Just buy tires from a better place who does not charge all these fees.Extremely unreasonable.

Got 4 new tires here. I called ahead to make sure they had them in stock and to set an appointment for install (and because of COVID). Showed up and they handled everything VERY smoothly. I was surprised how quickly they were able to get me in and out. My only negative was that I told them multiple times that I was going to keep the old tires, still got charged for the disposal ($11), pointed it out to them and was told it would be refunded and it never was. Im sure it just slipped through the cracks because they were pretty busy, but still.

I needed two new tires late last year and this location was the only one who had them in stock. Mark was polite and helpful over the phone and got straight to replacing and rotating my tires when I arrived. Fast forward to today and I need to replace the other two. I called to confirm they were in stock, Mark checked me in over the phone, and again serviced my vehicle as soon as possible when I arrived. The guys at this location are fast and friendly and focus on service!

I went one day, talked to a sales guy, his manager and was told one price for my tires. When I went back, the guy didnt make notes on my account, the manager was not there and they would not honor what they told me. Each sales guy said something completely different about my tires. Very unhappy with the experience.

Ive bought most of my tires from DT. This was the worst experience ever.I went in to get a flat replaced. In which they of course said the tire was bad. The tire only had a nail in it that need to be repaired. I told them I didnt wan to buy another tire, I just wanted it replaced. Tech informed me they couldnt put my tire back on because of liability.Well, this is where it gets interesting. I told them to put the spare on and I will be on my way. I go to my car and I see the wheel on the ground. My trunk tools are all over the place. Not placed in the tire well like they found it. I told them to place the items like they found it. Tech told me it didnt matter because i had to eventually put the spare back in. Not the point, DUH!!!I ask why my tire isnt mounted on the wheel. They told me they couldnt do that. Liability, right!!! Well I tell them I came here with it mounted, I want to leave with it mounted.Now get this, they come out with a used tire and say they can put that one on. They actually first of all was going to keep my tire and now offer to mount a used tire on the wheel. Now this used tire was probably a tire they told another customer it was no good. Where is the liability? Sadly, disappointed. Will never go back again.

I moved to Houston in 2019 after purchasing my tires from discount a year prior which included a lifetime warranty. I went in after a few months after moving here due to operator error and was told my tire was not covered for this reason. Unfortunately, I had to revisit on Saturday for another tire that was due to wear & tear and told this was not covered under warranty and because of both reasons I questioned the warranty terms and conditions. Enrique explained the warranty details to me and confirmed that the year prior issue should have been covered by my warranty which he brought to manager Marcs attention. Marc came over and apologized on behalf of the stores error and gave me credit on the new tire. With this issuing occurring a year prior...he honestly did not have to do anything, but wanted to make sure I left as a satisfied customer and that I was so thank you Discount Tires and I look forward to continuing to be loyal to you all!

I was waiting 1 hr just to talk to someone I understand corona happening but customer service should come first. And then it took another hour to get to a simple 5 minute patch job for 1 tire.

Excellent and safe service, they have a (drive in) check in lane where they come out to your car and check you in to keep you safe from the corona virus, because of the quality of their service, they usually are busy, so expect a wait, they have quality tires at a fair price and have a good road hazard package that they honor at any Discount Tire.

I scheduled an appointment at another store but didnt realize it until I got here. 😯 Enrique was very helpful and explained it might take a little longer but they could still do what needed to be done. After checking my information he told me I needed to have my tires rotated and they would do that with no problems. Thank you Enrique for being helpful.

Very friendly workers here. I’ve been here to air up my tires twice, and both times the men here got the job done right. Although sometimes the line is extra long for airing up tires. I had to wait 30 minutes once. They were going as fast as they could, just keep that in mind if you are in a hurry.

The entire team at this store is very kind, polite and knowledgeable. They will take great care of you and your vehicle. I called and ordered specific tires for my Jeep, and they were somehow not ordered correctly the first time. They apologized for wasting my time that day, got them ordered correctly, on the spot, and had them in the next day, and even gave me a discount. They called me the minute they came in. I came down and they got them put on in a just over an hour. I had new wheels that I brought with me. I found out they couldve gotten the wheels I purchased even cheaper than I got them for, and I got them on sale! But they couldve saved me another $200, so I suggest you call them first when looking for wheels and tires. They held on to the wheels and tires they took off my Jeep until I could get there with a truck to pick them up, then loaded them up for me. They have an awesome team there and I highly recommend them for all your wheel and tire needs. Weve always used them for our tires, but will be buying wheels from them now too, when we need them. Seriously, you wont be disappointed, this is the place to go!

This was my second visit to this particular store, and they have by far the best service I have received at any tire shop I have ever been to in my life. It was a busy afternoon, with lots of customers, but they warned me before I went, but said they would happily assist me. The guys in the shop were literally running, and working as quickly as they could safely, while doing a great job. They are always friendly, courteous, and respectful. This store is managed very well, and it reflects in all of the employees as well.

Nice group of people, but wait is always too long. Almost seems like every time I come for service I have to plan to be here for hours.Wife’s car had a flat tire and of course she waited for an hour and 45 so they can tell her they didn’t have the time her needed.Came back Saturday and another 2 hour wait to get the time they didn’t have in stock installed. You would figure if you had to comeback they would pull you right in.

My back tires were leaking so I stopped in right as they were closing tonight to see if I needed new tires or if they could be patched. They easily could have told me to come back tomorrow but Josh didn’t hesitate to look at my car and assess my tires and was able to patch them up. He went above and beyond and had to stay well past closing to help me. Customer Service like that is what will keep me coming back for any tire need. I also spoke to Matt several times on the phone and then at the store and the two of them could not have been nicer, especially after what I’m sure was a long day for both. Thank you Matt and especially Josh for helping me out tonight.

A very great place to buy any new tires for your car or truck they are very fast and clean take good care of your car !they can mount and fix your tire! Very efficient workers they are all ways busy but will get you all fix up before they closed!

This was a fantabulous day there at discount tire. They have free tire pressure check and it seemed like everybody had the same issue when the temperature drops the tire pressure warning goes on. But the service was amazing. For a single woman by her paranoid self this was a blessing! Thanks Discount Tire for your kindness! Didnt have to get out my car at all, glad its close to home but great people!

The guys here are top notch. I have unique requests as I dispose of dumped tires occasionally and even got my tires from a different discount. They take care of the quick stuff for me right away and get my tires to the pressures I want immediately. They take reservations for a time and I appreciate the value of my time very much.
