So i called to schedule an oil change before heading out of town. I have a 2500 ram with a Cummins so the oil change is very important. So I have the oil change deal that the dealer sells. They get me in and out and even wash it for me. Awesome. But where I have an issue is that had some paper work stashed under my arm rest and out of sight mind you, can you tell me why it was found on the floor of the rear of my truck. Then the service itself. I get 2 miles down the road and my check engine light comes on. Pop the hood this is what I see. I’m not saying this is causing it but this is not the level of service that I have come to expect from here. Nor did they offer to sell me wipers or fuel filter service or injection service that I had to do my self. I prob would have done one of those three to help a brother mechanic but at least give me the option to.I’ve had two vehicles from you a and this will be my last. From promises not kept like floor mats or my second set of key fobs on a brand new 2020 at the time. Almost going on one year and still waiting on floor mats and my key fob. It’s a shame. My wife has an appointment to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee L at a much further away dealer this coming up week. I guess they will also be servicing my truck as well
They dont explain warranties, misdiagnoses my vehicle. I told them what was wrong. They didnt find anything, three months later had to bring it in for major problem, now they found what I was saying. Ill take it back to the dealer with great service. DEMONTRON Chrysler Dodge ....
My brand new Dodge Durango started to give green screen error (Google it). August 30 morning, I started the car and the radio screen was green. I drove it to the service and after 3 days, they told me it is a radio error and they would order a new one for me. I was told it would take up to 2 weeks. After the end of 3rd week(couple days ago) I finally had to go to the service myself because no one returned my calls, voice-mail or called me for an update. The service manager looked at the case and told me the part has not even been built yet (chip shortage etc.). I had already asked a loaner and they said there are no cars available. For the past 3 weeks, I ve been renting a car, driving my wifes car, taking an Uber here and there etc. Our daily lives are impacted a lot. I postponed our planned family vacation and cant do it anymore. So we are renting an SUV for like $2000 to go our late vacation. My wife had to give her two week notice because only one of us can work right now.I contacted Dodge and they say they can only pay 10 days of rental $35 per day. And currently rental cars are twice that much. I am paying the loan when I dont have a vehicle due to a manufacturing issue. I have Sirius that I am not using right now but paying for it. The car is depreciating and I am losing money and timeHow am I supposed to go to work and my daily life? Its all messed up. The whole reason i bought this vehicle was to avoid paying $6k of repairs for my old durango. I am frustrated. Never buying another Dodge and cut off my relationship with this location as soon as I get my vehicle back.By the way with this error, you cant control AC, apps, backup camera, phone, maps, radio etc.Realistically I am looking at least another month or so. I personally dont even want to be that optimistic given how things are going so far. I will feel lucky to get it back by ChristmasTerrible experience overall. No communication, no help, no empathy.
DO NOT COME HERE! I had a part ordered over a month ago. I never received a notification or a follow up phone call notifying me that the part was in. I had to call to check the progress to find out they had it. Then they told me that I could not schedule an appointment. I then asked for a loaner and they told me that they could not provide me one. I need to travel for work so I asked if I could pick the part up and take it to another dealership, they told me that is not an option either. Absolutely zero help regarding my issue. Do yourself a favor and go to another dealership if you need work done.
Would absolutely not recommend this place. It took them 5 days to diagnose the issues with my car in the first place, and that whole time there was no communication - I had to call and follow up every time. Then, when they finally diagnosed my car would not give me a rental car because my license was out of state . I had just moved and they weren’t willing to work with me in any way, despite it being a valid drivers license. Absolutely horrible experience.
I had a great experience at Texan dodge, my service advisor was Luis and he did a awesome job. He made sure my windows didnt get rolled down because of a recent tint job, also he did a recall on my vehicle which I didnt know of but glad he took care of it. Thank you soo much Luis I really appreciate it.
I have always had great experiences with this Service Department. They are professional and effective. They have worked well with me, my budget and are great communicators. They also have a shuttle available, the driver is very friendly and is an extension of their great customer service.
This place moves in slow motion and doesn’t communicate well.
Service has gone downhill even pre-pandemic. I got notice of a recall on my vehicle and yesterday was my 2nd time going down there for because of parts issues. I confirmed with them that they had the part this 2nd time I made reservation and they said yes. I get there and tell ne I need to reschedule because they dont have the part. So now Ill need to go back a 3rd time. Mind you I dont live in town and luckily have my family to stay with. Someone in management needs to grab the bull by the horns now.
I went in to get the oil changed. I had bought the package for 3 oil changes, tire rotation and car wash. The last time they said it was too late to do the car wash and thought they didnt do the tire rotation. This time I know they didnt do the tire rotation because my tires were marked and I guess just spayed the truck with a hose. When I went back in and talked to the service representative he kept saying they rotated the front and kept arguing about it. And that they dont do the rear because its duals. But my markings on the front are still on the same side as when I brought it in. He still said they did after showing him my markings. So it makes me wonder if they even change the oil. Then the service manager kicked a guy out for not having a mask on even though the whole service crew inside the building had mask around there chins not wearing them. And when said something about it to him he just laughed.1
Inquiry regarding crankshaft position sensor used in numerous engines that are used in many vehicle models resulted in my being advised that it would have to be sent from Mesquite, TX. That alone made me take pause since it was used in so many vehicles on the road today. Being from a Dealer source, I expected it to cost more, but I was also informed that it would take over 3 weeks and that it would involve shipping fees being added too.At that point I thanked them for the information and left. My next stop was at an aftermarket Auto Parts Store that had the part in stock at half the cost, including a lifetime warranty on the part. The performance of my vehicle was rectified that same day once I replaced the sensor with the one I acquired from the aftermarket source. Instead of having to wait over 3 weeks just to have the part in hand, and risk further damage by driving my vehicle until the part was available through this Dealership.Cost alone was NOT my deciding factor. There were cheaper options, but they came with no warranty, so I opted for that option because of possible future considerations.Overall I believe the best value in my case was the aftermarket source and NOT through this Dealership. While the atmosphere of the place was good, and the staff seeming knowledgeable, I found the VALUE of service quite low in my case.I always look to value more than cost when making choices. Use this information from my experience as You will; as for me; I wont go back, barring EXTREME circumstances.
Got in & out in a couple hours for an oil change. I didnt buy my Jeep at this location, but after the great customer service from Service here and the terrible customer service from Service in Humble, Ill keep driving across town for maintenance.
Took our 2019 Ram in for an oil change.. the service rep was told exactly what kind we wanted and WITHOUT our consent they put full synthetic in and charged us for it.. then was also asked to change the flat that we got while going there and to put the spare on.. after the techs started and was then told by “management “ not to do it, the tech over tightened the lugnuts and it caused the lugnuts to snap.. now costing us a new rim, and a lot of excess work.. totally approximately $1000.00. So instead of getting an approval on the oil change that should have cost $110 we paid $171.00 plus an additional $1000... in today’s times, we simply can’t afford it.. Thanks for SCREWING a customer over!!!!WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO YOU!!! First and LAST time!!!!
Got an oil change last Thursday. Friday my garage is filled with oil. When I took it back to the dealership they said I was at fault and charged me an additional 200 dollars. Never going back
I called for a shuttle ride to pick up my truck from Texan dodge service dept. as I was instructed. I waited for 2 hours and placed several calls to a voicemail. I received no response or ride. I then called the service department and was told the shuttle driver was out today and he has the phone. She asked my name, address and telephone number and she would send a ride. (3 hours waisted). When I arrived at the service department I was informed the service rider was at lunch and only he knows where my keys are (professional?). After being informed that he wasnt calling back; they decided to try another phone to see if would respond to an unknown number (again professional?). I was told the service manager was contacted and he was coming to help(didnt see or meet him until they finally stumbled across my key an hour later). I was also told that sometimes the service writers put vehicles in under different names and dont tell anyone (why would you do that?). When the 2 guys finally gave me my keys, I had to ask who I was now speaking to and he was the service manager( he didnt introduce himself all he said was there several people in system with my first name. This whole event took 4 hours of my day and they are 15 minutes from my home. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Aaron has been very helpful on getting my dodge taken care of.
Perfect place to buy
Very comfy waiting room chairs. Courtesy Ubee anywhere up to 12 miles away, to and from no hassle at all.
Took Jeep Wrangler to have the seals replaced, kept it for about a week or 2 and still not fixed. Rain pours in more than before we took it.
Can never get an appointment set up at a decent time even though I have already prepaid for my services.
Good customer service.
Better service than before
Terrible
Very friendly and relatively quick.
