I will never return to this location for any services from them whatsoever. I went in for a state inspection, failed and returned for a re-test. I knew I was ready to pass based on my own code scanner that can run the emissions test and show the status of the emissions sensors. Robert had to argue with me saying that, if I haven’t driven at least 100 miles I wouldn’t pass. He said “ you are speaking to a state certified automotive technician, boss” and that I would have to pay the fee again if it failed the test again. I know that they can do a pre-test if we know that it may fail again. Robert totally disrespected me and my knowledge of my vehicle and didn’t offer a single solution other than a challenge to my intelligence and a threat to have to pay more money if I didn’t take his lousy advise.

Bought a complete set of tires for my sons truck and asked that the best tire be used for the spare. They told my son that they put the spare in the back. They literally put a tire in the bed of his truck (under tonneau cover) and not on the wheel.

I could be in and out within an hour for both an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly and were able to make me aware of current promotions and sales. Gentlemen named Ed helped me to understand other problems with my car and what he recommended I should get done.I will be returning to this facility in the future for other vehicle maintenance !!

Picked up a nail and was losing tire pressure fast. I called NTB, and Ed was able to get me in immediately to get my tire taken care of before everything was closed for Easter the next day. They had the tire off my Suburban quickly for the repair, and I was back on the road in under 30 minutes. This is my second visit to this location, and have been met with a positive friendly atmosphere both times. Overall great experience, I will be bringing my other vehicle in when it is time for new tires.

I went there to get a battery. I was told it was going to be $149 for the battery and 60 for labor.o.k.fine a little high but fair.i agreed. Thay did the job .a different person said it was ready and when I go to pay it is $252. Thay charge me to check the alternate and starter that is wrong.i agreed on around 200 dollars. I wonder if it is just old people that thay do like that

This manager Edorado (Ed) Mallard Sr. at this location awesome!. Got me in and out in hour. After having two bad experiences at the Porter Tx location!. They told me my rim was bent in Porter. Drove my vehicle twice without asking. Told me I need shocks and or struts. Which all is lie! Got checked out today in Atascosita and my rims not bent, and my van is fine!. They balanced all my tires and checked them, topped off my wiper fluid and even checked my battery! This is now my go to location!! Bringing my Ford Explorer to them next week for oil change! Clean inside and nice workers. Also manager was very knowledgeable and kind and very respectful of my concerns and my vehicle! Definitely recommend Atascosita NTB! Go see or call Ed. Got a nail in one of my tires right before a trip. I went to this NTB and the service was excellent. Mr. Mallard and his team were respectful, knowledgeable, and got my truck back on the road in no time. Mr. Mallard talks to his employees and customers all the same, with the upmost respect. He is also knowledgeable in the service he provides, I told him I was having trouble finding a filter for my 2021 GMC AT4HD and he looked it up for me while they fixed my tire. Will definitely bring my business here for now on.

We were on the road traveling. We pulled in for help with a tire and Sergio helped us. Not only was he courteous and professional but he took his time and explained to us what could be done to correct our problem. Sergio made our day with his excellent customer service! 😊

Weve gone here for years, used to love dealing with Thomas. New mgmt is crooked as the day is long. Dropped my wifes vehicle for an oil change, asked for the full synthetic we normally do (last 5 services, $69.99), come back to $170 bill because for some reason they decided to do the $149 platinum oil service which I didnt ask for. Fast forward to today, brought wifes car there because battery was under warranty...Charged a prorated $95 for a new battery (same interstate battery is $89 at Costco) and $70 to put it in. insane. While Im checking out, the fella who calls himself Mr. Ed jokes to the associates and says lets see how much I can get out of this one as he calls another customer with an estimate. Avoid this place like the plague.

I got tires put on my daughters car today. Was unhappy about undisclosed fees from an over the phone quote. New to NTB and not aware of labor fee, road hazard, shop fee, etc. The only reason I’m giving a 5 star rating is because an awesome employee named Melissa! She personifies excellent customer service and made my problem her own. She is such an asset to this business! Awesome customer focused service, very professional, and so friendly! I come in regularly to have repairs done on both of my vehicles. Every time I come in Im always treated with a friendly smile and the team members and mangament are always wanting to help. Ive spend a couple thousand dollars for some major repairs and maintenance on both my truck and car. Even though this seems like a lot of money, but I know that I would be spending a whole lot more at any other place. Plus they are always willing to help were they can. They are hard working employees and have great customer service on top of being very knowledgeable with the vehicles they handle. Ive never had a problem and would highly recommend the location to anyone need vehicle repairs and maintenance. A few names I would like to give a shout-out to are Terrance, Agustin, Randy, and Luis. these are the mechanics and management I deal with everytime I need help!

Came into NTB early this morning to get a flat tire replaced. Was greeted by a very friendly staff named Melissa. She was extremely kind and welcoming, which helped me to completely change my mood. Can you imagine the anxiety of driving 5mph and passing two closed tire shops! I was exhausted by the time I got here. However, the experience once I made it to NTB was good. Not only was Melissa extremely helpful in finding me the best tire deals. I was also able to sit in there lobby and sign my son onto his classes while we waited for our tire to be changed. Highly recommend this location!

I cant say enough about the front staff. Very friendly. My tech Luis was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going on with my car. The manager Terence checked on me multiple times and my check in check out process was very professional with Chase. I would highly recommend these guys!! Clean store!

I wish I could give less stars. This place is terrible. I have a fleet vehicle and they up-charged me on everything because my company was paying for it. Had a bad starter but they diagnosed me with needing a new battery. My battery wasnt bad. They charged me over $300 to misdiagnose me and replace an already good battery. Sold me the highest tires in the store (Continental) and when I got a nail in my tire a month later, they charged me to patch it. Even though those tires should have had a warranty but they, Do not offer warranties to Fleet Vehicles. Do not bring your company vehicle here.

There have been some very apparent and appreciated staff changes around here. Ive been begrudgingly coming here for years, solely out of convenience and the fact that I have an NTB card. New management has cleaned up the place. The old doom and gloom staffers are gone! Thank you, Terence!

I used to get my batteries and sometimes tires. The last time I got a battery replaced I was surprised to be charged $300+ which I feel it is 3 times I normally pay. They said it was due to labor. I will go somewhere else next time

I came here for new tires and alignment and got a really good deal and saved a lot of money I really appreciate the guy who helped me out I believe his name was Shaw segura I really enjoyed my experience!

Went in to get a flat tire repaired because Discount was closed. Even thought my tires had a full warranty I went to NTB so I wouldn’t have to miss work. They told me my tire was non repairable. I said then just put it back in the truck and I’ll go to Discount in the morning. Go to Discount the next day and they were 100% able to fix it. Looks like NTB was either just trying to sell me a tire or were too lazy to fix it. Either way, never again will I go to them for anything.

Melissa has been so great to work with at the Atascocita NTB. So helpful especially when I was having a very tough day. . I recommend this place to anyone. FYI. Melissa deserves a raise!

This has been my go to NTB store here in Humble/Atascocita area for years. They have always had a great team in place to help me out and have never let me down. As long as the great service remains the same I will continue to come here. Ive been using NTB for over 20 years. Cant think of one complaint. If this is your local store, youre in good hands.

I wish I could give less stars!!I called today asking for a quote on my brakes as they began squeaking yesterday. Was advised they needed to see them to get a quote but that brake checks were free — sounds great! I asked if I needed to make an appointment for this was told yes and that it’d take no time at all for just a check — even better because I’d have to do this on my lunch break.Was told by the woman scheduling me they had a 12:00 apt — I said and how long does it take as I am going to do this on lunch. Again told no time at all like 20 minutes just to check them and get me a quote then can schedule another time when not working for the job itself.I got there right on time walked in minute before 12. They took my car back within 5 minutes. 12:04 per paperwork.At 12:50 — I finally walked up to the guy at the counter (hesitantly not wanting to bother them but also needing to get back to work as it had been 50minutes - way longer than estimated 20 for a simple check) and asked an ETA on my quote because I was on lunch needing to get back.He goes and checks come back in gives me my quote — over $1k — people have told me this is ridiculous for a Mustang but whatever I don’t care about the quote price yet not have double checked anywhere else.After reviewing my quote between 12:50-1 he said they are putting my tires back on to pull it around.At 1:30 I ask again how much longer to put my tires on (because quite frankly I could put tires on in less than 30 minutes) and at this time am beyond frustrated because what was supposed to be maybe 30minutes has now been 2 hours after me saying I was doing this on my lunch break and confirming before scheduling this was doable on lunch break! 😤

Just like some other people that have left reviews here, I wish I could also leave 0 stars. I came in for a flat and come to find out I needed to replace all 4 tires (which is completely understandable). But the lady at the front desk that helped us out seemed to not be interested in helping me out. She lacked customer service skills and was very flat and rude. My MAIN complaint happened when I left. I decided to set up an appointment for this upcoming Monday to replace my tires but right after turning onto 1960 I heard a rattling noise so I turned into the strip center where Savvas is at. Come to find out, they did not tighten one of my wheels. Thank god my father and I did not get injured and the tire did not fall off prior to pulling over but that is absolutely ridiculous. I called back to inform them what happened and I also canceled my upcoming appointment for Monday. I’ll take my business elsewhere, where that lady and service tech is not at.

I have been to this location several times. I appreciate the knowledge that was given on what was done to my vehicle and what was needed. I got an oil change, brakes and filters replaced. Mr. Stroughter took the time to show and inform me on why this work is necessary and how it benefits my vehicle. I will be back.

I have been bringing my cars here for five years and have always received good service and fair prices. Today I brought my Corolla in for a pulsation in the brake pedal. They could have sold me on a complete brake job and I would have never known better, but as it turned out all I needed was to have the rear rotors machined and turned. I was out the door with a very reasonable invoice and was treated with courtesy and respect.

First time using the company, actually use to going to a dealership. The customer service is beyond excellent and the associate Shae S was great with helping me get my oil change I highly recommend him and the store any time I need anything NTB would be my go to.

NTB has had a bad reputation for as long as I can remember, but this location has been excellent. The customer service that I received from the staff, particularly Ed, was nothing short of exceptional.

Shaw Segura was my sales associate. He showed an explained to me why the tire with a screw in it could not be fixed and also the other three tires needed to be replaced. He gave me different tire options and explained warranty, alignment options. He was professional and a joy to deal with.

They informed me that I needed new tires, and gave me multiple quotes on tires to help me with that decision. With me, a business is either great or it is not. I rate either 5 or 1...everyone starts as a 5. At NTB, the front desk is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Service is completed on time. Prices are reasonable. I had 4 new tires installed and balanced...all good. But...my final memory...all 2 tires had psi varying by 4-6 lbs. And..me cleaning all the grease and gunk off all 4 tire rims and wondering what tire tool left nicks inside my rims. Bummer.

Thanks to today I will never be returning to NTB.I went in for an alignment on my truck today and it was simple. A 2019 F150 with a leveling kit installed, nothing crazy. They said I needed a caster/camber kit to do an alignment on my truck... ok so go ahead. $70 worth of parts turned into $234 after there mark up, my “specialty alignment” was $124 with NO warranty and the labor turned out to be $104 (oh and let’s not forget the $35 shop fees). This is absolutely ridiculous, hopefully the alignment holds up cause if not I’ll be going ANYWHERE else besides here to get it done.

No respect for peoples time. Left my car on a Friday afternoon for tire replacement. Person at front desk promised to call back with a quote. He never did. On Saturday I stopped by to check on the vehicle and no one had a clue. The person that took the order was off on Saturday. Finally a rude person with no manners said it would take 1-1/2 to 2 hours. I called several times with no success, I was put on hold for 16 minutes.When I went to pick up the vehicle, the person at the front desk was rude, did not explain to me what was done to the car and neither explained to me all charges that amounted to almost $1,000.Personnel should be trained to be more professional, respect customers and be more polite.Never again I will ever visit any NTB location. FYI I have options, the success of your business depends on people like me.

Made me feel comfortable with this experience & recommended the best tires for my boyfriend. Unfortunately, when we came back to pick up the truck the lady that works there had an attitude with my mother in law when she simply asked a yes or no question.

Never ever again. Stopped to get a low tire patched and was told it could not be done, not enough tread on tire that was 3 years old.Left and went to discount tire, they were happy to help me. I asked why the tread on my three years old tires was so low only to find out those tires were not recommended for an SUV. I was a NTB customer for years. The key word is WAS.

National tire and battery what can I say national tire and battery does not cover it all they change anything theyll do any work for you theyll do anything they can to help you out they will make sure that you do not leave there without getting everything you wanted they will help you accomplish anything you wanted to get done with your car you could do your rims there you could get it waxed there they can change your oil they can swap engines it can do your brakes they can check your electrical problems they can make sure your windows roll down they can check your paint for you they can tell you if you need to catch your car on fire they can tell you if your car is on fire theyll put your car on fire if you want it on fire though turn it upside down and light it upside down and shake it back and forth right there but they are damn good at what they do I always go to national time battery tell you what boy

Called them up right now to ask how much to pull tires off, mount and balance new tires. The gentleman answering asks what color they are, I thought this was a weird question but I answered Black, he then said he wasnt going to do the work. I asked why and he stated because they didnt want to damage the wheel. I told him it was spray wheel paint and it was my Sons work truck. We just needed to get the new tires put on and I would just repaint them if there was any damage. He still said they wouldnt do it. Not sure what type of tire shop cant mount tires without damaging wheels but Ill take my money elsewhere.

Went for a free break check. After Manager Edoardo L Mallard, then charges me for a complete vehicle inspection. He said free break checks ended last year. Then I show him where it says it’s free and then he replies well you should of booked it online...

We were looking forward to purchasing all four tires today. Walked into discount tire first and they had awful customer service. Which made us hunt a new tire place. I was lucky enough to pull up in this NTB location where we were instantly greeted and helped. The process was fast and easy. Truly enjoyed our experience at this store. I made an appointment for swapping sensors from my existing wheels onto my used wheels I received from a friend.I was told over the phone when making the appointment that this would be no problem. When I got to this NTB at my appointment time the lady behind the desk rejected my service saying she couldnt do that.Extremely disappointed as this was a waste of not just my time, but my entire familys time on fathers day.NTB - get your stuff straightened out.Everyone else - dont bother with these folks and take your business elsewhere. Theres a discount tire right nearby that will HELP you and get you squared away.

In the covid-19 environment these folks were on top of it for safety and cleanliness! And they were available and not packed!
