I recently found a great deal at Texan Dodge in Humble. One of the sales people Elizabeth reached out to me because I had inquired on the truck. She was very friendly and when I came to see it, she had it already cleaned and ready for me to look at and test drive. She was very friendly and informative on the options package of the truck as we test drove it, and even showed me a new feature the 2019 ram had on the infotainment center that my 2014 trade in didn’t have (backup camera on demand display). I didn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable at all during the process. I asked Elizabeth about Katskinz leather options, because my trade in has the option and I was interested. She brought me a sample of all the options and colors... the customization is almost endless. The option was worth the price for sure. I bought a nice low mileage lone star and have interior comparable to a Laramie now for much less cost. They were fair on the trade in price, not great but fair. Finance was very friendly and they have the most up to date technology (the crazy cool computer tablet desk.) to get you in and out quickly. Avoid this place at all costs.Even when they come to your car to get it for service, they just say, I need you to get out. Wow.OkWho are you?They never find anything wrong with my car even after days with them and it continues to give warning beeps for battery saver mode nearly every day. Never do recall repair unless I specifically ask for it. And they are always long to call back with estimates. They seem to always tack on a list of fees on recall and warranty work. Come in for the recall, its no charge... Yeah. Never @ this location. Ever.

Went in and got my hellcat serviced it was making a noise from somewhere rob was the guy over my inspection man I tell you these people didn’t do anything they claim to do 9 point inspection the mechanic said my hub bearings were bad well that wasn’t the issue he didn’t fix anything or the problem I called rob and left voicemail after voicemail no answer this place is a joke and they are trash $600 bill for nothing same issue now I have to go elsewhere and pay to get my car fixed don’t go to these people the mechanics can’t be professionals how could he overlook my driveshaft center bearings were bad but he claim to have did a inspection waste of money

I’ve been to a lot of dealerships but I have never experienced that type of service. It was just straight up outstanding. Sam was his name I believe but that dude is a rockstar!

Service department is terrible. Their online scheduling system is a joke. I scheduled an appointment and didn’t have a preference for a service advisor, and the one I was assigned apparently doesn’t even work here. When I show up on time for my appointment I’m just awkwardly standing around because I don’t even know who to speak to to check in (especially since my appointment is with a service advisor that doesn’t work here). The whole point of me making an appointment was to make it quicker since I’m going to be waiting in the lobby, but it seems like there’s no priority for people who make appointments so don’t bother. I’ve been waiting for an hour and a half so far for an oil change and tire rotation. I wish the service department was more organized and caring. At least the long wait have me plenty of time to write this review. Will have to try another dealer next time.

Very slow process. Vehicle was posted on website before it was ready for sell. Waited 1 1/2 weeks to take possession. Consequently I lost the $500 Visa card that had been offered for a purchase the weekend I started the process… this was because of Texan Dodge dragging their feet to ready the vehicle. Apparently technician did not check the tire pressure light to find there are no tire pressure sensors in the front 2 tires, so now I have to pay to get that rectified…. Not sure I would do business here again. And by the way, when I asked about “we treat you better” the majority of the people there I said it to had never heard that saying… even though it’s written on the license plate frame…

I would like to know when my vehicle will be repaired. It has been in and out of this dealership for over 2 months after recall work was completed on a perfectly running vehicle and now I don’t have a perfectly running vehicle and don’t even have a vehicle to operate due to this issue. 8-14-21

I am looking to purchase a RAM 1500 and tried this dealership. I spoke with Lorena about transferring a truck from another dealership which did not work out. I was told I could just order the truck how I wanted it but I would need to put a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. I told her I did not feel comfortable doing that not knowing what the price would be until the truck arrived 2 or 3 months later. She asked me to spoke with her manager Will about it so I did. Will stated I could go in, order the truck, get a price, and also get a price for my trade in. Lorena setup an appointment for me to meet with Moses so I went to the dealership and met with him. We waited 20 minutes before he come by, he sat us at his desk, then left to help other customers. After leaving about 4 times, while we were talking, he said he was finally ready to help us. We build the truck I wanted then he said I would need to put a non-refundable $1,000 deposit and that he couldnt give me a price until the truck arrived. I told him about my concern with that so he said it would be refunded if I didnt get the truck but they would not put it in writing. I told him about my conversation with the manager Will but he said he couldnt honor what he said. Then he started to question why I wasnt willing to give them a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to order a truck. He then said he would speak with Will in the morning and would give me a call afterwards. That was 2 days ago!! So much for him repeatedly saying he was a man of his word. I contacted Lorena to see what was going on but still havent received a response. Dont waste your time with this dealership!!Oh! And they have an addendum of $2,990 that you can not have removed which consist of lifetime tint, nitrogen in the tires, theft protection, and paint protection.Update: Its been a week since the dealership responded to my review saying they were going to look into the issue. I have yet to hear from Lorena, Moses, Will or Greg!! Save your time and go elsewhere. I drove to San Antonio and bought my truck.

To Whom It May Concern,I contacted your dealership through CarGurus. I was interested in stock number M8182962. It showed an MSRP of $60,575, and the dealerships price shows $56,955. The window sticker shows a total price of $61,270. Carrington Phillips sent me an email, along with his number, and asked me to call or text him. When I texted him back about the 2021 Grand Cherokee L Overland and asked for pictures, he informed me that the unit was in transit. He also said that the unit wont sit long and the best way to secure a deal was to send a deposit. I then asked what the Out the Door price will be, and gave him my information for him to have the taxes figured in.Carrington sent me a text with a price of $68,015.52. It was confusing to me that no where on this sheet did it start with the asking price of $56,955 and then have the taxes added to it. It showed the asking price of $60,575.00 and then added the following:Doc Fee: $150.00State & Local Taxes: $4,097.52Total License & Fees: $203.00Total Financed Aftermarkets: $2,990.00Amount Financed: $68,015.52I asked Carrington what the “Total Financed Aftermarkets” were. He responded that it is for GPS tracking device, Lifetime warranty on window tint, Nitrogen filled tires, and Wheel locks. I said that since the vehicle is in transit and isn’t listed on the window sticker that I must assume that this charge is something that the dealership adds on. He said that was correct, and ALL dealerships are doing it and the price varies. Some dealerships charge up to $5,000.00 for the same thing. As he was giving me his justification, I was trying to interrupt him to say that I don’t want this charge, and he told me that it is a charge that the dealership does on all the vehicles. I said that not all dealers charge this because I have gone into dealerships and obtained a printout of the breakdown of the charges, and none have added this type of charge. I also explained that if he was going to force me to have these charges that we didn’t need to talk any further. He said that it couldn’t be removed so I told him to have a good rest of the week, and he said for me to do the same and he immediately hung up the phone on me.Really hated that your dealership lost a sell and probably will not recommend you dealership to others. I’m not writing this because I’m mad, just disappointed in how the whole process played out. Sure not happy with the salesman. Guess it’s a “take it or leave it” attitude anymore.

Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. I was fortunate enough to have Memo as my salesman. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He has gone above and beyond to meet my needs and wants while buying my vehicle. The vehicle that I purchased from Texan Dodge was a 2011 Ram 1500. The truck itself was very nice. The advertised sale price was $7,250. I was prepared to pay cash for this truck. When the salesman brought me the sales ticket, I was prepared for the sales tax, but what surprised me was the$2,990 dollars that the dealership had placed on the truck as a Dealers Prep fee! This is a scam that some dealerships use to get free money. It is not illegal, it is the purchasers choice if they pay it or not. I chose not to! I was trading in a vehicle that they gave me $1,200 for. I ended up paying $8,200, plus my $1,200 trade in. I was more than fair with what I was willing to pay, although I had to fight for that price. I would advise anyone dealing with Texan Dodge, in Humble, to not just accept what the salesman puts in front of you. These dealerships make a great deal of money just selling the cars, the extras, and fees that they tack on are just short of larceny!I was disappointed in Texan Dodge and would not recommend them to anyone!

Update: 3 hours waiting in the service department for an oil change and tire rotation and this is how they bring out my car. They removed my cabin air filter and left it on my passanger seat. My seat was wet and dust from the filter is now on the seat and now my check engine light is on and my engine is making a knocking noise.UPDATE: I spoke with the service manager Troy and he was awesome. He was very apologetic about the cabin air filter and asked me to come back in to make things right. He did a diagnostic check on my vehicle and realized that a vacuum hose broken. Possibly during the oil change they did and thats why my engineer light was on. He replaced my hose at no cost just in case it was their fault. While the car was running he showed me where the knocking noise was coming from and it was the vacuum hose. This is exceptional customer service. I will return and encourage others as well.

I purchased my 2019 Jeep Wrangler from Texan Dodge Jeep June 2020 and added the Scheduled Maintenance Care Plus years/50,000 miles also. I resided in another town and had the maintenance done at the local Jeep Dealer with no issues. I moved and took the Jeep in for routine maintenance, July 15, 2021, and when the Service Department checked my contract had been cancelled was never put in my name. I called Texan Jeep immediately to get assistance and was told that only the Finance Manager can correct the issue and could only leave a voice mail with him. I called back two more times and only got voice mail, then I asked for a manager and they did not let me speak to him but a salesman and was told they would me back in a few minutes. July 16th, still no response called again and only allowed to leave a voice mail. July 17th, called to speak with a manager and only got voice mail. Currently trying to resolve the contract issue with Chrysler Jeep national customer service call in. Post purchase service from Texan Jeep is absolutely sub standard, do not buy any additional warranties or contracts with them as you cannot get any help from management. Will never buy from them again!

Scheduling:Had trouble with their appointment scheduling system from the get go. I called on two separate occasions to reschedule and both times they couldnt find my appointment (they searched phone number, email, etc.). I had gotten confirmation texts and emails, so I knew they had it in their system somewhere. They figured it out eventually, but the confusion and delay created a bad, unpleasant and inconvenient experience. Whats funny is that I wasnt going to write a review, but I got an email after my appointment that said Sorry you werent able to make your appointment. Do you want to reschedule? - but I DID make my appointment. I was there, my vehicle was there, I paid for the service, etc. Isnt that funny? Just another example of how sloppy their scheduling system is.Wait time:I scheduled a 7am appointment (as soon as they open) so I didnt have to worry about getting stuck behind any walk-ins. I was getting an oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. I got there right at 7am and left at 8:55. In my opinion, thats too long of a wait for those services if there is nobody else in front of you.The worst part:I gave this place a try because I received a coupon in the mail: 3 oil changes w/ 3 tire rotations for $100 (thats $33 per visit). However, they told me that it was a misprint, and that they couldnt/wouldnt honor it. Instead, they would only offer 3 oil changes and 1 tire rotation for $100 (meaning two less tire rotations than what the coupon said). I was very surprised by this decision. I hadnt asked for anything more than what the coupon offered. Felt like a bait and switch. Not very good customer service, in my opinion. If I was the manager and had encountered that situation, I would have honored the coupon, because the misprint (if it was, actually, a misprint) was the companys fault and not the customers. Tire rotations just cost labor anyway, right?In summary:I tried to do everything I could to make my own experience a good one. I booked an appointment, I arrived on time, I waited patiently, and I presented an unexpired/valid coupon (or so I thought). But, Texan Dodge missed the mark every step of the way.I will not be going back for my remaining two oil changes even though they are already paid for. If that doesnt steer you away from this place, I dont know what else will. Please go elsewhere for your service needs.

We were lied too and mislead by the finance manager Alton Williams. We already had our credit run gave the dealership our pre-approval through CUAQ to buy a truck and they did not need any more information nor our social security numbers. But the finance manager Alton Willams lied to us and told use he had to have our ss# to finish the contract for the title registration but instead pulled our credit again and wrote a new form to issue to CUAQ. We specifically told everyone that we delt with not the run our credit. While dealing with Alton he specifically made sure that we knew he was best friends with the G.M. . So we dont foresee management doing anything about this matter unless Texan Dodge wants to do the right thing and remove the credit inquiry also make up for the fraud committed. We tried to reach the G.M. but never could be reached but we spoke with the Sales Manager and he specifically told us that we did not know what we were talking about.

My husband and I happened to see this dealership on autotrader.com. Everyone was very nice and helpful. No games. They gave us a good deal on our trade-in and our salesman was on top of things as well as made the whole process go smoothly. There were several vehicles to choose from and in varying colors. We live 3 hours from this particular dealership and are willing to take the drive if we decide we want to buy another car in the future. If you need to purchase a vehicle, I recommend this dealership. They are worth the drive.

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing my vehicle from this place. During the whole discussion for the purchase of my pre owned certificate vehicle the salesman said the most positive things on how their service will be after I make this purchase. Even discuss an extra fob for my vehicle which at the time the salesman said that would not be a problem. Why is it 2 months after my purchase I have no extra fob. Also when I call asking the salesman gives me a run around now saying it was not discussed... smfh. Been told he will return my calls yet I never hear from the guy, but when I call and actually reach the guy he has attitude that I am calling. Hey if anyone is thinking of buying from this place I would reconsider cause they will bend over backwards to get the sale, but once you make the purchase they will forget about you.
