Oh man, I’ve been here twice now just trying to get an oil change and it was a hassle each time.The first time there were so signs or anything to show where to go, so as at every other Walmart auto place I’ve been to, I pulled up to a garage and waited for a worker.After 10 mins of waiting patiently, I realized none of the workers in there were going to come out and talk to me. So I got out and asked if I could get an oil change. I was told by a very nice girl I had to pull around and wait in front of the door down the garage to be helped.That’s fine cause she was so nice, but I got to the car line, waited AGAIN for 10 mins waiting for the workers who were scrambling around the other cars to get to mine. They never did.So I went inside, waited in a long line again, seeing workers 4 workers behind the desk, but only one actually talking to the long line of customers.When I finally got up to the front and asked for an oil change, I was told it would take them at least a few hours before they could even get to it. I figured I’ve already done enough waiting, so I left.Two days later I went back, waited in a long line, and once I got to the front I was told that their technicians were leaving for the day and they were basically closing early. Great.So I’ve wasted enough time at this Walmart.

I was impressed with the the price for my repair, and really impressed with their honesty. Most shops have never hesitated to try to make me pay for repairs I didnt need. But instead of trying to take advantage of me and selling me something I didnt need, they actually took the time to try charging my battery and then retesting it rather than just selling me a new one when mine turned out to still be good.

Overall good experience with having my tire fixed. Deann was very kind and professional and the guys were able to take care of the problem easily. Extremely grateful theyre open on Sundays.

Young woman with blue highlights in her black hair was extremely unprofessional, elevating her voice as she denied service because there was only one tech available and he was taking his lunch. I asked if she could take down the details of my vehicle and then keep it at the auto center to later drive into the shop later so I could pick it up around 5. With an angry attitude and a raised voice she explained that the only tech available was on his lunch and that she had nobody else to help me.She also raised her voice at an elderly gentleman who was in line before me. She might’ve had a bad day but was disrespectful enough to push everyone out. She seemed to not want anyone talking to her.I will probably never go to this Walmart again for car service. I’ve had bad experiences before but this was a tipping point for me.

2 1/2 hours to change the oil and rotate the tires on my Ford F-150. And there was only one other vehicle in the shop when I arrived!! I will not be back....

Worst tires ever. right after they put on new tires i’ve been having to fill them up with air all the time. never had a problem like this with any other tires elsewhere. called to see if they could repair it for free (after i paid once before for a repair) and they wouldn’t. definitely will never be coming back here again.

I went back for an oil change because they put conventional oil in my car when it required sythentic. So they took it in the back and drained the pan of the conventional oil and filled it with synthetic. When they handed me the keys they said no charge because they didnt Have a filter. So I got 4 quarts of new sythentic and they left 1 quart of old conventional. Im off to Jiffy lube

Best walmart tire center ever!! Had a fantastic experience

I came in here to get new tires on my moms car, and taking off the snow tires. We had ordered the summer tires in a couple days before, and scheduled an appointment for 12 o’clock. I am writing this sitting in the tire shop at 2:14 in the afternoon. They told us we would be done by 1:30 at the max. It is way later than we were supposed to be here, and they just told my little brother to quit sitting on the tires, even though he was supposed to be gone a long time ago. DONT COME HERE. It is not a good place to go. Go somewhere worth your time.

Associates were very willing to work with me on my issue and did their best to help me get my tires.

I had an appointment scheduled at the Idaho Falls Walmart Tire Center on Utah Ave. and was the first one there. I was getting 4 new studded snow tires put on. I got there 5 minutes early and no one in the tire center knew what was going on. When they finally figured it out they told me 1.5 hours to get done. Two and a half hours later...still waiting. It took close to three hours. They are rude as could be! No customer service! Never going back there!

Was in line for 20 minutes before helped. Just needed a tire and 2 wheels to have the tires swapped. Told to go grab the tire then got moved clear to the back of the line. So I waited for an hour in line just to be told they were booked.

We had one of our tires on our trailer blow. We stopped at Walmart in Chubbic ID. They wouldnt help us. We called the Walmart in Idaho Falls they were all very willing to help us. They stayed past closing to help us with new tires. Our thanks to the 3 great guys that helped us get back on the road!!

Good customer service

I got here at about 4. 4:15 at the very latest.I asked how long an oil change would take I was given an estimated 1 hour.Being my first time I had to get out into their system. The attendant checked out my car, mileage VIN etc. She asked to look under the hood, where she checked the oil cap. She told me I dont need synthetic oil because my oil cap doesnt say dexos. I assured her I need synthetic as the service information provided by the manufacturer of my Ford car recommended it. I also taught her that dexos was only applicable to GM vehicles and has nothing to do with Ford. She reluctantly agreed.While I was finishing getting setup I was told that it would actually be a shorter wait than they had initially said. It ended up taking well over an hour, almost 2.Im not very confident in the oil change as the technician didnt even know what dexos meant.Additionally they only offered the oil change I wanted for 0w-20. So I couldnt even get the oil change I came here for.

No one seemed to know what was going on. Was told my flat repair would take 10 to 15 minutes at the most. Not believing this I left and got a phone call 45 minutes and was told the tire couldnt be repaired and that I would need a new one. I told them ok no problem Ive road hazard on that. The tech then told me it wasnt covered I asked him why not and informed him the tire was less then 2 months old. The tech then told me that didnt mean anything. After wanting to talk to the manager he said it would be covered. After hanging up I got a call 2 hours later telling me my car was done. I went to pick up my car was informed I owed 20dollars for road hazard. I asked if it was road hazard or warranty due to the tire not being that old. Was told didnt matter. I asked for the manager and was told they were out and not around.

This place is great! Very understanding, helpful, and caring! Helped me with my flat tire- thought it was only a nail but apparently it was a wire that went through to the rim and made multiple holes in the tire. They replaced the tire and made me feel very appreciative with how they were and talked to me. Thanks again :) specifically Adam and Austin. Thank you!

Came In early, girl was like theres just you and one other right now so itll be pretty quick. I needed two tires. Im still sitting here 3 hours later. I ask them and they say oh, I think thats one done, then they left to check on it. That was 20 min ago.This is the last time I do Walmart for tires, my time is just too valuable to throw away.

Over-priced compared to other lube shops. Very slow service. They dont give good explanations of what they suggest doing.

I blew a tire passing through Idaho falls, I went to the Wal-Mart tire center because they were the only ones open (it was a Sunday evening) the staff was very polite and friendly and took great care of me. The prices were fair and they were speedy. Ive had issues with Wal-Mart auto care in the past, but the staff at this one really do great job.

It was great they changed the oil in my truck. The best value for a diesel.

The place took almost two hours to change my tires. No other work was done and my car was the only one in the garage. Not sure what took them so long, but it doesnt make me trust all of their practices. The tires were changed though; and the prices are competitive.

They did a great job on my SUV. They didnt try to over charge the way some chain oil places do. They didnt try to say I needed services I didnt and they even did checks to make sure my vehicle was ready for a road trip. I will be back to the Walmart service center on Utah again.

Pulled up for an oil change almost 20 mins ago and still havent had anyone help me!! Very slow service obviously. I even went inside and couldnt get any help they all walked out of the cashier area!

I should give them 0 stars. I came here to have my tires checked bc the thread was low and I had a side wall tear in 1 tire. I also had an oil change done. They finished the oil change and tire check supposedly in 20 minuets and didn’t call me to let me know anything. I come back after grocery shopping to check and they have me parked and ready to go with the same dangerous tires to put me back on the road the same way I came in. Didn’t want to give me a discount or anything and I have been here a little over 2 hours. I’m currently still waiting. I had to contact 3 managers before I could even get someone to consider my complaint. Then once talking to the last manger he gives me 20$ off a 250$ job. I’m never going here again. I still have to wait another 30 minuets on my car. I only went bc they are open on sundays but never again.

What can I say they took an hour to tell me they can change my oil because my indicator light was flashing. Took it to grease monkey and they had it done in 20 minutes no problem

Employees offer garbage service and blatantly refuse to help you if they dont absolutely have to. If it wasnt my only option to get my oil changed on a Sunday Id never have come in. Shouldnt take 30 minutes just to take my keys.

Every time I have come here to get simple work done they take, take forever, unprofessional, and don’t do a great time. Unless you want your tires filled with air(for free) don’t waste your time here.

I had multiple bad experiences with the Tire center and I let the store know about it. The store manager called me to apologize and to inform me that they do close at 8pm, not 7pm like I was told. Apparently I was given bad information from the desk attendant. Perhaps they do care about their customers and maybe one day I will try them again.

Takes about twice as much time to change 4 tires compared to everyone else in town. Not worth the small price savings.
