This store is great, however their hours continuously change during this pandemic, and they keep shutting down their store early on the weekends when I have the opportunity to visit.Please keep your store hours open on the weekends later so that is hard working people can visit your store on the weekends easier.

So I decided to go down to Tandy to check out some stamps. The great big OPEN sign on the front door and the door unlocked I go in. I take two steps inside and I hear Were closed, we dont open until 9 o-clock then proceeded to tell me I had to leave. It was 8:45 when I glanced over at the clock. Did I mention the big OPEN sign on the door. Really... this is how you treat customers.

Knowledgeable staff who took the time to answer all my questions. They didnt try to upsell! Just starting into leatherworking and was given a kit to learn the skills and was much more valuable in finding out if I wanted to stick with the craft instead of buying hundreds of dollars worth of tools then finding out later that I didnt enjoy leatherworking. Cant recommend them more highly.

The people here are always very helpful. This is the first time I have visited and had the staff yelling across the entire store. I hope that is not a permanent feature. Otherwise it is a great place to visit and let your imagination help you build up your next project!!!

Ive been to this store three times and the third time I came in, they greeted my by my name... their selection is great and the staff is lovely! I love spending some time going through everything and they make me feel welcome and are always ready to answer my questions. Definitely a great store with even greater staff.

Bigger than the last time I was there 15 years ago. They have more stuff than ever before. Hides with the hair left on. Ray skin for katana makers. Kits to learn from. And the smell! Oh man, I really love the smell of leather.

Wanted to exchange or get them to sharpen a punch that was bought in a kit. They said a bigger mallet was what I needed. Or wet the leather first. I tried to sharpen it after getting home, but no progress. Not real happy after several good experiences there.

I waited over a month to update this post this so you know its not in the heat of the moment. Beware if you order online and the package goes missing it is up to you to track where your package is. My package that was to go across the city (a distance of 11.8 miles and a two day normal delivery) took 13 days, traveling to among other places Tennessee, New York, and Massachusetts. Dony worry about calling the manager she will tell you its better/easier for YOU to contact the carrier as Tandy uses a different tracking number. Sorry tandy but tracking number or not .... I have no idea the name you put on the package let alone the street or city or even the state as bore out by the states visited and WHY should it be my responsibility to trace down a package bought in good faith? To be fair an employee at tandy went above and beyond to help after I was able to track down the package that was 1,500 away but management seems to only want your $$$$, service/standing behind their product/name doesnt enter the equation.

I visited this afternoon with my wife and daughter. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. Being new to leatherworking I had lots of questions. All the staff that helped me was very friendly. They were so friendly I decided to walk out spending more then I planned. I bought a big piece of leather. I live in Savannah so they shipped it for me so I didnt have to figure out how I was going to get it on the plane. If I lived closer my whole paycheck would go here. LOL highly recommend thank you

Wonderful place to go for leather supplies. Often has people working on projects in the shop so its a great place to go to ask questions too.

Went to a free class on the 6 basic tools and had a amazing fun time.linda my instructor was very through and informative.everyone was very helpful and enjoyed what they do. At first i was nervous but i was welcomed joyfully at felt like i was part of a family i rarely feel anymore.im excited to do it again and recommend it to anyone

Today was my first time going into Tandy’s leather. The prices are good and Steve was so helpful and knowledgeable.

Very helpful went in to ask about a few tools inherited and walk out with a very good explanation of the tools and a couple free learning pieces.

Always leave the store with more ideas than when I entered. Great place. Great staff.
