Stopped in yesterday to have my battery and alternator checked, as my car had trouble starting. I was a little distressed as I had errands to run, kids and school the next day. The lady behind the counter said she couldnt test them in the rain. It was raining a little more than a sprinkle. Ridiculous! Went to competitor, OReillys, and by then it was really raining. Not only did OReillys test everything, they also put my new battery in the car. Not only has this location missed out on a sale, they failed to provide customer service and have lost a customer plus more as I tell my story.

Went in there yesterday to get a new key battery, the nice worker there helped me from the moment I walked in the door until I left the store! He even changed out the battery for me and he didn’t have to do that, great service real nice dude. Thanks Auto-Zone.

Needed a last minute purchase for my Grand Cherokee the employee was super helpful and polite and very proactive as soon as I entered the door he greeted me and took care of what I needed. He even gave me a tip on something Im working on and advice to purchase boot protector stuff for my new plugs. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family in the future and Im sure I will be back as well. I believe the mans last name was Martinez on the receipt it has csr#20 he deserves a raise best customer service Ive had at any retail location in a long time.

Ive been to several Autozones in the Columbia area, but with this one being only 2 miles away from the house, its my go to location. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate how a few of the less knowledgeable employees dont just guess or act as if they know something when they dont. These employees ask the manager or other staff to make sure they answer with facts and give me accurate information. Managers are great and make sure you get everything and anything you need.

To those who wants to go to this store PLEASE read my story.If you guys want to but something in this store you need to pay attention on your receipt and check your card/bank account right away if you are using debit/credit card to pay.I had a really bad experience in this store, last June 24, 2020 i purchased an item with a promotional price of $22 + and the regular price on the shelf is &37 +. But when they check me out the price came out $45.99 without any breakdown of the taxes, it was not showing on the receipt. ( i hope i can post a picture of my receipt) I just assume that the taxes is more that $8. But when i check my bank account, the amount deducted was $49.67. (Again, i wish i could post a screenshot of my bank account).Not just that, when i was ready to claim my rebate, there is no instructions on the receipt to claim the rebate so i call the store asking on how to do the rebate, and they found out that the item they put for promotion is the wrong item. So i come to the store to talk to one of the manager (lady) on what they can do about that rebate, how can i get it back. Bit she said there is nothing she can do about it, she just said Sorry. But it was not my fault that i buy that item that has a promotional price, which they put that promotion to attract customer and it so happen that i was attracted because of the cheaper price., for me it was the stores fault to mislead a customer in that situation. I did told that lady that i was robbed by the store.So the store personnel has nothing they can do, but i find a way. I called the Regional office and explain about the issue and that lady that i talk at the regional office find a way to give me that $15 rebate. I applaud that lady in the Regional office. She called the store and after few minutes she called me back and instructed me to go back to the store and get my &15 gift card. But still even i get $15 back, i sum it up, the $49.67 that the store took to my bank less the $15 will be $34.67, it’s still way higher than the promotional price that they put which is $22+. The store still robbed me $12+.So please guys, be very careful in this store, i just don’t know if all autozone store does this. Robbing a customer.I will never do business in this store again..Thank you for giving time to read my story and bad experience in this store.

Stephen Waters not only helped me find the bulbs I was looking for, but he did not hesitate to install them for me and align them just right! Only took a little bit, and I was in and out with time to spare before heading into my night shift. He saved me so much time, hassle, and anxiety and made a lot of friendly conversation while doing it. So glad to have such a great auto place less than 2 miles from my home!

It’s come to this. No one will acknowledge theMANAGER !!!!!!at 9860 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29223 is robbing customers after hours. Saying that he will work on your car and accept money via cash app. Then never work on your car. Blame that due to Covid he can’t fix anything but only after accepting your money. Then he stops responding when you ask for a refund. I don’t appreciate autozone mistreating it’s customers this way. Or allowing this to continue.

Was recently helped by Allen. I Had a loose part connecting the battery and was given misinformation at a local repair place that was just trying to charge me For more than needed. Allenfound the correct piece in the store and Worked on installing it with such a professional and friendly manner in a he hot sun. So glad I didn’t let the repair shop work on it. We have always purchased batteries there and will definitely continue to Give autozone our business.

Went to get a battery for my car. The manager took my money then left me to help others that came in behind me saying for me to get out if i did not want the battery i just paid for? Really? He has my money and no battery because he does not know how to work the cash register! Going back this morning to talk to his boss about his attitude and service. I called him a racist for serving other none white customers after he took my money and refused to give my the car battery. I do so hope their video shows how he treated us! The manager had no idea how to use the computer to print out the receipt. His answer after he got our money. Just leave us and help those that came in after us!DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!

I purchased an alternator and it went out. So I went to the store to do a damage return. I had to purchase another and bring the old one back to get a refund. So I did that and returned to the store later that night. The manager on duty Odell told me I had to wait until the next day to get a refund. Because he had counted down all but one of his registers and didnt have that much money on that register. I informed him that all he had to do was get a loan from the safe and the next day his paperwork would all be on point. He called 2 other managers who must dont understand customer service and they told him to tell me to come back tomorrow as well. They didnt know I managed a AutoZone and knew what procedures you had to follow. Needless to say they are losing customers daily due to them not knowing customer service.

2 workers in the store. One was on the phone helping a customer, cool. The other came in from smoke break walked right past me and 2 other people who were obviously waiting for service and said nothing. Worker on the phone called out the other workers name for help, only not to come out and help.

I had an awful experience in this AutoZone today the store manager assumed because I was black I couldnt read when I was questioning why the price wasnt ringing up what the advertised price was. She stated to her associate on two occasions while I was there. Once when she was outside of the store and I could hear her. Then again when she came in the store. She started the customer needed to read because it was a mail-in rebate I informed her very quickly that I did read it and that this particular oil change special was not a mail-in rebate. The associate also informed her of the same and said the other associate had told me the wrong filter. This is my neighborhood AutoZone where I shop all the time but I will not be shopping there again.
