This is by far one of the best customer experiences I’ve had at a store. Right from the moment I walked in, the expert was extremely friendly and answered all my questions (I had a lot)! The environment was neat and the workers were professional and welcoming. We had a little setback with arranging for delivery in a different state and the employee was so efficient in finding a solution; I love that he was also mindful of my time and apologized for the delay. Rather that high pressure of selling us a mattress.Mattress Firm was the 4th place I went to try to buy a new mattress. After all the sales tactics at the overpriced Sit ‘n Sleep I was very hesitant. I was immediately greeting by Marc and he started to ask us what we were looking for and our sleeping habits. I said I like if firmer and I my wife likes it softer. We both sleep on our sides. That surprised him. He said that normally back sleepers like it firmer and side sleeper like it softer. Then we went on to explain why. He grabbed a cut out of a bed and showed us why a soft mattress is better for side sleeper and how it supports the body better. Then he explained that a firmer mattress will end us causing lower back pain, shoulder pain and arm tingling. ALL OF WHICH I HAVE! Like I said, this was my 4th store, and all salespeople asked the same questions, but no other salesperson told me what I really needed to hear. When we asked about what is if we dont like it. He said while its not often. He has never had anyone coming back a get a firmer mattress. They have all come back and gotten a softer mattress.I asked for a ballpark price on the mattress that I was looking at, and he said $5,000, plus of minus a hundred bucks. At Sit ‘N Sleep I asked the same question and they said $5,000 also, but when we sat down to purchase it, it jumped to $8,300. At Mattress Firm, Mark nailed it within $50. They did have expense add-ons like mattress covers, but Marc was able to get those down in price.Thank you Mattress Firm and Marc for being upfront and honest.

We we’re greeted right away by Marty who is wearing a mask and is super friendly and accommodating. I had a great experience and they had a large selection to choose from.

I have to say I’m super impressed with how this store is ran. I walked in knowing I wanted a mattress that helped relieve pressure on my shoulder and back since the past 2 mattresses I’ve had caused me a number of problems. Cliff and Marty both greeted me at the start and Cliff was extremely helpful and asked a lot of great questions to help me pick out my perfect mattress. A store I had visited previously before coming to this one was nice but didn’t quite sell me on the selection or the customer service.Cliff helped me pick out a pillow top mattress and it was SO comfortable that if it would’ve been in my house, I easily could’ve fell asleep on it. I came in with an idea of what I thought I wanted, but Cliff showed me lots of options to help me pinpoint what it was I really needed in a mattress. Even though Mattress Firm store isn’t native to California, don’t let it stop you from stopping in and purchasing. It’s a very reputable with a great name-brand selection of mattresses. Great deal and fantastic experience at Mattress Firm thanks to Cliff.First, although it may not seem like the safest time to go mattress shopping, we also happened to be moving during the pandemic. We needed a new bed in our new home. All staff were wearing masks and they provided us pillow covers while we shopped to keep us safe while we tried various mattresses.As soon as we got in, we were welcomed by Cliff. We didnt feel pressured or rushed in the whole process, he just listened to what we had to say and made some recommendations. Intentional or not, we felt like he had a system for figuring out what we liked. He paid attention to what we liked or disliked about the first few mattresses. He then walked us through the store to specific mattresses to narrow it down further. Clearly very knowledgeable and patient, he helped us figure out between two beds we were stuck on to select our favorite mattress.This was the third mattress store we visited and the third sales associate we worked with. Were glad we drove down to Irvine to try this location since the one closest to us was closed. We did our shopping and the price we paid was competitive and we received excellent service as well.

Mattress shopping is more difficult once you start the process than one would think. Especially if you are a couple and both people want something different. Marty was able to find us the best mattress even though costed more, I never felt this good on a tempur pedic and I have had sleep disorders and back pain which felt at ease for the first time in a long time. I went to Mathis Brothers and Ortho Mattress as well and Marty stood out with his transparent customer service while not sounding super sales-y. I work in sales and appreciated his approach and chose to do business with him and they had the Mattress in stock for free delivery 2 days later! Thank you so much Marty for all your help.

I came in on a Thursday to ask some questions and collect information on grandmas behalf. It’s been a million years since she bought a new mattress for herself. Marc and I were the only ones there at the time and he was very patient with all my questions. He was never a typical “Salesman” type which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I came back the next day with grandma and he was even more patient and easy going. Grandma moves pretty slow these days and Marc was happy to go at her pace and wait until I was fully done translating and explaining. This ultimately led to the purchase of a mattress and adjustable/ remote control base. I purchased a Purple mattress and Box Spring from the Mattress Firm in Irvine, CA. The customer service during both purchases was excellent. The reps did a great job getting my orders delivered as soon as possible and even fixed a hiccup along the way from the supplier that wasn’t their fault. We also got a great deal during a holiday sale and their mattress guarantee was longer (120 days) than if I had ordered from the Purple website. Highly recommend.

I placed an order for a purple pillow and paid for the order. The person I spoke with said that they had the pillow in stock and I can pick it up anytime. I went on Monday, driving out of my way, to grab the pillow only to find out that they did not even have it! Very inconvenient. I do not understand how they can tell me they have it in stock and when I go to pick it up they say it will take time to get the pillow.
