Ive been trusting this shop with my car for the last year and they always give you an honest assessment and charge you only for what you need. Took my car in for a grinding sound in the front end. It didnt need a new part, so they didnt even charge me for fixing the position of my brake shield. Great shop.

I easily made an appointment to check out a rattling sound from underneath my car. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Within 2 minutes they had the car on a lift and found the source of the rattle; within 10 minutes it had been resolved. When I went to pay, they said there was no charge. Can you beat that?

Great experience! The diagnosis came quicker than anticipated and the Service was so quick compared to the all day that another shop projected to me. Once I got there the mechanic took the time out of day to explain what was wrong, told me the next steps and showed me the old objects that were replaced with during the service. Great job guys

I had a family emergency, I needed quick care from honest people. I had my muffler and pipes replaced along with four tires. The guys worked hard, showed me their work so I would know it was done well and got me back on the road. I thank them profusely.

After feeling like I needed my personal parking space at Cole Muffler I got a a sense of relief by the dedication from the employees there. They tried so hard to find the issue with my vehicle. If you want you need work done on your car go to Cole Muffler. They’re really there for you and definitely underrated. They need a pay raise!

I went online to setup an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and a nys inspection. Online scheduling was easy. I received a call to verify what I needed done and to confirm the time. The appointment was very smooth and extremely timely. Only waited 45 minutes to have everything done . Ken the manager and the gang did an excellent job. I couldn’t be more pleased. I give them 5 stars ! Way to go guys.

Great place had some muffler work done and welding on my truck they did a great job the guys there are great managers called to keep me posted on it and when I went in to pick up always great to talk and oil changes are great and very reasonable love this place

Anytime i come to this shop the staff is very friendly. Explains everything clearly to me and does the job in a timely manner. I never have any issues and any issues I have beforehand are addressed and fixed. Will be continuing bringing vehicles to this location in the future.

I had my brakes checked here the other day and they were extremely professional and friendly! Ken helped me at their front desk, and he was very good at communicating the status of my vehicle to me. The repair was done quicker than anticipated, and prices were also very fair and competitive.

Ive had several excellent experiences here. The highlight was a couple of years ago, when the brackets on my exhaust system broke. The local Toyota dealer gave me a quote for around $3,000. I brought it to Cole and they welded everything back together for $150. The mechanic even gave me a ride home. I really appreciate a shop that is willing to repair things rather than simply replace them.

Called for some exhaust work. They said they dont do exhaust work. You should think about changing your company name.........I called the number provided said a vp of training or so would give me a call back. 2 business days later still nothing. Your customer service is as good as your brand name.

Fan fell off while driving and we lost power steering and heat in this bitter cold. Coles got us in immediately and had it fixed within a day. Car drives better than ever now! Dustin is the mechanic who fixed our car.

I pulled in Cole Muffler with a leaking brake line. They put it on the lift then showed me where it was leaking . They fixed it and I was back on my way with in a matter of no time. Awesome service!

My power steering suddenly stopped working, so I went in to see if I could get an appointment to repair it. I came in expecting to leave my car and come back another day, having to find a ride back and forth, but these guys saved me all of that trouble! I ended up waiting there for only a short time while they got my car in, repaired and out of the garage, and my power steering felt great afterwards! Ive been here in the past for a few other repairs as well and have always had great experiences, theres a comfortable waiting area if you want to hang around while your car is serviced. Very friendly employees as well!

Heard exhaust noise start near my engine. My mechanic was booked up so I went to Cole. They told me I needed a muffler, catalytic converter, tail pipe. Around $400 just materials. Didnt sound right so I waited for my mechanic. He said all I needed was a manifold gasket. Everything else was totally fine.Cole sucks,a bunch of torip off artists

I’ve had consistently great service from Cole - they do what they say, on time and at very reasonable prices. I never feel like they’re trying to sell me anything unnecessary. It’s great to have a car repair place that I can trust.

Friendly management, however my original issue was not resolved yet ended up spending close to 600 dollars (suggested parts purchased by me elsewhere and labor there)I took it somewhere else it was fixed in 20 minutes for 20 bucks. Something as simple as a busted hose.Albeit, did a good repair job on my exhaust system.

These guys are awesome. Never oversell, always squeeze me in. Cheap as all get out. When they wont pass my rust heaps for inspection they tell me before they do any work on them. Tom & Matthew are just all sorts of awesome. If Cole didnt exist Id have to buy a real car. Id rather give my money to these guys as they struggle to keep my Sh*tboxes on the road.

NOT SATISFIED!!! Dont stand by their warranty! Not service friendly. Also not satisfied with quality of work. Had lifetime warranty on muffler and was charged for it because now it comes with tail pipe attached. After several phone calls to district manager and store manager, I still have no resolution to the problem. Store manager came up with every excuse in the book. Will not be using their services anytime in the future! Would not recommend! Honesty is the best policy.

Fine people here at Cole Muffler in Ithaca. They were able to deal with several issues besides the muffler all in a few hours.

Four or five star but for the call center. Call the shop directly at 277-0391 for straight answers about availability, appointments.

I rarely review anything online unless it is super good or very unacceptable. Here is the later. I put lots of money, time, and effort on this unreliable shop. I changed a new set of winter tires and need to come again after only three months since they did not align the wheels and the tires turned shabby. Also, I changed a ball joint from here and right after I changed it the weird noise kept coming from my front wheel. I went back for fixing it and they told me It is fine. Then six months later, the noise was getting worse so I change the place to fix it and the ball joint needed to be replaced. After a five times waiting for poor fixing which let me wait for six hours each time, Im so upset about this shop and wont go here again. Please please avoid this place!!! Unreliable, untrustworthy, long wait, redundant fixing. Do not waste your time and money on this shop.

Very poor experience with this location. After calling on the phone and getting a price that was reasonable I took my car in to have two tires put on and was told it would take about an hour which is pretty normal. After coming back 2 hours later the car still was not finished. After waiting another almost 2 hours the car was finally done and they ended up changing me $40 more than what I was originally quoted and the only explaination they would tell me is that that is how much tax is. Tax on $150 isnt $40 in any schooling Ive had and their customer support number was no help in resolving the issue. Definitely will not be back, nor will anyone I know!

Took care of some minor issues even though they were busy and I didnt have an appointment. Prices were reasonable, and they didnt try the upsell hi, were doing your brakes and noticed $2000 of repairs you need that seems very typical of many chains around Ithaca.

Always courteous and do a good job explaining what needs to be done and cost. Prices always fair and reasonable.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Got a new set of tires, after leaving and getting up to speed, come to find out they were not balanced properly, shook entire car. Took back again to have balanced, left, same thing happened again and weights had fallen off. Called the new manager who is housed at Cole Muffler (partners of Mavis), to get fixed and asked what he could do to make this right, as it would be my 3rd time back, he said hed give me my $10 back and to take it somewhere else and hung up on me. This is very poor customer service, and to tell you to go somewhere else? Wheres the Satisfaction Guarantee here??? If you tell people to go elsewhere, how long do you plan to stay in business for? I am going to take his advice this time, and wont be coming back!
