I dont have good credit, so I was concerned about trying to purchase a newer vehicle. Maguire Ford of Ithaca made the entire process so easy and stress free. They will work with you to make sure you get the car you need. I recently had some issues with my breaks and since I had recently made a purchase agreement with them, they replaced the breaks at absolutely no cost to me! Thats real customer service!

The salesman was very nice. Got myself a 2019 ford explorer. Nice vehicle and lots of room. Remote doesnt work to start my vehicle in the morning to warm up. It has a hitch which i wanted but still havent gotten the cover off yet.

Great Dealership. Everyone was very helpful in completing our purchase.Matt Jacobs was really great in helping us in the purchase of our VW Jetta.We definitely would consider going back to him for another vehicle when the time comes to buy again.Great new facility. They even have a section where you can check out a vehicle inside out of the rain. Which was really nice considering that it rained the entire day that we were there.We drove 60 miles to get to the dealership and it was worth the ride. they beat local prices by over $2000!!

We searched high and low for that right vehicle. The right price with the right amount of mileage, and it lead us to Maguire Ford! Unfortunately our first choice was sold, but our salesman Troi, within minutes, found us a comparable vehicle at a sister location and offered to pick it up and have it ready for us to test drive the next day. After several weeks of researching and having no luck, it only took 1 call from Troi to find the perfect vehicle! He was a very personable and professional. He is a perfect example of how a Car Salesman should present him and how to treat their customers. The financing was also excellent. They found us a better rate than we came in with from our own bank! It was a simply fantastic experience and we look forward to purchasing an other vehicle from them in the future. I had a great buying experience. I wasnt sure if I wanted a new car but I filled out the application just to see what would happen. I was approved fairly quickly. I didnt have to physically go to the dealer and wait and wait. I was approved and then drive an hour away to test drive my new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Our sales rep was amazing, as was our experience. And they arent pushy.Thank you Pablo!!!!!!

Maguire has a monopoly in Ithaca and so they dont care anything about customer service or fairness. They know that if you dont want to deal with them, you will have to go out of town and have that hassle.I have had two different cars repaired at Maguire, both with extended warranties. The Escort was in at least once a month and they could never figure out why it kept stalling. Sometimes they would keep it for several days to diagnose the problem. I would pick it up and within hours it would start stalling again. I guess since they couldnt make any money out of it, they just let me deal without a car for days and drive an unsafe vehicle.The other car was a VW with a drivers side window that wouldnt go up. They told me that with the warranty I had purchased through them, the repair should be covered. I drove around in the middle of winter with no window for 2 weeks while they investigated whether the repair was covered. No one ever called me with the status; I had to call them every day for an update. Finally, they told me I would have to co-pay $350 for the repair. I was not willing to wait another 2 weeks someplace else, so I scheduled the appointment. They said it was a 2 hour repair so I waited. The repair actually was done in the time promised, BUT I had to sit there for 6 more hours while they worked out the payment details with the warranty company. Since they knew I was coming, they should have had this arranged in advance.Save yourself frustration, money, time and hassle. Go anywhere else.

The sales person Tyler was very nice but the first vehicle that was brought home had a major oil leak 2 days after buying it and we wanted to completely trade it in for another vehicle but were set on what model. they did have a 3 year newer model of the vehicle and due to the hassle of having to travel back to the dealership (3 hours total) we figured they would give us a better deal than what we got from them. overall they were fairly easy to deal with but were a little let down on the reputation repair after receiving a vehicle that had a major issue only 2 days after buying. in the end they did make it right and got us traded for the newer model and its been about 2 weeks with no issues, just paid more than we though we should have for everything that happened.

I have had good service in the past leasing a 2016 escape for 2 years and then a 2018 escape for 3 years. I think I was given a good deal. When it came time for the 2018 lease to end, I decided to purchase it as the buy out price stated in the lease was good considering used car prices in spring 2020 and especially since I had not put on the miles expected.I contacted Maguire Ford 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time to purchase it knowing that I was making the purchase long distance (snowbird in FL). I was constantly told it takes 2 hours and not to worry. 2 weeks later, I was able to purchase the car. I had already received approval from CFCU but was told they could get me a lower interest rate. Yes, they obtained one slightly lower but It was not until after continuously contacting the salesman, his manager, and finally the manager. There was one reason after another that it took 2 weeks-- ie, my information for credit was miscommunicated, they were taking care of another customer, etc.As it stands now, I do not think I will go back to Maguire Ford.

Awful customer service. I purchased my car from them in August and needed a new battery today, less than six months after purchasing. The car has less than 35,000 miles on it. They wanted to charge $360 for a new battery. $74 of that for a diagnostic fee and $100 labor cost. Insane. I took it to Monro and paid $160. Even after paying Maguire their $74 diagnostic fee (what a joke) I will have saved over $100.

Do not call for any help. Guy who answered phone was very rude and did not know anything. Was not willing to be bothered with a ford owners questions. I had just called another ford dealership ferrario ford in bath for some guidance on my f150. They were very helpful. Maguire ford in Ithaca needs to look at there employees. It was the worst ever service experience for my Ford. The people were nice and cordial, but my service specialist Mr. D Knight was unfortunately very unprofessional. Upon turning in my vehicle for a routine service (Works Package), he did not provide me with a copy of the service requested and did not take down my phone number or information properly. I dropped off the vehicle at 10.30 am and was told to expect a call when the service request was completed. I never got a call until 4.45 pm when I drove to the service center and had to wait 15 minutes for Mr. Knight to show up and confess that he lost the contact information that he had scribbled down on a piece of paper and was hoping I would show up myself to retrieve my vehicle.Typically for a WORKS Package, it comes with free tire rotation and I was charged a further $25 for the same. I was not provided the MPI (Multi Point Inspection) report - which is the norm at other FORD dealerships and was given some random sheet that he picked up from the shop floor when I insisted I be given my vehicle status. He promised to send me the actual MPI report the following day! Moreover, the bill was not even in my name but a certain T. Robbins who has no relation to the ownership of the vehicle. I had to retrieve my VIN number to realize the bill was for the service done on my FORD. This was utterly unprofessional. In addition to the WORKS package, I requested air filters to be replaced, and the charge on the bill was set to $0, which he revised by his pen (overwriting it to charge me an additional $63 for the service).I was confused and disappointed in the customer service and the poor shoddy job done on my vehicle and would not recommend this FORD dealership for your service needs.

During the year my family had to have ongoing issues with our primary vehicle addressed by this company, it became painfully clear that Maguire has earned their local reputation for predatory sales and abysmal service. It would never have occurred to me to go to them to buy a car, nor service any vehicle I owned due to the stories Ive heard directly from other past Maguire customers, but unfortunately was required to do so by the terms of multiple factory recalls and warranties on a vehicle purchased out-of-state. More than once, a repair was completed (usually way over the time estimate), only to have the issue resurface, sometimes on the short drive home. Any time we had to follow up on a current, recurring, or new issue, just getting someone to actually answer the phone or return a call was the work of hours, if not days. The last time we had “repairs” “completed”, the car broke down less than 10 minutes after driving away from Maguire, but luckily in front of another dealer. When Maguire refused to take the car back and ACTUALLY complete the repairs, I was fortunate to find a good deal on a vehicle I wanted to purchase and get a remarkably decent offer on the trade-in of the non-functioning car at the dealer where my car stopped running. One of the reasons Im excited and relieved to have my situation with this car resolved in this manner is the hope of never having to deal with Maguire ever again for any reason.

I recently had four recalls done on my Mustangs. I arrived promptly for each appointment. The first car took about 25 minutes before they even looked at the car the second appointment took 35 minutes before they looked at the car the third visit took 40 minutes before they looked at the car and the last appointment was taken within 10 minutes. During one of the visits my 2005 Mustang GT was scratched in the glove box area. A service manager took care of me and had a professional come to my house and fix the damage within just a few days. The service manager was great, listened to my concerns and fixed the problem. The service people especially Chrissy has been very friendly and helpful and I will continue to do business there.

I came into the showroom a few weeks ago and inquired about the Ford Auto Show Test Drive Offer. I met with Tyler, and he helped me fill out the information. When I went to input the information later that day, I realized the information given was incorrect. I thought that this might just be a mix-up so I called the showroom and asked for Tyler. I was told that he was meeting with a customer so I should leave my name/etc, which I did. I waited a week and did not receive a call. I then called the Cell number on his business card and left him a voicemail. 1 month later I still have heard nothing. Ultimately, we were able to find a good price on Maguire’s lot. Their team member Matt Jocobs helped us ink a deal. No one at the location was pushy and they went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Even after the sale, Matt has been in contact to see how things are going and to make sure we had the best experience. I would highly recommend seeing Matt and the rest of the team. Bought Vehicle less than 6 months ago. Nothing but problems with no help from Maguire. Sales manager Brandon is very unhelpful and unprofessional to say the least. Car has had a cracked radiator, needed new brakes and rotors, multiple service needed flags, remote they gave me was not signaling correctly and had no hard copy key. Drive off the lot with no plates on car. First day Home noticed damaged interior and when I called Brandon he said “well it is a used car”. Not up front people here. They want to steal your money. Told them did not like car. Asked for trade in and they offered $7000 less than what I paid. When asked how that was possible? response was “your car has a lot of problems”! Lol. Stay away. They will trick you and steal your money. Very disappointed.

I recently took the trip up to Maguire to take a look at the trucks that they had available. Was met by Alex, who immediately was warm and welcoming, offering to answer any and all questions as we test drove a truck I had been eyeing. Because of how amazingly he treated us, I felt comfortable taking the plunge and leasing that truck, which I had been debating with myself for some time. We were able to leave that day with the truck of my dreams, and the process was made so smooth by Alex and the team. This is the second car I have purchased from the Maguire family of cars (purchased from their VW lot 6 months ago, just as amazing of an experience), and I will continue to go to them for all of my familys cars in the future.

Zero stars. Spoke online with a sales representative back and forth for a week and set up an test drive appointment stated I have cash down payment and would like same day purchase of everything went smoothly . Show up day of and the salesman stated someone came and purchased it the day before. I was referred to Austin, he wouldnt come out and speak to me, first, the sales man said the person paid in cash, then twenty minuets later he said they have one day to show up with the money and were able to leave with an unpaid car! Wasted a 1/2 hour trip to Ithaca for a car that wasnt there and for the salesman to talk in circles around what happened. Not impressed.
