I usually dont have oil changes done at a dealership, but because this one was free with the new purchase of my Traverse I decided to give the dealership a try. I was completely impressed. It only took 30 minutes to get the service done and I was on my way. And the service was done very well. I will definitely be getting my regular service done at Serra from now on!
We purchased a Chevy Malibu in April of this year, sales guy said it was mechanic inspected, in fact owned by the sale managers own father and was taken well care of. We drove less than 300 miles before it needed new brake pads and rotors, which were so worn that it needed new brake line fluid because it had leaked out. By the time we hit 1000 miles, two of the engine cylinders had entirely failed, leaving our nanny and kids stranded, and now it needs a full engine replacement (estimated $4200 used). Worst $6800 cash (after taxes and fees) ever spent for 1000 miles. When the sales guy Michael followed up a couple months later to ask how we were loving the car, we told him about the early problems, and he responded simply with “sorry to hear that, but I’m no mechanic!!!!”Should be a tag line in their commercials! Avoid this place and Chevy products for that matter.
Buyers beware!!! Please read if you have the time.I purchased a used 2014 Infiniti Q60 from this dealership. I worked with 2 salesmen, not sure why it was 2 but I requested all damages and cosmetic imperfections of the vehicle. Both salesmen were very nice, that is why I am not naming them here but this is about management and the owner. I was sent video, pictures and written text messages of all the damage on the vehicle. I was happy with what was presented and made the purchases. I am a nurse and once COVID initially all the flights kept getting cancelled. After 6 weeks I was able to fly out TN from CA. I was happy they had their staff drive the vehicle to me at the airport so I could drive it to GA and have it transported back to CA. Once I reached GA I had the car washed, once it was washed I saw many cosmetic imperfections that were not presented to me, 11 total, such as rust, scratches, dings and cracks. It also looked like someone got a touch paint marker and went over the whole car with it as I found the pen in the glove box. The major one was a dent on top of the driver fender that was not in the video or pictures presented to me by the 2 salesmen. I immediately informed my salesmen and they informed me they would let their manager know, after 3 weeks of run around from the manager I was basically told I was out of luck. I was hoping if I contacted the owner and provided him the evidence of damage not properly presented prior to purchase he would be able to help, I only requested assistance in fixing the large dent on the fender that was covered by touch up paint and not the 10 other things. He called me back immediately, made me feel important and said he would call me back the next day, 2 months later, 10 voice messages left, several emails I heard no response and had to have the office manager get in touch with him, finally after 1 month of being unable to get a hold of her I receive an email from her per the owner I purchased the car as is. So this dealership got away with it, I purchased the car thinking the exterior was in great condition but it was actually in poor condition. In a pandemic like the world is going through now when health care workers and nurses such as myself are being treated with high respect and integrity I would never think I would be taken advantage of in this way. Shame on them. It looks like even in 2020 the old thinking of a used car salesman still exists. Best of luck to Mr. Hamady and his staff thank you for the valuable learning experience. God bless.

We first rolled onto Serra of Jackson’s new car lot on February 1, 2021. A car salesman came to my husband and I, introduced himself as Rick Phillips. I told him what I was looking for, which wasn’t on the lot. From that moment he made us his priority staying in touch letting us know what was available. On Tuesday, April 6 I got a message from Rick that he had a 2021 GMC Acadia Denali in White Frost Tri-Coat and Silver(not one but BOTH of the colors I was interested in) and he text me pictures. Everyone is very nice, but be very careful, on there used cars, my brother bought his car there a month ago and before his first payment, already dropping money in it, now he hasnt paid 2nd payment and cant drive it. They said they did inspection, did not. They were going to clean it up for him, did not. Salesman was really nice, but hes there for a paycheck like everyone else. I am very disappointed the way it was all handled. They brought the car to us, so I couldnt say anything much to the delivery guys. Be very sure you carry it to a mechanic why you test drive or make sure you know about cars.
I’ve been here twice for service and both times were horrible. Over 5 hours to install assist steps and almost two hours for simple oil change and tire rotation. Each time I had an appointment and arrived early. I won’t be back.
Service Department with oil tire and lube was on point! My main contact guy made my appointment over the phone, setup all needed work for my Denali at its current mileage, and had shuttle ready for me right after turning in my keys. He also called to verify more needed work and that my vehicle was ready.
My experience was exceptional and completely surreal!! Steve Nawrocki is THE BEST! Weve been going back and forth for over a year, and he personalized my experience. I had specific needs, and he checked each one off the list to help me! It wasnt just a car buying experience; he went above and beyond! In fact, it was his day off, and it was my only day off. He didnt try to rush me; he was patient. He didnt try to just get me in a car and out the door! He was car selling hero!
I was immediately directed to a sales rep (Mr Hurt). He was very helpful in helping me find the right vehicle for me, even though the rainy weather was less than desirable for looking around on the lot. Finance dept was also very efficient and informative.

Sales representative understood the specifics of a GM employee price transaction and was very knowledgeable about that as well as the specifics of the vehicle. They suggested a home delivery since it was a straight sale with no trade-in. This offered me a great convenience in time and logistics. The drivers that did the delivery were courteous and professional. Most of all everyone did what they said they would do and when promised. I am very satisfied with service, attentiveness to my needs, and response I received when I first called the dealership inquiring about the vehicle purchased.
After the oil change and tire rotation, I went to leave. As I got to the end of the drive way, my front passenger tire almost came off. I got it turned around and made it back to the service department with that tire wobbling badly. The other tires had to be snugged down tighter as well. Your service manager was very apologetic and gave me a pass for a free oil change and rotation when (if) I come back. This could have ended badly.
I have been getting my car services here for 3 years which is the length of time Ive had the car. Ive never felt welcomed! The first question always asked is have you been here before, instead of them looking my information up in their system which shows Ive been there often!! No one smiles or seems happy to provide any service in the service department. I dread making appointments and bringing my car in.

I just bought a 2021 Chevy Traverse, on Saturday my SUV was dead, I went Serra to see and ask what needed to happen. In so many words, I was to get it there and they will see what they could do. The attitude of the Service Manager was lacking any customer concern. This has been the case that I have encountered in purchasing a used car and when I needed assistance with a new key fob, for a car not purchased there.
Bought 3 vehicles from them. The fourth time they tried overpricing there vehicle, and taking our money. The salespeople are rude, they make you wait along time.The only good thing is service. Stay away from them!
I was broke down out of town. They got me in super fast and helped me as best they could . They did a great job and I think they love my train horn. 😂

Had appt at 9:30am. Waited in waiting room and worked on my computer. 10:30 ish the service tech talked to me about replacing an air filter - I said replace it. At 11am, 11:30am11:45 - I asked the cashier for the third time what is going on with my car - she said they had not turned in the paperwork. At 12 noon I asked the parts lady and she looked it up and said they had to order the filter. I had to call my Son to pick me up - BAD COMMUNICATION!!!!!!

Best deals Ive ever experienced! I bought a 2017 Silverado Z71 in early 2017. Then we bought my wife a new 2018 Chevy Colorado 4X4 on December 27th of 2018. Seen the new 2019s while we were there and went back Jan 15th and trade my 2017 for the all new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado Z71. Very good people and easy to deal with.

Terrible service. When asked what was going on with my car after waiting for 3chours he told me to go somewhere else if I didnt like it. When I made the appointment i I told them the engine light was on. When I brought it in they were not prepared to work on it. Rude and obnoxious service manager.
As this was my first visit to Serra of Jacksons Service Department I was a bit uneasy. I arrived a bit early for my 12:00 p.m. appointment. Since one of the two Oil and Tire Rotation Lines was vacant I entered anyways. Immediately a service man ran to my car and asked if he could be of service. I told him I needed a Oil Change and handed him starter remote. He said he would handle everything and escorted me to the waiting area. Once my vehicle was finished the cashier called my name and quickly and professionally took care of me. She handed me the service order, explained what had been done and said there was no charge. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised and quite happy. Thank you for the professionalism displayed by your service department.
Awful just awful I got a 2017 Ford Fusion it looks nice but it had 2 recalls and a lemon engine which means the engine ain’t running good like it was before because when I was down the road the engine quit on me on and off so buyers beware of what the sellers are trying to sell you because they think they fixed everything and give you a warranty but it really ain’t worth buying from there so be carful when you buy something from them they’ll trick you just to get rid of the car so they won’t have to see it again🤦🏼♀️😡

Pushy saleswoman who wasn’t very attentive, had to call to get someone to meet me in the parking lot and the guy never showed, the woman just happened to be riding by on a golf cart. I’ve bought two trucks here in the past, they leave a lot to be desired. I bought a GMC Sierra Denali HD in Ohio for a better deal.

I mean the guy that is always in charge of my truck has the worst attitude and towards other customers and coworkers! He never tells me what was done to my vehicle and never explains anything. He acts like its such a chore to do his job! His name is Thomas! Im over this dealership! Everyone is always nice when they are trying to sell you something but then when you have trouble with your vehicle, no one wants to help!

My Son brought in the car for oil change and tire rotation, when he left the dealer he noticed the car was vibrating very bad and something was wrong. Upon inspection the drivers front tire only had 2 of the 5 lug nuts tightened, (the other 3 spun loosely by hand). This could have caused a serious wreck...dealer did send out a tech to ensure all were tight after a phone call, but not sure how this could happen. We ARE NOT satisfied with response from dealer or the service.

Outstanding service for me! On my way to Virginia, my car broke down and was towed to Serra. Normally it would have been a couple of days to get me in, as they were very busy and about to close, but they said they would look at it first thing in the morning. Raquel and Wilson were extremely helpful by providing me with a free loaner vehicle and suggestions for a hotel. They replaced the starter and got me back on the road very quickly and at a very reasonable price. Thanks so much for the loaner vehicle and especially the outstanding customer service. I’ve bought about a dozen new or used vehicles. This was by far the BEST NO PRESSURE sales experience. I worked my deal with input from my salesman “Sammy” the sales manager (usually the nymph who hides behind the glass) and finance. Before I sat in the “signature cubicle of hell” I had my terms, RATE and payment. My trade was within $1,000 of Tru Car suggested and the initial offer on my GMC was less than Tru Car quoted. Do your research and and expect to be close at Serra Jackson!
**LONG POST BUT PLEASE READ**I set an appointment at the dealership Tuesday 8:30am because my check engine light was on. I ended up leaving to get food and I received a call from the dealership stating that the cans in my engine needed to be replaced. This may not have been the exact words verbatim, but for sure it was said that there was something going wrong with my engine and it would cost $475 for the parts and labor of fixing my vehicle. I literally had to clean out my savings to make sure my car gets fixed. Due to Corona, my financial situation is in a compromising state, like plenty of others. I picked my car up at 5:30ish. I drove it from the dealership to Old Hickory and my check engine light came back on. That wasnt even a 10 minute drive! I called the dealership immediately. An appointment was scheduled for Thursday 8:30 am. When I got there I was told that I would have to leave my car there over night and allow them to run diagnostic test on it to figure out the problem and that I will be notified of the need of any additional prices and that a new code popped up. I was told before that if I get a diagnostic test ran to determine what the issue with my car is and not get it fixed by their business, that it would cost me over $100. Now I am a woman and I dont know the first thing about cars but my dad has always told me about how some mechanics and men may take advantage of that.. So, I just took my car back and took it home with me because I literally had no more money to give. I literally spent all of my money trying to get it fixed the first time and literally have no true knowledge of if it was actually fixed or if the problem was made worse. I feel like I wasted a great deal of money because my car is still running weird like before. But other than that, the customer service was fine.
