First off the sales guy that came to me was very Nice and had a great attitude. We went on a test drive and it went well! So after we got done test driving the truck I was wanting. We went inside and ran some number that would fit in my budget the sale guy was working hard to get it done for me. But unfortunately we couldn’t make it work because the sales manager wouldn’t come down on the price on the truck and to make things for interesting they offer my trade in so low that i was shocked my truck value was about $30,000 to 34,000 trade in value. They offer $28,000 for my trade what a insult! I will never come back to this Chevy dealership! I will take my business somewhere else!
I was very very impressed with Mr. Chris Lewis. He was knowledgeable about his vehicles, but what impressed me the most was the way he came across as being an honest caring person. I have bought several vehicles from other dealers in the past, but from now on I will only by from Chris Lewis where ever is is selling cars, because I know he looks out not just for the dealership, but for the customer as well . I appreciate the person that was trying to help both the loan officer and sales man. I felt rushed to make a decision and I really wasn’t comfortable how I was handle. Sales man and loan officer was saying two different. how straight forward I am that wasn’t good sign to me since the salesman was a friend of the family I trusted the process. I went on a wed and the next wed it still wasn’t a decision made. I really don’t even think the loan officer wanted to work with my salesman with me. Don’t know why. They said my job and no one answered and I talk my administrator she said that HR was there all day. I was the one that kept reaching not one time after the 24 hours either one of them tried to reach out to me and the loan officer stop answering my calls. I finally caught of to him he said he was still waiting for the bank. Don’t know why it so hard for people to do their job. Still didn’t get a definite answer. That is not good business to me.
Long story, but I’ll never go back. Richard, the salesman and Godfrey the finance guy were great but the ownerships choice of business ethics are terrible based on my recent experience. They are not in the business of Customer Service or Customer Satisfaction. They’re in the business of greed. Plenty of other choices out there and I’d recommend an other dealership.

This was my 2nd time coming for an oil change and tire rotation. Every employee I come across is so nice and very professional in their own ways. I really enjoyed the man who goes and gets my car for me at the end. He is very kind and funny yet very professional. He introduces himself and tells us what he does as we are in the lounge waiting on our vehicles to be finished. I really appreciate him for washing my car before bringing it to me. He feel he went out of his way. GREAT place to recommend friends.
My car had been there almost 2 months for a diagnostic test. When they finally gave me the price of $5000 I declined to have the work done. I then asked for a minor repair to be fixed. Andy said ok. Three weeks later I had not heard from them so I showed up. He said the part hasn’t come in yet but he couldn’t tell me when he ordered it. So I said nevermind the repair and I would like my car back. He brought it to me and I paid the diagnostic fee. I drove it home only to realize the car wasn’t put back together! Screws and parts where loose everywhere. I drove it back to have the car put back together and Andy laughed about it with an insincere apology. I will never recommend this repair shop.

Worst customer service ever. I told them dont start working on my vehicle until I arrive never signed anything for them to start working on it. Most of the leadership dont know whats going on. Will lie to your face after you prove them wrong they wont apologize. Did three different diagnosis to my vehicle told me they couldnt print it out to prove what was wrong with my vehicle. They have poor customer service skills.

Customer service need improvement! when I pulled up, clerk was not friendly, gave impression didnt want my service, maybe clerk had other issues going on, however it showed. My suggestion: Talk with your team, reminding them how to greet customers, this matters, we are the reason you are in business.Oh yeah, I was there 3 hours, no one checked in to give me an update. My suggestion: Check in at least 1 hour 1/2

It was my first visit due to Hurricane IDA displacement and the experience was very pleasant.
The 2 main problems I had with my vehicle were repaired. I was very concerned with the check engine light. The diagnostic test identified the chief issue but the mechanics discovered after-market parts and recommended genuine Chevrolet parts to ensure better performance and to prevent the warranty from being void. This action gave me a peace of mind and confidence that my Equinox would perform well when driven in the city and on the highway.
I took my car to herrin gear Chevrolet 4 different times to have the ac fixed on the passenger side of the car they returned it to me covered in grease and the dash was falling apart and the ashtray wouldnt open, well they finally came to my house picked up the car kept it 2 more days when they brought it back some of the problems were fixed I still have grease in the car the passenger side seat isnt fixed the carpet isnt fixed yet the driver said he gave them the list and said he was sorry but he is only a driver, well 5 minutes after he left herrin gear called me again saying that they were sorry and if I would bring my car back they would fix the rest. They had my car a total of 5 times about a month and a half how many times does it take to fix it. They loaned me a car while mine was there and the windshield got hit with a rock leaving a crack on the passenger side and I was not permitted to leave the property until I paid three hundred some dollars for the new windshield. I returned their car exactly like I got it, why not show me the same respect
My husband has been waiting on a a Tahoe for almost 3 months. When we went in the first time, they did not want to sell to him because he was paying cash. They also quoted him $6000 less than 2 other dealerships on his trade in (Car Max and Rogers Dabbs quoted him 15000 on his 2016 Nissan Maxima). KD (sales associate) said he would keep my husband posted if he got anything else in stock. He did, but every time it fell through due to the dealership. This week, he called my husband and said he had exactly what he wanted. He sent pictures, but we are out of town. My husband told him he’d put down a down payment (any amount- we have the money ready), and he said he would get the figures worked out. After my husband reminded him that he was not financing the vehicle, just putting a down payment down to have them hold it until we get back 5 days from now, we did not hear back. My husband checked in just a couple hours after KD said he would work up the numbers, and he said it was sold. Although we understand cars are hard to come by right now, we’ve given them multiple chances. We have a baby on the way, and he is needing a safer vehicle before his arrival with the money to pay for it. We just needed to know exactly how much to send. We will not be doing business with this dealership anymore .
I recently went in for an oil change. Although my time frame was drastically reduced from what the technician stated, I was still disappointed that I did not receive the car wash and detail that I requested. Upon leaving, I noticed that the gentleman in front of me requested the same service and received it. I did not mention the disregard to any one because I felt that my request should have been written down with the other information given when I checked in.
I took in two vehicles Andy who was my service advisor did an outstanding job and shell be well commended the service department as a whole is a 10 and Ive been in this business for over 10 years
This service department is so unprofessional. They keep your car for days without any update or communication! My only regret is getting a Chevy! Would not recommend this location.
I have been trying to find a Tahoe at dozens of dealerships, and I didnt end up buying my Tahoe from here, because I was able to finally find one a little closer. I bought a car from here not even a year ago, 7 months to be exact I already had trouble from day1.. My sales person Joni was out the day I picked up the car I notice the air pressure was reading low pressure in one the tires the financial manager told me to put air in it myself. Really! now I see the engine light on went to the Hyundai dealership its the intake manifold for 795.00 thats including labor..I literally jus git this car I should have carried my business elsewhere
Our salesman Gage was very helpful and patient with us. We drove a couple of vehicles and ask for prices on all of them. He brought back papers with bottom dollar and monthly payments prices. He did all these things in a timely manner and was very polite the whole time. This was the best buying experience we have ever had.
I had the pleasure of having Frank as my salesperson. He was absolutely fantastic!! He was so helpful, attentive and worked wonders with my pricing. He went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and most importantly, that I felt comfortable and secure in the purchase of my 2020 Malibu. Upon delivery, I was able to meet the wonderful Mr. Curtis. He made sure that everything was to my satisfaction and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. My appointment for service was at 9:00 am on 5/18/21. I arrived at 8:50 that day. I came in for a airbag replacement on a factory recall. The service manager told me that they were running a little behind and there was about a 2 hour delay. I decided to stay and wait for the repair. Two hours didnt seem to be much. It would be 6 hours before my vehicle was returned to me. This makes no sense for a minor replacement of a airbag cylinder. I was highly upset. If it would take that amount of time to make this repair I should have been informed of this in advance. There were several other people who arrived after I did and received there vehicle in less time than I did. Much less time. I will think long and hard before I would return to this dealership.
I bought my first ever car from here about a month ago, and I love it. Khalid Dorsey made the experience super fast and easy! He was very kind and patient and helped me find a car that worked for everything I needed! He was also very helpful with helping me set up my first oil change and making sure everything got done properly! I would highly recommend going there and seeing him.

My truck was taken in on Wednesday and when we got it back Friday from being serviced for recalls the fan belt broke when we got home had to call my insurance company to get it towed back and did not get it back until Monday with no loaner car or anything. No other types of perks no free oil change no fill up on gas or any incentive for a future visit. I could not even speak with the actual manager. My husband went to pick up and the other workers were very rude to him as well. The front desk lady had to get his truck. I was not happy or satisfied with this experience.

We were greeted by our sales consultant, KD Dorsey, in a very friendly way. Our consultant was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the vehicle we wanted to purchase. My wife and I are in our seventies and not up on technology. Mr. Dorsey walked us through every question about the vehicle we were interested in. The final selling point came when Mr. Dorsey programed our cell phones to every aspect of the vehicle we purchased.
The gentleman that took great care of me and my car at Chevy Maintenance was named FOD and he was so kind and made sure I understood what was being done to my car. He was such a blessing to me. I will be back if I need to and look for him
I had my vehicle repaired after an accident. Herrin-Gear uses this to repair all vehicles. The staff was very helpful and upfront about costs. Brandi was awesome in helping me. They gave me an estimate and repaired it in one week.
I cannot express how great the personal attention we received from the Manager while looking at new cars. Although we have not purchased yet we felt very welcome. I cannot wait until they have what I want on the lot to test drive!!
I went in for a battery. I called 1st to price it. I was told it would be $145 for a battery with a 42 mo. warranty and that it was in stock. The battery was $170 at the part store plus free installation but I went to the dealership since it was cheaper and I needed to see if they could cut my key anyway. The serviceman told me the battery wasnt in stock and they would have to go not too far to pick it up. I didnt think much about it. When they were done my total price was $265 and the battery was $210. I asked the serviceman about the $145 price and he just said they had 3 different batteries to my car. I paid the total in disgust but it will be my last visit to Herrin Gear if I can help it. There were a ton of places I could have gone and got the battery installed for under $200. I also didnt realize they charge a miscellaneous service surcharge fee. I didnt think about it until I left, but I want to know what type of battery did they install and why didnt anyone ask me what type of battery I wanted since there were 3 different options. This sounds like they chose the most expensive battery- probably the gel battery for extreme cold weather. I dont need that type of battery in MS. But I am going to check my car and see what type they installed. I want them to switch out the battery for the $145 one.
Very professional Very helpful and Willing to go the extra mile with great customer service .I bought my truck from another dealership and they was willing to correct my free rotation that my dealership supposed to done on my first scheduled maintenance.So now I will always bring my truck to Herrin gear Chevrolet they wanted to take her all the recalls that day and on top of that they wanted to rotate my tires but it was gonna take some time I was really impressed

I have been a Herrin-Gear Customer for over 20 years, either purchases or services. I purchased a Sierra Truck from another dealer, but because I work in the Jackson area, I took it to Herrin-Gear for my service on check engine light. There was some service done at the other dealer in my home town, but I didnt really trust their service department. I carried it to Herrin-Gear, and they found that, there was a sensor improperly connected, which caused the Engine Light to come on. Herrin-Gear did not make this a bid deal and showed high high level of integrity. They were very honest, and could have very well told a customer, that they needed another sensor, and made up a bill of a couple of hundred dollars. Thanks Mark and your team for being some of the most honest services techs in the area. Please keep up the good work and integrity!!! Honesty OVER profit!!!!! Thanks again and see you all soon.

All I wanted was an oil and filter change,and to check my fluids, I was there at 7am that lasted 4 hours, no one would come te me anything,the service rep.whise name was Rob Torhman never came back to keep me informed on what the delay was, this was so unacceptable to not at least tell you what was going on as long as I have own thus vehicle this was the first time I became frustrated with this service department.
This Chevy dealership was the best I have ever been to. The staff was friendly and willing to work with what I wanted. Gage was an awesome salesman and even after I bought my truck he has reached out to see if I have had any problems. There was a mix up with my side steps and Gage made it his business to make sure that everything that was promised to me was delivered. I will be using them again for my wife’s vehicle when the time comes. Thank you

During the month of April I went in to purchase a new vehicle! My salesperson unfortunately ended up being a guy by the name of Roger Murphy a Chevy‼️ I set my expectations from the moment we spoke as to what monthly note I wanted etc. I was already pre-approved. He agreed yes I can get you the note and most likely lower. On the day of the purchase which was about 3 days later he didnt even take me into the office. This was his way i know now of not having to sit down and be honest about his intent. His ultimate goal was to manipulate the sale. As he is walking back and forward I ask if he got me the note I wanted he says yes ( In retrospect I could tell he was lying but at the time i didnt think someone would be that blatant) got into finance office the guy gave note $150 more than Roger promised. I told him thats not what was promised the finance guy shrugs his shoulders because Im sure he wasnt aware of what Roger and I discussed. I said i dont know about this and walked out of the office to rethink! Rogers comes over and pretends he didnt know although ten minutes earlier he confirmed my requested payment amount. The finance manager worked some things and got me in comfortable note. In addition, I had a trade in gave Roger my keys and he gave them to inspector to drive and appraise value. Guy comes back im in the lobby get on computer Im looking at Roger stand over his shoulder looking at computer screen as he set the trade in value for car. Then he walks toward me heading to finance office as I know it now to be but I stopped him and ask what did I get. He said $5500.00 I replied are you serious I have a credit. He said yes! When I got home and looked at papers I only got $2000.00 thats $3500.00 less. I failed to notice this until after I signed papers. I work in sales myself and integrity is #1 with each customer I encounter. I have been reaching out to Roger last few days just to have an accountability conversation with him he wont answered so I called dealership line he picked up and when he found out it was me he said hey John and disconnected the call. I am going to office to speak with management and write letter to corporate and review on every site possible. I am happy with the car but disgusted with the sales process and person I dealt with. I heard about these type of salesperson and Mr. Murphy embodies every trait of a car salesman with not one once of integrity or honestly to the customer. This was a lesson for me. I just want to warn anyone going to that dealership about my experience with Mr. Murphy
This was by far my WOREST experience & looking into a new dealership for my vehicle needs. I made an 9am appointment arrived 8 mins early & had to stand around & wait over 35 MINUTES BEFORE ANY advisor acknowledged I was standing there. Female employee in the glass office couldnt help since she was to busy playing a game on her cellphone.Your mechanic Jackie seen me when I got out my vehicle, HE greeted ME & AFTER service when he brought me my vehicle thank me for choosing there dealership & was VERY pleasant & HE is the one that kept me from WALKING OFF AFTER standing around while OTHER employees walked right by without saying a word or even asking if I need service. I will NOT be using this dealership no time soon
Well the atmosphere was good just waiting for an oil change had to wait an extra long time to get the oil change.
Having to find a ride back and forth to work is very inconvenience for the customers, Ive brought my car into the service department over 5 times within a months time. Everything its something different that wasnt the issue the first time. Now they know that GM is aware of the code P2138 that makes your car lose power while driving is malfunctioning, why do I have to pay to fix it? If they know its a problem and in court now because of wrecks and deaths, why charge me to fix it? And the same part is on backorder since last year. Plus a oil change shouldnt take 4 hours when you see mechanics walking back and forth all day.

We were on the lot for an hour looking for my son a new vehicle before we were able to get any help. When we finally got help, it was awful! The salesman was NOT knowledgeable. He didn’t know anything about the brand he was selling and the guy who also works there was 2 cars over cussing on the phone in front of my 6 year old. Find a better place to do your car shopping.

I came in and told Cheryl exactly what I was looking for, and she didnt waste my time or try to persuade me to get something different.. She simply greeted me and mentioned a few options and went to get keys so we can begin our search. The dealership had EXACTLY what I was looking for. After speaking with different dealerships and going through the same initial process, others would show me other options or models/brand names instead of what I was looking for. This was not the case with this dealership! Overall I had the perfect experience and Cheryl made this process a breeze! Id definitely suggest this to friends and family in the future.

Waiting room was not very nice. I had a appointment for 7:30, it took 2 hours to change oil and rotate tires. People were great.

I bought a vehicle from this dealership that is still under warranty. But I was still told that the damage done to the lugs and wheel hub was caused by me. In spite of proving that the wheels had not removed prior to yesterday. Two separate Chevrolet dealerships both left me holding a $350 repair charge. But that’s fine, I’ll share this experience with everyone I know personally and on social media.

Herrin Gear is a local car dealership. It is a pretty large facility and they have multiple dealership brands located on one lot. They used to be a great place to find a nice used car years ago as they had a $10,000 and under lot and a $4000 and under lot. They are both no longer there and it is now your typical dealer lot. That is why its okay to me. But they have eager sales people and decent customer service. Price wise you may still find a deal you just will have to dig for it as with other dealerships.

No leadership once u buy a vehicle u mean nothing to them anymore.if u ever have to bring your vehicle back to the service department i feel sorry for u. I have always been a chevy man but its time to move i purchased a 2018 ltz sliverado for 68,000 and a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty truck went in shop at 30,000 miles for transmission problems which they kept for couple weeks 10000 miles later the same thing back to shop for couple weeks 10000 later the truck want run over 15 mph so back to shop they tell me it needs reprogramming but warranty want cover that i also had a 15 ss camaro that i sold because after 4 or 5 trips to shop they still could not fix i also bought a 2021 sliverado and sold it with 5000 miles because its time to clear the fleet i also hav3 chevy work vans that wl be replacinv them with ford
