Kind and friendly staff. Good coffee, excellent bagels. I had a lox w/out the salmon fish. As I do not eat fish or other meat. They have vegetarian and vegan options. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and clean. Their bathroom was very clean. They mentioned that theyre going to be expanding theyre seating space. And I definitely will be coming back.

This is a fantastic coffee shop! I love the menu - there is a wide range of coffee and tea options, including a golden yunnan tea latte that our daughter enjoyed. I was impressed with the light, airy room, the all-around excellence of the barista, and the deliciousness of the cortado. Ill be back!

The coffee and service here are wonderful. The baristas always have good knowledge of the choices available. The atmosphere here is great, with windows looking into the Fido Motors workshop.

Great place not to expensive and always something different to try.

Fido was the first real coffee joint I encountered in Kalamazoo. It meant a lot for me to come here and make friends in a new place and that would never have happened if the coffee wasn’t on point. They deserve every penny you give them. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Great spot for 3rd wave coffee (craft coffee). They have a great selection of multiple origins served in different Brew methods from Kalita Wave, Chemex, Clever Dripper and Hario V60. Espresso was dialed in nicely as well. Knowledgeable staff and commendable ambiance. Shop is in the front of facility that makes Fido Motorbikes quick are battery operated mopeds and scooters made from locally sourced materials around the Kalamazoo area. Pleasant stop on our weekend trip to Kzoo.

My hubby and I each got one of the winter special lattes, I got the yuletide and he got the soltice. I think his was ultimately best but both were so delicious. The service was not super quick but ight was a nice cozy little space to wait.

Gotta check it out. They make a load of stuff in house. A taste I cant find anywhere else. Great spot kind of off the beaten path.

If I were to base where I live strictly on favorite coffee shops, Fido would put Kalamazoo pretty high up on the list.

If Im going to buy coffee or tea from a small business in Kalamazoo its going to be fido from now on. I have been here countless times, and the drinks are incredible.the atmosphere is wonderful for business meetings, studying, family friendly . They have wonderful out door seating. Walk up service, so you dont have to go inside. (I call ahead so its ready when I get there since covid ) Its truly one of kind, and the owners are dedicated to staying on top of all coffee/ drink trends... One more thing, i dont know of another coffee shop that is dedicated to being as eco-friendly as fido is. Thank you fido for all you do!!

Great space for ASL! Open seating area and natural lighting. Small space but solid atmosphere and coffee. Tucked away and cozy with plants everywhere. Wifi. Exposed brick with natural wood and reclaimed tables makes for a nice little spot for friends

Great coffee; Nice workspace. The seating is a bit limited but the shop is currently expanding. They do a seasonal speciality drink menu, so if you want to step out and try something different and really good. I highly recommend it!

I was there with a friend. I had heard that the coffee was very good but my coffee tasted strange almost like chlorine bleach aroma and not the smooth rich strong roasted bean flavor i expected. I took two sips and couldnt drink the rest. 6.95😭😲 Sorry....I dont know if was the type of bean or what. Cant say Ill be back or Id recommend to anyone else.Good luck.

This is a lovely little spot serving Populace coffee. They are always super friendly and pull a very nice shot of espresso. It’s a bit out of the way and can be hard to find. But it is worth it.

The strangest business model ever. They have been in business for years yet nothing has ever come out of the building to be sold. Apparently you can now put $1000 down on your $9000 scooter... which is more that a fully awesome non-vaporware Zero motorcycle!Update: after seeing the owners response, I think its telling that he doesnt recall meeting with me....

High quality coffee, house-made syrups, friendly staff, seasonal offerings, rotating menu for specialty drinks, above average espresso. I recommend any latte they have. Been here several times and I definitely consider it a go-to for coffee in kzoo.

Nice little shop, quick stop for coffee. I didnt give 4 stars only because it was best for you to go grab a coffee and go, not very inviting to stay and do homework or read a book.

Today was my first visit to Fido and I can say that I will absolutely be back. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, the coffee is fantastic. Very glad I stumbled upon this place.

Went with my coworker Shon. Had a meat sandwich (delicious) and a Prime Minister with almond milk. They also have old school bottled coke so I had to get that! I hope to save enough money to buy one of those scooters too!

There are some amazing coffee roasters/brewers/shops in Kalamazoo - Ive only visited Fido Motors Cafe one time but, and I dont say this lightly, they made a strong case for being the best in town. Got to meet Mack who explained his homemade syrups (I recommend the beer reduction caramel - so good!). His brew is part art and part science and his passion is obvious. Pastries from Sarkozys Bakery were a great surprise as well.Making its home in a reclaimed factory and sharing space with the Fido Motor company, the environment is unique and very comfortable. Yes, it is off the beaten path but it is well worth the visit.

Stopped here on my morning route and Im glad I did The drip coffee is what got, and it was delicious. Cool place too.

Espresso was good all they need is a swing set a Merry go roundand And a moped rental.

My wife is a serious coffee fan, and she rates this place with the best cup and toasted grains in Kalamazoo, MI. So we come here often for a snack, to buy provisions, and to enjoy a chat with the baristas. We are quite concerned however with the extensions currently being built as the place may lose its cozy and undercrowded simplicity.

Full disclosure I am friends with the owners of this cafe but even if I wasnt I would still give it top ratings.Im not a coffee drinker so I find it frustrating when a cafe doesnt have good non coffee options - Fido isnt one of those cafes. They offer Rishi teas and a variety of other things including my fave - good ol fashioned hot chocolate. They use cacao powder in theirs and it gives it a richer flavor than just using chocolate syrup - two thumbs way up!On select Saturdays the have Waffle Weekend which is not to be missed - fresh hot waffles with themed or seasonal toppings are offered. Get there between 9-12!

Had one of the best latte I have had in a long time.

((Fidos Waffle Weekend)) we were eager to try them out you know some place new to start the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the place was clean. But after that it was downhill we ordered two of there Waffles we even watched as they made them. But we learned of their establishment on Facebook and they had a beautiful photo of a waffle with Strawberries and whip cream, so that what we ordered, only to find out they dont have strawberries they had choices of rubarb, avacado, chocolate chips, oh they could do bananas? Hhmmmm? So we easy going we said sure lets go with it :) then they asked if we could share a banana each having 1/2 on our waffles, we asked for butter they had no butter:( we asked if they had syrup? yep we have syrup theres a plus. They then told us to go make ourselves comfortable we could sit anywhere they would bring our order out to us. A few minutes later out came our order, it looked nice but there was barely any syrup so we asked if we could have some more syrup? ( Waffles are big and get dry absorb the syrup easily ) she went and brought more maybe like 2 tbls worth Lol! So lets dig in. :) the syrup they had put on them was so cold the waffles were now just as cold very cold and the (extra syrup)was very cold. Now my husband and I are troopers and instead of making a stink about it so we ate our waffles, I could not eat anymore then almost half so I asked if I could have a to go box. One of the young ladies said sure no problem let me take this and it would be smoother if she did it back at the kitchen and we could just grab it when go up front. Ok Im not big on people touching my food but once I went with the flow only to find out that my waffle had been crammed into what looked like a very small Chinese take out container. My husband and I said thank you very much while both of us looking at this tiny carry out box and wondering how they fit all of what I had left of my waffle in the little box we both looked at each other and giggled and shook our heads walking to our car. When we got in the car we opened the box to find my poor waffle completely squashed and jam packed in the box. OMGOODNESS!!!! Really? Needless to say it went right into the garbage when we got back home.Sooo although it makes for an amusing story for our friends and family, LOL! WE WILL NOT be returning to Fido Motors Cafe or recommending it to anyone either. Thank for the opportunity to share and rate our visit. God Bless!

We locals have all been to Black Owl, Waterstreet, 4th Coast, etc., not to mention the chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Biggby. While they each have their pros and cons I can say the following without reservation: If you are looking for the best latte in Kalamazoo then Fido will be worth its out of the way location. Smooth, rich, balanced, perfect!
