Love the selection and quality. Great for a quick bite and a quick cup of the good stuff
Very cute book shop and coffee shop with great staff. Would highly recommend :)
A coffee shop in a book store?! Sign me up!This is a gem in Kalamazoo. Enjoy the vibe of a book store, with great coffee, good food, and they also serve alcohol!Beyond books, enjoy author visits, live music and more events. Most mornings are pretty full and the afternoon is busy as well, but Ive never had a problem finding a table for 2.
We have visited the Table of Contents a couple of times to have informal business meetings. Good ambience although we were perhaps a bit too loud. Getting a table may be a problem because of the regular crowd. Good coffee and pastries, and efficient and friendly baristas. Lots of books around. They have also got beer, so meetings could flow in two lanes. Take advantage of that.
Great cold brew and a delicious panini!
Good local food, simple menu, good coffee, great pastries from Victorian Bakery, nice folks. Also host events and have a bar. Plus its in a bookstore. Whats not to love?
Visited Table of Contents for the first time yesterday. Its tucked away in a nice little plaza, nestled between other little stores, including Sawall market, a pub, a dog grooming place and even a bird store! Before entering you walk through a cute little outdoor seating area with succulents in decorative teapots, which I personally thought was adorable. Inside you find a kind of rustic-ish cafe and cocktail bar amid a beautiful library of books for purchase! While waiting for our iced lattes, my boyfriend and I enjoyed looking through the interesting selection of books and puzzles they displayed. Categories were marked on chalkboards of the shelves and there was even a sliding ladder like in the movies, which we thought was pretty neat. The barista personally delivered us our lattes, that were delicious and we left to walk through the nearby neighborhood. Overall a very cool place and will be visiting again!
I love their ice coffee and food to go along with it! They have the best breakfast egg muffin I have ever eaten.
The coffee shop Table of Contents inside this is a bookstore seems worth its own entry. A half dozen tables, a couple of couches, and a half dozen seats at the bar. Free wi-fi with posted password. A couple of outlets, though not terribly convenient to tables. World music at low volume on the audio. Friendly, hip barristas and customers. Small selection of good quality loose leaf teas, and tea lattes are a standard item. (So I didnt even ask about the chai mix.) Small selection of pastries, about half gluten free (yuck). Small selection of yummy sounding sandwiches. The cafe is, of course, just part of a quite wonderful bookstore with a good balance of literary and pop literary. A fantastic addition to this neighborhood overall.
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere.
