After going here often, I was told out the blue they are no longer doing samples. When I inquired about how long this was happening I was told 1-2 months which wasn’t true. I was here within the month and I was able to sampled so idk why the lady working there told me that. It’s the lies for me. I left and I won’t be spending any more money in this establishment

Fantastic service! Its fun to pick out your ice cream, and then throwing in all sorts of extras from gummys to Oreo cookies and treats in-between! Enjoy watching all the choices mixed in to the creams, and stuffed in to a big waffle cone. This location never seems to get too crowded, and has adequate seating spaced well enough apart, for Covid safety.

Interesting flavors that you wouldn’t see at other places, also loved the great customer service. But what really solidified this rating was this amazingly cute unicorn design I got on a cookie cake for my 4 year old daughter’s birthday party. Definitely will be coming back for future birthdays and events.

Sorry staff we came in 30 minutes before closing & ordered for their, the 2 staff members we dealt with was pleasantly happy and enjoyable to deal with. They were fast at making our cones they got the orders right with the perfect mix of toppings that we asked for, & then we started to notice that even at 10 minutes to close there was still a bunch of people coming in and ordering to stay. The store was clean and stocked. No issues, I would suggest getting their app. For free items.. Enjoy everyone, I highly recommend banana ice cream, Graham crackers, & chocolate chips.

Ordered a banana split to go and was given the food with no cover whatsoever, when I asked for a paper bag the employee had an attitude. Only reason for the star is that I cant give zero star. For a store that offers a delivery service you would think that they have the ability to cover the food. Utter disappointment.

Great place for ice cream and shakes. Took my wife after dinner. We love this place. Always great service. Prices are high compared to grocery store ice cream but not for a night out with your wife. Easy to get in and out and always friendly staff.

Okay. Kids love getting marble slab ice cream so I take the once a month or a couple of month. First time on this location. Clean place and friendly staff. It is a bit overpriced but it is what it is.

I visited this location yesterday and left very disappointed. I showed up and they was a young lady helping costumers with there ice creams and there was 2 other workers there just standing one was right in front of me and never even offered to help me, i had to wait for the young lady to be done so she could help me. While she was helping me i noticed one of the ladies was on her personal phone not sure why you would answer your personal phone in front of costumers. The place was hot seem like the AC was not working . The young ladies who helped me i believe her name was Jessica was very nice and sweet definitely no complaints about her

I’m very disappointed. I received butter pecan ice cream about a month ago that didn’t taste like it was mixed well and decided I wouldn’t go back. Well, I made a huge mistake Tuesday night and gave them another chance. I asked for a quart butter pecan (again)! I saved it and sat down tonight and it’s clearly not what I asked for. I have VANILLA. I called and asked to speak with the manager because I wanted someone to know, but was told the manager may be available tomorrow. I’m not happy with the service and I will not go back.

I havent been to a marble slab in over a yr. This in had absolutely NO fruit add ins. I ordered a plain cone cup. I had to remind the person 3xs and she still didnt get it right. I had to change my add ins. She got it wrong and didnt put whipped cream on top. I will not be returning.Also i almost tripped because the parking lot is uneven.

We walked in and werent even greeted. The gentleman working had his back to us. When he finally turned, he walked right by us and headed to the back without saying a word. We left and went to Freezy Frenzy and had great service to go with our delicious ice cream.

This place has the best ice cream i have ever had. The peanut butter ice cream was the most beautiful piece of art I have ever consumed. Out of this world service. The two boys that helped me were very friendly and I was able to have a good conversation with them. I cant remember their names but I think they said they were cousin. Very respectful young men. I will be back soon.

Is there a better ice cream joint than Marble Slab? I dont think so. Many ice cream and frozen yogurt places in Katy, this one is better than all of them. Pricey like all of them but this joint delivers the goods. Dirty store though, they should clean it up.

Horrible service. Why have a your business on dining advantage and none of the employees know how to ring it up the coupon. The new guy was at least trying to be helpful. The girl working not friendly. Maybe thats why your on dining advantage you need business. Wont be back I never have any problems at the other 2 marble slab that I use the same one for. And no manager that can help them. Train your employees if your are going to leave them by themselves.

My son wanted his birthday cake from here so I ordered what he wanted over the phone. The lady that took my order barely spoke English. I was a little concerned that my order was going to be wrong. I went the day next to pick up the cake and the young man said he didn’t know anything about a pick up. So we searched the case for my cake. I told him I placed it with someone who didn’t speak English and he said that was the store manager. Really??? We found the cake and as I thought it wasn’t correct. None of the toppings that I asked for were on the cake. The young man called her and she said they were mixed in the ice cream. I said I’d take it anyway. When we actually cut the cake it was vanilla and I ordered birthday cake and the toppings that she said were in there were so small you could barely taste them. I’m not prejudice an any way but if you’re going to run a business in the United States then you should learn English. Just the same as if you were in Mexico then you should learn Spanish.I will NEVER order a cake from here again. Thanks for ruining my sons cake on his birthday!!

Very rude young lady that works. Audrea I believe is her name. She was very rude to me and my husband. I asked her for her name and she rudely asked me why. I will be revisiting to have a talk with the manager. My husband and I also notice that she was much friendlier with the white customers behind us.

I ordered a double scoop waffle cone. Wanted one scoop s’mores and one coffee. She started to mix them and I said I wanted one on top of the other. She said can’t do that. It’s a combination. Need to mix them. So I left. Baffled without my waffle.

Good costumer service. Lobby was clean. Really wished they would train their employees better. I order Ice cream (birthday cake, on a chocolate sprinkle cone with sprinkles and cookie dough) he grabbed so much ice cream I was surprised. He put sprinkles and cookie though. Then proceed to put half the ice cream on my cone. Leaving all the sprinkles and cookie dough. In the other half (that I did not get) Ill give it a chance again. Because the place was clean.

Very bad experience! I drove 12 miles to this Marble Slab location. Asked for one of their specialty cones, “Vanilla Cherry Vacation” and the we’re out of two main ingredients VANILLA and brownies. Very poor planning on staff and management to not have essentials for ice cones. I won’t go back to this location! Waste of time and gas!!! (And their was to soft.) Ugh!

Good ice cream and mix in options, particularly the amaretto flavor and hot fudge/brownie/caramel sundae options. Really nice employees, great customer service. Unfortunately this location was in a bit of disrepair when we visited. Blinds were broken or not existant so going in the afternoon/evening is not pleasant - youll get blinded by the sun no matter where you sit. It was very hot inside. The frozen yogurt machine had an out of order hand-drawn sign. They only accepted cash because the machine was broken.

Ordered a cake for my daughters 8th birthday. Marble slab sent a confirmation email. I show up at 2:00 the day of the party and they say they had an issue overnight and the cake was ruined. But they didnt call, so I had no idea until I was in the store. Very unprofessional. I have been coming to this store since it opened. Never the cleanest, but it was our neighborhood ice cream shop. They absolutely screwed us and will never get another penny from me. I do not recommend trusting them with your food as they clearly have no regard for their customers. I understand that mechanical failures happen, but its inexcusable to not call and give me a chance to fix my kids birthday. Check my other Google reviews, I am usually a very complimentary customer.

Came by today. I saw no customers in the store, proceeded to ask for what I wanted and the lady at the counter rudely said Just a minute!. I said I didnt think she was attending anyone. She didnt reply and kept ignoring me. I left. Lost my appetite. Poor customer service. She could have said Yes, Ill get that for you in just a minute and not act like she was inconvenienced by a customer.

I have been going to this location since the late 90s when I was a kid. Its great if all your concerned about is good ice cream. I gave it an average rating because it is consistently dirty including the bathrooms, and the employees always seem frustrated that they have to actually work and interact with people.

I Went here on a late night with my sister and though they had very clearly had a long day by the dirty floors they were sweeping and a chair out of place here or there they were very friendly and willing to bear with our slight indecisiveness, the Ice cream was really melty but it was all just really good in general.I 100% support a small family making their own business like that too!

Love the ice cream,but I had a really bad experience here came in with my children and parents and the guy that took care of us was really high on marijuana he even smelled a lot still, this is a family place kids and elderly come in here a lot cant believe they let this guy work here and on top of that he is the manager I am very very very disappointed. I dont think am ever coming back to this location again and am gonna make sure to tell my family and friends about my incident

The Dark chocolate with some kitkats is seriously to die for and what I get every time! I cant get enough of how amazing their Ice cream is tbh tho sometimes the older staff ladies can be a bit bland to talk with and seem dead on the inside haha. Cant hate them for that too much tho since thats most places of wok and I could of just caught them at a bad time. Still the smell in the place is superb and honestly just makes me want the smell at my house haha.

Shop was empty when we arrived, tall guy was laying on top of counter watching something on his phone. Got the distinct feeling that we were interrupting / intruding on their quiet time. Glad that business picked up right after we received our order.Place is a bit difficult to find if not been there before. The Marble portion of sign is not lit up.

Today, Employee who serves the ice cream didn’t wash her hands after people paying, nor wear gloves.

Ice cream wasnt bad but it was expensive as anything and the place had tiny pieces of trash and dust balls all over the floor. The chairs and tables werent clean and the high chair for our kid was broken. The water fountain looked nasty also. We probably wont be coming back. We have some other places that are newer and updates and a lot less expensive.

I dont usually write reviews but I just came from this location and was very disturbed by the lack of sanitation. Girl sitting on the counter playing on her phone. Then she went to the bathroom where there was no soap, came out and did not wash her hands once. I work in the food industry and I know there are a lot more germs than anyone ever really knows but come on! I wanted to complain to corporate but no one could give me any store info. Go figure. Maybe management needs to do some evening visits.

The staff here is completely clueless. When I walked in, nobody was there. I waited and no one from the back came until another employee showed up through the front door. One employee that came out from the back wouldnt answer my questions, he would just look at a different employee and have them answer for him. Honestly they looked like they were 15 years old. Really unpleasant. I just ended up leaving.

The lady was super nice. I was very thankful for my experience. A great philosopher once said, better out, than in. I believe his name was Shrek. No truer words have ever been spoken in an experience with Marble Slab Creamery. I would say I didnt my ice cream with my hands, however, it was finger licking good. Id compare this experience to when Shrek and Fiona get married, and have their children.

Meh. This place has been here for a while and some parts of the place show it. (The bathroom was unavailable as it was out of order and the floor felt sticky). Its overpriced in my opinion. And they dont have great dairy free options (two sorbets out of like 30 different ice creams). Other than that it was fine. I mean its kinda hard to mess up ice cream.

The only two young men that was working was sitting outside on their phones and rubbing in their hair and scratching their faces (we sat in the car to see if they’d wash their hands) when someone pulled up they both went inside and just stood behind the counter. Neither of them washed their hands. My husband asked the one that was getting ready to fix our ice cream to wash his hands first and he got an attitude. They were out of just about every flavor ice cream. My waffle cone had black fuzz all on it and the ice cream itself had a funny taste. I wish I would have walked away instead of spending my money. As soon as the store emptied they both went right back outside instead of cleaning up or restocking ice cream flavors. NEVER going here again!

We visited this Saturday afternoon and service was great, good ice cream and the facilities were very clean.

Marble Slab has always been my favorite place to go for ice cream, but I will never again visit this location. Its very obvious that cleanliness is not a top priority. Aside from the stains on the window shades, the loose hairs stuck to everything, and the ice cream drippings all over the place that have hardened from sitting so long, the brownies in the brownie sundae and the waffle cones are stall and taste like they have been sitting out for weeks. There are three employees here but as I have sat here alone for the past 30 minutes, not one of them has come out to the main area of the establishment or cleaned a single thing up. I refuse to spend my hard earned money for ice cream in a dirty, careless establishment.

Ive been there like 3 times and every time I go there I ask for a banana split and every single time they dont have bananas... pretty upset! Also BEWARE they charge for their plain cones when it clearly states in the menu board that each ice cream comes with a hand rolled waffle cone. I asked the young man why he had charged me for a cone and he could not answer my question and just said “do you want your .98 cents back?” and proceeded to give me change but i paid with a gift card i mean cmon!!!

Like the multiple choice of cones or cups for your ice cream. Choose what is in the container or they will mix combinations for you. My favorite is their Coffee flavor.

Just had the worst customer service experience. I was pleasant, patient, checked the time to make it wasnt near closing and even tipped. I was handed a running ice cream with no napkins. When I asked for napkins, the server placed them on the counter instead of in my hands so now Im sticky. I know it doesnt mean much to their company but I dont plan to return.

The waffles were stale and the girl who works there doesnt even smile and seems like she is miserable. We didnt even get our money back for the stale waffle they just said okay. We had to throw it away. Didnt even tell us about their manager. We will not come here ever again and this was our favorite place to come to.

Rude teenagers talking on their phones while taking your order. They dont say hello, just act like your bothering them. They sit on the counters on their phones. Touch their phones and then dont wash their hands or use gloves. Very unsanitary. Wont be back
