I came in today to purchase a mattress and it was a wonderful experience! I had gone earlier to a different place and felt so pressured but as soon as I came into Red Tag Furniture I felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience! Keith was so friendly and down to earth and helped us every step of the way find the perfect mattress! I’d definitely recommend coming here for all of your furniture needs!

My daughters room was damaged due to the winter freeze. Went to the 1960 store to purchase new furniture for her and I had an awesome experience. The only problem I had was that my furniture didn’t come in when they told me it would. I went to pick it up and it wasn’t there!! It was still in route. I was a bit disappointed, because they said they would call me when it got there. I didn’t want to make a second trip, but thanks to Curt and Jennie, they rerouted my furniture to my house the same day!! Free!! Thanks!

On July 22, 2020, we bought a bed frame and coffee table and due to hard COVID times and delays, we were understanding when the delivery was made on August 24th. As the bed was being assembled, one of the side rails chipped so we were told to call the store to have it replaced. This process has now dragged on to today, February 9, 2021, when the rail was finally replaced. Over the past five months weve heard, Ill call you back soon, call me tomorrow, the shipment should be here soon, were experiencing delays, and our favorite the wrong set was ordered. We have months of frustrations to express but long story short, this was the worst furniture purchase and we will look onto other stores in the future.

Excellent customer service, attention to detail and they even have an app that allows you to see where the truck is!What’s not to like?

One star is probably too much. As previous comments by other customers you get treated great while there but as soon as you pay, even told when you pick out that it wouldn’t take but a few days to get they would call Monday and set up delivery. Guess what no call and now the run around about status. Promises to call back and never do . This vendor they do SOO much business with they claim they can’t get ahold of on status. Don’t go there now I gotta fight to get my money back.

They tell you that you will get the box spring that goes with the exact mattress that you pick out. & then they call you on the day of delivery and tell you that your box spring is back ordered and offer you a generic box spring & offer to “throw in a mattress protector”. When I went in I told them I did not want a generic box spring as they had did this same thing to my mom years ago and the representative is like no you will definitely get the one that goes with your mattress even went as far as showing me pictures. However delivery day come and now it’s “back ordered” you mean to tell me they just found that out on the day it was supposed to be delivered? Nonsense. Also they say they will replace your mattress under a 10 year warranty for whatever reason as long as it doesn’t have any stains, hence why they would want to give you a cheaper box spring and “throw in a mattress protector”. Find another place. However, I LOVE MY MATTRESS, but if you’re going to spend your money somewhere, do it at a place with some integrity.

I came to this place expecting the best .... but the worst that I could find in furniture. I bought a mattress that I have a month of having it is used by my 10-year-old son who does not weigh 100 pounds and after 15 days he is sagging and I bought the base that was delivered to me, broken in the corner and dirty. They agreed to change it that they would call me that same day in the afternoon and until now a month and a half later I am waiting. I arrived and the very angry lady told me that I had to wait because I only wanted perfect things, but I said of course that yes, Im paying for something new and not used !!!!! its the worst i could find

If I could give a zero I would. This place seems to be in habit of scamming its customers. The bedroom set agreed upon arrived missing the dresser. According to them it got damaged in the warehouse. After following up with them for a week and listening to their lies realized they were just stringing me along. Please if you have been scammed by these people use your legal resources available, no customer deserves to have their hard earn money stolen.

Buying from this place, Katy location, has been a nightmare to me. I just would like to say...stay away from this place. They lie to you and after you sign the contract they dont care. They delivered only part of the Furniture and they have been telling me the rest is arriving in a few days . I have waited for more than a month with my mattress on the floor and they dont allow me to cancell my contract. Stay away from this place, specifically from Beverly.

Red Tag Mattress and Furniture in Katy is a wonderful store. Beverly was AMAZING to work with. She is so patient, knowledgeable about her products and designs, and understandable. She spend time with her customers and listens what they want. Since losing everything in the flood, I furnished my entire house with her. I am a very pleased and happy customer. Went to the Katy location on 02/26 after looking online and gathering several item numbers of furniture that I wanted to possibly get if it looked as good as it did on the site. Talked to Beverly she attempted to pull up the items that I asked about but quickly stated most were not available in the store and some were discontinued (the couch). The website stated all the items I looked at were in stock and available. Beverly then showed me several furniture sets in a catalog which I again asked to see something similar about the same size or something because I was really worried about not being able to see what I would commit to buying. Beverly assured me that the size and quality I wanted would be good. Long story short, delivery happened Friday night, Im fine with the bedroom items but the love seat and chair are definitely not worth 750 dollars. Looks like little small light weight toy furniture that you can get at Walmart for 80-90 dollars. I called at 10am Saturday when the store opened and talked to Hilda and called back and talked to Kirk. Waited all day and still have not got a call back from Beverly. At this point I just want to return the loveseat and chair. I took it apart and stacked it in the corner. I will be returning it, definitely not worth the price I paid and not what I asked for.

Good buying experience while at the store, not so much after. Had couple issues with my order and when I would call to check on the status of my delivery, I got promised calls back and answers that I never received. You would think they’d call their customers to update them if their orders got delayed, but instead i was calling them to follow up numerous times. Don’t seem to have a good structure on the business and how to handle it. Such poor customer service. Horrible customer experience. Had everything been handled differently my experience would be 100% different but rather than making it better, they were determined to make it worse.They became attentive to my order as soon as I lost my patience. Would not recommend!

This bedroom set was our third major purchase from Red Tag Furniture. They made us good deal on high quality furniture and the mattress is perfect. I visited the Red Tag location at 6476 FM 1960 may I add an awesome business sales personnel very helpful, Store Manager was hands on during the sale. I stopped in looking for an item they didn’t have it on the store room floor, quickly the young lady gave me a seat and I sat at the computer and I found what I was looking for at a great -and of course a cheaper price. The paper work was done I paid for it, they assured me it would be in the following week, it was in that week I received a phone call then went to pick it up, I’m a very satisfied customer.

My wife and moved into a new home and were looking a couch and chair. We stopped in at Red Tag and were greeted by Nancy. She asked a few questions about our style and what we are interested in. We picked out a few items then showed her a photos of the room the couch would go in. She immediately recommended which pieces to get. After ten days the items were delivered and we are extremely happy. We will definitely purchase more items from Nancy and Red Tag.

For the FM1960 locationOverall, I enjoyed my shopping experience. The owner and the warehouse team made getting ny mattress home easy. I had originally planned on driving it myself but it began to down pour rain, so they fit me into their schedule and didnt charge me the full delivery fee. Would be 5 stars, except while helpful and pleasant, the in store staff could have been more attentive, and they told me the warehouse would help me tie up my mattress, which i found out later is in fact against their policy

The mattresses we purchased are better quality than the ones from other furniture stores in the area. Curt and Jennie worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and at a great price. One lady theyre allowed us to come in as they were supposed to be closed, and spent over an hour with us helping us pick our furniture from catalogs. Curt refused to call me back to explain why me delivery was late. Customer service is non-existent.Do not give these guys your business; you will lose your patience, your sleep and your money at the end.

Curt was great. Offered us a deal on a bedroom set and box spring. Even though we didnt buy the set. Went back for the box spring, of course the price was different because we werent buying the set. My husband and I went in this past Saturday on accident. We originally were just looking for a twin mattress. They ended up having what we were looking for at a very low price ($129). Thats cheap compared to the mattress($499), gallery furniture was trying to sell us to go with the twin bed we bought from them. Anyway we started browsing and saw a brown leather sectional and coffee table that looked super classy. It turned out to be sooo cheap too, again, compared to other stores! We couldnt pass on the offer. Gracie worked with us and they even dropped the price for everything we purchased. We paid it all at once, so more discounts are a plus. Well, we set up delivery for Tuesday and went home satisfied with our purchase. I ended up looking online and saw such negative reviews, so i browsed online to make sure we really were getting a good deal. Turned out the sectional was going for an even cheaper price on another website ($230 less). The next day we talked to Gracie and asked if they could just throw in the $200 end table that matched the coffee table to make up for what we couldve bought the sectional for. They honored it just like she had told us from the get go. The delivery was also a breeze. Curt kept us posted on the ETA the whole time. His guys came in, set everything up and were out within 15min. We truly had no issues with this store or their staff. Gracie was friendly, honest and did exactly what she told us she would do. BEWARE of this Fraud businessI took an unfortunate decision to order a bed room set and a dining bench from this store on 9/7/19. The order was upward to 5K and I decided to finance my order with the understanding that I will get my delivery within 2 weeks and my liability of the loan will start after I get the products in the desired conditions. As of today, 11/11 I have not yet received any products, they have already recognized the revenue and the finance company is after me to start paying the amount plus late transaction. Based on the last conversation I had with Beverley, the fraud sales person I was dealing with, they want me to start paying the amount without committing a date for the products to be delivered. She is also asking us to take an inferior products which is not our choice as a replacement for the product we ordered. Based on the options given, I asked them to cancel my order but after the promise that they will do the needful, they start ignoring my calls. So at the end I am 5k poorer with no products and no communication from the storePlease do yourself a favor and run away from the business. Buying at bigger store will cost you more but at least you have a piece of mind. Red Tag and the sales person Beverley are fraud and will deceive you.
