We ordered a custom couch from Bassett in Princeton. It took 16 weeks to get to us and we understand the lead time and was notified. We spent around $4K on this couch. It is a great piece when we received it. 6 to 8 weeks using it the cushions are flattening. I tried plumping my cushions and rotating too. I went to Basseett for quality and very disappointed with this. I called customer service and they told me this is not covered under warranty. Very disappointed with quality

Timmy Miller was by far the best furniture sales rep I’ve come into contact with. He wasn’t even a sales rep, he was a living room designer based on my experience with him. Would highly recommend going here and asking for him. He laid our 4 different living room floor plans, gave us ideas we could never imagine, and a discount of 30% off! Extremely happy with my visit.

One of the nicest furniture stores in the area. Every piece is beautifully displayed and paired with the perfect accent furniture. The staff are warm and helpful with an in-depth knowledge of fabrics, colors and prices.

Poor customer service. I was told that we would receive frequent updates on the status, never received unless I reached out. I was told we would get our furniture inside of 12 weeks, looks like it will be 16 now. Did anyone call to update us? Nope. Never again. This is expensive furniture, one expects incredible service when paying a premium.

Walmart has better customer service that these guys. Don’t waste your money your time here. Would not recommend at all.

Will promise anything to get the sale. Made it difficult to return or cancel orders after informing us that shipping will be delayed. Ultimately sent us the wrong item which we refused to accept. I don’t know when I will expect the item now. Not what you would like to deal with when moving to a new home. Would not shop at Bassett again.

Vicky Lyon was super helpful in designing our new den and adding pieces to our main living area and bedroom. Her colors, textures and designs were an instant match and the colors coordinate throughout the home. She even gave us suggestions for art galleries. We finally feel like our home is a total package. Highly recommend!

Do not do business with... The worst experience buying furniture. Do not spend money with this company. We bought $15k worth of furniture, including a table and chair set worth $4500. All of the furniture is poorly done, the paint started to wear off and chip off out table in the first six months. It took us three months of begging to give us what we paid for and make it right. They finally did it and the same problem started happening within couple of months.

Beautiful furniture and top notch serviceA little over a year ago, my husband and I visited Bassett Furniture and fell in love with a sectional. One of the associates was kind enough to let us know that there was a sale coming up and advised us to come back then. The staff was so helpful in assisting us with our purchase and offering suggestions for materials. We have received so many compliments on the sectional. We recently decided to extend the sectional and add another piece. I was happy to find that I could do so online. The next day, I received a call from an associate in the KOP store who advised that they were processing our order and wanted to let us know that the standard material had changed and that there would be an additional charge to match the material of our sectional. (How many places would have just shipped me what I ordered without noticing I was ordering it to go with a piece I ordered over a year ago?) After a couple calls back and forth while I considered my options, she informed me that she was able to call around and find enough material to complete my order and that they wouldnt have to charge an additional amount. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Bad quality furniture and terrible customer service.

The sales staff is very nice, and there are lots of options. Just dont get anything custom unless you really, REALLY know what you want. Custom stuff cant be returned and you could end up with a very expensive mistake. Seems Im stuck with mine 😕

My fiance and I were shopping for a new couch and went to 3 other stores in addition to Bassett, which was superior in service, quality, and overall experience. We worked with both Kim and Amyann (store manager) and were impressed with both. Kim has interior decorating experience and was helpful in suggesting timeless fabrics and furniture styles that were worth investing in. Amyann was great with helping with logistics and assisted us while Kim was helping another customer. We will return for future furniture purchases!

Nice showroom and staff. Huge drawback is furniture delivery time!! 4-6 weeks!! We ordered a bed and were informed that because it was already in warehouse we could get it in 2 weeks! Is the warehouse in TX?? Anyway, we got it and they had wrong footboard. A queen instead of a king. Im thinking simple fix, go to warehouse and get proper piece, maybe a few days max. Nooo, 2 1/2 weeks later, they finally brought correct piece.Store people kept blaming warehouse for delay. This was not a custom order. And we were told it was in stock and ready to go. Also, they use a 3rd party delivery service.Learned my lesson, never again with Bassett. Mealeys and Raymour & Flanigan offer much better delivery and sometimes at no cost. Bassett also CHARGES you to wait!! No thanks!
