Went there twice this week with problems. 1st time the little bald guy who checked me in made feel stupid cause I didnt know that you only needed to change the Sim card to activate my new phone that was given to me. The second day was much better thanks to Zack who assisted me with my bad sims card. I couldnt receive texts, and he spent a good 30 minutes trying everything he could to solve my problem, but the sims card was bad. Thanks Zack. Your a pleasure to deal with.

I give it a four because I had to go there three times I had better service online with the tech coach for the most part that people there know their job and are very friendly it was an upgrade to my phone that caused the aggravation not the people at the store having with Verizon since I was 16 and it was Bell Atlantic stayed when it went to Nyext or however you spell it its been a long time and have been with Verizon which is a part of it all Thank you Verizon VB✌🏽

Over the top, excellent service by Manager Amy and her wonderful staff. We had a problem with our E-Talk Verizon flip phone which needed to be replaced. Amy is a whiz at transferring contacts for the flip phone and was very helpful in the whole process. Overall, the service was incredibly fast and professional. Thank you Kingston Verizon Wireless!

When I went there a couple of weeks ago for my battery, the gentleman didnt help me but did something to my phone and added the NCF feature without telling me. Well that ate up the battery more, so much it wasnt taking the charge. It made my phone not take any charges and drained it more. When I went there yesterday, the other gentleman saw it was the battery and since I have insurance sent me a new phone. Be careful who is helping you and make sure they do as asked and nothing more.

Due to Covid19, my mom had been trying since the beginning of May to resolve a billing issue with customer service over the phone. Although she had been reassured numerous times by several different reps that the issue was resolved, she found herself paying a significant increase on her bill each month...That is until today when we met Amy at the Kingston store. Amy was able to not only fix the issue in my moms favor, but found an even better plan to save her additional money. Clearly Amy went out of her way to help my mom. I appreciate the fantastic customer service and will not hesitate to go back to the Kingston store again. Amy is absolutely an asset to the team at Verizon!

The customer service at this store is great!! Cory helped me with transferring service from another company. His goal was on finding ways to help me save as much as possible. Cory worked with the General Manager, Joe, to get us a great deal on a our phones, service, and accessories. They provided exceptional customer service, while still being personable and engaging. I highly recommend this store, and Cory specifically.

Your store is a rip off you dont give proper costumer service. The phone lens cover broke while putting it on. Cause your people could not be bothered to put it on for my wife. Were out $50 but I will taking it of our monthly bill. If you dont like it get rid of robotic answering and put the lens cover on after all thats what your paid for.

The customer service is great. Isaac helped me with transferring service from another company. His goal was on finding ways to help me save as much as possible and I was able to get a great deal on a great phone and service. He searched for savings, deals, and promotions and provided me with all the options. He was completely engaged with me and didnt allow distractions. He himself earned the 5 star rating. If the other staff are this good, the store well deserves the rating as well. Great training and attention to customers wants and needs without being pushy or trying to talk me into anything.

Needed to get my phone unlocked and the person who stops you at the door was not at all helpful. Was told that because I didnt buy the phone there that there was nothing they could do. Very rude in my opinion. Dont recommend this store to anyone.

I would give zero stars if possible. I came in with a very simple request. I wanted a new iPhone. I knew exactly what phone I wanted, as well as how much storage. The sales representative tried to sell me on different phones, and told me I didn’t need as much as storage I was asking for. When I finally was able to convince him I know what product I want to buy, he made me wait for 30 minutes to take the phone off the shelf in the storage room. He then came out with the wrong phone and had to go back. Luckily this time it only took 10 minutes. After this he tried to sell me on a basket full of overpriced accessories that I don’t want and I didn’t ask for. He would not take no for an answer. Overall the experience was excruciating. Getting a new phone is often exciting, but here it’s only exciting when you finally get to leave!

I went to buy an iPhone and the agent brought out the HUM service. I did not ask for it, nor was I asked if I wanted it. I asked what it was and what the cost was. I was told it was a tracking device and was free. I was skeptical about the free and asked two more times if this was true. I was told it was free. Then I got my first bill and it was not free. It is $5 per month. I went to return the device and was charged a restocking fee of $35 and $120 because I did not do so within 14 days. Had I been told the truth about this device, I would have never agreed to take it. I have contacted the store manager by email as I believe I should be refunded $160 as it was sold to me without fulling disclosing the truth about the product. However, the manager has not returned my email or attempted to get in touch with me. UPDATE: The manager of this store contacted me and refunded me my money. I am very grateful for her attention to this matter.

I went in there today to upgrade to the iPhone X. The sales representative who helped me kept trying to push me into buying unnecessary accessories that I repeatedly said I did not need. When he tried to talk me into buying the protection plan on the phone, I explained that my parents are the ones who pay for my phone. I did not want to rank their bill even higher than it already was, and agreed to pay the $41.99 a month for the phone to them monthly. He threw an insult at me saying I was a “big boy” and should pay for my own phone. I understand that the company might push them to selling their phone cases or whatever else, but you shouldn’t resort to insults because you’re mad that I’m not taking your bait. Very unprofessional and douchey. You don’t know my financial situation. Anyway, I will not be buying another phone at this Verizon store. I used to go to the one in the Hudson Valley mall before it closed down, and they were always so much better. NEVER AGAIN.

Do not patronize this store. After waiting over an hour to be helped, we had already decided to purchase the iPhone x and iPhone 8. We were then assigned to a salesman named Patrick, who refused to answer our questions about the new phones, and refused to transfer our information from our old phones. He then told us that we were getting a great deal because we were getting $270.00 in accessories for free. We tried to tell him that we did not need these things, but he insisted that they were free. We ignorantly assumed that the $575.00 we were being charged was a down payment on the new phones. He then gave us instructions on how to transfer our own information at home, telling us it would take just a short time. We discovered a few days later that our receipt had been stapled to the back of all of the instructions. That is when we realized that we had been charged $270.00 for the accessories we did not need, and charged $30.00 each for an upgrade that he omitted to tell us about. He was one of the most dishonest and deceitful salesmen I had ever encountered at that store. Until, of course, I met the manager Mark when I returned most of the accessory items. Mark was not only rude, but undeservedly arrogant. Buyer beware! Lying Patrick never mentioned we were getting bundle prices on the accessories, because according him, these were free. However, Mark, the manager of the month, informed us that we had to pay more for the two accessories we were keeping, and our refund would include the real prices, since these were no longer bundled. I made a formal complaint with the main office of Verizon Wireless, who assured me that these practices were certainly dishonest, and they would be addressed. Do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I bought a new Samsung phone, and Google Nest Hub since Ive fallen a few times.! They helped me with everything! They moved all the info from one phone over to the new, as I had no Wi-fi at home! I took in 2 old flip phones and they cleared those, so now someone who needs a phone can get one! Seeing as how Im not very tech savvy, these guys were very knowledgable ( had my kids with me to help too,) courteous and respectful and it was a learning experience for me! Im pleased with my phone and I now listen to music at night!A very productive day!

There service was terrible. Asked why i get dropped calls and dont recieve my messages for hours, considering that they are suppose to be the best. Was told to call tech support. So when i really wasnt getting anywhere i asked what was owed to cancel service. A manager came over and was rude and unprofessional. I was given another 800 number to call. Called the number and waited forever to try and talk with someone. Needless to say i am totally unhappy with verizon and i am done with them.

Fast service. Zack got me more data for no more money. The Kingston, NY store is far superior to the Newburgh, NY store. Newburgh sold me an Asus Zenpad that crapped in 3 days. Then had the nerve to charge me a restocking fee when I didnt want to replace it. Lousy customer service and Id never send anyone there. Go to the Kingston, NY store if you choose Verizon Wireless!!!

Staff is incredibly pushy, tried to hard sell me on as many accessories as possible while obscuring what any of it would actually cost. I know I got ripped off and could have bought the exact same case and screen protector for $25 cheaper bare minimum. I spent overall about 15 minutes in the store for the purchase of an $1100 device. On the one hand this may sound good becuase they were so fast - but they were only so fast because they were extremely pushy and clearly working on commission when selling accessories. Little to nothing was explained to me about the TWO YEAR CONTRACT I SIGNED to pay for this phone on a payment plan. I was not told anything about what my payments would be or the terms of this payment plan. I was charged a $30 upgrade few which is utter nonsense as all they are doing is remotely activating a new SIM card. It is ridiculous the way they rush through such a large purchase clearly trying to get you to spend as much as possible with hard sell tactics and then get you out of the store before you can even register how messed up that experience was. I’m really unhappy with this experience and will never be setting foot inside this Kingston Verizon store again because of it.

I went to this Verizon store to upgrade my phone (s) and had a terrible experience. It was a very long wait time to actually talk to someone and then when I did the sales guy was pushy and pressuring me to get things I wasnt interested in. He talked me into getting the HUM device because he said they were running a special (against my better judgment) which he said would cost me nothing. He said it would not cost me a dime. I have been charged every month since then, and when I realized this I went back to the store and they said they couldnt do anything and that it would cost me $175 to break the contract. They were patronizing and rude. Totally unacceptable. Feeling really low about Verizon right now and i have been a long time customer.

Considering this is the only Verizon store in Kingston other than the small *Verizon hub* in the mall, there is no other place to go when facing issues with your phone or your plan. That being said my family and I have been to this Verizon store multiple times and have been displeased over and over. From rude and obnoxious sales reps to being forced to wait to be seen for over an hour we have overall have very unpleasant experiences here

Went to the store this morning and talked Isaac (who said he was new, this should have been a clue to me) who told me I could transfer my kids cell phones from straight talk to verizon. Also told me a deal i could get for the new samsung phone I wanted. Said id come back this afternoon to do the whole deal. I grab kids, their phones, show up at 345 and it took them TWO HOURS to transfer two phone lines. And then..when I went to do my phone upgrade, Im told that Oh Im sorry that phone isnt available till tomorrow. What?!?! Why wasnt I told that in this morning? I would have waited till another day to come in and do all these transfers. Isaac told me he didnt know. I call shenanigans. So my question is this: if the phone isnt available till tomorrow, then how is it I was playing with the same phone on Monday at work, because my friend had it already. Hmmm??? Terrible terrible customer service. I wish there were other verizon stores we could go to in our town. Id go to AT&T but they are just as bad. I suppose its pick your poison when it comes to cell phones. Travel to another store folks. This one sucks.

It is impossible to get ahold of them on their phone to actually speak to a person. I tried 5 times. It is even more impossible to try to get ahold of the Verizon International phone number for the USA but ill leave that for another time ;) Our server was great when we were there. He was the best part of it. Everything else, the wait times, even though we had scheduled an appointment was crazy long! Oi e vay- phone companies are nuts!

It was my second time to the Kingston Verizon store. On Sunday they do something to their system so 2 hours wasted. I had to return to fix a transfer, overcharge on my credit card with my handwritten note from the Solution specialist from the day before explaining what needed to be done! When I returned the next night I was greeted by another Solution specialist Craig from Kingston was not empathetic after I explained that two hours the day before and my handwritten note from the other specialist and charges for I dont know what and still I do not have what I need done to start a new account. He sarcastically kept saying I dont know you he handed me off to a new young man and I spent the next hour and a half on the phone setting up my account and correcting my credit card overcharge. Poor, poor customer service and their Solution specialist Craig needs more training in customer service very unprofessional. Jasmine in the transfer office was very curtious and was eventually able to correct the Kingston blunder. So if you go to the Kingston Verizon be prepared to be insulted and overcharged. Worst customer service ever!
