This place is too cool. Their bean roaster can be seen in the back...and the staff seemed full of energy. I had the Kenya roast, black. When it arrived, it was the perfect hot temperature for drinking and it was delicious.

Lovely hidden gem! My husband and I stopped by here for breakfast while on a road trip, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! This coffee roaster definitely knows what they are doing and they do it well. The interior is unique and very bright, with lots of seating options and windows. Their cortado is by far the best one I’ve had in Louisiana and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality coffee shop in Louisiana!

A great coffee shop! We loved the drip coffee offered today (with free refills) & their latte with the homemade vanilla flavor shot was not only delicious, but beautifully made. Perfect vibe & spacing in the cafe, as well. Will definitely swing by here again whenever I find myself traveling throughout Lafayette.

Great local coffee spot, with speedy service and friendly staff. Cappuccino was perfect, big portions for breakfast and they have local craft beer on tap.

Updated 7/24: The barista that took my order was as sweet as can be, answered all my questions and was providing phenomenal service. Unfortunately the barista that was making my drinks had a poor attitude upon her being asked to correct an error she had made while making my beverages. The issue was not the error but the lack of desire from the barista to want to correct the error. It all went south from there and I sadly left with a bad taste in my mouth because I was really looking forward to supporting a local shop. I have now since spoken with the manager about the situation and I truly appreciate the solution we came up with to remedy the experience. I look forward to returning to the store and trying out their coffee because the cafe space is inviting and the micro-roaster concept is intriguing.Additional request: I hope they start stocking Heavy Whipping Cream.

The standard for excellence in the Lafayette coffee scene. The quality experience that you will receive is unlike any other in the area. Everyone working on the other end of the bar is experienced and considerate, the space is open with lots of great lighting, and the espresso that comes out of their Slayer is top notch! I visit other coffee shops in the area, but this is certainly my go to as well as the place I would most highly recommend.

This is easily the best coffee shop in Lafayette! I would personally say that they don’t even have much of a rival in Louisiana until you head into New Orleans (unless you count their second/third location). Their espresso is fantastic regardless of what kind of drink you have it in. Their menu hasn’t changed much as far as their signature drinks go, but what they have on their is all worth exploring. Their customer service is on point! On top of it all, the space is an excellent spot to either hang out with friends or get work done. It is the best place downtown where to work. One really focuses with the right sounds, atmosphere and coffee. It is a total immersive experience.

If youre looking for a quiet environment with decent staff and killer coffee, its the place for you. There are all the usual options with coffee, and then some interesting takes on it as well. As per the norm, there are of course a good bit of options regarding milk, sugar/sweetener, and indoor or outdoor seating.

Worth the 1hr+ drive from Morgan City. So glad this place is here. 10/10

This employee that looked like a marshmallow almost sent me and my gf to our deaths at the local gas station because we couldnt use the restroom. 200% would not recommend. In response to the owner we did purchase two coffees and still couldnt use the bathroom. The place he sent us to didnt have a bathroom and we were inappropriately approached and we felt threatened. It was the gas station and repair shop not more than. .25 miles away. You know the one sir. Instead of helping you sent us that way. Not cool

Im writing this review after a few years of coming here. Whenever I first started coming here, I didnt like the coffee at all. I felt that it was too dark and the flavor wasnt for me.Since then, the coffee had gotten significantly better. I enjoy the coffee at various spots they serve it too.Im knocking one star off due to the service. During my latest visit, they put my nitro coffee on the counter and barely spoke loud enough for me to hear that it was done. I can deal with that. But, the thing that really made me sad to see was whenever they forgot about my friends green tea while it steeped. 8:27 was the time it went for.I still think its a great place to get coffee, but the service is hit and miss.

It was okay, but not especially fresh or too strong. Maybe too much milk.It was ok, but I will probably go back to that other coffee shop down the street from here next time. Either way Im going to spend about $6.50(w/ tip) on a coffee.Update. ...Im feeling that 4th shot now. Its definitely a quad espresso.

We were just driving through Lafayette on our way to New Orleans and wanted to support a small business and this was our choice for our afternoon coffee! I got a mocha, my husband got an Iced Lavender Latte with Macadamia milk and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere but we didnt stay, had to get back on the road!

Excellent coffee house with a nice industrial flair. Free WiFi internet for customers. Has more charm than a CC’s or Starbucks. Can get crowded sometimes with attorneys. Bankruptcy court is next door.

This is really a nice coffee shop, but verbally soliciting tips from every customer just seems so rude. I cant think of any other business that actually asks customers for tips on the spot out loud.Really rubbed me the wrong way, though I suspect verbal solicitation leads to a higher number of customers tipping as they know most people are ashamed to say no.

Perfect little coffee shop, but on the more expensive side if you want a little more specialty type drink and a snack. Food is delicious and flavors are phenomenal.They DONT have Sugarfree which is a huge concern for me as that limits what some people who enjoy coffee but cant have excessive sugar can have. If they had it, this would be a 4.5 star review easily.Otherwise, the coffee was great, the space was clean and refined and the service was top notch.

Went here to meet up with a friend that I hadnt seen in quite a long time and absolutely loved this place! The coffee was great and the food that I ordered was extremely delicious! I will definitely be making my way back to try more of the incredible food.

Rude service and very slow service. Also the sugar they have is wayyy too chuncky and gross to be put into coffe. No napkins in sight. Alnost got left by the bus because their service is slow. They are overly priced for this teeny tiny cup that takes them forever to make. Also not much of a variety. Wouldnt recommend, youre better off going to starbucks where at least the expensive coffee is worth it and tastes good!

It’s always nice when traveling cross-country and you stop in for breakfast and the baristas know their stuff and more importantly the roasters do too. The turkey panini was so good. Banana bread delicious!! And We played cards w the kids!! Stopped in on a Saturday morning The staff seemed attentive and friendly- bonus!!

A local coffee rooster which does amazing coffee to order as well as sell bagged coffee. All the staff is experts at their craft. They are helpful and friendly. Even if you arent really sure on what you are ordering or how to order it they will work with you and help you where you feel comfortable and happy with your final product. If you arent a professional coffee drinking or even if you are this small shop will definitely make an impact that will be positive and life changing.

Coffee was good here. I had the nitro cold brew. It was a little bitter for my taste and not as smooth as other cold brews I have had, but still a good coffee. I also had a blueberry muffin that was delicious. They have a nice vibe going on inside the cafe too, which made for a good workspace for the few hours I spent here.

They did a nice job keeping the integrity of the original structure. I wish they had more seating. Coffee drinks are unique to Rêve and delicious. Pastries are yummy, too.This isnt a chain coffee place, be prepared to wait a little for your orders. ✌🏻

Great place to hang out and study. Sometimes the smell of the beans roasting is pretty strong, but definitely adds to the experience. Their black coffee is well caffeinated, so approach with caution. All of their creations are worth a try as well.

The nitro coffee was strong and stout, but delicious. It definitely put some pep in my step, and the sausage biscuit was the best Id ever had! You could taste the maple syrup baked into the biscuit. Very trendy, very chic.

A very modern and stylish coffee shop set in a historic building. Great window seating, lots of natural light, pleasant and knowledgeable staff (with good taste in music!) Theyve got good food (breakfast burrito for the win) and a diverse tea selection.My only complaints are that it is sometimes hard find parking during the day, and sometimes too busy to get a seat inside.

One of most unpleasant times at a coffee shop in a long time. One pour over and one latte took over 20 min to make. Staff was hanging out with friends rather than working. Nice building and location though.

This coffee shop is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, the espresso is very yummy, and i visit here every time i visit lafayette because i love it so much. BUT the baristas are so rude. not one time have i ever been treated right, and it always seems to be the girl in the glasses.

This place is what you think of when you hear hipster coffee shopThere are a lot of great aesthetics that produce a pleasant atmosphere, as well as a great selection of coffees and teas that are delivered in mugs that compliment the atmosphere. It also has the typical coffee shop necessities: outlets, wifi, seating with tables, etc.Its also conveniently downtown with lots of windows to view the street!Also a bonus: Theres boards games like scrabble or cards that you can just pick up and play if youre in the mood for it.

Really liked the atmosphere and staff but the iced coffee was quite bitter.

The team there seemed to genuinely enjoy making quality coffee - and they do it well. My wife also enjoyed their home-made quality pastries (and she ain’t easy to please!).

Best coffee we had on our last trip down. Roasted on site with pour over service. Its not fast but its delicious. It was also the only place in Lafayette with decent vegan pastries.
