I purchased my first wig so I had no clue. The gal was very helpful letting me know everything I needed also she was so patient, considerate and helpful as I went through so many choices and for that I am extremely grateful and came home feeling grateful and beautiful with what I came home with. A big plus is that the prices and quality of the wigs are so amazing and affordable. So much so that I’m going back for more more & more. Thank you Genesis

My daughter’s debit card was stolen and used here. It was a $100 charge. Clearly an ID was not checked for use of this card. Hopefully this doesn’t happen often. This has been reported to the police.

Employees are nice not very experienced in the wig department. I bought a full lace wig cost $600 plus tax I thought it was good hair but looks can be deceiving so I asked the lady if it sheds a lot or is there any problems with the wig she said no and normal wig shedding. I asked her if it was 100% Brazilian hair she said yes so I was kind of sold and bought it I went home and opened up the package the front label said Bobbi boss 100% remy human hair tht hair is only $20 to $50 a bundle I got played and there is no refund my wig is so dry, it sheds ALOT, the lady said it was all 30 inch only the back was 30 inch the other hair in the front was way shorter, etc I find new things everyday. Also while brushing it after washing it gets very tangled, the wig cap ripped in half while I was brushing it it’s only been about 5 months I keep trying to tweek it . I’m very disappointed ! Ladies but a cheap wig I swear they are the same quality or just dnt buy expensive wigs from here total rip off. I should’ve left when the lady told me they make the wigs themselves... it shows .

So far my girlfriend loves to shop at this place They seem to be real friendly So we will continue to go there

The ONLY reason i am even giving it two stars is because the Hispanic girl noticed that the black girl was ignoring me and being very rude an only helping black customers. I was getting frustrated because i asked for help from the black girl and she had an attitude the Hispanic girl came over and helped me and was VERY friendly. I wish i got their names but sadly i didnt see a name tag. I love to support our small businesses but with that one girls attitude just made me want to go to Salleys

Very disappointed today I went into the store on the first of September one on the employees told me that the blow dryer Combs are one size fit all so I trusted that. then when I tried it on my blow dryer while in the process of blow drying my hair it kept coming off my blow dryer and would not stay on. so I went in to see if I can exchange it the employee asked the supervisor an she said yes you can exchange it so my intent was to buy an electric hot comb when I went to pay the difference I was a dollar short so my friend went to the car too get more money the employee told me oh hold on she went back to the supervisor an said u sure we can return this she used it. then the supervisor came an told me oh no we cant exchange your item after she said yes in the beginning when I told her when trying to blow dry my hair in the process it would not fit so I had to use it to see that it was too big. she still refused to do my exchange after she said yes the first time. I will definitely not support this business anymore an forsure you have lost a customer thanks for the poor customer service after trusting an employee telling me the hair blow dryer comb is one size fit all and she did not even recommended I bring my blow dryer in to check

One of the cleanest beauty supplies in Lancaster ca. Very punctual and its easy to locate and get advice on the items you purchase. I love that they know who I am when I walk in the recognize me and my girls and know exactly what we were coming in for. If you need a change of beauty supplies this is the place!-bronella

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Came here for the LA Girl Pro Concealer and they have a bin of testers and the conealers under the counter. $3.99 each. Great experience will definitely be buying my concealer from here from now on.

Genesis beauty supply has unprofessional workers their bad customer service. The owner just want to make money off a black people have no respect for black people or customer service. I think the store should be boycott it and no one should support the store because the owner is not for her customers. The owner have employees that bully the customers talk about the customers in salt the them. Most of all the owner has a employee whose her manager who brother tried to blow up our Lancaster school an do harm to our children.

This is one of the few places that carry black hair care products supposedly in the Antelope Valley, but they dont have what you need a lot of the time. They are helpful with coordinating with the other stores to get what you need IF they have it. But its always a dissapointing visit. And the customer service is not very good overall.

I was told great customer service yah somewhat. I was told the worker grabbed the right hair. Glad I checked te bag before I left the store. Of course it was wrong. I used my card they charge damn near a dollar since it was user s certain amount. I was refunded besides the extra charge tat was charged to my card. Walk into Genesis store today the girls in the front one that goes by Ashley didn’t greet or ask me and my sister if we needed any help in the store they just started at us and made us feel unwelcome coming in. Worst customer service ever.

Very rude and disrespectful! This place use to be awesome in 2010-2014 . After that I have no clue what happened. I think the change with new staff! I always say Im not coming back but when in the area I always give it a try. But this is the last time. Genesis has lost a customer and more due to bad customer service.

The workers are terrible, everytime i go in here they have an attiutude, they have such a big problem assisting you. i tried 3 different times to come in and every single time they put me im a horrible mood. never giving this place another chance.

They have a lot of options and are reasonably priced.

They always close early. If the are due to close at 7pm they close really at 6:50pm. Then if they see you walking towards the door they will ignore you. That is not good for business. When you ask for a manager or someone in charge to address this issue they act like it do not matter and they do not care. Sallys is a little more expensive but the customer service is better. Its worth the extra few dollars.

I dont recommend this place for the dishonesty about their products. I recently bought this product called Gi Gi all purpose honee to remove unwanted hair. My skin was extremely irritated plus it was sticky and it stayed in my face for the an entire day because it doesnt come out with soap and water. I dont trust this place for the simple reason that the girl who sold me the product was just trying to sell and not care about having a long lasting customer.
