I used to shop at this location and loved the customer service. Recently, however, the Chinese staff is snippy, unhelpful, and rude. The guy who I asked for help refused to answer any of my questions and went on to express how he doesn’t like ‘our kind’ in the stores. I see all of the bad reviews on here but this beauty supply is right down the street from me and I’ve been going here for YEARS and I have never had a bad experience. The owner and the employees are always helpful. Anything I’m looking for, they tell me exactly what aisle to go on. The owner has even went to the back of the store to look for something for me that wasn’t on the shelf.

I spent a lot of money on wigs here and I should have learned after the first lace front (cheaply made) ripped after about 4 uses. I went back and all the lace fronts I had to throw in the trash. They either got tangled or ripped. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

This store does not care about their customers. When I went to check out I asked if my 2 year old, newly potty trained daughter and I could use the restroom and I was told that they have no restroom. That is insensitive and mean. I understand that people steal, etc, but I had my merchandise right there at the counter. If they are going to treat me like that then they don’t need me as a customer. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores to go to. Besides, as big as this store is, they never have what I want.

Stylist BEWARE! They will not honor your stylist discounts, choose another place that will appreciate your profession, and they are rude!

Came to buy a wig and Angel gave me great customer service. Even though I gave her a hard time and had her running back and forth to get wigs she remain professional and gave great recommendations to try.

I used to go on the rare occasion if I needed something in a hurry and was unable to make it to another beauty supply. I entered earlier this year (summer) and the lady who checked me out had a very poor attitude and was borderline combative during our transaction. That is a big non negotiable in my book. I havent been back as it left a bad taste in my mouth. I just saw a post where someone had a very poor experience, with the owner, that was racially insensitive. Now this ensures I will never step back into this establishment. I refuse to spend my money where I am not wanted or viewed as less than as a consumer.

I and several other customers of color have received continual poor customer service - that seems racist. The owner recently told a loyal costumer that he doesn’t like “ you people” after she became frustrated with his poor and blatantly rude customer service. They do not care for their main customer base- women of color. They believe that we are sooo strung out on beauty products that like a crack head we will take what we can get. Sister’s your natural hair is beautiful! Their are simple over the counter natural products that are great for our hair that would end our dependence on foreign hair and their chemically toxic products. But if you must, please look out for black owned beauty supply stores, and if you are hard pressed to find a black business; support those that support, respect, hire and cater to black women, like Jenny’s Beauty Supply off of 20 and cockrell hill.

Called to see if they had an item I was looking for, the lady said they did so I told her I was on my way. I arrived at store 5 minutes before they were suppose to close, they had already locked the door. When I knocked on door a man opened it, I told him I had just called and told them I was on my way to get it. The man was very rude, would not let me in even though I got there before their closing time. The lady was very polite, but the man was very rude and even closed the door in my face while I was trying to ask him when they would reopen. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE due to the rude attitude of the employees.
