Towed my truck in with a no crank, no start. 5 hours(maybe? It wasn’t long), I drove it home with a fresh battery, and a new(upgraded) starter. Service was super professional, true-to-quote, and fast. I’d recommend these folks in a heartbeat

I have been coming to City Garage for 2 years now. Any time any of my 3 vehicles need anything done, David at City Garage is my first call. He is honest and up front about any potential cost and repairs. I drive an extra 20 minutesout of my way so I can have the peace of mind that City Garage is doing the work.

My father was in the auto industry, so I spent a lot of my childhood around shops and dealerships. Therefore, I learned how to decipher between the people you could trust vs. the snakes that were emptying pockets.This place is definitely my go-to place to get work done nowadays, because David and his team have my full trust and confidence. I had 2 positive experiences with City Garage within these last month. I was experiencing AC issues, knowing how steep such repairs could get I put this off for as long as possible. I finally took my car into City Garage where they were able to diagnose this issue a long with being very transparent of all cost involved. They provided you with a repair list with the cost for each, at which point you will be able to select what repairs to proceed with. I also needed brakes done, being tight of funds at the time I was provided with a competitive and reasonable price for the brake work. I would return 2 weeks later to proceed with my AC repair. They were able to use my previous diagnosis to quickly reevaluate to situation. I explained to David, I believe the location manager, that I had an extended warranty coverage. David worked with the company to ensure that not only did my AC issues get fixed but also another issue that threatened the engines integrity was fixed, each with the best parts available, and all within my warranty coverage, which saved me a substantial amount of money. I would highly recommend City Garage in Lewisville to anyone needing quality, timely, and affordable work. Be sure to ask for David Maniloff, he will make sure you are taken care of!Edit: They also provided rides to drop you off and pick you up of needed!

They were locking up shop when I pulled in but still took the time to talk to me and asked if I was sure my car was drivable with the issue I was explaining. I was asked to come back in the morning and to not drive unnecessarily. From before I was an actual customer to the end of this repair, these guys are professional, courteous and very helpful. I am very thankful to the guys at this shop!

The customer service here is slow, and the manager seems to not care about his customers enough. I have been here twice in the last few months and I cannot say I was impressed with the staff here. I would rather go elsewhere unless your time isnt something you value. Please pick up the pace and have a better attitude towards your customers and get people out the door sooner, I would never be so disrespectful of of my own customers time, neither should the manager and staff of this place.

They diagnosed my car for 150 took them 15 minutes. They came and said its a easy fix only totalling 375 more. I agreed and said if that is going to fix my problem go ahead. He said yes it would clear the service engine light that you requested. The very next day the light came back on another mechanic informed me that all codes are on no service other than a oil change had been performed. I called the locatiom back to be told the master technician is not there and wont be until Tuesday. I returned Tuesday to hear all will be fixed. They kept my car another 24 hours to send me a email saying my car had head damage and they cant wont fix it. I called he hung up in my face and said he isnt giving back none of the money for services he clearly didnt perform. So im out 500.00 and my car isnt fixed thanks to you guys.. This is a con place and prices are not as they say. They talk good but the work they are not doing only charging.

The front desk guy was very kind, he help me schedule an appointment right away and explained to me the process. Then gave me a call when my truck was as ready. I had to switch businesses because of bad experiences at KwikKar and Firestone, I’m sticking with City Garage.

This place is fantastic I have nothing but good words for the manager David and the nice Regional manager was there named Ace I have a broken foot in a torn ligament and these gentlemen went above and beyond not only did they make sure that my car was taken care of but they made sure I had tea and they assisted me in and out of my car they even pulled out my knee rollator it was a blessing that I drove into that place and I wont use any other place ever I hope God will continue to shine on them and Jesus was living and breathing in that place Simply Amazing

Daughters 23-yr-old car towed in; engine made noise and died while driving. For $147 they told me it had dirty brake fluid, loose tie rod ends, oil leaks, weak battery, and 2 misfire error codes; “recommend new engine”. No compression test or diagnosis. Lots of irrelevant stuff on their report, nothing helpful in assessing the condition of the engine. I am pulling the cylinder head to replace the failed head gasket between cyls 1&2. Parts cost abt. $60. Understand their labor cost would be prohibitive for this job, do not understand why for the price they wasted time looking at suspension and brakes and not doing basic diagnosis on the primary problem.Facility was clean and employees helpful, but still disappointed with their service.

I do not recommend. Wish I had never gone in the first place with a coupon. Overpriced compared to other shops. Had the work done at another shop for over $600 less.

By the time it was all done they changed the oil to the wrong oil and did not give me any milage or date of when to change, and charged me 3 times more than any thing I had ever paid.

Had motorcycle inspection done this week; have used this center for minor car repairs as well. Treated very well. The team is professional. There are some places that make it seem that they are doing you a favor to earn your business. Did not feel that way here. Genuine, safety oriented, reasonable. Recommend.

Made appointment for 8:30 and I thought it would be quicker but it didnt make no different. I didnt leave until 11:30 way to long for a 81 something oil change and didnt put any washer fluid just got stuff that needed to be done. Waited for 3hrs for an oil change why would i wait longer for other stuff to get done. I had stuff to do.

My grandpa used this wonderful shop to get my Volvo up and running. This shop worked with us during a rough time. Highly recommend this shop.

Went on an impromptu inspection here. Had Florida inspection paperwork which I assumed would be accepted for title transfer purposes, that didn’t work so brought my car in to the nearest spot and I am glad this was it. Great and quick service. But also owing to the fact that my car is new and not much to do/inspect. However overall device was good. Please keep it up. Good customer service is very rare.

Unprofessional front desk clerk. She said she was Too busy to take care of a car inspection therefore I needed to drop off the vehicle and pick it up later on the day and I couldnt wait in the lobby, which is an inconvenience for customers who do not have a ride back home. Also, one should never tell a potential customer they are Too Busy even if I showed up 30 minutes after they opened. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I hit some construction debris on the highway and went into City Garage to have them take a look under the car. There was no serious damage - a small hole that was taken care of with a little duct tape and I was done and driving again. We use their services all of the time for inspections and repairs and have never been disappointed. thank you!

Finally found a good auto repair place. Through the 5 cars I’ve owned I’ve been to a lot of auto repair places. Never been to the same one twice because each one has overcharged and taken nearly twice as long as they said they would need to fix my cars. So my standards are pretty high and it can be hard to please me. This place? Total gem! I will definitely be coming back to them for any and all issues from here on out. From repairs to oil changes.I knew I had some issues with my car as well as some long overdue maintenance that was needed. I was expecting a huge bill, but this place kept the price around $500. On top of that to keep me from having to pay for a $250 part Darren cleaned and worked on my current one to get it working again to save me money. Didn’t even charge me for the work.Try this place! You won’t be disappointed.

Julie, the store manager, communicated with me every step of the way on prices, availability, timing, and discounts, etc. We received the services as described. Julie was pleasant and very professional. I will recommend this location of City Garage to any of my local friends.

Service was very friendly and accurate. The time that I was told to wait for my service ended up being almost exact. They didnt try to come at me and convince me to purchase extra services or anything of the manner. Prices are fair. They are slightly more expensive then others, but seem to be worth it to me. Would recommend!

I have been going to City Garage Lewisville for years! I’ve seen managers come and go. As a whole, the shop has always provided great service. Yesterday I went in to have them service my car. It required new brakes which I was not expecting but needed to have done. I ended up waiting for my car with my 2yr old in tow. The manager, Darren, got her a coloring book and crayons. I knew we’d be waiting a while and it was around lunch time. Even though I had snacks for my toddler, Darren brought out two pizza slices for us from the pizza he’d ordered the guys. I appreciated that gesture beyond words!!!! It’s customer service like this that keep me coming back and giving them business! Thank you Darren! 👍🏻

Brought my car here for a state inspection. General Manager is extremely nice and courteous. Shop is clean and convenient. I had kids with me and manager brought out toys for them to play with while we waited. I will definitely start bringing my vehicles here regularly.

They were the nicest people to me when I came in to fix my radiator fan. They took time and found a part so fast and fixed it by the end of the day. And since I lived so close they even had one of their team members pick me up to pick up my car! Daren helped me out and discovered the problem very quickly.

Very friendly, very fast and absolutely wonderful. Only draw back was my oil change was a bit more than I had planned for based on other oil changes I’ve gotten in the area. But overall recommend.

Darren was incredibly helpful and attentive. This is how a Store Manager should behave. I was very pleased with how quickly and genuinely I was helped. He even gave me some tips on removing smudges from the surface of my car and went as far as buffing some out himself. This is a great location.

Great customer service! My Subaru had a small oil leak. I dropped off my car and Darren with City Garage called me back saying the issue was simply a loose screw. Had a great experience today.I needed to get my cars lug off a wheel and discount tire couldnt do it. They had me in and out in no time flat. They charged a very fare price. Was broken down with my 1999 freightliner classic and the staff there was super nice and caring. They couldnt do the work due to scheduling but recommended someone. You rarely find caring people like the ones that work there.

The (owner?) Was really nice to me about owning a Honda and had loyalty to that brand. Most garages act like youre hassling them for bringing in a non-luxury automobile and complain about the previous work thats been done on it. Not here, so far! Much less quick to anger than Ive grown accustomed to in the auto repair places. Chill atmosphere

Went in for an oil change...left with an air filter replacement, tire realignment, brake fluid replacement, and then the oil change. Not that I dont appreciate them checking on those things for me, but I was in a bit of an awkward situation when I didnt ask for those checkups, ended up wanting to fix those things, and surprise-spent hundreds of dollars this past weekend. They kept me aware of the process while they were fixing xyz and they finished all those jobs within like 1.5hr wait-time, so I appreciate that, but I probably wont go back on the premise that I feel taken advantage of.

My appointment was at 430 and I got held up at work. Called them at 425 and they accommodated by moving me to 5 without any issues. My car was taken right in and I was done in less than 40 minutes. I was treated like I was the most important customer but I saw them treating everyone this way. That is refreshing. I will be back, since I have a list of things that I need done. UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is hands down the most transparent, honest, and kind repair shop I’ve been too. They took my Mazda in after a critter got under my hood and messed up my wiring. They diagnosed everything and was honest and upfront about how the repair would be a complicated fix and that a dealership would have more resources to fix the cars wiring. One day the starter in my Hyundai went out and I had to find someplace within towing distance to take it. After calling 3 other places, all of which gave me half answers or didnt bother returning my call I was told to check out City Garage, and man am I glad I did.Darren answered all my questions with confidence and even suggested calling my insurance company to get a free tow, which I never even thought about since Ive never had to use that service before.After getting the car there I was quoted a rather startling price far above my expectations. But after all was said and done, Darren was able to drop that price down significantly and even resolved another issue that cropped up after the repair.Needless to say, I will definitely be going back to City Garage for any automotive issues I have in the future and will recommend them to friends and family as well.

My first visit with City Garage. Had a transmission leak, they performed full check on my vehicle. Went into the garage, service man went over everything showing me the items that needed service/repairs. Told what needed to be done, as there were a couple of items that didnt need repaired today but might be needed in future. Gave me a ride home, had my truck all day, called me several times with an update of service, then picked me up and returned to garage. All work was performed with no issues. The entire staff at City Garage of Lewisville were very courteous and knowledgable about work performed. I will be back if needed. I highly recommend City Garage for your auto needs.

Good service, better price than the dealership, and they gave me a ride home. They replaced my battery cable. When I got my car back, I was unable to roll down the windows on the passenger side and in the back as a result of replacing the battery. I took it back in and they fixed it for free. I then got an oil change and the price was fair and service was quick. I would recommend strongly.

Dropped my car off last night to have a new alternator installed, and this morning it was ready before I was. Prompt, personable, reasonable, and knowledgable. Ive never had that feeling of dread that accompanies auto repairs at this location either, and Jerry seems to run it well. Keep it up!

This was my first visit and the best experience ever for visiting an auto shop. The guy behind the counter was friendly and went out of his way to get my work done quickly, (I had to have both bulbs changed out of my headlights.) He upgraded the bulbs for free and still saved me money on the initial estimate. Excellent job will recommend your shop to others!
