I ordered my granite from them. 2 weeks ago my undermount sink fell in. I had a friend come look at it. They literally held up my sink to the granite by gluing shims (yes, just a wooden shim) to the granite. When they installed the granite, it overlapped one of my cabinets way further than over the other cabinets to the point that i had to notch out my mouldings. It looks awful. I can share images of the difference for anyone that would like to see. I highly suggest using any other company!

This is the best granite company in South East Michigan. Trust me, I visited and got quotes from at least 15 other companies and Granite City had the best prices, the best granite and the best sales processes. We agreed on a stone, a price and an install date... Granite City delivered on all fronts, the install was done professionally and even when we had one or two minor issues they handled them with grace and a customer-centric approach. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The man who did the laser measurements was very professional and detailed. We had a tricky area that went around molding that also had to be angled to allow our refrigerator door to open completely. It is absolutely perfect. I never thought anyone could get that area right the first time, without having to make little adjustments, but he did! The installers were prompt and also very professional, they did a fantastic job and cleaned up when they finished. A special thank you to the owner who in addition to being very patient and helpful while working out the final layout, also fit in a last minute request for a round piece for a Lazy Susan. I am very satisfied with their service and my countertops. I called for them to come on a Thursday to make measurements and they came out the following Wednesday and installed them. The installation process was very efficient and the final product is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend them. They are priced competitively as well.

Granite City has done my kitchen and bathroom counter tops. Selection of stone is great, quality of craftsmanship is spectacular! Pricing is very competitive. Very friendly crew, arrived on time to measure, arrived on time to install, left no mess and no damage to walls. I dont know how they get the sealer (caulk) so straight and even! Joints are almost invisible. Real pros.

Granite City installed a granite countertop in one large dual sink bath and quartz in the master bath. I visited other granite places, but they did not compare to the selection nor customer service I received at Granite City. Stephanie was an amazing help for me during my countertop decision- making process. I had a difficult decision to make in a time crunch. Stephanie was honest and extremely helpful. In the future, I would not shop anywhere else for countertops. The installers where very professional and I was pleased with the quality of their work. I recommend Granite City and will return myself if I need their services.

I called to ask if they carried a countertop that was listed on their website & they told me no. When I was trying to ask if it was discontinued because it is listed on their website the lady replied thank you bye bye. Please make sure the potential customers is done talking before you decide to hang up.

Though their showroom is a bit smaller than others, the experience was easy and no-fuss. The pricing was beyond fair and quality is spot-on. We stopped in to see Jon Williams to browse some remnants. He was very helpful, and they have a HUGE selection. Everyone there was super friendly, helpful!

First time purchasing new countertops, and although I love the look and selection this company had on quartz, I felt poorly prepared with what to expect regarding the process overall. The service workers never finished caulking the top of the quartz to the backsplash. Instead they just told my husband to grout the gap between the counters and backsplash. In my opinion, we paid full price for a job that was not complete. Lastly, I wish the communication would have been better. Before putting down a deposit, I asked John (our main point of contact) what to expect during this process and was not forewarned that your bottom cabinets should be emptied on the day of delivery due to the dust and all items should be cleared from the countertop on the day of measurement and delivery. Had the communication of what to expect been more transparent, I would have given them five stars.

I saw on another review about the virtually invisible seam on granite....they did the same on our quartz. Granite City prepared and installed a large counter top (18 feet plus and two side sections of 5 feet plus each) for us last week. They did a very good job and handled the seam and leveling well. The fit and finish are great. The salesperson, Rudina, helped us choose a product that worked well with some existing materials.

Just purchased my Stage B Granite counters from Granite City and had a very good experience. The associates were very helpful in walking us back to look at what was in stock to pick out our slab we liked. This was my first time purchasing counters like this, so they answered my wife and my silly first timer questions. The measurement was conducted timely during the appointment time we reserved. The installation crew came in and did a very professional job and worked directly with our contractor during install to ensure everything was clean and done well. It looks fantastic at the end of the day.My only point that really isnt worth taking away any stars is availability of appointment times for measurement and install, but I also understand these fill up fast and there are only so people working on these jobs.A specific thank you to Stephanie for being excellent from a customer service standpoint. We definitely recommend Granite City moving forward.

They have done my entire house. We have one more bathroom left to do and I will not use anyone else. The selection is better than many other suppliers they have colors and patters you dont see every where but dont charge crazy prices. Fair priced and great work the only Granite place you will ever need.

We chose Granite City for our counters in our kitchen and are extremely pleased. Stephanie W. was fantastic to work with. We had a late change to the stone we chose and were able to change it, prior to measuring, with out any issues at all. They were able to fit us in for measurement within 1.5 weeks with install one week later. Installation was very high quality and overall we are extremely happy with the Titanium granite and MSI Perla White quartz we purchased from Granite City.

I am very pleased with quartz kitchen countertops from Granite City. I was pretty much a novice at a project like this, and Jon was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful on taking me through the steps. The quartz counters are a HUGE improvement over the Corian I had. Installation was done very well, the small seam had to be pointed out to me, you can hardly tell it is there. The new stainless steel sinks are also a big improvement over prior sinks. Deeper, look better, and (hopefully) easy to keep clean. I would recommend Granite City highly.

I highly recommend using Granite City Inc for your counter tops. We worked with Taressa to pick out the counter top and I was amazed at how quickly she said we were going to have the new quartz counter top installed. Jimmy came out measured and a week later my beautiful countertops were being installed! They put drop clothes down to protect our new floors and cleaned up the area before leaving as well. We absolutely love what Granite City did for us! They came out a 2nd time to install the window sill because we were waiting on a new window to be installed, no extra trip charge either! We got our Chocolate Bordeaux kitchen counter tops from Granite city about six months ago and we could not be happier. We went with Granite city because they were the only ones that had the Chocolate Bordeaux. Their prices for other stones seemed comparable to the other places we had looked (and we looked at quite a few). They were able to schedule measurement within a week and installation a week after that. After they made our templates, we were able to pick which part of the slabs would be used and they did an outstanding job on the one seam we had. They picked the two sides of the seam very well so they blend together nicely and the seam is nice and tight and level. Most people cannot find the seam when they look for it.

Wish I can give this place more then 5 stars went to 6 different stores in different city’s no one came close to beating there prices! Appointment time they came in just like they said they would.

Checked out several different places and went with Granite City due to rave reviews from our neighbor & glad we did. Quick, professional installation& even came back to fix our error in bay window height& then gave us an extra piece for a smaller window sill . They know their stuff & new showroom beautiful.

The selection is wonderful and Stephanie was very helpful in understanding my project, guiding me through the options, and offering me a price that was VERY competitive. The turn around time was weeks earlier than other vendors. The installers were able to make fine adjustments on site and were extra cautious not to damage my fresh paint (unlike Lowes). this is my fifth remodel project, all with different countertop vendors. I would highly recommend them and will use them for every job in the future.

They did an awesome job, love the blue pearl granite and was able to measure and install within a few days before Christmas.

I was ok with the final work but dont feel like the process was explained at all. Office was very rude and made me feel like an idiot but this was first time. I was nickel and dimed because of it. I would not recommend them if this is your first granite install (they expect you to know). I went through home depot the next time and it was amazing and their were no surprises! (I paid exactly what they quoted me).
