**UPDATE** Since leaving this review, I have been in contact with the regional manager. We have worked together to find a reasonable solution that works for both of us. I am updating my two stars to five because of this.I absolutely hate being the person who comes online to publicly air issues, but unfortunately it seems this is the only avenue I have left.I rented a 5x10 unit, and upon moving items into the unit discovered the insulation above was a balloon of water, that shortly after started leaking. I went to the office to notify Stephen. He tried to get ahold of the regional manager, but was unsuccessful so he allowed me to move my times to a 10x20, which was the only unit available. Thankfully I had help moving that day, and had a truck available to me, so we were able to move my items.Days later I hear from from Stephen. He was SO kind and accommodating. He offered a 10x10 unit, which sounds like a compromise, except I no longer have the moving help or truck available. The regional manager said they would absolutely not budge on price for the unit I had to move my items to. I asked if I could speak to her directly, but was never given her number or an email I could contact her with.At this point- they are expecting me to either pay full price, move my items for a THIRD time, and will not be hiring moving help or a truck for me to move my items with. I can not afford to take additional time off work to accommodate them for a storage unit that was not up to par when I moved into it.The unit I originally rented was 117, I was also able to see 111 had significant water hanging within the insulation also. I am curious to know what solutions they offered the units between, 113 &115. Do the renters of those units know their items could be ruined? Did they offer them to move into a different unit? If there are numerous customers being effected, how has a more appropriate solution not been presented?According to their mission statement they adhere to the ability to work with our valued customers, yet I did not experience this.Instead of 1 star, I am giving 2, because Stephen has been kind, and understanding. Also, the facility is very clean!

I had such an excellent experience coming to this facility. I was met by a store clerk, Stephen Clark, and all of my questions were answered thoroughly and positively. It was my first time needing to use a storage unit so I was kinda nervous because I was uncertain on what to do but mr. Clark made this experience very easy going. I strongly recommend this location for anyone that needs to purchase a storage unit. Keep up the great work National Storage Center(Livonia North) with hiring top tier professionals and making customer service a priority.

FIX THE GATE TO THE ENTRANCE! its been broken for nearly a week! I spend more here than for rent, and the longer youre here the more they charge you. About 50 every year. Plus since its not cubesmart now when you pay your bill they charge you 10 for a convenience fee, nothing about this place is convenient. Install some mirrors on the corners, Ive almost been t boned numerous times when people come flying in and Im trying to load my stuff in my unit

Very clean and well laid out and I personally am familiar with due to it being a site I plowed during the winter. More importantly the site manager, Stephen, was professional, informative, polite and helpful especially when I found out that my auto pay wasnt working. He waived the late fees and fixed my auto pay. Thank you so much and I love this storage above all that Ive used in my days. Lol

Stephen is always so professional and so knowledgeable whenever I contact this business. I hope this company is doing everything it can to retain him- because this level of customer service is not easily found.

My storage needs were short term during a move. The staff is very helpful, professional, and friendly from inception to close out. The corporate representive that reserved the unit with me over the telephone to the onsite staff at the facility was fantastic experience. Once I get settled with my move, I will be renting anohter unit (smaller size inside) for my long term storage needs. The entire facilty is secure, clean, easy to access, and plenty of room for vehicles to get around the property.

I started moving in, Steven was there to show me the way, how to use the gate, and followed up while I was at the unit to show me how to use the lock. I was nervous about getting a unit. I had heard lot of crazy stories. The staff at this location is AMAZING. They follow the rules and make sure you understand them. They respond quickly. The facility is clean. I dont worry about my belongings because security is great. I generally have a lot going on, so I LOVE, LOVE LOVE that friendly reminder phone call!

I’ve always had a wonderful experience with Ebony & Stacey when I come to my storage unit. Very pleasant, warm and family friendly environment. I truly appreciate the courtesy calls and the time they take to discuss my account. The units are very clean and I feel my belongings are secure. I would highly recommend this Storage company to anyone.

Have had a unit for almost 2 years, the prices goes up once a year. Im currently paying more than my rent. The first time it happened they mailed the notice to an address Ive never lived at. They gave me a month at the original price because it was their error. I fixed my address with the MANAGER. I go to pay my bill this month and its up just under $50. So we call the manager says it says in your contract blah blah blah I said we again didnt get a notice. She read off the incorrect address again. I reminded her that we updated that last year, for the same reason. She said oh well so will be ending our service at the end of the month.

Service was great and the property was clean.

I contacted this facility to see about storage, I was greeted by the most pleasant sales rep i have spoken too in a long time! Stacey was not only very informative and knowledgeable, but VERY helpful and personable. Her disposition was happy and willing to help, and i greatly appreciated her customer service! I definitely recommend speaking with HER for your storage needs!!!!

Very helpful customer service. We went in thinking we needed 1 size and we explained to the clerk what all we needed to store, she was able to better guide us on a better storage size. Also, their website offered us 1st month free. There was like a $40 fee when we signed up but it was still a good deal.

I went to Public Storage and the service was horrible. A friend recommended CubeSmart and I came and they were great. The service was great and they were friendly and the prices are great. Will definitely be recommending

They do not prorateyour move out. They certainly bill you from month to month. I moved out of my storage unit June 5th. My bill is till the 25th. You would think that time would be prorated . Especially in these time people need the money more than ever. Companies should not be unfair like that, especially when there are so many choices out there.

This seems to be a fairly new facility so the prices reflect that. They are substantially cheaper than other competing storage facilities in the area (within 5 square miles).Be mindful that insurance is required, as well as a lock. Insurance will cost you almost $15 per month, and a lock is almost $13. You can buy your own lock and the insurance is bypassed if you have your own insurance (homeowners or renters).The staff that I encountered were very nice. They did not waste my time with irrelevant chit chat. They were quick, straight to the point, ad extremely courteous. In and out within 8 minutes, including a tour of the unit.

I thank God for Stacie at this location for her outstanding work. I couldnt make my mind up on what size and or price. It was explained well to me and patience with my uncertainty was much appreciated. I recommend this location not just for the pricing but, for the people who serve at this location. Confusion made ease and thank and appreciation again to Stacie.

Stacie is very friendly. She will help you out with everything that you need. If you are having a bad day she will turn it into a good day. The office is very clean and the storage. This is the best storage place in Michigan, and the staff makes it even better.

Extremely clean and the person on site, Joel, is extremely friendly. While unloading our belongings he came over to shovel snow and salt the area to make it easier for us to walk. He also walks around the area making sure all the units are secured and the property is kept clean. Interior units are climate controlled so no worries about freezing temperatures ruining any sensitive items.
