August, 2021. We had an excellent experience with Two Men and a Truck. The office team was very professional and the moving team was really great. They hustled all day in extreme heat, took super care with all contents of our home, and gave us the opportunity to move items from room to room when we had changed our mind about placement at the new home. I’m a 78 year old man, who was dredging this move, but because of Two Men and a Truck, they made it as easy as I could possible want. A special thanks too to the guys who did the move. They were professional in ever since of the word. The worked beautifully together, and did everything possible to make unpacking at my destination a breeze. I’m hoping this is my last move, but if I have to do it again there is no doubt of who I will use.

To sum it all, I called 5 companies, 1 company came out look at my good quality (heavy) furniture and told me they couldnt do it, its was 3 of them and they ran. The other companies either didnt answer or the 1st date available was 2 weeks or longer away. Called 2 men and a truck, they came out in 3 days.. They move the heavy furniture with no complaints and they showed up early. They wrap the furniture and did a well done job. They are the best movers around Michigan ..

We had too much stuff to move, so we needed four men and two trucks. The office staff was efficient and very friendly. The estimator who came to our home was right on with the estimates, and our four movers—Anthony, Josh, Moe and Gary worked hard for eight hours. After the trucks were unloaded I asked these men to reposition some of our large pieces of furniture. I hated to ask them, but I knew that I could not move them. They gladly did this and made sure I was happy with the placement of furniture throughout our new home.

I needed to move out of one storage unit to another close by. The office was helpful with explaining cost and timing. The 2 fellows that did my move were on time to the minute, worked at a quick pace that had me moved out of the one storage unit, drive to the other facility, and unloaded in an hour. Very pleased with this service!

Our movers were Caleb, Jon, and Josh. They were excellent. Respectful men that work very hard to move furniture efficiently and quickly.They were careful, communicative, professional and managed to help make a stressful day so much easier. They were early, speedy, but careful. Positive demeanor helps and these guys were always positive. Sometimes you hear movers bickering but not these guys. They all got along and worked hard. Alvin and Tone did the move for me on April 19th. They arrived on time and started right away. They worked fast and efficiently. At one point, I asked them if they got paid by the hour or job. They replied, the hour. It was a shock to me, why then, were they working like they got paid by the job. I expected it would have taken them at least 2 more hours, but they wrapped it up in short order. No only were they quick but they really took care of my belongings too. Polite, courteous and efficient. What more could you ask for?

We just experienced a move with Two Men and a Truck and could not be happier! This was the first time that we hired movers and so beyond happy that we did! They took care of everything!!!!! They hung padding to protect our walls, took care of wrapping each piece of furniture with extreme care and all staff members were engaging and professional! I called Two Men and a Truck and gave them quite a last minute move notice. The office staff was understanding and gave me an excellent move out date. The date of the move all I had to do was point and say what was going, the movers did the rest. They were understanding that I had to enter a code before moving my stuff into storage, and waited for me at the storage unit gate. Ive used them once before and Im always satisfied by their speed and care.

Overall, the team did a good job with the move. The only issue (which I did report back to the company) was that the movers showed up without face masks. Obviously, this is a concern in the current COVID environment. Fortunately, I had some extra masks in my car and the move continued with no further problems.

My family moved in northville earlier today and the four movers on the job left our yard and our garage a wreck. The yard was all torn up and covered in plastic and the boxes put in the garage werent even stacked. Would not recommend.

They left a lot of items that they could have taken. I need to rent a truck to fake what they didnt take. I expected alot less stuff to be left at the old place.They also broke things,including a cat tree. I shouldnt be finding more items they broke. When they got the call for another job they abruptly left after stating extra time isnt a good if I paid for it,which I did. Atrocious service. Never again.

Just moved to Madison, WI from Westland and Two Men and a Truck were great! Josh and Anthony were amazingly fast and careful with everything both loading up and unloading in our new home; and they were also very patient and helpful making sure everything was where we wanted it to be, all while navigating safely around our toddler!

During the move the guys damaged part of my brand new hardwood floors. I followed up with them after the move and Adam told me they would get a check out to me in seven days to pay for the cost of fixing my floor. It is been over a month I’ve called over five times to the Plymouth location left messages and no one will return my call. I’ve called customer service three times and they can’t get a hold of anyone to give me any answers. This is absolutely beyond horrible. I’ve used Two men and a truck out of different locations multiple times throughout the years and have never had such an absolutely terrible experience I have now. I want my money for the damages!

The Livonia team are outstanding, especially the team leader, I believe his name is Josh and also two other guys Brad and Erin. It was very stressful day for me, so maybe I did not remember how to spell their names correctly (sorry guys), but I am sure they are the best movers you can find out there. We had a very positive experience with Two Men & A Truck. The rep who came out and reviewed our move was off on the estimate of pounds to move. However, I think this is an isolated incident. (The management was very receptive and quick to review problems here). The most important part of the move was our Relocation Specialists. They could not have been more professional, respectful, extremely efficient, kind and knowledgeable. This was a very big deal moving my father to a new home on the other side of the state after living in the same home he shared with his wife for 48 years. This crew truly took wonderful care and everything arrived in perfect condition. They were such gentlemen in carrying my fathers life over to the other side like great care-takers. My family will always be grateful to these 2 men for all their effort and work especially at a time when my father was in his most sensitive state. We would use Two Men & A Truck again but of course, wed have to have our team. :) Thank you again.

Watch out for $205 Travel Charge! Guy didnt mention it on call when I scheduled, which locations General Manager confirmed. Moved my Mom, on fixed income, into assisted living so these surprise charges can bite you! Driver covered it at end of move so a bit late. Its on one of the 7(?) PDFs they email you AFTER you pay deposit, almost like they are trying to hide it. Is that legal or bait and switch?When you call them, leave a message, good luck getting a call back unless its to schedule a New move. 1.5 hours to get drivers ETA after calling 3 times and then given wrong ETA. No call back after 6 hours disputing $205. Hours after I called again to get BS excuses on travel charge from previous move then back to their office. Try telling your boss you want to be paid to drive into work and drive home.Guys doing the actual moving were great. They worked real fast and moved things without a hitch.

The movers did a great job. They showed concern or my items being moved. I dont want to move again, but if I do Ill definitely call them.

Overall, my furniture was moved without damage in the winter. That was the only think I was happy about.HOWEVER, the entire experience with them was not pleasant. Below i provide the list of bad experiences with my move:(1) The movers appeared at my place without tools. I had to lend them my tools.(2) After the movers finish moving, they provided me with the final payment bill. The bill was way higher than the estimate provided initially. When I told the movers that I will need to call the office to confirm the agreement, one of them became very visibly upset. Upon calling the store, another employee yelled at me to pay the movers. When I was finally transferred to the General Manager, he was able to generate the correct bill - which I then payed. In order to cheer up the movers, I payed for additional time since they had to wait while I called the office (the total amount was still lower than what they had intended to charge me at first).(3) When paying, the device that the movers used had connection issues and declined my wifes credit card. After that, their battery died. Finally, when it was all charged and connected, I paid with my credit card.Just when I thought all these were over, my wife and I are both charged on our credit cards (i.e. they double charged). I had to go through the hassle of contacting them to get my wifes card reimbursed.FORTUNATELY, Sean and the General Manager were very quick in their responses and helped with the reimbursement. Because of their help, I am rating them 2 stars instead of 1.

The manager of this location canceled my move that was scheduled on 12/28/2019, on the day I was moving because he did not want to honor a coupon that I have. Eventhough I was willing to pay the full price, he till cancelled the move without even caring. I will not go again with two man and a truck ever again. I am a verified customer.

The guys did a great job in less time than quoted. On time, quick, and even carried a lot of loose items not boxed up. They even boxed up some for me!

The guys take care of my furniture very professional and in a safe manner. They dont leave until I was satisfied with the final location of them.

All went well with the move but my bed frame was damaged. I was told that I would be contacted about repairing the damage. After waiting I had to contact them and leave voicemail a number of times before l got a response. Long story short, I have been waiting 3 weeks for my bed and it seems they dont know how to return phone calls. I am 72 years old and Im tired of sleeping on the floor.

Our experience with Two Men and A Truck was super! Great care was given to all of our belongings - from our beautiful furniture to our old plastic tubs. Craig and his colleagues were totally competent and professional. They moved us into storage in Feb. when we began remodeling and then back home again in July. From the office staff to the movers, everyone was delightful, helpful and a joy to work with. When we remodel upstairs, we will surely be using Two Men and A Truck again!! Kudos to all!!

Very efficient!!!! Demetrius, Kyle, and Justin did a excellent job. Moved the equivalent of three complete rooms and lawn furniture. They were very careful with our heavy/ big pieces and did an amazing job at getting our furniture from difficult spaces. Would definitely recommend using them for any move needed!

Its amazing how they continually lost my phone # & email address. They were unresponsive to my many calls. It took over two weeks to get a virtual tour for a moving quote, which I had to call them minutes b4 its timing as I hadnt received their promised email to initiate the tour. I again had to give them my phone # & e mail address. They then were 10 minutes late for that appt.The only reason they got 2 stars, was the virtual tour was quite convenient and Chelsea was very accommodating explaining items to me. I did receive an email with a dollar amount noted for the move, but a detailed estimate of how they got to that number was not provided. I immediately wrote back asking for that detail & have yet 2 receive something. (Ie weight, items noted, fuel surcharge, detail on their insurance they were charging me, etc.)Since it is a long-distance move with rates mandated by Michigan, it should be a competitive bid, but they are over $600 higher than any of my other long-distance quotes. It would be nice to see a detailed invoice as to why its so much more than the other handful of quotes we have.Sadly they lost our business & well make sure we let others know of our ridiculous experience with them & to use someone else.

You always get what you pay for. We had multiple quotes from many companies because we wanted a good deal. Two Men and A Truck only quoted over the phone because they do 90% of their quotes this way as a manager told me. We moved out of a 2 bedroom townhouse and were quoted $1300. That sounded reasonable until the final bill was MORE than double and we ended up having to pay close to $3000. This was WAY over any other quote we had and we could have hired a professional moving company for cheaper. All we did is move across town... unbelievable. I paid because the movers make you sign before they leave and by the time they got done at 11pm no one was answering the office number. I also assumed they would somewhat respect their original quote....When I called to complain about the discrepancy, and borderline fraud in my opinion, they basically told me I was s#!% out of luck. Do Not Use them, and we will neverr use Two Men and A Truck again.

I needed to have some heavy furniture moved from my moms condo to be donated. Devonte and Victor were the movers, and they were amazing. It was later in the afternoon when they arrived because their first move took longer than anticipated, but they were worth the wait! They had the (very heavy!) sleeper sofa, couch, entertainment unit and some other things out of the condo in 20 minutes! They made a stop at my house with the sofa where we took care of the payment details, and then they were off to donate the rest of the furniture. I was so pleased with the entire move with this company beginning with my first call to Angela, my follow-up call with Chelsea, and the movers. I would definately recommend them, and if I ever have another move, I want this team ! Thank you !

Ive used Two Men and a Truck many times in the past, but this was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had in my life.- My cat was lost because 2 of the 3 gentlemen needed to use the rest room immediately upon entering my home. This is where my cat was being kept safe and sound during the move. Needless to say, one of them let her out and she ran out of the house terrified.- The exterior door handle was damaged beyond repair while items were being moved out.- Upon arrival at my new home, 2 of the 3 gentlemen argued the entire time, so much so that my new neighbors were coming out into the hall wondering what was going on.- When unpacking my wardrobe boxes that the movers were kind enough to pack for me while I kept looking for my cat, all of the clothes were in a heap at the bottom of the boxes with no hanging bar in sight.After reaching out to them multiple times, Two Men and a Truck has not offered any form of restitution for the loss of my cat.

Young men who moved us were quick and patient. They moved my mother in law into assisted living and had to deal with an elevator that also carried residents with walkers. Added a lot of time to a job that should not have taken more than a couple hours.
