We arrived here to do a oil change with 35 minutes until they close. He told us it’s going to take hours to change the oil. Saying it’s too busy. It wasn’t busy at all. All the garages were open and empty. What are they getting paid for to Sit around on their phones and socialize with each other because that’s exactly what was going on. Very unprofessional and lost my business for good.

Was in and out in 15 minutes. Friendly service, will travel further to this location because of it.

Called them to ask for the price of oil change. Gave them all the details and told them I will bring my own oil and filter, I will pay for the service. I was quoted $30. I said great! I showed up to Midas and the front desk man Jay tells me oh its $60 for your SUV. Why do you think I will pay the special price of $60 when I am already bringing expensive oil and filter and all you have to do is replace the filter and loosen the nut? Saved myself the money and did it by myself the next day. Learn some good business practices. I should have read the reviews regarding your sneaky business practices before coming to your business.

Went in for an oil change which went fine, the service was quick. My complaint is that the lift used on my car damaged the moulding underneath both doors causing the fenders to dislodge from the bolts in the wheel wells. Whenever I open either door, the door pinches the fender between the wheel and the door and pushes it in until it springs back. When I confronted the employees about the issue the following weekend they just denied it saying it was impossible but they believe me (?). I noticed the problem immediately after the service was over but was unable to confront them at the time because I had to visit my grandfather in the hospital and was short on time. This was the first and last time I will ever go to a Midas. I contacted the corporate office and I am waiting for a response. If the issue gets resolved I will update this review and continue my business with Midas but until then, buyer beware.

As I was picking up food from next door, I noticed my tire was low on air and right as they were closing. They re-opened their bay just to put air in my tire as an act of community service. These guys are upstanding Americans and represent the good that immigrant Americans bring to our great country. God Bless

I went to Midas (Lombard) on Saturday morning to fix my tire. its my brand new SUV i.e. only 5000 miles on SUV. The guy name Jay recommended to replace the tire because it was worn out from side.I told him (Jay on his shirt) and his repair guy i did not drive the suv after its flat. he persisted me to replace tire and told me that he will not able to take the nail out because tire needs to be replaced. He also provided me the price of tire which was around 40 dollar high. I went to Ford dealership and they check and verify the tire. they fix the tire and mentioned there is not need to replace the tire. Ford dealer ship also recommended not to park very close to curb because there is small worn out on sides of tire because parking very close to curb. These guys trying to rob me with new tire. I am driving with no problem. These guys trying to steal your money when it comes to tires.

Used to really like this place because the older manager was very thorough and honest. The new manager Im not a big fan of. Or a couple times where I set appointments ahead of time and they clearly didnt have the appointment down. They will tell you itll take 15-20 minutes and youll end up being there an hour or so

Fuel Pump on Sunday !!5I was on a trip to Minnesota to meet some movers.I stopped in Lombard to pick up a TV, gift from my bf. Saturday night I went out to the truck and it would not start. I called a wrecker first thing Sunday morning and had him tow me to this Midas. They were able to get me in and do a fuel pump job on my 2000 Chevy ZR2. They did a GREAT job and even waited late for me to pick it up. You cannot go wrong here. Good shop great repair person. I recommend it, no worries here.- Sallie

Dont give 5 stars very often! But these guys are great! They show you the problem and work with you on options. They dont try the oversell like other places do!Have only used them for exhaust issues but considering how well they do that, should probably have them look at other future issues too!?!

Car started making funny noises after going through a large pothole.I called Lombard Midas and they said bring it in now. Mechanic David put my car on the rack and found the issue right away. He offered the least expensive option, which repaired the issue for the time being. He also noticed my brake light was out and took care of it while I was here.I haven’t had good luck with honest mechanics in the past so finding a shop that is ethical and honest went way above my expectations.I will make it a point to have work done, on my old but reliable car, at this shop in the future.Customer service at this facility was excellent.Thank you Lombard Midas.

It was a snowy night that I came here almost close to their closing time. I just needed a headlight replaced. I went to three other establishments who were rude and not helpful, so it was nice when I was warmly greeted and helped immediately. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Only thing I would recommend to be improved is the bathroom. It needs to be cleaned.

Thought I had a muffler issue, the guys showed me what was shaking under my car free of charge as it wasnt an immediate need for repair. They were quick and extremely helpful.

They made a mistake with my muffler initially. But when I brought it in the next day they were so happy to help. It ended up being a great job and Im really happy with it

Midas fixed a flat tire there promptly on Saturday afternoon and remounted the wheel, all for under $30.

Terrible place they can’t open my oil filter for a sienna. Asking me to go to dealer get it loosened and come back and offering $5 as a compensation. Utterly unprofessional!

Oh these guys are lifesavers! Our water pump and thermostat went out on our suzuki aerio and we were stuck! they stayed open late JUST so we could get home that same night! These guys are just awesome! very professional and a great job!

I had a terrible experience with the owner, Jay Rajput, at this location. After politely explaining that I would like to take my car to another location to this about it, he proceeded to confront me asking why I wouldn’t purchase new break pads here. He was quoting me $170 for new break pads and installation. I could tell her was clearly upset, but decided to take my business elsewhere. I took it to another Midas located in Addison and the quoted me for $100.The worst part of the experience was he did not tighten the lug nuts on my rear passenger tire. I had driven on the expressway and noticed something was wrong. I was able to unscrew them with my own hands. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after researching the owner and seeing how he handled his business practices in the insurance industry I can’t help but think it was done on purpose.I would not recommend coming back here or that this person should own any business.

Go here at your own risk. First off $89.99 for a diagnostic, umm the Westmont Midas John charges $0.00 ZERO! He will tell you exactly what’s wrong with your car and he is very honest. This man wanted to charge to tell me whAts wrong after I told him what’s wrong ! The Westmont Midas was closed and my car shut off. I’m 9 months pregnant and was hoping to just get it fixed real quick. These people here are a joke ! GO TO WESTMONT 10 min from this location and are very honest people not to mention the diagnostic IS FREE !! You welcome in advance !

These guys are super awesome. I have been going to this location since one year and I have experienced nothing other than excellent customer service. Every employee at this location knows what they are doing and the manager called atif is a wonderful guy. Not only he is professional in his approach, he also is very compassionate and has an intense desire to help others. His time and cost estimates are on point. Nonetheless the vast experience under his belt displays the accuracy of the tasks he performs. In one instance the owner of this midas worked on my car since they were very busy which shows how passionate they are in providing great service. I would suggest that this midas location is one of the best and I am confident that they would keep up the great work.

I dont recommend this place to anyone. I went on three separate occasions for an oil change. I had to wait an hour before someone told me they wouldnt be able to do my oil change and come back another day. Very poor customer service. I had been here 4 times previously for an oil change and the service was ok, but never again.

I brought my car in for an estimate and they told me it would be $427, for a muffler. Either they were trying to rip me off or didnt want the job. They didnt get it. Brought it to a shop down the street got it done for $140.

Recently I had brought my Honda Civic to my Honda dealership for an oil change that during their inspection they said that by the end of the month i would need new brakes. They gave me an outrageous estimate and called it a day. I decided to wait abit and a month later I came to this Midas deciding Id put it off long enough and after their thorough inspection they said my brakes were just fine and they couldnt see why the Honda dealership said Id need new brakes at all let alone so soon. But they did find alot of tire rot on my rear passenger side tire which wouldnt have been visable from the outside and it was bad. They are not only very honest but they even found me a good deal for my tire and saved me alot of money and my family vacation from going ugly with a flat tire. Thanks guys!
