Excellent Produce Department. Very clean and laid back atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Parked car in their garage. 45 min later, came out to chalk all over my new tires. They told me parking services put it there because they were towing cars soon. I’d get it if I was there beyond the allotted time, but after 45 minutes, during a weekday afternoon? Really tacky. Would really appreciate it if the owner didn’t subject paying customers to this.
Great quality foods selection at eye watering prices. Neighbourhood a bit dodgy but okay
Always the best. Great food, helpful staff, just come with your wallet full!
No normal stuff everything never seen, ohh I didnt knew they surve food there, buffet.
Aisles are narrow but great variety of fresh produce and very convenient self checkout.
In famous Westwood right next to UCLA is this Whole Foods Market. Ive been here a number of time over the many years. Fact is this one is one of the more iconic stores in the franchise. Its not always the SIZE of things, you know, but more of the Vibe or feel that does matter more to places and spaces. This WF is a real stunner! Its always felt very good indeed. Youd thing a small one like this would be cramped, but its been places so well that it feels almost spiritual! The moment you enter there is the produce. BAM! As the chef says.I think youll like this WF, do stop by and this store is a great compliment to the Monster Ralphs just a number of blocks away.Tell them Ralph sent you!4 1/2 Stars.
Nice food store little pricey
The whole foods that I originally go to in Pasadena on Arroyo Parkway they are amazing extremely polite extremely helpful this Whole Foods nobody helpful except for two people one that bagged my groceries and person made my coffee shouldnt all Whole Foods have the same customer service!!!!!!! Just asking just saying
The hot bar food has gotten awful. Options are beyond horrible, no more of the classics I used to find. Cant find even find a chicken option nor a decent vegetable. The mac n cheese is often gross and the same goes for the tough orange chicken Only white rice option is horrible and I can go on about most often I find options that are way too spicy...jalapeño beef?! Really?! Awful selection, quality and service is not the best either.
Eh. It’s ok. They do have a real good Tina sandwich
Delicious products, variety, a lot of healthy choices
A small and intimate store with every kind of food you can think of. Fresh sushi, burritos, pizza and crab cakes. If youre a UCLA student or employee with a Bruin card it can be used at this store. The fresh meat and seafood counter is amazing.
Near campus and has self-checkout. Shoutout to the really cute cashier who helped me buy alc on Sunday:)
Best nutrition, everything ❤👍 😎 🇺🇸 ❤
Organically grown fruits and vegetables. Love the organic chocolate bars. Amazing customer service. One happy and satisfied customer.
Covid hotspot. No one social distances, they are NOT properly cleaning the carts or baskets properly for Covid, and at least half the carts in the front corral and ALL of the carts in the parking lot are unclean at any given time. Also, the In Store Shoppers are NOT washing their hands, and many of the staff members keep touching their masks with their hands without washing their hands before going back to doing their tasks. Also, NO ONE is following proper handwashing protocol let alone proper mask handling procedures which also have their own handwashing rules such that everything you remove your mask and then put it back on you will have needed to have washed your hands 4 times. Employees will literally use the bathroom and run back to their duties without using a hand washing station and at times without even washing their hands in the bathroom. Even our food safety training says you must touch the door of the bathroom with a fricken paper towel (I have never seen anyone besides myself do this). No one is changing their gloves inbetween tasks, either, you you can be sure your In Store Shopper has picked things up off the Covid infested floor or removed trash at some point during their shift with the same gloves they are using to pick and pack your orders (Oh, and theyre not following the proper procedures for cleaning the Prime Area either. I would know because I worked there.). And the cashiers, omg. They will LITERALLY take dirty rags to place in a bin instead of just giving you 6 feet so you can put away a dirty rag, and then go straight back to cash handling and touching the items you are purchasing without making any attempt to change gloves, let alone wash hands. One girl who has long fingernails wont even wear gloves, period, even though our training says to keep our nails short and gloves are mandatory for grocery store workers right now. Same with the In Store Shoppers, but many of them refuse to wear gloves or remove their gloves the second they start packing your order. Viral shedding, anyone? Also, this is in Westwood where NO ONE wears a mask. It is DISGUSTING. The ONLY reason I can think of going here is that they accept Amazon returns, and you get get there via the bus 6 and a 10 minute walk. But if you dont drive and youre shopping here, that means you cant do a big shop because of the difficulty in maneuvering around maskless people. Also the Covid risk. The only good thing in the store is their self-checkout which they dont even clean in-between uses, and the one of the last cleaners I saw wasnt even using disinfectant (The disinfectant theyre supposed to be using--J-512 needs to sit for at least a whole minute, not the five seconds max it takes you to walk up to the checkout stand. Theyre also supposed to be disinfecting the regular checkout stands and even the card readers in-between uses, but you can be sure they arent doing that. And if theyre using a blue liquid cleaner, you can be sure theyre not disinfecting anything because thats just all purpose cleaner.) you better bring some lysol and lysol the whole self-checkout stand before you use it.
Even during these Covid-19 times we go here for the fresh food selection. You cant eat it outside right now but it still tastes just as good in our car.
Another favorite Whole Foods, but the reduced star rating is because this store has outlived its shell. Its too cramped and parking is a TJs existential crisis, if you know what I mean...
Whole Foods should be called WHOLE PAYCHECK. Another Jeff Besos P.O.S. company.
Lia, working at the sushi department is amazing!
Nice store very friendly staff and helpful 👍here
Some items are great some items are ridiculously overpriced!
Love a lot of the food they sell here
Always down for a good whole foods .I had a wonderful shopping experience here, no line, nice selection, lots of free PARKING
Best organic food chain store. Now that Jeff Bezos own Whole Foods, Amazon will deliver from here. Staff are always friendly. Very clean. Great selection
Not what it used to be, the overall quality of everything has lowered while prices go up. Staff isnt as friendly as it was before Amazon acquired them
The isles were very tight and crowd
Stopped in Westwood whole foods to get some lunch and went to the basement to use the mens room. Covid mask covering mouth and nose I push the door open and an immediate urine stench punch in the face, and it was that kind of urine thats been hanging around awhile growing strength. I held my breath at the urinal then walked out without washing my hands. I complained to the store manager by the exit, she looked very young for a store manager and seemed like she wasnt too concerned. No way this store is covid clean, never going back!!!
I was assaulted by a customer at the store twice during the same visit. I asked for security but no one could find them. I also came here the night before and bought fruit and found out when I got home that it was rotten and full of mold. Shop at your own risk...
A great place to pick up healthy groceries for dinner with family..
This is my favorite Whole Foods because it has baby bell Gouda
This is one of the True Whole Foods stores in LA, even after Amazon owning it.
I love the produce and meat selection. They have some really good deals in their ads, too.
Good pizza and garlick pepper chicken, and plenty of whole grain foods
On the smaller side compared to other Whole Foods Ive been in. Consequently, not the selection youd expect either. Hot food was disappointing. I had a steak tostada and the steak was over cooked and tough. I would have brought it back if I didnt get it to go.
Fantastic grocery store. Great prices and selection, even for specialty items. Amazing service too. I couldnt find small bottles of white wine for cooking today so they gave me a free big bottle (pictures).
Update - 7/26/19So here, with the long line, registers count the money and leave you hanging. If ask them to ring you up, they go the line supervisor, Kevin to tell you she is going home!Three register open with about a dozen people in each line, you wonder where is the manager and who us minding the store. At last, Cristina not only very pleasantly took care of my items, she went all the way to get a cart for me. While she Aces the service tonight, Kevin and the novice cashier bearly get an F.Originsl review on 6/26/19Eat here at your own risk. You may get food poisoning. You WILL.This whole food should be ashamed for selling unprepared, expired, dried food right out of their deli. The staff are careless and shove everything in an old bread. The meets are dry and old. They make the cold cut sandwiches with meet wraps attached. So so hard and cheating the consumers. OSHA and city inspectors should be called in.Unbearable.WF replied to me to call in and get bugged do in process. It wont happen. Avoid eating here. There are hundreds of fine eateries within walking distance.
I only stopped in this Whole Foods location briefly one evening a while ago to buy some snacks. It was a typical Whole Foods experience for me - decent selection of food, cordial staff, a clean atmosphere you can navigate, and a fine selection of songs playing over the loudspeaker while customers shop. I would absolutely return to this Whole Foods if I was in Westwood and needed something to eat.
You can never go wrong at Whole Foods.
I had a wonderful shopping experience here, no line, nice selection, lots of free PARKING, Angela was so sweet and helpful she took her time and tried to help me with my taco and premade food order. Angela is a 5 STAR employee.
Pretty good whole foods! Just wish they’d have a bigger bulk buy section like others I’ve seen.Staff are always friendly. They accept bruin card which is great if you’re hungry and forgot your wallet. The Tuesday night taco special is fun! Would be great if they had a bigger seating area but they’ve made the space they’ve got work.
Always down for a good whole foods. Try the mushroom jerky. It is phenomenal.
Best grocery around. Excellent customer service. Great produce, meats, and selection of natural foods. Great pharmacy. Parking could be logistically easier to get into and out of.
Great location but have not had 1 good experience with the seafood stand. How does one forget to descale if its only one of two things I asked. The first being the fish...
This is a small size supermarket in Westwood. However, there are all the food you can buy for living. There have vegetable, meat, nuts, fruits, cake, bread n coffee, toilet paper n etc.I particularly like their pastries. They serve meal too.The counters are very fast n efficient.
Great food great quality and comparable prices to most major chains.
I come here quite often, the fresh produce is great & love the Waterloo sparkling water- watermelon flavor! Cashiers are pretty nice & helpful staff. However, I am extremely disappointed with the tuna salad! WHY IS tuna salad $13 a pound?? & its full of onions.. I was starving & figured I couldnt go wrong with the tuna salad..😕 it was just bad! No flavor & about 10 onions in every bite!! Further more, who can afford $13 /lb for bad tuna salad??? I feel bad for the students on a budget! Smh!
Easy parkingNice selectionFriendly staffThis is one of my favorite locations! Generally, Whole Foods is quite expensive but this location offers discounts on the salad bar on Wednesdays and other cool discounts throughout the week.I especially love their granola section its simply the best. The vanilla almond is bomb.Overall great place
High quality and organic products are the best! Their food is always great and they have a vast selection of beauty products plus a variety of health products.
Who doesn’t love Whole Foods? You definitely pay a bit extra for the nice displays and gourmet offerings, but it’s always worth it. It gets very busy around lunchtime, but the numerous and helpful staff keep the lines moving despite the rush.
Their buffet is expensive but got three meals out of it! ($60.00 for two but we piled it on!) Lots of curry dishes, pot roast, barbeque chicken, etc. Its all fresh and kept clean and turnover seems good so nothing sits around. This was at about 1:00 on a Wednesday. Good food you dont have time to cook yourself.
Former grocery store now part of WF stores. Same inventory as all of the others crowded into smaller space.
Lots of variety. All items well marked, looked fresh. Friendly clerks. I did not buy anything, but would like a store in my home town.
Ordered thru the amazon app for pickup at the wholefoods Westwood,CA and are very disappointed. The chicken was expired by 3 days and it smelled and the cauliflower was brown. We paid a premium for these groceries and won’t be ordering again.
My favorite grocery market to shop at, I love their products... I especially love their salad and hot bar. Definitely a great meal when I have no time to cook... which is very often!
I love this place. When I first came here I was not sure what to expect. However, the awesome grocery store owned by amazon was something I will never forget. If you are feeling adventurous like I was, give this place a try!
A convenient location for those staying on wilshire Blvd (15min walk from Kimpton hotel) and the selection is comparable to other Whole Foods. However the refrigerated drinks are poorly organized. There’s a small fridge for refrigerated coffee drinks, and another one for water, seltzer and another one for sweetened drinks and other juices. Not all next to each other. Also, quite a few drinks were out of stock (it was 1pm on a weekday)
My wife and I come here weekly to pick up fresh organic food for our dinners. We love to cook together and would grow our own produce, but we lack green thumbs. Fresh herbs is all we can grow. Whole Foods helps us out with everything else. Great place.
Staff here were exceptionally rude. They also were unable to do returns correctly. I lost money on this transaction.
Great fresh produce, and delicious cook food here. Friendly staff and fast service.
A little smaller than most. Its convenient if youre in the area. Parking is difficult so gove yourself extra time.
Ever since the Amazon purchase, prices have gone down and quality has remained the same. Downloaded the Amazon Wholefoods app for more savings. I usually save an extra couple bucks each trip.
Exelent service
Old looking, dark, small and over filled with products... First and last time going there.
Very nice store. Everything is fresh. Kind of pricey for being in the middle of a UCLA.
Store selection is fine. But they let the lines get sooooo long. It is really amazing. I am waiting in a line 3/4 way down an aisle as I type this. Management should go back to 365 school. Shame on you Whole Foods for these prices with such poor service.
A small to medium-sized Whole Foods that has a covered parking lot right by the main entrance. Two other parking lots with entrances around the corner on the side streets, borders the rear of the store. These two parking lots put you on two different levels with a stairway or elevator to the main floor. You get a ticket in both lights that you can validate inside Whole Foods for one hour of free parking. So now you know how to get there you enter into the produce section which is standard at most Whole Foods. Along the rear wall and far side there are the seafood, meat, deli, cheese, sandwich, burrito/taco, pizza and coffee counters. In front of them, on the main floor are a salad and hot food bar, which you pay for by the pound. There |are all sorts of other things to eat, as much as or more than other Whole Foods. Im imagining that a lot of students might eat here.Everything else is available like any other Whole Foods in the grocery aisles and refrigerated counters. In the past people thought of Whole Foods as a very expensive place to shop, but since Amazon bought them, if you have a Prime Membership and phone app you get some large discounts on special sale items that ended up being cheaper than elsewhere. Even some of the non sale items are now the same or less than local grocery stores. We always get the extra large (over 2 lbs) jar of natural peanut butter, Which is less than any other brand at other stores. Only a pinch of salt and absolutely no sugar or oils have been added like in processed peanut butter.Large pizza slices are $3.50 each and whole pizzas are $12. Depending on the Whole Foods, on certain days and/or on sale they are $10 each.Look for sale items in the email newsletter or on the website and have fun.
I really enjoy the hot food bar. Whole Foods has a much better selection and variety than Ralphs. They switch it up daily and have food for vegetarians, vegans, and carnivores alike 😎Parking is the only deterrent with this location because of its limited available spaces and habit of locals and college students attempting to stash their car for free.
I cant pile on enough praise to make the novice understand how great this market really is. Go do ONE WEEKS WORTH of shopping and then decide if Im on point.
My favorite place to shop when visiting California. Adams burgers are the best. You just have to say Hi to Avii in the bakery department what a pleasure and such wonderful baked goods. Very consistent and tasty.
Exceptional customer service. Wonderful selection of organic produce as well as prepared foods
I actually prefer sprouts even though Im a Prime member. Some items are reasonably priced.
The parking is fine I just feel like that it needs a little bit more cleaning especially on the staircase where you go up to the roof it seems like something spilled their years ago and it looks very dark and sticky and splattered all over the place it got on the cable for my friends electric car and its hard taking it off I think he spent like $250 for the detail but anyway it should be looked into
I love to cook and this is not a store that I should be allowed into without a strict list of things that I need. They have a great variety of exotic fruits.
Grass fed cheese and Keto shake
Worst customer service ever!
Rushed in to pick up some food & had to use the restroom before hand. Typically, serving staff is good at its best. Today however the security lady followed me around like I was up to something, made my shopping experience very unpleasant. I already feel brown enough as it is, being one of the few Mexicans that actually shop at this place but today was exceptionally taunting. Thank you Whole Foods.
This is one of the main Whole Foods motherships that has just about everything you need for a picnic besides Central Park itself.Huge selection. Clean. Efficient checkout. Now get shopping!
Great.
Its ok. I prefer Whole Foods. A lot of the fresh items here are pre-packaged somewhere else and brought in from what I can tell. There is no deli counter or anything like that. Good go-to if youre looking for frozen items. Produce is lacking compared to Whole Foods.
The staff was very helpful
Great food
Food is good but worst cashier I’ve ever met. I don’t know about other cashiers though so won‘t generalize. But it really ruined my night and impression on Whole Foods.
Good food good products good people...
I work about two blocks away and I am so glad! I love this place! Ive never been disappointed because even when I havent liked something they take it back and give me a refund even if I have already tasted it.I usually get the grilled salmon in the seafood section but today I didnt feel like fish, so I went to the hot food bar instead (not to mention, its half off every Wednesday). This is what I got:Teriyaki Chicken: It was juicy, tender and not too oily. I was in the mood for chicken with a hint of flavor and was not disappointed.Baked Plantains: Generous pieces that were plump and sweet without any added sugar. They reminded me of my grandmothers baked plantains because they were cooked exactly the same- Delicious!!Sweet Potato Fries: They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside--just how I likeem!Like I said, I love this place! Although it is not cheap, it is totally worth it. They always have high quality ingredients and great customer service. You wont be disappointed.
A little small compared to other Whole Foods I have been to but the service is great here, the hot food bar and salad bar always looks fresh and delicious.
Dalia knows the secret to Great customer service. She always greets you with a warm beautiful smile, and makes you feel welcomed in this busy little store.
Great coffee and lovely pizza and of course groceries!
They always have everything I need and its high quality local.
The workers were talking amongst themselves and not waiting on the customers. The person at the Mexican food counter was very skimpy on the food portions. The cashier was checking out a friend and held a conversation with the person while other people were in line waiting to be checked out.Not a very welcoming shopping experience.
Slightly smaller Whole Foods, easy parking space, clean and similar selection with other Whole Foods. Eating area is smaller and outside. Washroom is downstairs.
Great healthy food. A little on the expensive side but quality is excellent. I always come and pick up a few items that I need, then bounce lol. Cant do all your shopping here but they have some items that are affordable to us average waged people.
The delay in check in was worth it. Thanks for a fun stay will come back!
This store is situated in the middle of UCLA Westwood where parking is a big problem but NOT this location. There is plenty of free parking. This has plenty choices of healthy cooked food for people who doesnt have the luxury to cook their own food. Staff are helpful.
I needed to use the restroom and the elevator are broken. Only employees can use the stairs?!? So what happens if Im downstairs and there is an emergency?!? The safety hazardous need to be inspected in this location.?!?
