The facility is easy to access, clean, and secure. But most of all the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They answered all my questions and even showed me multiple units to find one I was comfortable with. Thanks Sindy!

Fantastic experience! I had several questions throughout the couple weeks leading up to my booking and was always able to speak to the store manager! On the day the movers came with all my gear, the manager was extremely accommodating and allowed me to switch to a bigger unit, which I desperately needed! Ting and Cristopher are stellar when it comes to customer service. They both took the time to explain how it all works and made it crystal clear. They also walked me around the facility and explained how the gates, elevators, hours and loaner carts work. They answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. They were very accommodating to what I needed in such short notice too. They keep the facility clean and running smoothly. The units are never hot or muggy. I must have checked out 5 other places but decided to go with them because the prices were fair, units were very clean, they have a safe environment and great customer service.

Excellent experience at CubeSmart on Olympic in West LA. Ting, the GM, was exceptionally helpful and efficient from Day 1 in getting us set up and moved in a few weeks later. The facility is clean, safe and comfortable. Everything worked well, the elevators, access to carts, etc. Were now able to move our stuff out, but I would definitely use this facility again (particularly if Ting is still there!), and recommend it to friends and others in need of storage space.

So far so good! I love the security system here. These are a bit pricy, but the units are climate controlled. I had no issues moving in. It was a fast painless move.

Incredible customer service truly top of the line. They helped me with an atypical situation and made it seem like theyve done it a thousand times.Communication whether is via email phone call or message was a 12 out of 10.By the way my entire rental from obtaining the unit, items being delivered inside the unit, removed from, closed out was all remote as I am also on the East coast.They did not miss a beat.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I was moving back to LA from New York City and Ting and his team were so accommodating! I shipped multiple packages to the unit and without any issues they stored all of them for me. Ting’s response time was extremely fast which made things that much easier! I am using this storage for work. Ting helped me so much and is so on top of being helpful and kind in any way. I was waiting all day for a shipment to arrive and Ting said he would call me when it arrived. It arrived at 6 oclock, and Ting called like he said he would, when they were closed. I didnt want them to be locked in the office, so despite it being the end of the day, Ting said he would bring all my very heavy boxes to my unit so I could have them early in the morning. Awesome experience, awesome establishment.

A storage unit containing the last of my late fathers possessions was broken into here and robbed of numerous valuable and sentimental items. After paying >$500/month for a supposedly secure facility, these people wont even return my calls to arrange a refund for the month during which they allowed this break-in and did not provide the security for which we paid.

Ting helped me so much with my move-in. I spoke to him on the phone and he answered every question I had and when I got to the unit, it took less than 5 minutes to get me all signed up. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service Ting!

Self Storage 1 is an excellent storage facility.I have used other storage facilities before and this one is the best. Most importantly, I always feel safe entering and exiting the building. The office personnel have a clear view of the elevators accessing the secured elevators. Every floor is well lit and has many surveillance cameras with a views of every corridor.Self Storage 1 always has complimentary dollies available and 1st time subscribers have the use a free U-Haul truck to transport your stuff.

Both gentlemen were very cordial and accommodating. Great customer service.

Of all the public storage facilities Ive used over the past 15 years, this is by far the best experience Ive had.For the facility, they keep it clean and everything in good working order. Ive never had problems with the gates working, even with 24 hour access. (They dont offer 24 hour access to everyone, but I was fortunate to negotiate that into my rate.) The facility is also quite secure, and the staff is very responsive to anything around the building that needs attention. This location also accepts deliveries for me and holds them until I can get by and move them into my unit.As for the staff - they are all three top notch when it comes to customer service. They are always friendly and go out of their way to make sure my needs are accommodated. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean and secure facility on the west side. You might pay a few dollars more for a climate controlled facility, but all the good things about the property make it worth the price.

Self Storage 1 is the best storage facility in LA. Ive had several storage units in the past and there is no comparison. Self Storage 1 West LA is beautiful, clean and air-conditioned. The facility has all of your storage needs for moving and packing from boxes to tape and even locks for the gates. Its turn-key service at its best. Most importantly the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. You cant go wrong with Self Storage 1!

I recently rented a storage unit at this location and am very satisfied with the customer service and facility. The pricing/contract is straightforward and competitive. The staff (I dealt with Sonya and Robert) were very helpful. Since I live close by, I was able to use their free moving truck to haul things over which saved a lot of time and additional cost. Would definitely recommend this business.

As a youth soccer company we have a large amount of equipment that needs to be utilized each weekend. We were struggling to find a place for all of this equipment to be stored during the week. Thankfully we found Self Storage 1! Their easy in and out facility makes it very simple to load up the items we need and head out to the field for a day of soccer. My husband and I loved the proximity of Self Storage 1. We could get there quickly and it was no hassle to get to our space. The staff their were professional and friendly. Whenever we had questions or concerns all the staff was helpful and great at offering meaningful suggestions. When we originally moved in using their truck was godsend as the size of the truck allowed us to make one big trip. Our time ended there when our needs for storage space changed, however, I would definitely use Self Storage 1 again is we needed storage space again.

The staff here are great, they respond to concerns quickly and compassionately and are willing to work with you if youre having difficulties. The units themselves are spacious, well lit and secure. The location is convenient to the neighborhood and easy to get into, even when traffic is bad in the afternoon. Altogether a perfect storage experience.

This is a great facility! Its very clean and temperature controlled which is helpful in the hot summer months. The staff is polite and really easy to work with. Security gate and elevator access hours are also great which is surprisingly hard to find. And, they dont lock up the rolling platform carts like other places. The only cons are that you cant pay online unless you set up a recurring payment. And, they recently raised our rent quite a bit so we had to leave. They did offer to work with us on the price, but in the end we found a larger unit for less elsewhere. Unfortunately our new facility is older, has fewer security features and is not as user friendly. If we could afford it, we would stay at Self Storage 1 in a heartbeat!

The best access hours you can find if you have a busy schedule (6AM - 10 PM). It’s also very safe/secure and air conditioned. It’s definitely on the pricey side.

Ive been using this location since they first opened – almost 9 years, and theres nothing bad I can say about this place.I like that they enforce their rules and are totally in tune with what (and who) comes in and out of the facility. If problems develop, they are quick to address them and take whatever measures necessary to make things the way they should be. If you want clean, safe and secure storage in west LA, you wont do any better than these guys at Self Storage 1. Theyre first class compared to a lot of other storage facilities. If youve got a gripe at this place, odds are pretty good that they arent the problem.It is as clean as any storage facility Ive ever seen. Theres never a shortage of carts, and they gladly accept deliveries for me on a regular basis. The staff is as friendly and helpful as youll ever find, and they are easy to work with. Ive added temporary units occasionally and they prorate to fit my needs and keep my costs to a minimum.

Excellent in almost all respects. Climate controlled, high-quality concrete building, secure access and long access hours, knowledgeable and friendly staff, free move-in truck, convenient to freeway. Be aware that there are periodic price increases, so that the space becomes expensive even if it wasnt originally. Even so, you may find it a better value than some low-quality firetraps on the west side.

I was welcomed into a happy peaceful vibe at the west LA location.Sonia was a pleasure and was quickly able to give me the keys and a quick tour of the facilities. I left feeling ready to tackle the move and happy with the convenience of the storage facility overall. 5 stars easy.

First let me say that the long time employees were most patient and helpful in every way. The check-in/billing computer system is very quick and efficient and they are fully knowledgeable on all aspects of it. The entire facility is super clean including the bathrooms. There are always easy to manage carts available for the transportation of your storage boxes which is not the case in some other facilities.. A simple code system allows you access when the office is closed.

I agree with the 5-star reviews this Self Storage receives! They deserve it. The staff is efficient and knowledgeable. Security is excellent; theres screens that view the entire building; The entire process was concluded in less than an hour, including a tour of the facility and unit; and precise explanation of how access the elevators.

Very personable and accommodating staff. The facility is clean, safe and very convenient. We used them the last time we moved 3 1/2 years ago and it was a great experience. We are moving again and needed a smaller space and they were able to help again. They also have supplies and a truck you can borrow!

I have been a client of Self Storage 1 for over 5 years. The facility is pristine all the time...the restrooms are cleaned daily...absolutely spotless. The building is air-conditioned and the staff is the BEST! I have packages delivered there frequently for my business and they are most accommodating to take and hold them for me even when I am on business trips.My favorite part is the manager and her team...they are so friendly and sweet...and of course professional. My wife and I have a small unit here for all of our outdoor gear and all the extra stuff that doesnt fit in our small apartment. We access our unit frequently and always feel very safe and comfortable. They offer plenty of parking and their elevators are large. There are always carts to help us load our stuff up. Absolutely the best storage we have ever used!

I came there as a contractor to do work on elevator. I was impressed with the cleanliness of this location from the garage, various floors to the restroom. Isaela and Robert made themselves available to me while explaining the work I had completed. I spoke with a customer that praise how operations work here and the importance of secure access. Self Storage 1 is by far the best storage place in West LA. Sonia and Isela are always so helpful and professional. Moving is stressful and they make this part effortless. I highly recommend this place. It is spotless and they have super easy access to your unit. Ask for them! You will not be disappointed!

The high ratings you see are for SELF STORAGE ONE - but Cube Smart just bought it in mid-October 2018, and Cube Smart is horrible. The place is now filthy, for a while they turned off the air conditioning so even though you pay for an air conditioned unit there was no air conditioning. They dont even email you the monthly bill - now you have to call for it, how stupid is that. Cube Smart leaves one of the gates broken so anyone can get onto the property - again, you are paying for a locked property but the broken gate means unlocked. The previous employees of Self Storage One deserved five stars all the time - but Cube Smart gets zero stars (unfortunately this review system makes you choose at least one star). THeres one guy that answers the phone now and he seems uneducated, rude, and just plain ignorant. He keeps crying that they just bought the place so they havent set up the email system. Give....me....a....break. If they paid millions for the place, they can afford a tech guy/girl to set up the email. Honestly, I will probably move to another storage place -- after three years so happy with Self Storage One -- because Cube Smart is a FAIL in every way - dont take care of the property, its unsafe with broken gates, employee is rude and ignorant, they havent even figured out how to email customers a bill (like the previous company ALWAYS did). Stay away from Cube Smart - go anywhere else.

I had been there for 5 1/2 years when self storage one was the owner. Its a difference between night and day. Cubesmart is the most unprofessional business I have ever seen. During the summer months the air conditioning is turned down. The restrooms are locked after 6pm. I would normally go before 8pm to work on files and there is no place to wash your hands.What if you would like to use the restroom? There is a fee if you go on cubesmart website to make a payment. There is also a fer if you were to call the office to make a payment. One evening not long ago I waited for 10 min for the elevator, when I realized both were broken. Why not have a sign saying that both were broken. I could say more. But I hope you get the point. They appear to be very cheap as they try to nickle & dime you.

I never had any issues here, and the free truck for move-in (within 10 miles Id believe) was a life saver. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the parking/loading area was never crowded, the facilities were always clean, and the price is pretty standard. Security seems solid too, never worried about theft or damage. When I checked out I moved all my things out without giving them notice and they simply closed my account without any extra fees or anything. Ill definitely use this place again if I have any future storage needs.
