SoCal Self Storage is the best storage facility that I have been associated with in over 40 years. They are so great that I was a repeat customer for two long stays until I moved out of state. The staff is the best around, led by their general manager, Ruby. They go over and above to assist customers. The facilities custodian is also the best around -- the hallways and storage unit floors are so clean you could eat off of them. If I every return to CA and need a storage facility, SoCal Self Storage is the only place I will entrust with my personal property.

We just moved from the SoCal Self Storage in Hollywood — shout out to Moses— (after 12 years) to their facility on Sawtelle. Easy transition, free use of their on site moving truck and really nice, clean, easy to access and air conditioned place. Also a great price relative to other (much, much worse) places. Frank processed us in the day of the move and it could not have been easier. Highly recommend these guys if you need storage.

This place was great! So much cleaner and safer feeling than all the other options around town.All the units have Alarms so if someone gets into your unit that shouldnt the front desk knows about it immediately. That was a huge plus for us and our piece of mind. The building is also never open without staff onsite which is another plus you dont have elsewhere.I would also like to note that the friendly staff is always so polite and helpful.They remembered us by name every time we were in, that shows you they care about your, and your business.Jasmine and Ruby are rock stars.Highly recommend these facilities.

I have been searching and comparing storage- spaces for some time, shortly after moving to Los Angeles. Once, I toured the SoCal Self Storage on Swtelle Blvd. LA, I knew immediately that, this was it!! The storage was SUPERIOR to any other storage that I saw. The office and storage- spaces are beautiful and super CLEAN, and they have a spacious parking. The service has been above and beyond, and Ruby (the manager) has been absolutely great!! She is very professional while being also very friendly. She is smart, knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful - a true asset!! The team has been also great. It has been always important to me to do business with people that not only provide good services and products, but are also good human beings!! Selecting and having Ruby as a manager of this facility together with the maintenance of a safe, clean, beautiful storage-spaces and providing all around excellent services is also a great positive reflection upon the owners of SoCal storage and a great testimony as to their values. Since 2003, my family has used this location a number of times to store our surplus household items. Ive worked most closely with Ruby (manager), Mario and Claudia, who have helped me feel at ease with every visit.In addition to being so kind and helpful, Ruby and her staff have provided a clean, well-lit, and safe place for my family to store our things, many of which we have held onto for sentimental reasons. I ABSOLUTELY love this place! I have maintained a unit here for over a year and have NEVER had a bad experience. Ruby, Mario, Jasmine, Carol and Juan have treated us like family from day one, going above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. The facility is ALWAYS clean as well. For months I stored all my belongings at this storage facility, and everyone that works here is helpful, professional and very caring especially their manager RUBY. She always went above and beyond to always give us the best service, always helpful and kind, sweet with a great personality. And to add to it the storage facility was always VERY clean, and well maintained. Plus they always have cold water and coffee for their tenants. I highly recommend this storage. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

The staff here is extremely friendly! When we first came to store my stuff for the summer, they were extremely helpful and made sure we understood the entire process. Moving out was such a easy process and I would definitely store stuff here again!

This is the best storage facility I’ve ever stored at. From day one Ruby and Jasmine have been amazing. They go above and beyond. The facility is clean, the prices are fair and they let you borrow a truck to move your stuff in. Did I mention the free coffee and water? I definitely recommend this storage.

Great staff and facilities

Very helpful and easy to work with. Clean storage, easy in and out access, they have cold water bottles that they give out for free so i stay hydrated after moving my stuff; they have carts which work well; secure storage with alarm system per unit that you check in and out. Very happy.

I am very disappointed I was in this storage longer than Ruby and Jasmine, never had a problem before but lately there were some things missing that were family value and when I call the storage since this incident happen they can see my number and they do not answer . I have seen a couple of homeless that have their stuff in there and they always comes toward the end of the day and they let them in there I do not feel safe anymore in this storage I would like to get this message to the owner so they can now what is going on on their business. Also the other day when I was there one of the homeless was helping one of the employees in the office where no customers supposed to be inside the office where the computers are that was a guy name working there that I told him I found that vey odd he allow a homeless to help him in his computer? If you hire someone that person its supposed to now how to work the computer and not only that how could you allow a client to step inside were the computers are beside there is no cameras in the corridors of each floor only in the exit how cheap could this owner be?

I highly recommend this location for temporary summer storage for UCLA students! Great customer service on the phone and in person with Jasmine and Ruby. We stored our twin daughters dorm room items in a shared 5 x 10 unit and had plenty of room. The facility is a short drive from Westwood (in Sawtelle), easy to get to, in a safe area and off the street parking out front for easy unloading. The entire facility is very clean, safe and well managed. They will prorate the monthly rental fee for college students so the price is better than other commercial storage locations in the area.

Ruby and her staff are friendly, considerate, and will take their time to help you with your situation. There may be other storage places nearby that are slightly cheaper, but on the whole, the facilities and bathroom are always clean and the staff take pride in their workplace. Its not simply just a job that they go to. Ive utilized another storage facility close by and wound up coming back here because of the cleanliness and the customer service. Let me just tell you So Cal Self Storage has been a godsend. They have been the bright light after a very dark cross country moving experience. Reviving my faith that there are genuine people in the moving/storage industry.I was looking for a storage facility in the West LA area. I spent one afternoon shopping all the local facilities, each one had something that just didnt feel right, customer service subpar, funny smells, lack of a secure facility. When I stumbled upon So Cal Self Storage I knew this was the right company for me to store my belongings. And my experience thus far has exceeded my expectations.I just made a cross country move, and unfortunately as many can relate I became subject to a shady cross-country moving company. Moving itself is stressful enough, but entrusting all of your belongings, your home with a deceitful company is stomach turning. I was so stressed to receive my items in one piece. To add insult to injury the movers were claiming last minute additional up-charges for the unloading of my goods. To say the team at So Cal Self-storage bent over backwards is an understatement.First off, the staff members I have engaged with (Jasmine, Ruby, Gary) are warm and inviting. I immediately felt at ease. Understanding the complexity of my situation, Jasmine and Ruby worked with me to best resolve my dilemma. It wasnt here are our units take it or leave it..., they wanted to help to minimize further stress and worked creatively to ensure the last portion of my move went smoothly. THEY ARE EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE AND CARE SO MUCH OF THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE. I CAN KEEP ON GOING DESCRIBING THE AMAZING EXPERIENCE I HAD BUT I WANT TO SAY THAT RUBI THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS THE MOST KIND PERSON. SHE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY. SHE IS ALWAYS SMILING.
