I called a handful of boat dealerships in the Louisville area to check an inoperable fuel gauge on my Caravelle boat. Each one I spoke with let me know that they didn’t take appointments, and that I would have to bring my boat in and let it sit on their storage lot for at least two weeks, if not longer, before anyone could get to it. I then called Sea Ray of Louisville. The gentleman I spoke with said I could bring it by and they’d be able to get to it within a few days. I also explained to him that I didn’t have a cover for the boat yet, and he offered that they’d either cover it for me or keep it in inside storage until the repairs were completed. He offered, I didn’t have to ask. He was very friendly and professional, my apologies for not remembering his name. When I was called back by the service repairman once it was finished, he walked me through a process to help me more easily start my non-fuel injected boat from a cold start. He took the time to explain it to me. That was also offered, I didn’t have to ask for that either. The initials on my service ticket were “SW”. Thank you Sea Ray of Louisville for outstanding customer service and fair and competitive rates on the repair of my boat.

Brian McDonald went above and beyond to help us out when our starter was acting up; swam across the Cove and saved the day! Made sure to let us know where he worked and to come in for any boating needs. We most definitely will Brian!- The Vagabond 😊

Awful. Bought a brand new bayliner. First time out the Bimini top busted off and sank in river. Just an overall attitude of we don’t care, you bought the boat it’s your problem now.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Mike at Sea Ray of Louisville. This was our first boat and from the initial buying of the boat to the hours spent on the water yesterday making us feel comfortable with our purchase, Mike and his team made everything easy. I would highly recommend.

ORIGINAL 08-01-2020 (2/5 Stars):Bought a brand new Bayliner DX2250. Multiple problems with the machine. Bimini top holds water. Bimini top mounts were weak and ripped off during operation. We repaired ourselves with a new ball and socket and some drilling into the wakeboard tower for a stouter mount. Standing water on Bimini top problem remains unaddressed.Having a larger problem with water getting in the craft and running the battery down (2-week MAX idle period or your boat could sink!) via the bilge pump kicking on. One of the deck drain hoses does not seem to terminate properly.You may want to buy a more popular model, such as Hurricane. We will see if warranty work will be completed properly by Sea Ray.UPDATE 9-28-2020 (2/5 Stars):We are very sorry about the issue with the bimini but were glad we were able to get the issue resolved. Thanks for your patience as we waited on shipment of your replacement bimini top. Hope you are having fun on your new boat.This is an awkward response to our issue. We have yet to take our boat in for service to have it fixed. Is the owner of Sea Ray saying that he pre-ordered a top for us? Not sure if they are simply having someone bulk respond to issues or are referencing a different customer. Again, we will see if they fix this.UPDATE 12-8-2020 (3/5 Stars):Spoke to the head mechanic at Sea Ray, several issues were addressed with the boat: Fiberglass, Bimini top, powered USB wires to radio, deck drains, a few other minor issues. I have yet to verify the work has been completed with my own eyes, but at this point I would think they addressed most of our issues.The USB wires to the radio were apparently the main problem with the battery draining. Again, we ALWAYS shut off the battery switch and rarely used the radio at all. This supposedly was a problem with them being wired directly to the radio and bypassing the battery switch. Basically, a factory mistake on the Bayliner end.We never/rarely used the USB ports and I have yet to confirm this has corrected the MAJOR flood/water battery issue that we were having. However, I have to bump up the rating a star for Sea Ray of Louisville giving a much better effort to retain a customer.Lets hope this all checks out when boating season is back. Hopefully we are sinking into a bourbon and not lake water next season.

Boats look nice here. Had planned on driving away with a boat today. However after walking around for 30 min and not even being acknowledged Im not going to recommend this place.

We purchased our boat at the boat show last year. We had a great experience with Ben when shopping around prior to purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us helping us as we were new to boating. So when it came to purchase the boat, we made sure to ask for Ben specifically. Shortly after our purchase we found out Ben had left. I was a little upset at first, thinking no one would be as great as Ben. I was sorely mistaken. Mike Clonch has been over the top in continuing EXCELLENT customer service!! He has went above and beyond in responding to our requests. There have been a few... 😊 He has followed through very timely with each one. We could not be more happy with Mike and Sea Ray!! People have said the best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it, and the day you sell it. To that I say, they mustve had a sub-par boat and sub-par customer service, because Im already looking forward to the day we can trade up. Honestly, you get what you pay for. We will certainly be back here to purchase the next one. They have sold me to loyalty.

All but 1 if our boats came from here. Your choices are superb for new or used boats. The service dept.is knowledgeable and very helpful if we have a problem. They sell life jackets, toys and any supply you can image such as ropes, anchors etc. The river has subsided and our new boat launched for a summer of fun! Sea Ray of Louisville has done a great job on my 2004 Sea Ray Select 240. I have been taking it there over the past several years and they have even serviced the boat in the water at my slip. Brian is outstanding in keeping in communication with me during repairs. The mechanics are good at finding potential hazards such as small breaks in the gelcoat that need repair. The price is fair for the high level of quality they deliver.

Very friendly and informative about all there boats. They let us look and touch a lot of their used boats so we could get an idea of what we wanted to buy. They answered our rookie questions about boat care and equipment.
