Dont get your hair done here. I firmly believe that if Great Clips wont hire someone, Ulta will. I should have known that stylists with skulls on their leggings probably didnt graduate from beauty school with honors. But now that I have hot roots and fried hair Ive learned my lesson. Save yourself.

Stock is available most of the time. Staff is helpful. Never got any hair done but overall good store.

I was out shopping for a new perfume so I thought Ulta Beauty would be quick and easy. Due to covid-19 they had their perfume set up differently. The employees seem happy and helpful however, there was no way to sample them. It was suggested to purchase the perfume and bring back if I dont like it. I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars just to return the ones that didnt work. If youve shopped for a new fragrance before, you know you could smell 10 before narrowing down to the one you like. I ended up at Dillards after all.

Basically, I have a finer grade of brown-black-colored hair with heavy red undertones, and my skin is fair-medium and neutral-warm, olive-y. From the sounds of that, Im one of the last people who should be jumping on the icy blonde trend. . . But, Mandy pulled it off for me and has pics on her phone to prove it! I’ve avoided this store for the past couple yrs due to employees looking at customers as an inconvenience and nuisance. However, today was a completely different experience. Employees were joyful and kind and it was such a pleasant experience. They helped me pick the foundation I was looking for and there was no attitude or annoyance. It was a breath of fresh air in today’s Tumultuous season. INVEST in good employees ulta and in return customers will invest back. For example, I only planned to get one product from Estée Lauder and came out w five more products. Keep up the good work ladies, It was noticed and appreciated!

I was not at the Ulta in Paducah, KY. I was in Louisville, KY. I couldnt get the warmth from this particular place at the time I was there. It is still one of my favorite places for my personal items. Paducahs Ulta is my favorite stores.

Laura is a great stylist. She did my hair the way I wanted it done. Some Hair Stylist try to push their ideas of how they think you should look. This Stylist listened, and did as I asked. Thank you!

Love coming to this location as each of the associates are super friendly and helpful. If they dont know the answer to your question, theyll do their best to find someone who can help! A couple of individuals have started to recognize me when I come in and make a point to say hello; this is a great touch and I always look forward to seeing them again when I go in!The product selection is great, you can find a little bit of everything here from drug store to professional quality.

Decent selection of brands. Friendly staff. I didnt give 5 stars because this store has been reorganized and it was difficult to find things. They also dont carry some of the brands Id like. They were out of a product that I was shopping for. Nobody knew if or when it would be restocked.

Kiki did an AMAZING job taking care of me and my moms makeup needs. Despite the restrictions due to Covid, Kiki went above and beyond in helping us find exactly what we needed for foundation. What an incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, friendly, and helpful woman!

When looking for a specific product, Ulta popped up. Upon a visit to the mortar and brick location, l found the associate was not familiar with the product bring carried at that location. She directed me to another product which would replace the one l needed. I did purchase it because of need only. I am not saying l wouldnt return for the (of course) more expensive product, however if l like it l will look for a less costly location. No reflection whatsoever on the associate.

I went on a Monday. It was great. There were few sales people but there were about a half dozen ladies shopping. I love that because you can really try things on and explore without being targeted by sales. Dont get me wrong, when I have asked for help here, the ladies are knowledgeable! I asked for help with Bare Minerals concealer and the sales lady set me up well! But one of the reasons you may choose to shop here is that you can really explore on your own -- if you choose -- and this lots of space you wont feel crowded (like at the mall).

Sales associates were incredibly helpful, and I was able to find Skinfood, my favorite Korean skincare line ever. The gift bag I got after spending a specific amount of money was well worth it: the bag was cute, and the products inside (brushes, eye shadow palette, gel liner, lipstick, etc.) werent just minis. Consistently the best place to get beauty products in town.

I have been going to the salon here for a while and love it! Karli is so nice and helpful and always does a great job on my hair. I also love the store. They could use some more people working the register sometimes but otherwise people are always very helpful and polite.

I’m a 39 year old man who knows nothing about cosmetics. I visited your store to buy my wife some makeup and stocking stuffers for Christmas. She had requested a set of fake eyelashes, which I obviously know nothing about. After roaming the store for about 5 minutes I finally ran across an employee and asked where I could find false eyelashes. She was older, probably about 60. She showed me where they were and said “ Good luck. I’ve never worn them before, so I don’t know anything about them.” I turned around and she was gone. I was left aimlessly staring at a display of false lashes that I knew NOTHING about, just merely trying to buy a Christmas present for my wife. Luckily, another shopper came by to look at lashes as well. I explained that I was buying my wife a Christmas present and she was more than happy to help and lead me in the right direction. I know it’s not everyday that a middle aged man comes in to buy his wife beauty products. But during the Christmas season, this should be expected and maybe your employees should be trained and or alerted to such. If she didn’t know about this product, maybe she should have gone out of her way to help or find some one that could. I’m seriously disappointed in the level of customer service provided. I ended up spending $100 on various products, but will think twice the next time I give your company my hard earned money.

It took about 10 minutes of me staring at a display before someone acknowledged me or Interact with me. The girl that helped me was beyond fake as seemed that she could care less about my needs. When I told her I was allergic to Clinique brand makeup she rolled her eyes and said “interesting”...like she thought I was making it up. When she finally was able to help me find some product that worked for my needs, she grabbed it off the shelf for me to purchase. I didn’t realize until I got home later that the one she brought me to buy was a completely different color than the one she tried on my face, so I guess I have to go back to exchange...

The staff was extremely helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the products, and are willing to show us great new trends. Its always a fun visit. Even during the holidays, the store is stocked and clean.

Had the BEST experience at Ulta today! I went in for an appointment with the Urban Decay reps but ended up first having a consultation with Jason, the rep from Peter Thomas Roth. He was fab! He shared lots of great skincare information but didnt try to oversell. He was also really fun. Then I met with Jennifer from Urban Decay who was the bomb! I tried colors I would have never tried on my own and learned some cool tips. I will happily drive from IN to visit this store to get such stellar service!

They have high quality items when youre looking for something a little nicer, yet they also have lower quality items which are much more affordable. Their lower quality items arent that bad ethier. I didnt get to spend a lot of time here because I want in a hurry but Im looking forward to going back so I can look around more because they have a large selection. They seem to have a little of everything so it will suit many different types of people. Cant wait to go back and get help from the staff to find out whats best for me!

I have been a long time customer of Ulta and especially of the Salon. Brittany is the best and Larysa keeps my skin glowing with her awesome facials. My main comment is the poor setup of the facial/skin station with the new renovation. There is no privacy and the chair is poor with little reclining and is wobbly. I wasn’t as relaxed and comfortable, feeling that people were walking right past me while I have goo on my face. It would be awesome if the chair that used to be in that space could be utilized. As far as privacy, part of the experience is the relaxation and privacy. Larysa has helped me with buying numerous products I wouldn’t normally spend the money on because she recommends them. I just wanted to give my feedback since I’ve been a longtime customer of yours. Thank you.

They have a variety of cosmetics, like other similar places. They are kind of pricey. Only occasionally they have deals and offers. What I dislike mostly about that place is that cashiers are forced to get customers personal info. If, as a customer, I choose not to, they look at me like I am not welcome there anymore. Management, you should take that under consideration. Not everyone likes to share their personal info.

Expensive items with—at nost—a $3.50 off coupon. However, the staff are EXTREMELY knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.Would definitely recommend this Ulta for anyone looking for more upscale beauty products.

I love Ulta, but this was hands down the worst customer service I had experienced anywhere. I saw a manager (Sydney) being so rude to her employees as they were doing their best to do the work that needed to be done, she belittled them and spoke in a manner that was uncalled for. Sydney was also the one who checked me out, when I tried to sign up for the store master card she told me she did not have time... I thought the customers always came first. I won’t be going back!

Went to get hair re done/ fixed from what my previous stylist could not achieve. Had specifically told stylist at Ulta to fix all dark spots and focus focus focus on getting me light in those areas, well needless to say I had another stylist come consult me before anything happened when she wasn’t even the one doing my hair, not to mention told me I would only have 2 hours time. So my stylist never focused on getting my hair lighter where I asked. one part of my hair I asked to have fixed was indeed fixed, but barely. They kept bringing up “fixing it” by “putting a bandaid” on my hair. I’m sorry I don’t think you should be professional if you’re just going to try and bandaid someone’s hair that is trusting you. I knew something felt wrong going in there, also $170 worth for a “full highlight” which wasn’t what I got. I got more like a partial highlight, she didn’t even go through each layer of my hair. asked her to not leave my cut choppy, and it was. I was so infuriated at the point she didn’t do anything I had asked I was ready to be dry and get out of there. I will NOT be coming back.

I had an excellent experience with both the salon and cosmetics staff. I had a cut, highlights and glaze for $140-Becky was my stylist and after consulting what Id like done, she confirmed the price with me so thered be no surprises. As for the price, the great work she did was on par with the pricier salons so I had no problem with it. Another thing I appreciated was she didnt try to push me into buying products I didnt need. I cant speak for the other stylists, but I would happily recommend Becky! I also didnt come across any snobby associates...I had a negative experience at another Ulta but was very happy with the service here!

Stylists are great here. I had a wonderful young lady, Kelsey, give me a great cut. The Manager got on my nerves...surely there have been complaints about her. She was determined to humiliate the stylists. She was obnoxious, and made other customers feel uneasy. She acted immature, as if she were competing with the younger ladies/stylists.Ill try again because I hate to penalize good hair stylists who are very professional. But I might not keep quiet next time if the manager or supervisor puts on her show again.Stars are for the stylist

Ella, our makeup consultant, was very friendly and helpful! Mally selection was limited and my shade wasnt in stock but Ella made sure to compensate in spending time trying to find all the other products I would need. Price was great compared to Sephora, and the rewards program is super cool too. Would recommend for a wide range of products and colors!

Im confused as to the pricing of this establishment. I came in for a haircut and I was told it would be $86. Please. This is not New York nor LA. Ive gone to several Ultas and that was just outlandish. All I needed was a haircut. She touched my hair like she was confused, and because Im African-American, my hair would be more difficult. -_- Are you serious lady? Then to make matters worse, they had someone walk me out because the store wasnt open, yet I walked straight through the front door without assistance. Terrible! They will NOT get my business for any reason and I dont encourage anyone with African-American hair to go because apparently thats a critical job for them to undertake.

Lots of good products. Knowledgeable employees to answer questions. I have 2 problems with this store though. First, sales often apply only if you get multiple products, ie 2 for $20. If you dont need 2 items you pay full price, which segues into my 2nd gripe. The prices seem inflated, so the sales might not be as good as they seem. Admittedly, I havent compared many products. But when I visited tonight with a family member I thought Id get a Bedhead product I needed. The price was $21 each. I could get them 2 for 20, but I didnt need a 2nd item so I would have had to pay full price. I paid about $13 for the same product last time I bought it at a salon and when I looked on Amazon they had it for less than $10. Needless to say, I left without it. Great if you need help or if they have a sale that fits your needs. Otherwise, price too are high.

This is my last time to enter this store. Ive been here a few times, and each time its the same. No one offers any assistance, or acknowledges your presence. I was obviously looking for something, but the individuals at front were too busy talking to each other to offer help. After going through the store on my own, there were no other customers, I left empty handed. My time and money are worth too much to spend at a store that exists for customer service, but where none is displayed. I will instead, continue to frequent Sephora, where I never feel like a bother, and where people are always willing and available to assist.

I love Ultra Beauty because Ive always loved makeup, nail polish and beauty. I could spend 1 whole hour in ULTRA BEAUTY.

A little pricey but a good range in products

Lots of great stuff by once the good stuff is gone, it seems like almost 2 months before they restock!! No joke! And even when you go in there and ask when they will restock they always give you a day in that week or the next week and it is never restocked! So first coem first served here lol!

I will never be coming back here. I came here to get makeup done for my senior pictures. the lady applied half of the makeup w/ her hands not proper brushes & when she did use brushes they were from the tester displays which is highly unsanitary. she told me I needed to get my eyebrows done professionally & quit doing them myself. when applying eye liner she yelled at me & told me she couldnt finish bc I was blinking. I told her I didnt want any lip product bc I would let my photographer decide based on the scenery & she told me my lips were too small & I needed a lip product to make them show up on camera. also when applying fake lashes she didnt measure just applied & they kept poking. I told her this & she told me thats how they were supposed to be that if I couldnt deal with it I shouldnt have gotten lashes. I do not recommend coming here at all. & I wont be coming back.

Its a shame how I was treated as an employee at this place. I wasnt the only one who felt this way. They are VERY snooty & have the worst attitude ever.

I love Ulta but this store needs a major reboot. Most of the employees there rather socialize with their coworkers than wait on customers. The store is unorganized and whoever does the ordering for the store has no idea what they are doing. Every time I have gone to this store for the past few years there is always something that I want that is out of stock, and its nothing that is on super sale, just an ordinary product. Its frustrating. A lot of the checkout people also dont give you the samples you are supposed to get either and when you ask about them they make snide remarks. Ulta is great online, but if I have to go to a brick and mortar store for makeup I go to Sephora now.

I love Ulta products, and generally I love Ulta stores, but as of today I wont shop at this location again.The store is always a mess: open products (NOT testers, these are actual products customers have opened to try and are just left on the shelves by employees), displays that customers have tested products on and employees have not cleaned up, poorly stocked shelves (seriously, they rarely have their house brand cosmetic display fully stocked, and its always messy looking. Reps on the register could easily be cleaning and straightening this in between customers instead of practicing their best rbf/youre an idiot face), items in the wrong place, employees who dont know where misplaced items go, need I continue?They never have sales fliers, and theyre quite snotty when you ask for one. I wouldnt need a sales flier if they didnt pull all their sale tags from the shelves a day or so early.This was the last time Ill allow their employees to be rude to me for having the audacity to ask a question. What prompted this review today of all days? Well, the woman with dark hair and red lipstick today put me over the edge. When someone asks you for a sales flier, its generally best if you dont look at the customer as though theyre some tacky person/thing you scraped from your shoe after walking your dog before saying that you dont have one and then setting your face into a well practiced rbf. Just a suggestion.

I was in there for over 30 minutes. Everyone else around me got hellos and are you finding things okay etc. It was understandable at first because they seemed pretty busy. But the herd thinned out and literally no one said anything to me. One employee even got very close to me to stock items, and I mean come on, I probably looked very lost. I finally put my bag down on a chair and left while a man and woman employee looked at me wit what really just felt like a gross look.Its a shame that this is the only ulta in the area because it is NOT a good one.

Every single person that “works” at this store needs retrained in customer service, at least they’re all having a blast just hanging out and laughing while customers get NO assistance. Won’t be returning
