Recent incident with my F150 trucks air condition went out late afternoon on Saturday, took truck in early Monday morning. Took my truck in for a diagnostic test before a long trip to out of state. Told me I needed an alternator and a new tire. Paid over 700$ bucks for a alternator and 150$ for the diagnostic test. 2 days later on my trip out of town the truck died on my and continued to die on my while in Ohio. Took it to Ford there and said the alternator was fine. Said I needed an instrument cluster. Paid 1500$ for that and my truck still continued to died. When I got it back to NC and took it to a LOCAL mechanic he fixed it within a day. When The sold called mechanics at Ford put the new alternator on they unplugged half my wires. So I’m out about 2 thousand dollars because of this place. I don’t recommend ANYONE to deal with these so called mechanics
Nightmare repair shop experience. Our car was towed here after a breakdown. First was told it would be a quick fix --- Now they have had it for over two weeks with zero updates, we have to call every single day and we are constantly told they will call us back with an update before the end of the day and never have once.

Disappointed, took me a month to get my truck in the service department. Then the department can’t get a part for at least, what they’re saying, 2 months or more. Could be sooner than later. They called me and told me my vehicle was fixed minus a part, manifold, but still drivable until it Comes in. Well, my truck is still up the creek without a paddle. It’s not working properly. So long story short, I’m extremely disappointed with the service. This is the second time within the last 9 months that my truck was not fixed with this dealership, way below any standard. I’ve spent 1,300+ on my truck to operate as it should but it’s still operating poorly. Fix my truck or give me my money back!

Had appointment for one month plus for getting recalls done. Delivered the vehicle on the 39th of August and 19 days out of them having my vehicle it is still not complete. If you knew you were doing the recall why did you not order the part to do the recall with?
When dropping off car for service they give you a time they say will call and give a message and dont. Hang up when you call service department. Dont answer messages. I get it car repairs take time but at least keep cystomer informed.BUYER BEWARE THEY WILL SELL YOU A CAR THEN YOUR ON YOUR OWN, NO MORE FORDS FOR ME

Not only was I disrespected as a young Native American woman. Their customer service is horrible except for Mr. Tommy (he’s literally the only one there I personally think who knows what he is doing). The GM was rude. The old service parts manager was biased towards me, even made me cry. Horrible place! Unless you’re a light skinned person, don’t go there! Just my own personal opinion. Mr. Tommy I’ll give you (5) stars. But everybody else, y’all get a (1). Sorry not sorry. It’s 2021, y’all need to learn about having compassion and empathy towards people.

Purchase a vehicle from them and was told an issue was fixed before I brought the vehicle come and found out they did not fix the issue and told me I should have brought the warranty because there not going to fix the issue. Bad customer service would never purchase a vehicle from them again.

Have gone to this dealership on Saturday mornings for years to have my truck serviced. Showed up 7:30, when they opened up I was told that I needed an appointment, and the young lady said she couldnt help me today, that I had to make an appointment. She acted it it really didnt matter if I scheduled or not. So I called Smithfield Ford, they said to come on and they would take care of my needs. I now use Smithfield Ford.

I am from Lumberton so when we broke down on I-95 pulling horses we tried to make it to Lumberton where we have family and friends who could help us. When we called this dealership at 1:30 in the afternoon they said they could not help us. Oh well, so much for Christian values. I have purchased 2 cars from the Boyd family of dealerships but future deals will be done elsewhere.
So we purchased a vehicle from this dealership because they had the exact vehicle we were looking for. DROVE THREE HOURS!! We discussed the purchase price and they explained that there were rebates and you had to finance through Ford to get the rebates. The total purchase price was supposed to include taxes, tags, DOC FEE (which is a scam). We paid a significant amount down on the vehicle and the only reason for financing was to get the rebates supposedly. Well after looking at the paperwork that was not the case. The FULL STICKER PRICE WAS USED ON THE SALES AGREEMENT and then ADDED ALL KINDS OF FEES THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED WITH NO REBATES WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get the bill from Ford then notice this. You call and try to speak with a manager and he is OFF supposedly. Then you talk with your TRUSTED salesman and he gives you the run around like he gained amnesia all of a sudden. No manager will call you back like they said. So we got stuck, not that everyone reads reviews but there are PLENTY of Ford Dealerships.
I made an 8:45 am appointment online a few days ago for the oil change package . Received a confirmation email and all. When I arrived, they tell me that they don’t do appointments online and that there would be a 2 hour wait plus 45 minutes!! Mind you, this is NOT on their website!! 🤬🤬

This month for my family and myself has consisted of traveling substantial distances in search of a new family vehicle, for us it’s important to find the appropriate dealership and vehicle. We considered many vehicles, but out of all the dealerships we visited, not one salesperson or manager was professional or seemed to be concerned with our requirements of the vehicle, when discussing our budget, they continued to put it off. Managers tried to sell us vehicles that we didn’t want so I had given up. Finally a friend mentioned how Professional Lumberton Ford has been with them for so many years. So the next day we made a 3 hour trip to Lumberton Ford, we not only Purchased a new Expedition for the family but we also Purchased my wife a new Mustang. Lumberton Ford has by far the highest level of professionalism, and overall concern for their clients. They’re the best I’ve encountered, and we visited over a dozen dealers trying to find one vehicle for the Family and at my astonishment we purchased two. This dealership is well worth the drive. It’s literally the best 3 hour drive that anyone could make. We had my daughters Honda serviced while we Purchased the two vehicles, and the service department is also remarkable. Our Sales Professional even drove the Mustang to our home so we wouldn’t have to make another trip. We usually don’t purchase Fords but from now on, every vehicle will be a Ford, from Lumberton Ford. This dealership is absolutely miraculous, and if you’re looking for a superb experience visit Lumberton Ford. We will be trading the Honda within the next month, and we look forward to parking another Ford in the garage.

I went to Lumberton Ford today to trade in my Ford Explorer to downsize to the smaller Ford Escape. I was able to trade the car, get a great deal on my NEW escape with all the bells and whistles, and decrease my monthly payments. I would highly recommend asking for Jennie or Dale, they work as a team so one or the other should be available. They are awesome people and work hard for the customer. I had been to another dealership previously the same day and spent 3 hours sitting in the office, never stepping foot on the lot. When I arrived at Lumberton Ford, I was met quickly, and within 10 minutes, I told Dale and Jennie what I wanted and I was out looking at cars, sitting in them, test driving, comparing prices. We even rode on the golf cart to the field where the extra vehicles are to look at some that were not on the main lot. It was a hot day, and both Jennie and Dale offered me water, drinks, snacks, etc. throughout the process. Susan in financing was also very nice and helpful. She made the entire process quick and efficient. Overall the entire team was a blessing and provided excellent customer service. THANK YOU!!!

Tried all day to make contact regarding a recall repair on my Ford Escape. Emailed, called, did chat, got no response from anyone. Every person I called went to voice mail. I understand busy but it is not respectful of my time not to respond in any way.
Bought a used F-150 that was at a Crossroads dealership in Virginia. The Lumberton dealership had the vehicle shipped down the next day for me to test drive (under no obligation). Dealership staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Brittany. The couple of issues I had with the vehicle were handled without hesitation and very professionally. Totally satisfied with the vehicle and the sales & finance staff. Havent utilized their service department yet, but I anticipate the same courteous and professional treatment.
The management at this place has NO respect for ANYONE. Trust me I know. I worked for this company for a coupe years. The service manager Robert Shipp is one of the rudest people I ever worked for. So if your looking for a pleasant experience I would advise you to take your business elsewhere. Dont fall for that We are a Christian based company!!
They are always so friendly and do an excellent job on my car for my oil and filter. I get the works cuz it makes good sense that way everything is checked. Went in for a checkup and state inspection. Staff very professional and helpful. Work done in reasonable time, unable to do state inspection due to site at states being down. Returned the following day, in and out with no problems. I am use to the previous owners staff. So far staff at Crossroads are doing a good job.
Unfortunately my Ford Escape would not crank, took it to Lumberton where they gave me a loaner and sent me on my way. It took two tries but they were able to diagnose and fix issue, (fingers crossed) while giving me something to drive. Great friendly staff.
Better now that they are part of Crossroads. Easy to work with but I dont like the service department procedures. Parts and sales are great to deal with. Hopefully Crossroads will improve the service department or maybe they already did.
I always have had wonderful service at Crossroads Ford in Lumberton. Saturday was not different. I was in and out in a reasonable time. I do miss Mike Daniels and would love to know where he is now. He was the person that made the service department at Crossroads Ford in Lumberton. I plan to come back when my Ford Edge needs servicing.

I went in rather unexpectedly looking for a new car. My previous Mercury Mariner died at 270k miles. I was treated like a VIP from the moment I walked in, we located the perfect Escape in their inventory, they handled the financing, and I drove away with a new car in about a total of three hours. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and the quality of this dealership.

Took a week and a half to do 2 hours worth of work. I will say that in that time that gave me a loaner car still dont replace my truck...but when I finally got my truck back it is fixed, not sure if I will take my vehicles here again for time sake. I dont think they have enough qualified diesel mechanics to justify it.Edit: It gets better I get a call yesterday 12/28/16 saying I owe them $44.00 in taxes on labor and parts granted I havent been in that place since before Christmas. I will never do business with them again! (When I left with my truck they said it was all taken care of)
Salesman was nice however we were sold a 2015 lemon that is having issues since 2 days after purchasing and its been nothing but a hassel trying to get it fixed even tho we bought the extended warranty. Very disappointed in their lack to make things right. Ended up having to pay out of pocket to have repairs done rather than being able to use the warranty

Dont waste your time! I thought and was told we are part of Crossroads and can do anything they can in Cary, WRONG! Tiny was cool and did his best but when it went to management, the papers were basically thrown back in my face and told he said if David told you he would give you that for your trade and do the 11,000 off for trading your diesel you might as well go back because he is not going to lose 4500 dollars to do it! I wasted a couple hours there. I went to Cary today and am driving THAT EXACT 2017 superduty for the exact deal! Like I said, drive to Cary!
Will never take my new truck back to this place for anything. Why are diffetent dealerships allowed to charge different prices? Here in Lumberton they wanted to charge $1000 for what I wanted. However, I went on vacation that same week to Waynesville, NC and stopped in at that dealership and they offered the same service I wanted for $600. Why are they allowed to do this. Maybe because a woman.... I may live here in the area, but I will take my truck to Waynesville even when I decide to buy another vehicle. Besides its a great trip.

My 2015 F250 had a computer system malfunction and showed engine warning light. Took in to this Ford Service provider since it was the nearest to where we were. Took 2 hrs to recalibrate computer. They were courteous, professional and responsive. I was pulling a 30ft long 5th wheel trailer and they showed me where to unhitch. Nice! I would definitely use their service if I needed any service.
Was good just that the trk am looking at is a bit higher than what I can afford especially for the year and mileage., but in great shape, just has to be between 5years old to be finance for 72 month

Travelling through North Carolina when water pump went out and had it towed to Lumberton Ford for repairs on a Sunday. They fixed the problem and completed several pending recalls. Excellent customer service and communications while repairs being done. Would recommend to others.
On our way to Maryland our van broke down and it was towed to crossroads in Lumberton. It needs a new transmission so we d3cided not to fix it. Thankfully we had our camper to stay in while we searched online for a new vehicle that could tow our camper. We found a nice 2016 white dodge ram 1500 crew can and it already had a tow package. So we called them and spoke to anthony .they came and picked us up. When we walked in we were greeted and asked for Anthony. We took the truck for a ride and loved it. Everyone was really nice and down to earth. Even when we went into the finance office. He was relaxed not pushy and trying to sell us the extended warranty. I have to say that this experience buying a truck was the best service I ever had, we are thinking of going back on our way to Maryland and buying another car from them when we are ready . We highly recommend Anthony and all the staff for their great service.
Glad I came down from Fayetteville, because Lafayette Ford told me it would at least two months before they could fix a seat-belt recall I had on my F150 Raptor. Crossroads did it within 2hours, great job, thank you. Also, Lafayette Ford had me waiting for two hours to do an inspection, finally I just had, had enough and drove down to Cross roads, where they knocked it out in 30 minutes. Comparing Lafayette Ford to Crossroads service and quick lane departments Crossroads is head and shoulders above Lafayette Ford. I will be returning when I need any maintenance done, expect that from me. Recently had my MKC serviced at CrossRoads Ford Lincoln of Lumberton, NC. I dropped it off at 7:30 and told them Id return around 11:00, but returned 30 min. sooner. My car was finished and they even did the free Lincoln wash for me. It was really dirty and I really appreciate getting it washed. I have taken my car there for all the service work and am very pleased. Great Job!
Recently contacted dealership about a truck they had listed online for sale. Talked with the manager i believe, all seemed good on the phone. I discussed trading my Jeep in and coming in on Friday morning to make the deal. He sends me a message today(Thursday) and says he sold it. I didn’t expect it to be sold out from under me like that. I was very disappointed about the situation.

I have used Cross Roads Ford in Lumberton since I purchased my 2015 Ford F-150 new to service and maintain my truck. They have an excellent staff and very competitive pricing. Acutually purchased a new set of tires from them for less than a local tire discount store quoted and got free rotation.
Unfortunately had to deal with this dealership. Hopefully this review will help others. They claim I needed a $425.00 part when I googled part it cost 25.84 from amazon. Then they told me they had to replace fuses that ended up costing 275.00. When I looked in owner’s manual these fuses are not even used in the truck. They cut open my whole wiring harness. Causing more problems. Would not return my calls or emails.
We were on the road from Florida to Massachusetts when a message came onto our screen Service Transmission Now. At that moment we saw a Ford Dealership sign and then an exit ramp! Praise the Lord, we exited the highway, drove into the dealership and there were still people there at 5:45 pm!! Those precious folks calmed us down and told us to bring the car back first thing in the morning. We were able to transfer our morel reservations from Fayetteville to Lumberton, got a good nights sleep and arrived at the Ford sign early the next morning. Top dealership franchise in NC! I have bought a Lincoln from this location and also the Cary location and in both cases the staff was amazing, gave very fair pricing, didnt play games and had a great clean dealership with a inviting waiting area. This is what a car dealership should be!
Service Dept.I recently bought a 2017 F150. My first new vehicle in 15 years, but was told there was only 1 key. So I called the service dept and asked on 2 different occasions and was told a new key would be under $300 out the door. I ordered it and when it came in I took my truck in to get it programmed. I was called up and my bill was over $300 and no explanation was given. I went to my truck to leave, opened the door.....my NEW CAR SMELL was replaced with a terrible smoke smell. The tech had obviously been smoking in my truck. Way too strong to be just residual smoke. No apology or any remedy offered. (BTW my wife and daughter are allergic).
I think they are a good service.
I was very pleased with the service I received. My vehicle was repaired and back on the road quickly. Will surely return back.
