Very disappointed. Went to have one of my tires looked at and was helped somewhat quickly. Worker took my info and keys and told me to have a seat. There was only one other person sitting in the waiting area. About 10 minutes passed and a gentleman walked in said he needed his G Wagon tires balanced. They took his keys and the immediately pulled it into the shop. I looked outside to see if they had taken my car in yet and it was still sitting in the parking lot where I left it. Got up, asked for my keys and left. Not a way to do business guys. Wont be back.

Everyone there is very courteous and attentive when you are explaining your vehicle issue. They take the time to explain the mechanisms and processes after the diagnostic. Every time Ive gone to the shop I am very pleased, and the big cat is always a bonus. I like the fact that they will take your vehicle on a sufficient test drive so they can better understand what the problem is. Had 2 rear tires put on my truck when I left Mikes I notice something wasnt right, I checked the tire pressure in both tires one had 80 psi and the other had 102 psi the recommended psi is 65. I could of had a serious accident Highly recommend going else where.

Scheduled an appointment for 0800 hours and arrived at 0740, so they could get started early as requested. I sat in the waiting area inside until 1100 hours, when I asked the staff the status of my vehicle because it was still sitting in the parking lot where I left it. They then advised me we are sorry your vehicle was overlooked but we will get started on it. At 1145 hours my vehicle was still in the parking lot. When I told them I was going somewhere else, they decided it was now next in line. I finally left the shop at 1410 hours, after 6.5 hours, over $1300 spent and not even a discount of any kind. Just a sorry we overlooked you, even with you sitting in the waiting area all day.

I went in this morning with a near flat tire.. in less than an hour they replaced a plug that was previously done elsewhere and found a screw and plugged that.. for $20! Honest, informative, and efficient! Highly recommend!

Took very long to get tires Balanced. Said 30-45 minutes and was almost 2 hours...seemed a bit more worried about goofing around rather then helping in the bay area with vehicles. Did solid work, just a tad inconvenient.

Have been their customers for years. Felt so sad that their orange shop cat Maxwell passed away and they now have another one called Wyatt here. :) They are both awesome cats that will calm you down when youre in a hurry mood and help you kill time with the waiting. Came in today for my tire pressure light that wouldnt go away. Called in advance and asked if I needed an appointment and they just told me to come in and they can have it done immediately. They did it quick even though there is a long line of cars waiting there (the flood Imelda just passed this area a couple days ago). As always everyone in the shop is nice and helpful.

Fast, friendly service. I was only in for an inspection, but they were very nice and had me in and out in just a few minutes.

I first took my car to Christian brothers for stalling and a noise under the hood. They said my timing chains were loose and it would cost $4000.00 to fix it. I took it to Mike Smith and they said I needed an alternator and some oil ( I took my car to Christian Brothers a month or 2 ago fir an oil change). My car runs fine and Mike Smith saved me about $3500. I can’t thank them enough!

I waited for approximately 35 minutes for the techs to come tell me I didn’t need a front end alignment. My car is 6 years old, I’ve had it for 3 so I assumed it was due. Turns out it was still in perfect alignment. They could have charged me and I would have never known. They didn’t. I appreciate their honesty and I will be a customer going forward!

Fast service and great people

I got there at like 4 pm needing six tires before I went out of town. The only place they could get tires was from Beaumont, they had a fella go get em and bring em back to the shop. Had me all fixed up by 615 that eve also working late to make sure I was good to go. I will never use anyone else for my vehicle maintenance. Guys were very professional and very well mannered. Highly recommended!!!!

Terrible service. I called ahead of time and checked in for an alignment, I was told 45 minutes until I could get my vehicle in. I showed up 30 minutes in and had to sit and wait 2 hours for my vehicle to be moved into the garage to get the work done. Would not recommend this place at all.

Been going here since about 2015 or so I believe..Will not go anywhere else for work on our vehicle. Whether it is for tires or major work on something They always explain the problems (if any) and are very professional. Prices are fair also.

We always get good service at Mike Smith. They do the rotations on all our tires. They will provide quick estimates for a variety of services or repairs, but put no pressure on you to do them. We recently replaced the tires on our Altima. I priced and discussed several options. We paid a fair price for the set, including road hazard. They also checked the alignment. They werent quite able to get it back within spec due to a worn suspension component. Jose got me a quote for the repair, which was more than we could justify for the age of the car, but also laid out a rotation strategy that would minimize the adverse wear. Again, options and no pressure.We had bought tires from a certain establishment on South I-10 in Beaumont several years ago where we got a good price, but the utter lack of customer service readily made it no deal. After a couple of rounds of rotations, rather than suffer their poor attitude toward their customers we gladly paid Mike Smith to rotate those tires. And when it was time to replace those tires we gave our business to the place with the total package.

Great service, very helpful personnel! I took my work van in for A/C diagnostic and they had the system checked, charged, and back on the road in less than an hour.

Do not use this company unless you want to be overcharged and ripped off!!!This company overcharged us by $147.In addition, the people who work there at so incompetent they had to make us take additional hours of our time to drive back to their location so they could “reverse” a the error.

We were on our way to North Carolina from Rusk, 3 hours into our trip when we blew a tire on our 5th wheel. We were recommended to Mikes Tires by another tire shop. They sent an extremely polite young man to change our flat and he directed us to the shop. We wereextremely impressed with the service and care and they inspected each tire and advised us what we needed to do to be safe on the road. Even though we had to spend the night, at a very nice state park they recommended, the experience we had was better than our own hometown. Wish we lived closer to use Mikes service for all of our vehicles. Thank you guys!

This is the best shop I have been to in a long time. Each one of the men that work there absolutely amazing and treat you wonderfully. A few months back I was hit on the side of my wheel in a parking lot, while working out of town. I came back into town (Lumberton) to try and get it done as fast as I could. Since I was taking the weekend off to get it fixed. I Dropped off the car on a Saturday morning to have the whole car done on that day, as I promised. They were changing a tie rod, a cv axle and an alignment, which I was taken to the cleaners with a $900-1000 bill, can’t exactly rememeber The total. But I needed it done since I had no time to either do it, nor wait another day. Once getting closer to closing time, I get a call where they won’t be able to finish it, and they wouldn’t be open on Sunday, so I would have to pick it up on Monday. I couldn’t be here to pick it up, being that it was my work vehicle, I was in a tough situation to get back to work on the other side of Houston. I figured it out and went back to work while my wife picked up the vehicle on the following Monday. When I got back the following month from work. I drove the car and the alignment was horrible and the car pulled to the side when accelerating, terrible decision going there. I was scammed. I had forgot about this incident from months ago, and yesterday I was changing the shocks out and you could clearly, clearly see that the cv axle was still the old one. I couldn’t believe it, so I called a moblie mechanic, which I trust, to vertify . Which he did, because he could tell from the rust of bolts that haven’t been touched since it was manufactured. Maybe there was a miscommunication with the work being done, but I could see that there clearly wasn’t one when It came to charge the money.

They are really helpful and very nice. I didn’t even have to wait long.

I bought my own tire so that I could match the one on my vehicle. I carried the tire to Mike Smith Tire because of the location. I was able to leave the can and Walsh to do other shopping. I did not ask a price up front. I should have. I would have taken the tire somewhere else to ve mounted. When I returned from to pick up the can I was told it was $40. I was floored. I know of another place that only charges $14.95 to mount and balance a tire. I figured the price would be close to the same. When I questioned about the price the man told me that it was $25 to mount and balance the new tire but there was an additional charge of $15 to take the old tire off of the rim. After that horrible experience I called other tire shops in the area and prices ranged from $15 to $20 for the entire job. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I did not ask a price first. I just walked in and told them what I would like to have done. I know if you have a good experience at a place you are sure to tell the world. Well the same with a bad experience. I am spreading the word about how feel that I was taken advantage of by what I think is price gouging . I called back a few days later and mystery shop Mike Smith Tire for the labor I had done and I was told it would be $20. I think I will just let it ride. I feel if I spread the word enough that Karma will return and it will cost them more than the $20 that I was over charged.

The staff was very friendly as always. My only complaint is that when I walked in, they said an oil change would take 30-45 and it actually took an hour and a half. It kind of affected my work schedule. That would be my only suggestion on which they can improve. Amy Fuller

And when I did realize it they were closed and it was Saturday so I had to wait till Monday to go backOh Gee if you ever feel the need to be talked down to and be told that the way you want something done is wrong go to Mike Smith Tires in Lumberton.I really thought they were not going to move the tire to the front.But they did. Mike Smith in Lumberton always does a great job at a reasonable price in taking care of my tire/wheel needs. They are easy to deal with and have a great staff. My wifes car had 2 screws in one tire. I took the tire off her car and arrived at 7am at Mike Smith shop. I went early so that could be first in line. Two really nice technicians had already arrived and after they opened the bay doors and quickly set up, one asked me what I needed. After I opened my trunk to get the tire out, he nicely took it out and went to work on it right away. Great job. Thanks Mike for a great crew and quick work.

So i was given a quote for full synthetic oil change ($60ish), they did a regular none-synthetic instead. It was very busy their and i was concerned since i use synthetic only. Long story short, i went back after expressing my concern & they did another oil change, no charge!! I did offer to pay the difference, cause mistakes do happen, but i really appreciate what they did. That is why i keep going back.

I was shunted around to four different service writers in the short time I was there. There may have been a reasonable explanation for it but I wasn’t duly impressed.The young guy in the shop that did the initial diagnostic work, on the other hand, handled himself like a pro! I have been using Mike Smith Tire Pros for years, because for years it was great service. I didnt mind paying a little extra for the level of service. But in the past few years it has gotten worse. Maybe they are too busy now? Im not sure, but they keep forgetting and missing little things. About a year ago they forgot to put the oil cap back on my wifes Camry. We found out a week later when the oil light came on and noticed oil dripping from under the car. Last week I had a tire rotation, and they forgot to put the cap back on the valve stem. After sitting all weekend the tire was flat. No one wanted to accept responsibility, and just told me I need to buy a new tire. At this point I am done with them and will visit other locations.

They are good for tires and brakes but one time I wanted to get my A/C repaired and they told it was going to cost me 1200 dollars since they had to take out the front end of my car to get to the area needed to be fixed. I almost went through with it but decided to get a second opinion and they fixed it for 250 bucks without having to take the front end apart. Go for tire service but leave the other autowork to someone else.

Said my rim was bent. It was not before I brought my car up there to patch a tire. The car was checked less than 300 miles ago and had no bent rim. I have not run over anything to cause this. I believe they bent it and trying to put blame on me. Dont go here.
