My experience with AHT was nearly identical to 2 other reviewers here. I tried to schedule a consultation with this company twice to replace the windows in our home. Initially, they asked questions that felt personal, uncomfortable, and unnecessary for a window replacement quote: how long Ive owned my home, what my work hours were, if there was anyone else on the deed, my husbands first, last, and middle name, his work hours. As I got more uncomfortable, I politely refused to answer any more questions over the phone. Then it came time to schedule a visit. They pressed me to schedule something where both my husband and I can be present. I told them that was going to be difficult because of our conflicting work schedules but also wed prefer not to have our young, unmasked kids here when people outside our household are going to be in the house. It is the pandemic, after all. They then said theyll call back when my husband and I have looked at our schedules and can find a common time for them to come out. They called again several times over the next week. Finally, I picked up. Again, we tried to schedule something, and again they refused to schedule me without my husband. I told them my husband and I trust each other to make decisions and keep each other informed. They said that its about more than just quoting a price. At the consultation theyll discuss color and styles too. So what?? That is also something my husband will trust me to make a decision about. I told them its strange that theyre turning away business. Here I am, trying to get them to come out to give a quote. They just reiterated their policy of needing both people present at the consultation. So I said I guess Ill call someone else. My guess is they want both people present at the consultation so they can get the contract signed then and there without the excuse of Ill need to talk to my partner.
Anissa was very friendly and infomative! She did a good job with her sales tactic as we will be getting a new patio door!
Craig was amazing at his presentation! Very professional and very kind! We love the time he spent explaining their processes! We absolutely excited about our purchase!
We had one set of our windows replaced about a year ago and loved them so much we went back for the rest of our replacements! Scott is wonderful, and the installers are fast and professional.
Really like the ease of operation, energy efficiency and they look good
Rep was very knowledgeable. Product not installed yet so I’ll review that later.
Energy efficient, warranty salesman with great personality and informative.
Since replacing my windows my energy bills have never been lower. And my plants love the extra light.
Awesome service and a great value with our windows. Bought part of them 4 years ago and they still look beautiful! Finishing our home with the rest of the windows and patio door and couldn’t be happier! Thank you Craig for another wonderful experience!
I met their rep at a home show two years ago. They wanted me to enter a drawing and promised Id only be called once. Initially they called me every week for a while. Even two years later they call me at least once a month even though Ive made it clear I will not use their company. Dont give them your info they will NEVER leave you alone.
Will not stop calling me!! They continue to call me weekly, for over a year. I am not even a home owner. I told them this and they still call. Its so annoying and they keep telling me that they need more information from me. So strange!!
We have replaced all our windows in our house with AHT Windows! We love how professional they are (both sales and installers), the high quality of the windows is phenomenal. Great warranty. We know we have made a good choice and investment in our home!
Anissa Trefren was very informative and knowledgeable explaining from replacing, installing windows in our home. She made the process very easy and hassle free. She sold us on purchasing AHT windows when she demonstrated the heat shield and how well the new windows will keep the outside elements from entering in the the house. She did a great job in demonstrating the quality of the products used in the manufacturing of the windows.
Energy effect. Warrenty
Over all experience was good. I like the product theyre selling. A little bit on the aggressive side with selling but truly what sells person isnt. Was happy they were willing to build a customer base versus fix whole house for $70k and disappear.
We had windows put in our condo and are extremely happy with the installation and the warranty. We have recommended to friends and will continue to recommend.
Had a great experience with the install of my windows. I have and will continue to recommend this company to others. Well worth the investment, love the quality of product and worksmanship.
They were very persistent, but appear to have very high quality windows, and eventually were able to work with us on cost to make the price reasonable. Looking forward to some new windows, hoping they walk their talk.
AHT installed our windows. They were very conscious of our belongings and took special care. We recommend AHT to others.
I think it is worth sharing my experience with this company. I had a sales representative, Scott Mueller, out to my home last night to provide a quote for replacing the old windows in my 150 year old farmhouse. Before he even came out there were probably 5 or 6 different phone call exchanges with the company, each call asking me to further verify information and asking for personal details. They made one call to specifically ask me if anyone helps me make decisions! It seemed obvious they were fishing for a mans name. I bought my house. Me. Its an accomplishment and I resent being knocked down by having to cough up my boyfriends name before they would let me off the phone. When the guy showed up he was very friendly, of course. He took measurements and showed us all these tricks about how strong their windows are... yadda yadda typical sales rep kind of stuff. However, when it came time to actually hand over the quote (of $46,000, mind you) and it became apparent I was not signing anything or purchasing anything in that moment, he became very hostile. He kept saying if I dont like the product then I must want cheap windows or if I dont sign while he is right here I will miss out on a discount (about 1.5k off something that costly isnt enough to make a hasty decision). I thought he would never leave. At one point he offered to wait outside so I could talk it over with my boyfriend, no! When he finally was leaving he said in a very rude manner that he was sorry nothing could work out when all I had asked for was a day or two to think it over and evaluate my budgetary priorities. Ive never in my life seen a company that doesnt expect you to take some time to think over a decision that large. The windows did seem nice, but not nice enough to forgive such horrendous customer service and salesman tactics.
Craig gave us a very thorough presentation and we really liked the windows hes selling. We are very much looking forward to having our new windows installed!
They came out to give us a quote. Great service and products.
I felt it was necessary to post it. I called the company last week to setup up a consultation for my home but I was confronted with rudeness.I was being pushed to confess that I was married, give my husbands name, his phone number, and working hours. I repeated over and over to the receptionist that I handled these matters, and that it would be difficult for my husband to be around for the consultation. She kept pushing and told me she could not set up the appointment because both spouses must be available per company policy. This company needs to look over their policies. I am well capable of handing important matters on my own and shouldnt be forced to give information about my household situation nor should my husband need to be present for your company to do business with me.In a single-parent/single occupancy household (not to mention any and all alternative family structures we see all over the place) this would seem incredibly ridiculous and just counter intuitive. This all seems way too backwards to be allowed as policy. Just because its policy doesnt mean it is correct, reasonable or even necessary.
We made a deposit over over $1000, yet when it came to install, we were told we would not get nearly what the sales person told us we would get. So now we are out our deposit and AHT has been less then professional, if your looking for windows, look elsewhere.
Im having Windows replaced in my home and am excited for the change. I needed new Windows, thank you AHT.
Great place to work!
This company has called 10 times in about 2 weeks time. Absolutely horrible and pushy.
Wonderful company to work with. Would highly recommend them to family and friends.
