Was given a date for installation today and was told 8 to 10am they would arrive then got a call at 930 and was told that they wouldnt make it till 11-1. Well 12:45 hit and got a call they need to reschedule. I took the day off of work for this took down all blinds and curtains and moved all furniture out of way like I was asked now they cant make it for 2 days. So I have to take another day off and install and remove blinds and curtains. I will no longer recommend this company to my family or friends or use to for siding which will be done next year

We had Feldco replace our front door earlier this year. We were very pleased with the design representative that we worked with to create a unique entry way door that had interesting design features and let light into our home, while maintaining privacy. The door was rubbing a little after installation, but they came out and adjusted it right away. Very pleased with the company and the process from start to finish.

I was excited to get new windows. My house needed it. I researched. I read reviews. I went with Feldco. I’ve had my windows 2 months. I called after about a month because I noted my house was COLDER with new windows. Same heat settings. Lived here many years, including during the polar vortex a few years ago.They sent someone out same day. He had a screw driver with him. He said basically .. looks good not our problem. Adjusted handle on patio door.I called again this week after noting FROST on several of the encasements of the windows. Along with frost along an entire window bump out. Again sent out a service tech same day. This tech was AMAZING. He clearly thinks this is a problem. He immediately said, this isn’t right. Said I would hear something same day from his manager. I didn’t.Call 3 I called and left a message. The manager who return my call was condescending, kept repeating I have a condensation problem and the humidity is too high in my house. That the installers that did my house are “great” “he’s got no concerns about their work”. Again since getting these windows - 2 degrees heat higher and it’s FREEZING in here. During the polar vortex I didn’t need to do this to be comfortable. I never had frost with my old windows. After arguing with the manager, the same AMAZING tech comes out. After 4 hours of labor still working to correct the issues.Bottom line, if you want / need to spend thousands on new windows go with a different company. When I decided to make this investment I didn’t plan for ongoing service calls or Arguing with managers who think I know nothing. I am thankful the tech is doing right. However when your spending this much money you want / expect the job to be done correctly the first time. The tech will be back again to continue fixing ...

We had Feldco install a few windows for us in Fall 2019, so weve had them just over a year. For the price we paid for the windows, I expected top of the line service all around, but was sorely disappointed on several fronts. I hated the sales tactic where they came and talked to us in our home for about 2 hours (who has TIME for this?) and pressured us in to saving more money by booking NOW. They were our first quote, so I had nothing to compare to. If they were our last, it wouldnt have been as big of a deal. But we went with it. After paying half the cost up front, someone came to measure the windows, and we were told it would take up to 8 weeks for them to arrive for installation. 8 weeks came and went without a word, so I had to call them to find out what was going on - that they were behind schedule. I expected a phone call from them if that was the case. The folks who installed the windows seemed hurried and didnt offer to put booties on when walking through our home in their work boots until I asked for them. After windows were finally installed, they wouldnt lock properly. I had to twice call Feldco to have someone take a look at why they wouldnt close and lock properly. Ultimately that was resolved. But now that its winter, I notice that one of the windows is STILL not sealed properly - like the lock is not catching, even after pushing on the window from the outside to close it as tightly as possible before locking it. So I need to call customer service a 4th time to get someone out here to stop the window from leaking freezing winter air into my sons room 24/7.The windows look nice, and the ones that actually seal properly are really great. But I cant get over the mediocre service and this window locking issue on a brand new, very not cheap window. Definitely look around - we wont be using them again.

On Saturday the 27th I had feldco come out to give us an estimate on siding as I ordered windows in January had a good experience and fair price at least I hope. The sales guy was polite and courteous and was only doing his job how he was trained. So I dont hold salesman at fault. I told the sales guy I would like fascia as well as I didnt like how they turned out. He told me I would need new gutters, down spouts and fascia as well. I didnt agree as they are only 2 years old. He said they would not be able to take them down without damaging them. So he gave a price for everything as he wouldnt give me price for just siding and fascia.After he gets done measuring he came in and gave prices for everything. As soon as he told me how many squares I would need for siding I immediately knew the measurement was not accurate as I bought siding for my house last year and bought 16 square and it covered the whole house. Replacing siding because I didnt like how it was installed. He came in with a quote for 20 squares and I believe he was instructed to quote for 20 squares. I didnt sign contract as I wanted to find my receipt for siding I bought the previous year to confirm 16 squares.I called back on Monday and talked to salesman and asked how he came up with measurements as I have bought 16 squares the previous years. He said his measurements are always spot on. Are they really or has nobody ever measured after they left or called them out on there measurements. He really had now answer and just started making excuses. I asked if extra 4 squares was to make up for the 20 percent off sale. No answer. I asked if I would get a refund for siding not used and said he would have to check in to that. I told him I would like a new quote at 16 squares with 20 percent off that and still want intial visit discount. Was suppose to get back to me today. I never heard back. I was going to give them a chance to right there wrong. If you are looking at getting siding through Feldco ask them to verify measurements with you so you no they are being honest.

Rating would be higher, as Feldco did an amazing job on our windows and doors last year. But, we have been waiting for an install date for a couple weeks now and keep being told their system is down. I am not sure how long it takes to get things back up and running, but I would think it would make it hard to do business if things were not working for weeks. Our check was cashed and now here we sit....waiting and waiting.

I had a really uncomfortable salesperson come to my home to discuss installing a new patio door. I had such a good experience 2 years ago when Feldco did all the windows in my home, and I was excited to work with them again. However, the salesperson has been rude in their communications to me, is doing a bait and switch when it comes to pricing, etc., I no longer want to work with Feldco. Since JULY I have made three phone calls, sent multiple emails, and have been told a manager would reach out within 3 business days. Its literally been over two months, and no one has called me, no one has responded to my email either. I am contacting my credit card company to report fraud to try and get my down payment back. AVOID!!

We wanted to replace our sliding patio door with a set of french doors to open on to our patio. We spent weeks talking to several different big box stores, lumber yards and window/door vendors who come to your home. I sent a request online for Feldco to contact us at 8:00 at night. I dont think 30 seconds went by and my phone rang with a Feldco representative. They were able to have someone visit our home the very next day, actually evening. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Feldco was able to meet all of our requests, give us a reasonable price and promise to have it installed by the date we needed it. They were out to officially measure at 8 a.m. the next morning, the door was ordered and came in within 2 weeks. An install date was scheduled and the team of installers showed up on time. There were several people there at first to remove the old door and bring the new door in. After that, a few left and the rest finished up in the time they had given. They were very efficient and polite. We were very impressed with the installation and team work the installers exhibited. The door is beautiful. Looks great and feels solid. We are very happy with our decision to buy from Feldco!

Our experience with Feldco:1. The on-site assessment-and-sales call.We wanted 7 modest-sized double-hung windows and one small picture window for our sunroom (to replace some installed by our predecessors during their tenure in this house). We solicited several assessments and quotes, with Feldco scheduled as last. The Feldco assessor/salesman talked us through our needs and options, and gave us a reasonable estimate. And then, he offered us a reduction in price if we would order today. We had the information we needed from the other quotes; the Feldco offer-and-technology was responsive, price-competitive, and technologically sound; and, we could compare quotes (internally) so as to respond to him directly without problem (though we would have discounted him, the tactic and the offer if it had occurred earlier in our project-planning-process and jepordized our information-gathering).2. The initial follow-up.A site-assessor came to visit us to inspect the job-site, take the dimensions of the window frames, and answer any of our project-related questions. He was quite good. With respect to the frames, he measured them all quite expertly, found that they varied a bit, and made notes for the installers. With respect to the project, he was able to tell us, in some detail, about the likely work schedule, the work-site preparation, protection and clean-up we could expect from the installers, and the kinds of outside/inside site preparation we could do to make their work a little easier (something I was interested in if it would advance the installation process, and, would preserve our furnishings as well). He left us his phone number (against the possibility that we would generate any more questions for him), we had occasion to use it, and, he reponded to our inquiries.3. The installation team.It appears to us that Feldco employs subcontractors to install their windows (rather than employees). Our installers (a team of two) travelled to our home from the Chicago area. They arrived on time; they worked as energetically/professionally as anyone I have ever observed; and they left our home as clean at the end as it had been at the beginning of their work. I was impressed with the care they took with every phase of the work, and was quite impressed with the exterior cladding (I am not sure I have ever seen anyone work metal quite as well as the senior installer did). In any case, they were very professional, I am pleased with their work, and I would work with them again should the need and/or opportunity arise.4. SummaryThe windows are doing exactly what we hoped they would; we are happy with our overall experience; and, with a caveat for readers who are soliciting multiple quotes (in which case we suggest that you schedule Feldco last in your information-gathering process), think we can report quite a satisfactory experience.

Feldco did a great job from start to finish. The salesman explained all the features of the windows and the warranty. He showed us the different options available. It only took about 2 weeks for the windows to come in and they scheduled the installation when it was convenient for us. The installers showed up on time and did a great job cleaning up. The windows look great and would consider using for future projects.

Feldco is an amazing company. We were able to have all of our windows replaced at a reasonable price. We love our new windows and the care team at Feldco is outstanding. We are excited to use them for our siding, garage door and front door needs in the future. You cant beat the service or the price.

I have changed my Patio door going into Sunroom last summer. Feldco Window of Madison did a remarkable job. I faced some some issues with sunroom carpeted area and existing vertical blinds. They worked with me very patiently and made me a happy camper. Issue was going for very long time but with their options of fixing the problems, I was able to make that area very articulate. I 100% recommend them to new customers and will hire them again.

Great quality product with great quality people. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, informative, and eager to help. They made the whole process from start to finish easy. I can’t recall a company that I’ve ever done business with that is this invested in their customer service and ensuring customers are happy. We recently had 2 new storm doors installed by Feldco at our home. I can say that the experience was top notch all around. We are very pleased with the windows we had replaced. 17 windows, including 4 very large tempered glass windows. Didnt charge extra when they realized the 4 windows needed to be tempered glass but had failed to include that in their quote. Great job and done in 2 days, start to finish.

We are very pleased with Feldco. So pleased in fact that this was the third time we had them out to do work on our house. First was windows, second was siding, and third was another portion of windows. Salespeople are very professional. The people that do the work are on time and get the job done from start to finish. I hired Fedco to replace the windows in my house. They were professional and everything went exactly as the salesperson said it would. He saved me some money by combining some of the double hung windows into one. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything nice and clean. I also think the way the windows are constructed are superior to anything else I looked at. I got quotes from 3 other companies too, and the prices were comparable for windows that were not nearly the quality.

I will never be working with Feldco again in the future. I cannot adequately articulate the amount of frustration I experienced as a customer in the drawn out 4 months it took to get our siding done by this company. I felt bullied into signing a contract at our initial meeting and was lied to continuously about start dates and promised end dates. Thankfully the installers were good guys and the siding looks good but it was not worth the headache of working with this company.

Feldco let me down again today...was supposed to replace the french door (they installed the wrong style 6 weeks ago & had to order a new one). They didnt show up to install that door or the other door they were supposed to install. I expect to get all of my money refunded; Ill find a reputable contractor to finish the work.

Positively wonderful from start to finish! The timing of my exterior door order was such that it had been raining for several weeks by the time they called to schedule the installation. They apologized profusely for having taken so long to get the installation scheduled but, due to the rain it was unavoidable. At that time, they were still 3 weeks ahead of the promised delivery date, so I was impressed that they were early. When it came time for this installation to happen, the guys that came to my house were extraordinarily talented at their craft, and made sure that any of the structure was up to their standards between tear-out and installation. They actually replaced some framing that had the beginnings of rot so that I wouldnt have issues in the future.They were so thoughtful about how the doors swung, and shut (no hip-checking to get them to close!!) and even the height at which the storm door handles were placed for my comfort. They paid so much attention to detail...the metal flashing even had to be perfect - and it WAS! I am so pleased with my new doors, theyre the first impression that people get when entering my home and the quality and workmanship are second to none.

The representative who gave me a quote was pleasant and thorough. The fellows who did the installation were very professional. A small problem I had with the storm door was evaluated promptly, and resolved to my satisfaction. I would do business with this company again!

This company did an awesome job! Competitive prices with great service. 5 guys showed up the morning scheduled to install 7 double hung windows and a patio door. The patio door was a complete gut and install mind you. Within 5 short hours everything was done and cleaned up. They even washed the windows inside and out before leaving.

The entire process was seamlessly unexpected. I figured on having a problem, since my door was huge and over sized. But, to my utter amazement. The price, the order process and installation times, were very reasonable. But, the price, was way below, what I could get, from a big box store. Called this company for an estimate. I tried to get a quote on line and they called me non stop for 2 days. I called them back when I had the time to talk to them and get the estimate set up. I got thier call center I think the womens name was Takisha. She was very rude on the phone did not want to answer questions until she got my personal onfo. I asked about the wood windows she said they were all vinyl and they had some that look like wood. I said I would not like that kind. She preceded to hang up on me at that point. I asked what are you doing and she said that we dont have those so she assumed I did not want an estimate. I said this was the hardest company I have called to make an appointment with, she then hung up on me. I called back and no one answered the phone. I then used my husbands phone and she answered again. I told her I had called and got hung up on, she said she was the one whom did that. I asked to speak to some one else, she said OK. Then put me on hold until I finally hung up. Guess they do not need the business if they treat people this way. I have owned a business and have been in customer service all my life. I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was referred to this company. But they obviously do not need my business.

Called to have them come out and do a quote but they wouldnt except my work number, which is my primary phone and attached to me at all times. When I couldnt provide another number to be reached at the lady told me that she couldnt help me. Clearly they do not want my business and I have never had a company that intentionally turns people away. I would recommend going to a place that values your business.

I had Feldco replace all of the windows in one unit of a rental property. Service and quality were great and price was fair. Will use them for the remaining units soon!

We love the windows. However, it is now going to be 6 months before everything is complete. This includes repairs after installation. The installers were great, its the follow up that has been less than satisfactory. A lot of excuses and it seems we always had to follow up with them on when parts would be in for the repairs. I would not recommend Feldco to anyone.

**update**On 8-27-15 a manager called me and listened to the situation. After hearing my side of the story and talking with me he refunded a partial difference of the Feldco quote and a lower comparable quote. It is the best he could do. I appreciate it. Based on the experience of the manager I moved their score from 1 star to 2 stars.On 7-17-15 a salesman Feldco came to my house to provide an estimate for new windows. I asked him if the windows were new construction install or replacement and he told me new construction. He gave an estimate of $2300 for all 4 windows. After getting other estimates Feldco stated that they were going to send a manager out on 7-31-15 to give a better deal but they ended up sending the same salesman back out. He initially quoted us a price that was $600 more than the price he left the first time. I brought out the quote and he said that he would honor that price. I again asked him if it was going to be a new construction and he again told me yes. On 8-20-15 the windows were installed. They had installed replacement windows and not new construction windows. I contacted the salesman to tell him about it and he contacted his manager who contacted me on 8-21-15 about the situation. It was stated that they do not do new construction installs and he does not know where the break down in information happened but he would try to do his best to satisfy me. He stated that he needed to have a specialist come in and check the windows and he scheduled that to be 8-26. On 8-26-15 the manager contacted my spouse and told her that he could not fix the windows or lower the price but he was going to give us gift cards. When the specialist came he repeated that they were not going to fix the windows or lower the price but give us gift cards. My wife informed him that it was pointless due to the fact that we would never be using their business again. The gift cards that were given also expired in 4 months

Our home needed a couple front windows, an entry door to the garage, and a full view storm door on the front of our home to show our beautiful front door. We had done business with Feldco in Rockford, IL in the past where we had multiple windows and 3 patio doors installed at an expense of $17,444, in our home there, so we thought wed try here.The lady came out showed us the products, and we came to a deal. During that time we had gone over the front screen door, which our old one had a bar in the middle. She showed us a Full View screen door from the brochure, and we stated we had one similar in Rockford, and thats what we wanted for our door here.The installers were terrific and did a great job, but the screen door wasnt what we had ordered. We let one of the two installers know, but he said this is what was ordered. We contacted the lady that took our order in our home, and we immediately found out she no longer works for the company. I contacted the Manager, and he stated that theyll find out and make it right. The gentleman that done the final measuring for the products was the one that set it up to have the front screen door looked at. I received a phone call today that disturbed me, the gentleman stating that we have the correct door. Its virtually the same screen door we had replaced! I let him know what we had ordered, what we had in Rockford, and the business Ive done with Feldco in the past. When he stated that they dont make a door like that, I stressed what I had in Rockford, and he kept asking me if it was a Feldco door. NO! I was just letting him know what I had there and the business Ive given his company. Letting him know Im a return customer.Thus far Im not happy. They have the chance to make it right, but right now Im not happy with this particular Feldco location, but Im willing to amend this in the future. For giving me something thats definitely different from what I was shown in the brochure, making me go through hoops, and the fact I was told they didnt make a door as I was describing, Ill give two stars. Thats mainly for the installers of this particular location.

Overpriced and absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The tech measured the exterior door we had ordered incorrectly so they had to reorder a new door. This took over a month and a half to actually get our new door installed. Then once the correct door finally arrived they didn’t have all the right equipment to install it. It took them 4 trips out to our house just to install a front entry door, AND they never finished sealing the outer frame. I have called and left voicemails for the operations manager to see if they are ever going to come out to finish the job (almost 6 months since I ordered the door) and I have not received any reply. Horrible experience and the worst service imaginable. How hard is it to measure an exterior door and order the right parts to install it in one trip? Apparently too difficult for Feldco to accomplish. Go to Menards or Home Depot. You’ll be much happier.

Had a large (120 inches wide) front window replaced and the process from sales to installation was problem-free. The options for the new window were clearly explained, the order/installation timeline was accurate, and the installation was carried out efficiently and professionally.

All the work was done carefully and looks really great. I had my garage sided, a new garage door hung and a new window put in and I can nowbe really proud of how it looks to the neighbors and to myself.

Numerous addendums had to be written up and signed, and then resigned due to entry error, with the agent showing up at my place of employment without even calling ahead to ask. salesman missed a couple things that the window tech caught later which ended up costing more which wasnt a huge ordeal but then i was forced to pay the difference out of pocket because the financing was already set up. again with the salesmen showing up at my place of work unannounced to sign another form and collect payment without telling me prior. just sitting here waiting to see what the next thing to go wrong will be....

Within four weeks of my order I had my breezeway and garage windows installed. I had used Feldco in the past when they installed 16 windows in my house. They gave me a good price on the breezeway and garage windows so I went with them. Their product and service were exceptional. The two Petes who installed the windows were exceptional! Within a few hours they had the windows installed. They answered all my questions, picked up after themselves, and didnt harm any of my plants that they had to work around. Don’t buy this service. The quality is average and the service is spotty at best. If you need a repair it is the cost of a new window. Rip off artists. Can’t believe I got suckered by them.

Since purchasing our first home, we have used Feldco for windows and recently siding. We have always been pleased from start to finish.

I made the mistake of sending a detailed door inquiry through Feldcos web site - asking about a very specific entry door configuration that I was having trouble finding. They left a generic voice mail message, which sounded like it came from a busy call center, and which didnt refer to my questions at all. I found that unpromising, so I focused on other local business that actually responded to my inquiry. By now, several months later, Feldcos telemarketers have called my cell phone dozens of times. Luckily, I have their number blocked. But I wish I hadnt given them my number at all.

Contacted them about service area and they said they would get back to me. They never got back to me.

Terrible experience with a salesman this week

Got good info on windows.

They were reasonably priced, installed on time, and the installers were excellent.

They advertise 50% off then salesman gets here and said well that’s only if you buy 4 or more windows! That’s false advertising....Then they want to replace my window with one that is way overpriced and it is what they call an inset window, meaning you get a smaller window for a higher price! I want a full frame window which is a real window replacement not a mini.

Everyone at Felco from the original salesman to the showroom manager and the installation crew was great. Especially Maximo the installation manager. He and his crew came out on one of the hottest days in June to install our 11 windows and were awesome. He and his crew were very prefessional and did an amazing job on the installation. We couldnt be happier with our new windows. One of the window shashes was manufacutured backwards and they had a new one delivered and installed within 10 days. The original window order was also completed a few weeks ahead of when we expected it. I would recommend them to anyone looking at replacing their old windows.

Hired them to replace my Garage door waited a month. They came took the old one out and put the new one in and it doesnt work. I now basically have a wall where my door once was. That was 3 weeks ago and my Harley has had to sit out the whole time. Next call is to the BBB

Couldnt get past the person on the phone. Scammy.... Call someone who will talk with you. Not demand to send a salesman out when you dont need or want one...
