Ive purchased several pairs of glasses from this location. The service has always been great! Most recently, I broke a pair of sun glasses ( in fact the second time), and went in to get them replaced. I had a coupon which they honored and when they noticed it was my third pair in a year they provided another accommodation as a gesture of good will....WOW...was I impressed. Another pair of regular glasses needed adjustments....they tried, but when they realized it just wasnt going to work they replaced the lens right away....again, terrific service with out having to argue, get mad or angry----they just take care of you....Impressed.
My Family and I have been patients here( Pearl Vision Marietta) for almost 10 years,I would always recommend this location to family and friends here as they were always friendly and speedy with the orders. My daughter and I came in for our regular yearly eye exam. Staff was busy as it was a Saturday, everything went well. She found glasses she liked and we ordered them on 07/30, it is now 09/08. I have called multiple times regarding ETA(each time I call they provide different stories; they have not arrived, they were sent back because an issue) and a reason why it has been a month and they are not ready(usually it takes 2 weeks tops).We are still waiting for my daughters glasses(poor communication skills and lack empathy for customers)I am not sure what is going with this location, they have always been easy to work with and had great communication skills with customers. My family and I have been patients at this location because of Dr.Joseph Goncalves, he is a wonderful ophthalmologist and really takes care of you when you are in office!
My husband and I have been patients here( Pearl Vision Marietta) for at least 4 years now and, I would always recommend this location to friends event though they are always telling me that are other better places out there here. I schedule my visit for October 2, 2021 and for my surprise it wasn’t the best experience I had comparing with my other visits.I came in for our regular yearly eye exam and after 40 minutes wait, everything went well. The issue started right after I ordered my glasses (2 pairs BTW). I was told I my glasses would be ready in max two weeks and I would get a message letting me know when they arrived. I ordered both pairs on 10/2 and paid quite an expensive price and after over two weeks, I have not been able to get a ETA for both pairs. NO ONE ever called me to provide any update. I keep getting excuses as to why I still dont’ have them in hands and I found this very disrespectful. And the worse is that, reading reviews here, I fond out that the excuses were the same as provided to other customers ( they have not arrived, they were sent back because an issue) and to make it worse the lack of CARE from the staff does not help at all. I know they have sold the practice and it is a new management. I just wish there were more interest in helping and assisting and providing a better service. I understand that are issues right now with supply chain but, that does not change the fact that, as a customer I deserve at to clarity when it comes to the care of my eye health and wellbeing . I wish Dr.Joseph Goncalves, were still there taking care of us! Once I receive my glasses - hope sooner rather than later I will NEVER be stepping a foot on this location again. I will make sure my family and friends doesn’t either.
Absolutely amazing experience! It was my first time here and the entire staff was lovely. Especially Lloyd who made sure I understood everything about my frames & my insurance and was just all around super cool!! 10/10 would recommend :)
Presently on week 13 of a total disaster of incompetence. Pair of sunglasses, first the lenses arrive and the script is out by 3 to 4 x not even close. So they reorder, and we wait, no calls no updates. Lost count of how many times I get the response of Ill have a Manger call you back. So far not one call from a Manger, total joke. Now after the big promise of we will get your order expedited and should have your frames in 7 to 10 days we find out they took almost a week to place the order. Then they never arrived and they are reordering. So if they make this latest promise date it will be 15 weeks.
Glass selection is pretty good. However, the staff require more customer training to be able to focus more on the customer. It doesnt seem the staff understand their roles. I waited almost an hour to receive service, after several staff members appear to ignore me. Also, the timing to receive my eyeglasses was almost a month. My second set of glasses, ordered the same time as my first pair have not been received. Its been 5 weeks. Ive been told they cant find it, to UPS has it somewhere around the globe. My options given were either a refund or reorder. This was probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered. My recommendation is management recognize these issues and develop a plan to improve the lack of professional customer service. My experience appears to be similar to some of the previous comments. It really felt like there was no sense of urgency and empathy.

Awesome experience. Things moved really fast and the doctor was extremely nice. Everyone was really informative and answered any questions I had.
Please don’t waste your time, this is the worst Pearle Vision I’ve been to. I brought my glasses here to receive lenses almost a month ago and still haven’t gotten them back. When I took them there I was told it would take 2 weeks, I’m now on the 4th week and each time I call they respond “they should be done next week.” They’ve used every excuse from being backed up to ordering the wrong lenses, this is unacceptable. The new management is terrible, I gave them 1 star because I had no choice.
I’ve been coming to this location for 5 years. The doctors are too notch and their service team always strive to work to find you the best fit at the best price possible. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to this location for 15 some odd years and normally spend an exorbitant premium getting contact lenses directly through them. This year with the pandemic money has been tight and while I went to them for my annual eye exam (well over $100 even with insurance) I opted to take the prescription so I could shop around and compare prices (note: Costco is 1/5 the price). I had one pair left and hadn’t yet received the new ones and I called to ask if I could possibly get a trial set just to hold me over (keep in mind I’ve been giving them the business since middle school and I’m now 30) they’ve probably gotten tens of thousands of dollars from me. Knowing I was running on one contact (no right contact) and that I’d been coming to them for nearly 2 decades, they refused, saying they only provide trial pairs to people who BUY from them. When I insisted I had been going to them for nearly twenty years and despite not getting contacts this time I still went to them for my annual eye visit, the rude women on the phone Melissa insincerely told me “sorry, have a nice day.” Way to stand by your community who’s stood by you.Will never get any more business from me and I’ve called all my family who still goes to this location and encouraged them to do the same. Hope this review was worth a single trial pair of contacts.This is 2021 and hopefully this review helps you all to understand that while we may not all be your most profitable customers, we are still customers, and we are giving you OUR business, and we deserve to be treated with the same respect and decency as you would all your other customers.

The only reason why this is even a one star is because of Dr. Goncalves.We have been a client at this store for over 10 years and always had great thing ms to say. Now this location has been bought out by someone whom does not care about customer service. Just in the last 3 months they have lost all of their tenured staff.To make it even worse now they have a new manager whom name is Eli. If it was up to me, she would not be working at this place. However, since I can’t fire her I will fire myself and will no longer be a customer at this store.I could go into lots of details but bottom line they were trying to provide me with a lower class lenses that I had paid for and Eli wanted me to accept it just because.Perhaps this will help someone out there.
Always a pleasure visiting this store. The staff are friendly and polite. Ive never had to wait to see the doctor. Dr Blum was very helpful as usual. He will give you the best advice that works for you! No selling tactics! I would highly recommend booking an appointment here!
My family has been going to Pearle Vision of East Cobb for over 15 years, always with the highest professional service of the doctors and staff, particularly the store manager, Elaine. Dr. Blum and Dr. Goncalves are fantastic optometrists.But ever since this location was sold in September 2020, the knowledge of anyone at this location, except these two doctors, is abysmal -- from trying to get an appointment (I ended up driving there 2 different times in past few months to make an appt), to stepping in the door to get in front of the doctor, to getting the diagnostic tests before seeing the doctor, to ordering glasses.At a minimum, make sure one of these doctors still plans to be working there before booking an appointment, and then be prepared to wait a long time, and then wait some more for the staff to ask each other: (as was my experience) how to work the diagnostic equipment, how to access records, what passwords are because the staff there had come in from AL, how to print a receipt.When I first encountered the dreadful experience of new management in April 2020, I chalked it up to them needing time to adjust to new ways of doing things. And then a year later, April 2021, it was even worse. Again, once you are sitting in front of Drs. Blum and Goncalves, you are in professional hands. But anything without their hands in it, is sub-par and unprofessional.I just came from For Eyes of East Cobb where I ordered new glasses (very pleasant, professional experience with the staff) and where Im planning to shift my familys eye care.
This used to one of the best optometrists in East Cobb when Dr. Joe owned it. Now that it has been sold the customer service has gone from the best to the worst. I placed an eyeglass lens replacement on Dec.5 th and are still waiting for them. Going on 6 weeks. I have encounted all kinds of issues from losing my frames, wrong lenses and just lack of communication. Don’t waste your time,

I won’t be going back to this location. Staff was busy doing anything but customer service. When I did get to interact with someone I felt like it was an imposition and she just wanted to get back to whatever she was working on before. Almost like she was annoyed that I was there.
Very happy with the glasses I got here. I have a difficult prescription (very farsighted and with big differences between each eye (one eye about -11 and the other about -7 diopters)). They helped me pick out frames and lenses that would work with my prescription without making my eyes look too weird (high prescription folks will understand what Im talking about). The lenses especially came out wonderfully. Thank yall so much!
Would HIGHLY recommend this place! We had a fill-in doctor perform our eye tests so I cant speak to normal Doctor but the lady who did help us had the nicest, calmest demeanor. She made us feel super comfortable. Once we got our prescription we were helped by Rachel and I cant express enough how lovely and helpful she was. We immediately had a great rapport and she helped my husband and I find the PERFECT glasses for our face. She was super patient and thoroughly went through all our options in terms of cost & lenses. Cant wait to return to look for sunglasses!
Worst customer service and worst service ever. Been waiting a month for my daughters glasses and they still cant tell me when they are coming in. Nobody has answers other than they are due in tomorrow. I call and they arent in so they tell me they are due in tomorrow. I get the same responses every time. They said originally the frames were back ordered but no one called us to tell us this until I called after 2 weeks of waiting. Wont be coming back here again and wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.
This location was recently sold. The new manager Eli is RUDE. This lady should NOT be a manager or dealing with customers. TERRIBLE experience. If you go there make sure you get exactly what you pay for!!!DO NOT GO THERE
Ive always had a good experience here. They worked with me with my insurance to make sure i could get some decent glasses. And if something happens to them, they worked with me to get them repaired or replaced quickly. I moved and was trying to find another eye Dr closer to me that had this kind of service. Seriously thinking next appt driving the almost 45 mins to 1 hr in traffic to go back.
Wrong prescription for long distance glasses. I also was not tested for computer glasses ( I told the doc I need it).I had to be tested again by another professional.Doc in a hurry in a Friday afternoon. No patience to explain things properly.
The staff was great but the quality is low. Ive been going here for a few years and have had two bad experiences with glasses that cost way too much. I will be returning the glasses again and I wont be back. I found better quality under $20 on Amazon.
I thought the staff was fine but the quality of the lenses is terrible. Expensive price for lenses that cloud and scratch quickly. I don’t think they got the script right either. First terrible pair of glasses I’ve had in almost 40 years. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.

I had a great experience at this Pearle Vision location. Everyone staff wise was extremely friendly - especially my sales associate, Rachel! She asked me what my budget was, and from there she offered many frame options. I chose this location because they were able to make my single-vision glasses in just a couple of hours at a very reasonable price. Henceforth, this Pearle location is my new optical store. 👍

Frames I bought somewhere else broke. Pearle Vision staff and Dr. Joe had great reviews so I went there. Dr. Joe was available to help me find a very nice frame within my budget to fit my current lenses and had everything completed in a matter of minutes! He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and answered my questions. The staff was also as kind as could be. Originally, I only came in because of the broken frame, but now I will be back when its time for my checkup. I will go see Dr. Joe and his staff! Love my new frames. Thank you!

The selection and pricing are reasonable; however, the staff is another story. Had a bad experience with frames and when I tried to resolve the matter they were quite rude bordering on belligerent. Too many options for eyewear in Atlanta to have to deal with this nonsense.
Came here for years. Forced my family to continue to come here. And little did they know that when they lost my glasses and continued to blame me (in Portuguese while talking to each other) for not coming after THEY rescheduled my pickup, that I understood PORTUGUESE. It was absolutely mind blowing that they would do that. This lady worked in the front years and just couldn’t keep her comments to her self. Next time if you didn’t reschedule a pick up, assume that people work schedule are busy. And that people don’t only know English and they are possibly multilingual. I’ve literally spent 500$ in glasses in one visit for my self only to be disrespected.

Dr. Blum possesses the rare combination of excellent qualification with compassion and humor. He was able to put me at ease right away. Impressed me as being more interested in the health of my eyes and my satisfaction with my lens prescription, than talking me into the latest optical trend - priceless! Andi did an admirable job of helping me filter through the array of choices to get a lens shape and frame that suited my wants and needs. If my requirements in this interaction sound simple, they are. What isnt so simple is to find them very often in our modern marketplace. I am very grateful to have had such a wonderful experience at the Johnson Ferry Pearle Vision location.

This is my first review. I felt like I had to leave one because the service was so wonderful. The optometrist was excellent, took a lot of time with me, and was very knowledgeable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. This was the best experience Ive ever had getting glasses.
They are AWESOME!!! We walked in on a Saturday and they were very accommodating. Isabella was very patient, and provided great service. Dr Joe is very knowledgeable, I felt comfortable leaving this visit.
I went there to get a second opinion on contacts after Walmart failed me and Im glad I did! The doctor I saw on a Wednesday (hes there Wednesday till the end of the week I believe) was a tall, older gentleman and he was definitely great at what he does; first set of trials fit perfectly and were shipped to my house within a week, I would definitely recommend this place
It was my first time going to get my eyes checked ever. Everybody was very nice and helpful. The Doctor was great. I hate that eye puffer thing though, that wont effect my review ^_^

I waited 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment with the doctor. They took a walk in that came in after me before me. I ended up leaving. Front staff was nice but total waste of time and worst experience ever when there are alot of other options for care. Wont go back
Dr. Goncalves has been excellent to work with (and I was somewhat of a difficult patient). He was very patient, listened to what I said/thought, and made sure I was satisfied with the results. Cant ask for more than that.

One of the best places to get glasses in East Cobb! Dr. Goncalves does his job well and his check-ups are always quick and efficient. The staff working the front office is excellent and manage to make an optometrist visit quite fun and enjoyable. With the help of Elaine and Domenica, as well as many others of the fantastic staff, I was able to master the art of using contact lenses and pick out a great pair of glasses for college. Thanks again to all of them!
This business defines what customer service SHOULD be. The doctors are competent but its the front office that runs this place,especially Elaine who has put back together so many pairs of glasses of mine that have been stepped on, slept on, run through laundry, run over by my truck etc. etc.I could get the same glasses cheaper somewhere else but until the front office staff becomes like those at comcast, AT&T, Verizon, DISH and basically most other places that deal with the public, Im never going anywhere else.Thank you to everyone up there that has put up with me and the damage I do to my glasses

I bought Revolution Eyewear frames at Marietta Ga store four years ago. A hinge on the frame recently broke. Revolution Eyewear sent a new frame at no cost to Pearle Vision for me. Very happy. Great service and caring in every way.
Waste of time.
Dr. Blum is the consumate professional. The day before my checkup, I had to go to the an urgent care in East Cobb for an itchy eye. It was bothering me and I wanted to make sure that it was not pink eye. The NP prescribed some eye drops. The problem persisted into the next day, which was my scheduled checkup with Dr. Blum. He noticed the redness and prescribed a different eye drop medicine. After 24 hours, the itching subsided. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Blum near us in East Cobb.
I was a long time when crafters person and I hate it and practice every time I was going to David’s got my prescription for today I went in there and they tell me that they could not get my will be guided by broken glass frame and put in a new one and we will pray forget I went into provision is in a bit me on it that are there show me a nice brown frame for $69 and easily remove my lenses or put in For free Only if I’m up with your classes and friends at the store going to store locationll
