I rented a Coachmen RV this past fall for a Rte 66 adventure with my wife. The NY Sate woman I rented fromhad no idea about the operation of the vehicle. The 1st weekend with the unit was horrible. While passing throgh the greater Cleveland area a cousin referred me to Nick.Nick took us right in. He spent 3 hours with me, gave the RV a thorough exam, took care of all that had to be taken care of. Provided an indepth explanation of AC, furnace, water heater, cabin battery charging system, water tank, care of black and grey water drainage protocol.......Nick was a Godsend to us. An extremely talented and knowledgeable man.I was also impressed by his sincere nature laced with honesty and integrety.Nick became aware of the reason for our cross country trip, my wifes failing healthbeing the reason we were doing this trip while we still could. Nick is a compassionate human being. He even coached me on the value of good nutrition and shared his own life story with his health situation.A freindship was formed during my visit with Nick. I made a point to phone Nick from Arizonasharing with him my deep appreciation. Nick is the real deal!

I needed a brake job on my vehicle. Nick did what was needed and did not “over recommend “ additional services. Cost was reasonable and the work was done in a timely fashion. FYI, if you do pay by CC, you do pay the merchant fee so you can plan ahead of time how you want to pay for the service.

I tried to start my car today, but I had left an inside light on over the weekend and the battery was dead. I just moved to the area, so I didnt know anyone nearby that I could call for a jump. I was in a BIG hurry, so I Googled mechanics near me and saw that Nick Brunner Auto Service had a very high rating. When I called I was shocked when Nick himself came to the phone and told me hed be here in 15-20 minutes. Just like he said, he pulled in my driveway right on time. He jumped the car, and had me on my way in less than 5 minutes. He told me the fee up front on the phone, which I felt was very reasonable considering it was an emergency call. I was recommended to stop by nick’s place by a co-worker after I unexpectedly got a flat a work. It was late in the day and many auto services were closed. It was close to closing time for Nick’s auto service but when I called he was very welcoming and told me to come right on down. When I did he was nice enough to order me a set of new tires and even threw in a tire to replace my flat until my new ones came in. I was impressed by the kindness and expertise Nick possessed after just one minute of speaking to him on the phone. He never pushed a sale on me. Instead, he began our conversation by merely educating me on a purchase I was about to make. Once I went in-person, I was blown away by business and his character. My front left shock broke so I needed my front shocks/struts replaced. I had my truck lifted 3 inches a couple years ago, so that made the replacement more challenging. Nick helped me out, I had a frozen idler pulley that ate my serpentine belt. In addition to replacing the faulty one. He checked the others so that they wouldnt fail in the near future. Most places would have just done the frozen one and let you go. Thanks Nick!

Nick is very helpful. I took my motorhome in so he could look at a couple of issues. He jumped right on it and was able to quickly fix one problem and he is working on diagnosing my other issue. I would recommend him due to his extensive knowledge.

These gentlemen are very good at what they do and have been doing it for a very long time. Like most others have said - quick and direct service. I called Nick last night at 530 (30 minutes to close) and he had me in the next morning (today) at 10 am... Dave and another (forget the guys name now, my bad dude) got 5 tires mounted and balanced in under an hour 15 and asked all the right questions. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for people who will treat you like a person as long as you do the same.

I called about having a truck at a nearby dealer looked at before I made a 2 hour trip to come look at it. For a reasonable price Nick offered to go get the truck and bring it back and check it out before I made the trip. I think Ill start with how disrespectful he was towards me when I asked him a question regarding the car my son was considering purchasing from him. It was bad enough that my 17 year old almost walked away from the sale at that point. However, he had stars in his eyes, falling in love with the car at first sight and boy did Mr. Brunner see my son coming! He lied about the car never being in an accident, Ive had TWO mechanics and a VIN check verify this, and the simply problem of bad gas and a misfiring spark plug?Try dead cylinder head. He assured my son that the check engine light would turn off after he drove it for a little bit. Again, not true. This man took advantage of a teenager who saved his money for his part-time job for almost a year to buy that car and should be ashamed of himself.

Nick is a very kind a knowledgeable Mechanic.I have a 2000 Camry and I came back from a long trip and it wouldnt start I called road side assistance and after a few failed jumpstart attempts. The roadside assistance technician told me that he thought my alternator was bad and he could fix it for me since he was a mechanic on the side with his own business, he also recommended I should change my timing and serpentine belts. I picked up the parts and the guy never called me back to come fix the car. Since I had already bought parts, I knew I couldnt take it to the dealership. And at the end of the day theyd charge me more than what my car is worth for this kind of maintenance.This very unfortunate story lead me to calling Nick Brunner Auto Service for the first time and it was the best decision I could have made. Nick was able to get me in the same afternoon I called and could have provided towing if my insurance refused.After thoroughly checking the battery, alternator, and belts he found it was the battery and the advice I had gotten was completely wrong. He called me to let me know and called the store where I bought my battery on my behalf to check the warranty. It was under warranty and and I saved tons of money, because he ran proper tests.I enjoyed my experience going to Nick Brunner Auto Service because Nick is a genuinely good person. He is not pushy about making repairs to the car that are superfluous but WILL tell you the truth about what is wrong with the car and how serious it is. Also since hes the Boss you can ask him an estimated price and it sticks, unlike the multiple different Toyota Dealerships Ive been to in Ohio and other states where the maintenance bill just keeps going up as you sip coffee and watch day time TV.If you are looking for good work at a reasonable honest price Nick is your guy.

I’ve been having problems with my steering wheel shaking while driving, I called and dropped it off the same day, Nick was wonderful and let me borrow one of the cars there as mine was being worked on (it worked great), and he got the problem figured out, called before he did anything with it, and gave me some wonderful suggestions! I have an old Ford Fusion 2008. Almost 200,000 miles. Hard to keep old cars going. Had a check engine light and no heat. Took my car to Nicks since my old car place was becoming increasingly expensive. Dave at Nicks took really good care of me. Didnt just start replacing everything in site. Took the time to diagnose and explain things to me. Right now engine light is off and car has heat again. Price was good too.About what I expected for the time they had to put in diagnosing the problem. Might be some stuff down the road but hey, its an old car.
