I love this place. I used to go to a fancy eye care center, but never got as good results with my prescriptions as I do with Target and Dr. Clanton! The employees go above and beyond to get me the best deal too! I highly recommend!

Dr. Shelly Clanton and Corrine Garcia were fantastic! I had my eyes checked in January 2021 by an Opthamologists. I purchased two pairs of glasses in February 2021. Both pairs are considered “high-end”. The frame on the sunglasses would not hold it’s shape . The prescription also seemed off.(I originally went to Elite Optical for my glasses) The original provider couldn’t seem to fix the problem. Turns out both the prescription and the lens were incorrect. I was very pleased with the the service and exam at Target Optical! I purchased two pair of glasses at a fraction of the cost I paid earlier in the year. I highly recommend this provider!

Went in there today with no appointment, broke my glasses and was in desperate need of new ones. Dr. Clanton, Corrine and Iris got me in for new eye exam and I order my new glasses. Awesome customer service, quick and friendly I’ll be a forever patient of Target Optical.

I went in today without an appointment. Brady was the attendant. He was beyond helpful and just restored my faith in humanity. You just dont get that kind of customers service anymore. I wish I could do more besides give him a review. Thanks my friend.

My sister and I have been going here for years. Recently however there has been an extreme decrease in the quality of service. My sister went in for an appointment she had scheduled weeks in advance but because she hadnt confirmed they canceled her appointment and she had to reschedule for a month out. I then made sure to confirm my appointment, I couldnt reach them over phone so I left a voicemail and also emailed my confirmation. When I went in however they said I dont have an appointment and were unapologetic and blamed me for not having spoke to a person and said they dont have access to their e-mail. Now Im waiting for my patient records to find a different optometrist. Do not go here if you have any other option.

Family has been going here for over 4 years. The doctor is professional and always on time. Corrine is fantastic when it comes to helping choose frames, to the fittings, to finding the best deal. Very personable and knowledgeable. In fact, we just stopped in Saturday to pick up a few things and had Corrine take a look at a pair of broken glasses. She promptly made things right. Couldnt ask for better customer service!

Went here for glasses and eye exam last year and didnt have any issues that I can remember. Went again for the same thing last month and similar to someone elses experience, the customer service wasnt great. I made an appointment online the first time, went for the appointment and they told me they had no record of an appointment so I had reschedule. Came back for my appointment and paid for a new pair of glasses. They said theyd call me when the glasses were ready, in 14-20 days. Its now been a month and no call. Ive called twice and left voicemails each time, no callback. I plan to go in tomorrow to try to pick up my glasses.EDITED IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: COVID-19 is not an excuse for your team to not answer the phone or return phone calls. I can understand delays in production to a certain extent, but that is not the issue. Also, the link you provided does not work.

Under no circumstances do I recommend this location (North Power, Mesa). Dr C is fabulous, but the staff in the optical department act without integrity. My daughter had a bad experience here with them a couple months ago, and I also just had a problem. Go back a few weeks ago, were I came in for a pair of glasses. The computer systems were down, so the girl calculated my bill by hand, according to my insurance coverage. Although I thought she over calculated my bill, as I needed to get glasses due to change in script, I went ahead and chalked up the money. Roll forward to today when I pick up my glasses. I try them on. Ok. Good. Like them, but do not seem like the high index transitions lenses I ordered. The girl I purchase from says, I probably want to start wearing them tomorrow, rather than today. Hmm. Odd comment. I go outside and put on the glasses because it’s sunny, and I want to see how they look with the darker lenses. Hmm. Not changing. I drive home, sit in sun, still not changing. I call to tell them I think they gave me wrong lenses. They tell me that I never ordered transitions. Egh. Wrong. I specifically came in for transitions. They say they will fix order and add transitions for free. No thanks. I requested full refund and they already charged me for the transitions/high index, and I had already been waiting a few weeks for them to come in. I then ask for itemized bill to show me what the original money I paid, covered (she did not provide at purchase due to computer being down). Well, let me tell you, the itemized bill they gave me, was not what I paid, nor what I ordered, and included extra charges that my insurance covers and/or I did not request (eg eye protection plan, frames, lenses) . I personally think there is.something shady with this location, with someone skimming in a fraudulent manner. Buyer beware.

I love target optical, especially this location. I’ve always been treated so well and my glasses have always been top notch. If I ever have an issue with my glasses, it’s resolved. Always coming here from now on.

I was impressed with the service provided by the staff, they took care of my prescription, gave me a good price and my glasses were ready in 4 days.Nothing was wrong with my prescription but I wanted to change my order from bifocal to single vision and they did the change immediately.I highly recommend this store.

I hate to give such a bad review because the doctor was so helpful and nice. However, the customer service was terrible. They ordered the wrong pair of contacts and when I told them they didn’t even apologize or anything. The lady just said it must’ve been a “miscommunication”. Not sure how that happens since they were looking at my chart when placing the order. Then, I had to wait another 3 weeks to get the correct pair but only one the left contact arrived. When asked if I could just transfer to another Target, they said I couldn’t because the doctor is private. My appointment was in June and I still don’t have my glasses and not once have they apologized.

Never, ever, again. I bought a pair of glasses last March. I was given incorrect prescription lenses. By this time we had gone north for the summer. Had to have the lenses replaced in approximately June of last year. The temple/arm of the glasses were two pieces that kept separating. Waited till I returned in the fall to have them fixed. They simply heated the piece and pushed it back together. Happened again and went back again. Happened again so this week I went in and asked them to fix the correctly once and for all. After looking up my account, I was told I was out of warranty. I said the problem hasnt been corrected since day one, so it was never right in the first place. Wondered how that played into the warranty period. She said there was nothing she could do. Which, of course, is a lie. I wonder if they had NOTED my previous visits, they may have found it to fix the problem once and for all. So never again. Poor customer service and lousy workmanship of the product they sell. Youve lost my business forever. You *could* have made it right the first time. And the second. And this last time.

Front office staff lazy and will waste your time. I called to make an appt, and gave insurance info for verification. Was told they will call me the next day of there is a problem with my insurance. No call back. Showed up for the appt. 3 days later and was told they are not a provider for my insurance and to find another dr... thanks for wasting my time!
