I enjoyed my time there. The staff was very attentive and I didnt even have a wait time. The doctor and the tech were very kind and made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. I got eyeglasses and contacts that day, and my prescription seems spot-on. I will definitely be returning!

Things have changed. Glasses are usually fitted when a client pickups a new pair. Not sure why that wasn’t offered anymore. Will definitely not return to this place for adjustments needed now. Will definitely not return for my next exam. Not happy with the service anymore. Sorry, did really did like a few people that works there but do think I can get better service somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. The optometrists botched my Rx. The two I saw for initial and a redo both had my astigmitism in the wrong points. For optics, they ordered the lenses backwards, left for right, right for left. They also upsold me an hi-def lense that my eyes could not adjust to - light refraction countered my astigmitism (which they had wrong anyway). One woman scratched a lense putting it in the frame on the reorder (because of their Rx mistake). She also broke my second frame putting in replacment lenses and then lied about it. It is NOT the St. Charles vision of years gone by. I will never go back. $1000 mistake - lesson learned.

Went to the business today; they were kind enough to fit me in. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will be going back to get an eye exam. They took care of my medical issue today. Very grateful.

Most of the staff was helpful and friendly. However, the lady that help me pick out my glasses and contacts was very rude and impatient. Its a shame that one person and their lousy service can leave such a negative lasting impression. I will not spend my money or time with this company because of her negative attitude.

Today, I have had by far, the worst experience ever when trying to get my annual eye examination and glasses done. Nobody told me that the optos machine to visualize my retinas was not covered by my insurance. This added to the bill $$, when the regular comprehensive exam required just a $10 copay from me. Convenience is expensive, we know, but the tech should warn me in advance. I also was not warned that the contacts fit (test) was not covered by my insurance. This added to the cost a whopping $$$. The optic tech lady was nice and courteous but she did not provide information about services covered or not covered by my insurance.I have to acknowledge that Dr. Leach was professional, and tested my eye vision efficiently and his manners were courteous and professional. Have to say this, just to be fair.But here goes the worst part of this story. Once i finish my vision testing Dr. Leach leaves me with a Lady who would help me to choose my glasses. The lady was impatient, rude, unable to establish rapport at a minimum level with a human being and only interested in selling me the most expensive lenses in the market. I was asking for the prices of different type of lenses but she refused (by not saying anything) to be informative. First, she took it upon herself to decide which items (glasses vs. contacts) to apply against my insurance - she very smartly chose contacts, which the insurance pays less for - my wife had to tell her the eye glasses were going to be applied to the insurance benefit, which she did not seem very pleased to do. This implied that this lady is working solely for her commission. She also took it upon herself to split up my charges without asking me if this is what I wanted. It still doesnt make sense why she charged the eye exam separately from the other items, again further affirming that she is working on commission for the up sale of add ons to the sale of eye glasses including a charge for a warranty which she tacked on without asking me if I wanted it or not. Needless to say the amount charged for the eye glasses plus the separate charge for the eye exam were exorbitant. I ordered the glasses because my wife did not want to argue with her. But, upon further review of my benefits, I am canceling my order; I dont want to conduct any further business with this company anymore.

The staff are nice and professional. I went it for a corneal abrasion. The doctor was nice, however not imformative. I was offered that antibiotic prescription which was needed but she also gave me an option to wear an eye bandage (contact lens). She said it would heal faster. So I agreed. Upon check out, I was shocked at the bill. When she offered the eye bandage, I should have been told that my insurance may not cover the cost of the bandage which was $50 itself. Currently, I am not in the financial position that I can just throw $50 away. I would have certainly opted for no bandage. It’s just not good patient services.

I love St. Charles Vision! They are so nice and highly skilled. They make sure you get exactly what you need and want and can afford. They even help me plan my glasses purchase to get the maximum benefit from my insurance. But the best part is that I always feel not only welcome but genuinely cared for. The people of St. Charles Vision on Severn are the best!

I had a very good experience being checked for a second time the same with the first. There is no waiting and everybody is polite and willing to help me or answer any questions I had. Dr. Leach was very nice and explained everything about the examination. My prescription was accurate and the best I ever had.

Just visited with a little problem with my glasses purchased from this doctors office. The eye rest had come off my glasses. They said they might break the frames replacing it. Then they packaged a couple of the small plastic nose rest for glasses and charged me over $5.00. I went to another optometrist office where they fixed it for free. When I brought the items back to st. Charles vision, with receipt and explanation, they would not refund the money. Very Disappointed

I had a very bad experience today at this st.charles vision. I was mistreated by dr.leah Who works there. He entered the room without knocking or intoducing himself or even shaking hands.. he was in a hurry his phone kept ringing he answered his phone around 6 times while examining my eye.he kept going out to answer the phone and coming back without even excusing me!! My baby was crying so he told me to calm him down and went out of the room then he came back in like 2 mins and entered suddenly without knocking while i was breastfeeding my son and felt really embarrased. He fitted me on some lenses that didnt make my vision better at all and he decided to order them for me.. though i explained to hom my concerns and told him that i cant see with them.He went out of the visit without giving me a closure or even asking me if i had any other questions. When i tried to reach him after the visit they told me hes out for the day and the day after!!! Im not sure he fitted me for the right lenses coz i couldnt see with them.. he was in a hurry and wanted to finish quickly. Though they charge for the fitting alone around 700$.and the total charge for my visit was around 1500$ !! I sould be at least satisfied after this charge!! I asked for the visit summary and notes and there was the biggest surprise.. they listed in my past surgical hx that i had no eye surgery though i did!! They listed im not on any medication and i dont have any medical issue though no one asked me about these things.. and he wrote in the notes that i have a problem in both of my eye though i have it only in one eye!!! Thats too much mistakes for one visit.. im a dr. And i know about patients rights and ethical behaviors in the clinic.. im really disappointed about my visit and i regret going there.. they said theyll let their manager call me tomorrow and solve these problems for me.. im waiting to see how theyre gonna solve this!!!

I spend $1200 on a pair of glasses recently. They broke. I brought them back to the store weeks ago and they said had to send them to NORWAY to even find out they were under warranty! No response. When I called I was told someone from the store would call me back. Never heard from anyone. DO NOT SHOP AT ST CHARLES VISION. I cant see, and they dont care!!!!
