Went to full the up the propane tanks they sold me. Guy said I couldnt park in the propane spot. Had to carry 2 tanks all the way back and forth and waited a whole hour and still had to go inside and pay. Trust me the advertisement for quick refill and service is a joke. Take your business elsewhere.
DO NOT give these people your business if you value your time.Where do I start? 4 cash registers and one employee. A line out the door and said employee couldnt care less. 45 minutes in line just to buy $10 worth of cardboard, then they have the audacity to incorrectly charge me after I told them what I was buying 5 freaking times. Clearly quick and quality service is not in the uhaul business model.Oh and the lobby ac wasnt working. 0/10, will never spend my time and money here again.a
Use excuse of lightning in the area to not refill propane. Sparse rain clouds (no lightning/ thunder) with thundstorm expected much later in the day. I know, I live 5 minute away. Service has gotten lazier over time imo....not the first bad experience here but its added up
They will charge you for the smallest details so be aware and take pictures of you vehicle before you take off
Called ahead to make sure they had the rental available and I was clear to show up within 30 minutes of them closing. They gave me the ok and when I arrived THEY DIDNT EVEN CHECK THEIR COMPUTER. She said that truck is reserved for overnight pick up, and they had another one at check in they didn’t want to check in because they were closing soon. NOT THE FIRST TIME THEYVE DONE THIS
I’ve never written a review on google but I am writing this to warn any future customers because This has been the worst storage experience I have had in my life. First off I got stuck in the facilities elevator for two hours, none of the emergency equipment worked and was up to code so we had to have the fire department to pry us out. Thank god I had cellular service or I might still be up there. When we did get out the acting manager actually admitted to the fact that they knew the elevator was broken and that they choose not to fix it as it would have costed them $65,000 dollars. They offered me two free months of storage which was less than adequate given the situation.I come back months later to collect my things to find out they never actually put the two free months on my account and had to pay a extra fee as a result. The general manager Miguel Olavarria never returned my emails or calls and was never at the facility when I came to resolve the issue. Uhaul should be ashamed and embarrassed by this gross mistreatment of its customers and are lucky I opted to not bring a legal action against them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH IF U VALUE UR TIME AND MONEY.
Terrible service and horrible experience. I went to pick up a hitch I reserved with my CC. I was assured it would be ready for pickup. Drove for 45 minutes to pickup for a next day self-install. The woman at the front desk told me the hitch was not available as it was reserved for someone else. No manager around to talk to and customer service took 45 minutes to answer the phone with no apologies nor a resolution. Zero stars.
They charged me 2 gallons of fuel per 8 miles of rental, wow ! What kind of mileage has a 10 Uhaul truck ?
The problem is, nobody answer the phone, i dont understand how business dont have nobody to answer the phone.
I used uhaul service for a cross country move. After the move was completed, they automatically charged me 2 weeks after our move for storage when I never completed a contract or signed up for storage. This is probably illegal... If we didnt follow our finances/card, they would get away with automatic charges for services we never signed up for. It took forever to dispute their charges. They somehow blamed it on us for storage but when clearly, we never signed up for this service. They had our credit card on file from the cross country move and thought we wouldnt notice the automatic charges. Be weary, folks, this place is fishy.

There was a problem today because hurricane mass customer on the Propane Department outside, the people were impatient they tought that the place was a Macdonald drivetru and could not comprehend that the employee were working as desing.....The manager came outside and fix everything for a problem on a online order right away, very Professional......The old guy services the propane was very Professional with a good humor trying hes best to keeps this customer happy that thought he was a machine....The guy made a human mistake on an oder but the manager explained him and all was take care in 5 minutes

The initial pickup was great for my last minute rental but at drop off the rude assistant manager Marsha made me regret the whole process. They really need to do a clean sweep at this location. I only gave one star because of the staff at pick up. Corporate needs to train staff and especially managers on how to deal with customers.
Terrible service. Horrible. Do not try to have your propane filled there. They will look at you, and proceed to sit down, wait for a rental truck to come in and then deal with the the rental truck.
Really slow and bad service. You will spend 20 minutes just to buy one cardboard box. Workers work extremely slow.
Though everyone at this U-Haul facility was friendly enough, I did not have a good experience. I reserved my truck using the Mobile Pick-Up option on my phone. I got everything set up, and when I got to U-Haul of Dadeland, I followed all of the steps on my phone so that all I needed to do was get the key and drive away. Except it didnt work out that way. I was made to get in a long line, even though I showed them that I had the reservation all set on my phone. When I finally got to the counter, the gentleman made me go through everything again, even though I showed him that I had already done it on my phone. I got there before 10 AM (my reserved time), thinking Id be driving away in 10 minutes. Instead, I was driving away more than 45 minutes later. When I returned the truck (about an 1 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled), the gentleman told me he was emailing my receipt. I never got it. I had to call when I got home, wait 20 minutes for someone to come on the line, and that person, whose name was Alesha (and the only hero of this story), emailed it right away. She also told me that Id been charged for gas, even though I filled it past the point that Id been told to (1/4 tank). Alesha refunded that amount. Other than Alesha, I was not treated the way I had expected to be treated at U-Haul of Dadeland. Next time, Ill go with Penske, where Ive never had any issues.
The person on the counter Mr. Stan a.k.a. jabba the hutt. charged me an extra day of rental for returning my rental 1 hour late. Now I am not a perfect, I dont control time, traffic, but after a long two days of travelling, and moving heavy equipment, it outrages me that I am charged a full day of rental for being 1 hour late! I never write comments, but this person deserves it, enjoy my $50.00.
On 7/6/20 I purchased a hitch and scheduled the installation for 7/17/20. When I arrived on the 17th, I was informed that the hitch was on back order. I didnt receive a call or email notifying me that I there was any type of delay and that Id need to reschedule. Wasted day due to terrible customer service. I canceled the order and will take my business elsewhere.
Went there the day before Hurricane Irma. Made sure I arrived early (around 745 am) being that a major hurricane was coming. The clerk at the register Marcia was super helpful and understanding. I was able to rent a van and store my items all well before 12 oclock. They were told they would close at 3 oclock. But when I returned my rental they were informed by the management that they were closing at 2. Lucky I was done and ready to go. They were great and understanding.
Poor Follow-up & Dont Put Clients First -- I reserved a 10ft Uhaul truck a week ahead of a Saturday move, but about a day before the agency called saying they didnt have 10ft trucks, if I could use a 15ft truck instead. I couldnt find other 10ft trucks at that point, so said I yes. The day of the rental there was one 10 ft truck they were advertising on the lot, but I figured it was reserved. After loading the 15ft truck, the facility where we were moving to told us 15ft trucks werent allowed. We had to unload everything and go back to Uhaul to see if we could rent a van or pickup instead. I explained the situation and the uHaul desk clerk assured me the owner would call me to see if a discount on the second rental was possible since theyr werent authorized to do anything themselves, taking down my personal cellphone. I rented the smaller truck full-price then on the same day, despite the fact that the same 10ft truck they were advertising was still on their lot from the morning. They never told me why I wasnt able to use that specific 10ft truck from the start. A few days passed without a call, so I actually stopped by again to ask when he would call and they reassured me this week, but he didnt again. At the end of this experience I paid full price for two rentals, when the truck size I had originally reserved was on the lot the whole time. I certainly bear responsibility myself here, but it was frustrating the tactics uHaul resorted to to not bear any themselves. Its very easy to take care of a situation by promising something and simply not following through, and my only recourse now is this review. Im not leaving a one star review because the grounds technicians were very kind and themselves understanding of the situation. This issues at this agency seem top-down.
Terrible services, read everything very carefully before agreeing to their services specially their insurance policy and don’t accept advice from the front desk they won’t be responsible for their suggestions. Never been treated like that in my entire life specially by the manager.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD Alert!! Rented a van for one day in November 2019 and paid in full for rental and tolls. However, they charged 3 times for that rental, tolls were charged 3 times and the same credit card was charged in DECEMBER for merchandise purchased. Credit card has since been cancelled, yet they still try every month to charge $2.00 for merchandise on the old cancelled card. Their customer service is very rude, cant remove my info on a contract no matter how old it is.
The phone calls are ignored.

I filled a propane tank here and it had issues after they filled it which I never had issues before. I called and asked them to exchange the full tank for an empty one and they gave me an attitude. I spoke to the manager and HE gave me an attitude too and said it was not his problem!!! Then when I asked his name he said “that’s none of my concern” and hung up on me. This place has HORRIBLE customer service!!

I rented a U-haul truck here and proceeded to make the payment. I made sure I had record of how and when I left the truck. I only used for one day and they charged me for 3. I only drove like 15 miles and they charged me for 30. I put gas on it and they wanted to charge me for an empty tank return. All in all, they charged me $530 instead of $72 which was the correct amount. I went in and spoke with the manager and asked for my money back and he did. Next day I was charged another $194!!! (for wrong reasons, of course) Terrible, terrible service. It seems as if they didnt know what they were doing. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR STATEMENT SO THEY DONT ADD UNNECESSARY EXTRA CHARGES!

Stan helped me by phone; as he was very helpful, and their van/pickup truck rental is cheaper than two moving companies which I had just called, I put a van on hold. He was informative, friendly, and he did what he said he would. Once I went to the location to pick up a vehicle, Amanda helped me—ditto with her. These two did just fine by me.I had read the reviews, just to get an idea. No idea who those unpleasant (or whatever description) employees were, as these two did their job well, and with a good attitude. I asked Amanda questions about the rental contract, and she answered each one with a straight-forward answer.This location gets 5 stars from me today. If it changes, I’ll write a comment at that time, but it’s a thumbs-up from me for this store. What a pleasure to deal with two people without some of that Miami attitude!Btw, some of their prices were waaay cheaper than Public Storage’s supplies, where I had bought quite a few things during the past few weeks...Big mistake shopping at Public Storage on Bird Road and 70 Ave, (Miami, of course).I’ll write about that in another review.P.S.-Not a fan of Public Storage at that particular location, where Cielo is the site mgr. Save your time and money, and go elsewhere.

I needed to move some items and rented a van for $19.99 with $0.69 per mile. The check-in was very efficient and the van was literally brand new and filled to 3/4 with gas. A/C was very cold and the interior was very clean with no foul smells.My only concern was that I could not drop it off at another location which was a big inconvenience.
Ms. Marcial Birthright is an excellent professional with total knowledge ofthe Truck Rental and Storage segments of the company. Congratulations to the administration for having contracted such a great professional.
The facility is great, all the equipment and storage that you may need. However, the customer service at this location is beyond horrible. These people are all really bitter and have the worst attitude towards their job. Try looking for a different place if possible.
Im extremely disappointed in this company. I used it while on the military to move around several times and had small issues with them. Today though, this was the last straw, I was told I had until today to hand in my truck but when I showed up they charged me $40 for being late by an hour and a half. First they never gave me a time. So I couldnt have been late, the guy I rented the truck from literally said you can hand it in on Saturday, never mentioned the fact that there was a time. Second, I was late by one and a half hour and they charged me an extra full day. Well suffice it to day Im done with uhaul, I will gladly have anyone else than them at this point. Highly recommend using anyone but uhaul.
They refilled my propane tank and the tank had water in it they refused to give me an empty tank and my $15 back.. and I wanted to give them my full tank of water he propane they can have that stuff.Terrible experience and a waste of money the manager is rude and he told me I can take my problem somewhere else
If I can put no stars, I WOULD!!! Horrible service. I went in this evening to go get a propane tank refilled, I knew they were about to close but I live very close so I rushed over there and got there at 6:58 pm on the dot. I get out of my car and click the service button, I am greeted by a man that came from the back and said they were closed, I asked if there is any way they can fill a tank real quick (probably takes 3 min to fill). The guy keeps insisting that they are closed. So I ask for a manager and went inside, by then it is 6:59 (technically still open) the guy says they are closed and they could not help me. To not start a fight I just left and went across the street where Tom Thumb exchanged the tank. I personally work for a business and deal with customers on a daily basis, if for whatever reason a customer comes into the door the minute that we are closing, I stop what I am doing and immediately help the customer as if he had come in an hour earlier. I will never return to this U-Haul even though it saves me a few bucks to refill a tank versus swapping the tank at any gas station.

The uhaul employees in the uhaul in miami dadeland told everyone on the day of hurricane Irma they would be closing early at 3. I arrived at 240pm along w several other customers and the uhaul employees were still inside but all the doors were locked. Around 250pm there were about 15-20 very angry customers trying to return Uhauls before 3pm as we were told. the Uhaul employees screamed go away we are closed to the visibly upset crowd growing outside. one customer shoutef you said 3pm the uhaul employees screamed we dont care! We are leaving. It was unbelievable. Someone videotaped it and I hope they put it on Facebook. I understand everyone is tense because of the hurricane. But the uhaul was already closing at 3pm instead of 8. There was no reason to lock the doors at 230pm and then be so rude to all the customers for following the rules. Next time, if your going to close at 230 pm just say 230pm. But dont say 3 and close at 230 and expect customers to be ok w it. Im never coming back here and I feel all employees working on that day should be reprimanded.

I went to install my hitch on my Land Rover Discovery Sport, the experience was terrible!!!!Do not risk you vehicle in hands of unprofessional person!!! Fernando the installer guy didn’t installed properly screws on the floor, now my Aid brakes are not working! The manager was no available at the store just by phone . Be careful with your hitch installation at this location!!!!

I rented the truck for 3 hours, first I need it a 10 truck, online it said they had avalaible, when I get there they told me they only had 15 and charge $10 more, ok I need to do it so I took it anyways, I return the truck 3 hours later, left it park outside cause it was already closed, I refill the gas to the same point they gave it to me, to my surprise the next day they charge me $15 dollars more for gas when I had put gas in it and have pictures to show it, I call and the lady gave me a terrible attitude, horrible place, unfortunately once in a while we will need this bandits if you can go somewhere do it, youve been warned .

They put the trailer pull bars on any truck is cheap because if you try to do it yourself and you do not know or laugh, you end up killing the truck and paying dearly for what you supposedly saved ... you are in the yuma papa You are not a mechanic or any of your friends, throw stones is what they are and cheap is expensive. I trust in Uhaul when this person was rented. I had a car in Cuba.
Apart from that it is my job, all the workers are good and have a great boss because Miguel would like to have all the Uhaul, I feel very happy, I guide you all
