I was recently looking to buy a new/used car, and a friend recommended, I go check out, Key Hyndai, in Milford, CT.? I could not be more happy? When I first arrived, a young gentleman approached me, and asked if I needed any help, so I explained what I was looking for? He replied, not a problem, let’s go take a look around the lot? Within the first 15 minutes, I saw a car, that I really liked? It had a couple cosmetic damage on it, but we proceeded into the building to get pricing started, after I advised him, (Patrick), where I needed to be, with my payments? He proceeded to talk to the Sales Manager, and within, no time at all, we were able to get to the payments, I needed, to be at? Then, I had mentioned to the Sales Manager, about the cosmetic damage, on the car? He informed me, that, everything would be fixed immediately, and provided me, with a loaner car, as mine is being repaired? I can’t speak any higher, about the whole team, they have, at Milford, Key Hyndai? They are very professional, and courteous? My salesperson, Patrick, worked his tail off to make me happy, and succeeded?I would recommend, anyone looking for a new, or used car, to go see these guys? Purchased a new Hyundai Venue from here and was quite happy with the high level of service. Everything was straight forward and transparent. No attitude from anyone, no sketchy behavior, no clique sales tactics and no deception. Plus no surprise fees or unreasonable charges. Things I normally don’t get at dealerships. Any questions I had were explained to me in full detail. And the few important things I forgot to ask were immediately disclosed to me. People were friendly. Worst experience with the service department. They simply dont pick up the phone and never returns a call. I literally had to call 10 times to speak with someone if I am lucky. If you think their sales department is nice, think twice.It took more than 2 weeks to get a simple quote, and the cost for repair was absurdly high as if they just want me to sell the car and get a new one. Very unprofessional in handling customers. Avoid this dealership.

My experience at Hyundai of Milford was great from the immediate welcome at the door from Patrick Tarant to his pleasant demeanor while patiently showing my husband and I available cars within our budget. Patrick really gave us a pressure free shopping experience. I must say that we thought that the car that I was interested in could only be connected with an Android, but after showing us two other cars Patrick suggested that we go back to the Sonata that we liked and said that he Googled its features and he thinks that it is iPhone compatible and sure enough it was. That did it for me…the car was sold from that point on because he cared enough to dig a little deeper to see if he could satisfy me as his customer.

We had a few mishaps with our salesman who was new there, we were very disappointed in how things were being handled by this person, but then Ash Dimbo was assigned to us and he was wonderful. Tanisha was the absolute greatest sales/customer service rep I have ever worked with. Usually the procedure for buying a vehicle is miserable and long but Tanisha and the guys behind the scenes worked to make it as enjoyable as possible. I was there for a few hours and brought a pretty difficult scenario to them. They made it work for my price range and were honest and that is hard to come by. Very pleased with my purchase and look forward to future purchases at this dealership. I’d give Tanisha 6 stars if I could.

They were nice when I came through the door. I liked the Vehicle I went there to look and would have bought it for the right price. However they didnt like that I had my own financing. They tried to sway me to finance with them but I didnt want to. Their attitude completely shifted and they sent me on my way. For context, if I had financed through them they would get a cut of the interest I would have paid on the car. I was no loger worth thier time because they couldnt maximize their gain out of me. Would never recommend to anyone.

Only gave 1 star due to having to check one. Went to this dealership ready to buy, vehicle window sticker said $41,300, we started crunching numbers and all of a sudden sales PRICE was $44,500. Asked why, response was we can mark it up because vehicle is popular and in demand. Dealership lost a guaranteed sale from a qualified buyer (credit scores between 760 and 790) depending on which one is used, as well as a $10,000 cash down payment. Absolutely ridiculous! Dealership should be ashamed!!!UPDATEI called and left a message for Liz, on 9/21 as directed. Today is Saturday 9/25 and still no call back from my message. Pathetic customer relations!

This is my second car from Key. I will say my first experience was not stellar however we went back to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am SO GLAD we did - we got a much better sales person than the first time. I got what I wanted and they were very reasonable without being aggressive. If in the future we decide to upgrade again I will not be dealing with anyone else besides him. Sales is great servicice is good finance you need to watch. i walked in with my own financing done deal. they decided to look at other options that i guess would be better for them and damaged my credit score, my wife also had an issue where her 3 month old car got totaled and we needed a replacement. i was under the impression i was a cosigner come to find out the loan is in my name whigh they were told was not to be the case. like i said i like the cars the service is better than most dealers but the finance team is down right shady at best

I made an appointment for my car to be checked at the service department. I called to check the status and was told they would not be able to get to it until Monday. I was left without a vehicle for an entire weekend. On Monday morning I was told my vehicle would not be able to be evaluated for 3 weeks and they could not give me a loaner. They want to leave me without a vehicle for approximately a month or more. If my xar needs parts, they have to order it and then fix it. What kind of Customer service is that?

Originally had a great experience. I knew they overbid the car but pouring so much into my old vehicle I was desperate for a more reliable car. After 1 month I’m hearing screeching and grating against the metal whenever I pump the breaks. I was told that it was my fault because the car was checked by their mechanics and serviced only to be “safe enough for the road, which is in accordance with state law for used pre-owned vehicles.” The front breaks were replaced but not the back. I was told by one of the managers that I had the car for 2 months and already had an additional 4000 miles on it when I complained how I could already be making a repair for $405 for a car that was ready to be driven out of the lot just 2 months ago. I’m sorry. I work everyday with 2 jobs to make ends meet. Everyone told me it was my error in coming in paying for the $139 diagnosis fee for “wear and tear,” that I could’ve got serviced at a regular auto body. Now I might as well pay to have the parts replaced since that could’ve been serviced at a regular auto body. When my husband called to verify if there’s anything that could be done he was passed around to everyone then put on hold for 20 minutes while I sat in the dealership watching them. I couldn’t believe after all my extensive research and hopes that my days of money pit car purchases were over that I got swindled this way. I was even told that I purchased the best warranty they offered. Just didn’t cover anything I came in for but they gave me another free oil change for my troubles. Super defeated.

I absolutely love & highly recommend Key Hyundai of Milford. Traveled around new haven county looking for a new car & out of all of the dealerships this was the best one. Employees greeted me soon as I came in along with the manager, Moody. He set me up with the salesman, Isam which was the greatest help. This place does zero to help you. I have been dealing with a reimbursement from the Hyundai company for funds I shouldnt have had to spend in the first place from this dealer where it all started. This has been going on since June 23 and is now October and nothing. I will be bringing my business else where in the future. Hyundai says customer service is number one and Jill Miriam claims to be the dealer for the people but actions speak louder.
