I have been seeing Rob for over 10 years now and I would never see anyone else! My hair turns out amazing every single time and I leave happy with healthy hair! If you want gorgeous platinum blonde hair go see Rob you won’t be disappointed! I always go to him for any color or hair changes and he always make it look amazing and perfect. My husband goes to see him to get his hair done as well and doesn’t like going to anyone else. I highly highly recommend seeing Rob for your hair needs he’s beyond incredible and absolutely worth it!

The store itself is fine. And the clerk was recently very helpful. The rating is based on the fact that there are small American flags out front that appear to have been there since July 4th that have been snowed in and are touching the ground. Not a good way to respect the symbol of our freedom. We have mentioned this and nobody does a darn thing. Just take them down.

The associate was very helpful. And because they were out of a makeup foundation cover I needed, they gave me the info and s coupon for free delivery. Very Nice!

I dont recommend seeing Rob as your hair stylist unless youre okay with either having to shave your head or spend hundreds-thousands of dollars trying to keep all of your hair from breaking off after hes done with it. Rob is negligent with bleach and undeserving of holding a cosmetology license. I saw Rob at this Ulta location back in August 2020, I was looking to have a silver toner removed and then have my blonde hair toned to a brighter shade of silver. He did a color remover and then insisted that I would need a full foil to achieve silver hair. He promised that my hair would be able to handle the process and remain healthy and that he knew exactly how to get my hair to silver. He ended up performing another color removal on my hair and then foiled all of my hair in bleach. He left bleach on my hair for between 2-3 hours, 40 minutes of that time he had me under a heater. While he left me under a heater with bleach on; he took on another client and then left the building to interview another stylist. After he rinsed my hair he stated that he couldnt brush through my hair while it was wet because so much was breaking off. He wasnt able to achieve the color I had asked for and ended up bleaching my hair to its breaking point and then accidentally dyeing my hair dark brown instead of bright silver. My hair was breaking off in clumps in the shower and then turned a green tone within a few days from the brown color fading. I then had to have another stylist remove the green color. After 2 weeks of my hair still breaking off from when he bleached it, my 34 inch long hair was broken off and I ended up having to cut 12 inches of hair off and what was left was still damaged beyond repair. When I confronted Rob he said, Well you washed your hair too hard and thats why it all broke off he refused to take responsibility for what he had done. Its been 5 and a half months since he bleached my hair and my hair is still breaking off. Ulta gave me a refund and a couple products and only offered me 2 free services ONLY if I were to see Rob. I have had to spend over a thousand dollars on treatments and products at this point to try and save whats left, it will take me 5-7 years to grow back the hair that I used to have and I have to get my haircut once a month for the next 2 years until all the damage is cut off. Ulta management ignored my emails and were unwilling to do anything more to make the situation right.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. I was one of three customers in the store and there were 3 sales associates standing in the front talking, not one greeted me. I stood there next to them for a few minutes waiting to be acknowledged because I needed a shade match but didn’t want to interrupt. Finally I gave up and matched myself. It took about 10 minutes during which not one of them asked if I needed help and I was standing 4 feet away from them. The shade that I needed wasn’t on the shelf and I had to literally chase the associate to ask if they had one in the back (they were making jokes about how they all needed to go in the back). Anyway, I ended up leaving and going to Sephora where I didn’t need to fight for help. I worked at ulta when I was 19 and I would have never wasted company money like that. Sad.

Lots of young check-out clerks! Helpful but few products in stock & had to be ordered. Not an easy come & go.

Rob recently did a full blonde highlight on my hair, and it turned out absolutely fabulous!! I’ve never had such bright beautiful blonde hair, it was exactly what I was looking for! My hair is still totally healthy, no breakage. Don’t let the one negative comment on Rob turn you away, he works with blonde clients all the time. I will 100% be scheduling with him again!!!

Disgusting Customer Service! They were up at the front counter talking about how they wish the makeup foundation shades should go back to the basic “black and white” colors!! This is disgusting behavior. I was speechless and walked out of the store in complete disbelief.

The manager of the store a few days ago & last night a sales associate both assisted me to find the correct concealer color match and were very helpful. Ive always found the store very clean and all associates very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable as well. I would recommend the store to anyone.

This location has a nice selection of drug store products as well as the name brand items. The manager helped match me to an amazing foundation. I really appreciated that she sold me what would be best for my skin and didnt just push the most expensive product.

A lot of pressure to grab and check out. The store closes very early. I wish that they would be better available to serve customers.

When I splurge on makeup, I take my shopping very seriously because this makeup will last me up to a year until my next stop in. I only shop BareMinerals and when they change their products quite frequently so when I ask for help, I expect the store associates to know what they are selling and when I tell them I am in search for their foundation, you send me home with a mineral veil that you said was foundation, that does not work for me. I am not happy but I know better now.

I went into this store during my lunch hour and it was not that busy. I couldnt find anyone to help me although I passed a number of store employees. I gathered the things that I wanted and specifically grabbed some products that were running a promotion. When I got to the cashier she did not mention the promotion so I asked about it and she told me that there was no promotion. I paid and went to look at the sign and sure enough, there was a promotion. I had to get back into the very long line to ask once again about the promotion. They now said I was correct and gave me the items that were a part of the deal, but shortened me one item. I didnt have the energy to go back a third time for them to get it right. I had not made purchases at this store before and I was unimpressed with the customer service. I will shop elsewhere.

Worst Customer Service Ever! No was was able to help me or even asked me if I needed any assistance!! I stood there and was pretty much ignored while two employees helped one customer. I put down my $100 dollars worth of makeup and will spend my money at Sephora!!

Was asked four times by the same employee if I wanted help and I kept saying I wanted to look on my own. This made me walk out of the store without buying anything.

Came to the store with my young daughter, bought a bunch of stuff and had a great time trying makeup for the first time. Half an hour later had police knocking at my door, because a sales associate thought that I was trying to use makeup to cover up bruises on my daughters face. Wow! After an interview, thanks to the great guys at Minnetonka police the issue was resolved, but what a bunch of as&@#%s working at that store! Never going back to that location again.

I love this location because the manager and her team always greet me with a warm smile. They are friendly and easy to work with. Just like any retail chain it is harder to get help when it is busy but overall I am satisfied and enjoy shopping there.

I entered the store and asked one of the ladies for some help with a flat iron. She then said go ahead I will send someone over while you look at some. Waited almost 15 minutes and no one came to help. I went to the register and ask for help and one of the girls said oh hold on one second, then she tried to reach one of of the girls and left me waiting there, never said someone will help you, and started talking to another woman. I waited there for 3 minutes waiting for a reply, but never got one and never got helped from anyone. There were at least 8 women working and got no help from one of them. Never coming back. Ignoring a customer is no way to do business.

I had a wonderful experience as it was my first time at ulta. Everyone was very helpful especially Judy at the cashier! Judy was so nice and conversational and even provided me a coupon for my first visit which will keep me coming back for sure! The only thing as soon as she rang the coupon another employee, maybe manager, short with lighter brown hair, rudely interrupted and said you can’t use it twice Judy don’t do that next time very loud and so unprofessional while helping another customer too! Judy might be new and not know how the process works just yet but is 100000x better employee than that other rude employee. Thanks Judy for still smiling through all the unprofessionalism in your workplace and giving me a great experience as I just moved from another state! Keep it up Judy :)

I absolutely LOVE the team of people working at this Ulta, the one in Knollwood (St Louis Park) and the one in Baxter Mn. Excellent customer service, super helpful and if they dont have a product in store that I need/want; they help me obtain my product without added stress or time commitments on my side.I know the company has grown quickly, and with that comes some normal growing pains, but my hope is that they NEVER change their excellent customer service policies and whatever training they do.HIGHLY recommend to all of my wedding clients!!!!!Cheers! Staff if very friendly. Very flexible with salon appointment times as well. Tara did a great job on coloring my hair. She took her time and did her best not to damage my hair. Very pleased.

My go-to for H&B shopping! Its like that other store (the one that begins with a T), where you mean to just pick up shampoo or a lip pencil, and end up with a $249 bill. They have great selection and many top brands, so theres always something new and fun to try out. I shop here 95% of the time for my purchases because of the great selectiom, regular sales and coupons, and the beauty club benefits. ♡♡♡

I am a hairstylist and I was checking out the salon as a possible opportunity, which by my mistake I decided to get a full foil. It was THE worst foil I have ever received/seen. She did huge chunky foils in my hair, left my hairline with stripes, pulled the lightener through my prelightened ends, and completely over toned my hair. She put me under the dryer with the lightener on my ends and I was horrified. She even put me under the dryer with the toner on (I have never heard of that before, especially since I know they use Shades EQ). She rough dried my hair with no brush, curled it while my hair was damp, and said “your hair is poofy but that will go away in a couple days”. No. That is not how you treat a customer. My hair was like straw. She blew my cuticle out so bad that directly after I went and got color and fixed my hair myself. For days after I was pulling out broken and over processed hair. Luckily I had the knowledge and resources to nourish my hair and bring the moisture back, but all I can think of is what if this was a normal client????? Do not go here, there is little passion in their craft and it shows. You should not speed up a process just because you want to.

The Minnetonka, MN staff was helpful and friendly, not pushy from working on a commission (unlike the cosmetic counters at a department store). When I couldnt find a specific item they went out of their way to look for it, and made sure there was nothing in the ver stock drawers. It gets busy when they are helping others, but the flip side of this is the fact that when they are helping you, you get 100% of their attention.
