Nate and Justin do an exceptional job, they both helped greatly and I would recommend them to anyone that needed help with service on their vehicle.
Echoing other people’s comments, they have a great staff that’s friendly and always willing to help. Just starting from the first person you talk to (the operator), the kindness of the people who work here shows how much they care. This place is the benchmark for what car dealerships should be like.
I dont care where you bought your car( I bought mine in Ohio) but if you dont service with Justin Neff from Gurley Leep Hyundai you are making a mistake. I have worked in the automotive industry for over a decade and he is the single best service writer I have ever worked with. I had the misfortune of having my brand new car break down on the turnpike right by this dealership. I was on my way home to Ohio but never made it. Im not the happiest with Hyundai, but Justin from Gurley Leep handled the situation like a pro from the minute my car was towed in. If their sales department is half as good as Justin, this is probably the best place to buy a Hyundai too.
I didnt purchase here, but I did get my Palisade oil changed. It was a free service as part of my purchase. The garage/maintenance staff were great. Very nice, good communication, and timely.
I called 3 times to get ahold of a sales person in order to buy an Electric Kona, Jackie who was very kind transferred me but non of the sales people would answer their phone. So I guess thats a sign to take my business elsewhere.
The staff was prompt, courteous, respectful. It was a great experience. Thanks guys.
Very friendly professional people. Andrew did a good job taking care of my Venue
I just had my vehicle service for an old change and a transmission plus this past Saturday. Once again, I making another complaint as this is the 2nd time that the technicians have tampered with my LED after my kid headlight bulbs. The hello bulbs have been tampered with and the piece that holds them a place has been completely knocked loose. This is the 2nd time Ive made a complaint about my headlight bulbs being tampered with and I am demanding to have this problem fixed or replaced for free otherwise this will be the last time I return to this dealership. This is highly unacceptable
My first bad review goes to Gurley Leep Hyundai on Grape Road. Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Extremely rude salesmen that are far from eager to sell you a vehicle. I am truly disgusted by the awful customer service that is provided at this dealership. I would highly recommend that you save your time and energy and take your money elsewhere to purchase a vehicle.
Was out of town and they worked around my schedule so I could take care of family issues. Thanks so much!
I recently purchased my second Subaru Outback from Gurley Leep Subaru in Mishawaka, IN. The experience I had this time far exceeded the first experience both in sales and financing. Not only was Tony (sales) amazing to work with in terms of knowledge but he made the process fun instead of stressful. Victor (financing) was the same way, knowledgeable but fun to be around. This car buying experience was tip top and people should be taking advice from you on how it should be done. Great job Gurley Leep team!
Yvonne at the Gurley Leep Hyundai Subaru location made our car buying experience a dream! She had the vehicle we wanted to see ready when we got there and made sure we were comfortable during the process. The finance department was excellent to work with, worked to get us the best rates and he explained all of our options but was never pushy for the “extras”. 10/10 will return for all our family’s car needs! Thank you!
My Tucson was ready when promised, in excellent condition. The assessment showed I needed a new a/c compressor, which I decided to put off. There was NO pressure to change my mind, or have any of the other suggested work done. Good people.
I have had phenomenal service each and every time Ive worked with Gurley Leeps Hyundai Service Department. This last time I booked my appointment on a Monday for the following Saturday. On Tuesday after work, my check engine light came on. I called to find out if I should be concerned or if it could wait until Saturday. They told me to wait. When I came in I explained to them about the check engine light and they said they would look into what could be causing it.When I picked up my car, I found out that there was a recall on that and it needed a software update - which was all taken care of. When I questioned why I had not received a notice about it, I was told since they are a certified Hyundai Service Center they typically will get all that information well before I would. So it was fixed and my car is quite happy - as am I!!Thanks Gurley Leep Hyundai!!!
The staff was great and they did a great job.
The Hyundai service department and body shop is the worst. They don’t communicate and trying to get a call back from them is like pulling teeth. Maybe they would give better service if I bought my Hyundai from them instead of a dealer of of state. That said, because of the certified pre-owned warranty on my Hyundai, Gurley Leep is the only service center in a 20 mile radius of me. I love Hyundai, but I’m ready to get rid of this car and move to a different brand solely from dealing with this service center.Update: In the short time since I’ve written this review I will admit that the communication has gotten significantly better and I am more at ease dealing with the service department. Cindy has done a good job keeping me updated on the status of my car and timeframe for inspection/repairs this go around.
I love the car and so does my wife. I was actually looking for something to replace my last Honda Element and really wasnt thinking about a Forester but, after looking at them and then after driving one, I was hooked. Also, the salesman we dealt with was WONDERFUL best car buying experience weve ever had. Ask for Joe Uthe if you go there, youll love the guy.FINAL ADDENDUM:Heres what happened. The car we chose turned out to be a problem vehicle and was in the service center for more than two weeks. We were planning to use it on a vacation but it didnt look like it would get repaired in time.We just found out that Gurley Leep talked to Subaru and they agreed that the car should be replaced and returned to the factory. So Gurley Leep found another car for us with the same features and is getting in for us. They said they didnt want us to have any doubts about our car and wanted us to know what a great car the Forester is. Plus they threw in a little additional item to make it up to us.When was the last time you heard of a dealership doing something like that for a customer? I didnt think things would turn out that good and Im glad they proved me wrong. Weve purchased a lot of cars from them and its nice to know we can count on them.Addendum: We loved my 2018 Forester so much that we went back and got an Outback for my wife to drive. Another wonderful vehicle and great purchasing experience. We are now a 2 car Subaru family like so many others weve met and heard about. Thanks again Joe!
If I could give a 0 I would! My dad and husband were treated horribly by the service manager Nate Johnson and Cynthia Krause in the service department. They were rude every time they were in contact with us. My husband asked if we had to pay for a charge (we have a warranty) and rudely told yes. He told them good customer service would be to call us prior to inform us of this before it was done and he was scoffed at. When I posted on social media Nate then got on and said he didn’t want his kids to see things like this about him and said he would still be happy to work with us and get the charge removed if we would take the post off social media. He’s still getting paid, it’s not money out of their pocket to show some empathy, be kind and give good customer service. You lost multiple customers because of this.
Michael the GM went above and beyond customer service. I will be returning for further maintenance on my vehicle again.
Rude employees. I had to go back twice to get my maintenance done because they didnt rotate my tires the 1st time and they left a huge mess of oil under my hood. They arent friendly and treat you like youre an inconvenience. They are the reason why I dont trust mechanics and dealerships.
We had a wonderful experience. Danan Walker sold us our 2020 Hyundai Tucson. The manager, salesman, and finance representative were all personable, non-pushy, and reasonable to work with. Thanks, Gurley Leep Hyundai team!
Had a great experience here from start to finish. From the person online scheduling the test drive to when I walked out with my car. Justin and Jacob were amazing to work with. Jacob was very helpful throughout the process and and helped us see several different minivans. The best thing about this dealer was they didnt try to take advantage of the fact that I came from 3hrs away to look at a car. Other dealers that I saw tried taking advantage of that and thought mentally I had already bought the car.Justin was a very professional manager who helped ease any concerns I had and was willing to work with us to get the car to a price we were both happy with.I would definitely recommend this dealer to all my friends and family. One very minor thing I didnt like was the fact that after they knew I was coming to grab the car and I asked it be detailed and washed, the car was very dirty when I got there and was not washed because everyone had left for the day by the time we were done. Jacob offered to pay out of pocket for it but I declined as he shouldnt have to pay. But like I said very minor issue.
Not so sure. The buying process was fast and easy. I was very happy with what I got for the money. Down the road I have been unhappy with how things have been taken care of. I recently came in because my check engine light was on and needed it read. However, they wouldn’t read my engine light unless I dropped it off for the entire day - I live about an hour away and had no reason to stay in town all day. I declined and went to Auto Zone to have them read my computer. They printed the reading and I called Hyundai to see if they would be able to get me in and take care of the problem (from the computer reading). I found a way to get home and dropped my car off for the day. When I dropped my car off I handed off the paper with the reading to the gentleman who checked me in, thinking that was what was going to be taken care of. Around 5:30 I received a phone call telling me everything else that “was recommended” to be done to my car totaling nearly $2,000 and no mention of the problem from the computer reading. Needless to say, nothing got fixed on my car. I’m supposed to have a warranty on my car, the warranty has yet to be useful.I went in the NEXT morning to get my car and take it home, and it still was not put back together. I waited in the waiting area for about 30 minutes before it was ready to go.*This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, this is just the worst it has *
I was really happy with the overall buying experience from Gurley Leep Subaru and am also happy to say its a continuing process. My salesman Ray Kirk was very attentive and easy to work with. Ray has checked in with me a few times since buying back in Dec and its been very helpful that he has done so. I did need to take my car in for a software update covered under warranty and the service staff was also wonderful to deal with.
Good car, Im glad I purchased it.
*****UPDATE*****I returned this evening (Monday) to have the tires remounted correctly. Justin, in the service department, handled the matter in a fantastic way. He was very courteous and apologetic and assured it would be taken care of properly and in a timely manner.Because of the professional nature in the way this issue was handled I will be returning for my future service needs.****************************************This was my first service experience at Gurley Leep Hyundai and I have to say I was a little unimpressed. I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. An hour and a half later I drove off with my car only to find out after I arrive home that all 4 directional tires had been remounted backwards. Now that its the weekend, I will not be able to get this rectified until Monday evening. Overall a pretty poor first impression, unfortunately this is the closest service department to me. Will see how this issue is handled before deciding if I will be returning in the future. Will attempt to update this post with any remedy Gurley Leep provides...
Its a Subaru dealership, of course its an amazing place to go to. I could literally walk around for hours looking at all of the amazing cars. The staff here are great and so is the service center. I recommend anyone who has a Subaru in need of some work, definitely go here. They will take complete care of you and your vehicle. If your ever thinking about buying a Subaru, stop thinking and just buy it. I did that and Ill never regret it. Oh if you havent gotten the hint yet, Im a huge Subaru fan.😁
Dropped my car off for an oil change, to fix my door lock actuator, and to have my 30,000 mile maintenance done. Received the car back with grease all over my window and down the door. Plastic covering was missing from the hole inside the door. 30,000 mile maintenance was not done. Only a 3 point inspection. I had to wait three days in total because the part had to come in. But yet stuff wasn’t done
Bad experience after I drove off the lot having my first oil change that I was almost charged for until I spoke up. Upon multiple things which should’ve been under warranty as I paid for it, asked for tires to be roatated & balanced. I called the same evening and left a message for Amber to call me back because the front end still wasn’t right after spending almost $ 600. No call back & then the Virus was a great deal. Tires are loud when driving. Nevertheless not going back!
I had a window of less than two hours between appointments and showed up at Gurley Leep to look at a few models of Subarus. Connor was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. He explained the differences between Foresters and Outbacks, and then the variations among the trim levels of Outbacks. We test drove an Outback, and I felt pretty comfortable with it. I returned a few days later to compare trim levels, and then made a decision. The specific combination I chose was not available in their lot, but they were able to find it about a hundred miles away. When I went to pick it up, it was ready, beautifully clean and exactly as ordered. The paperwork went extremely smoothly, thanks to the efficiency of Victor in the finance office. The whole experience was pleasant, from the open and clean showroom to the courtesy of the staff. They worked with me on a price for the new car and gave me a fair price on the trade-in of my old car. When I had a question that Connor could not immediately answer, he found out the information quickly and thoroughly. Overall, I recommend this dealer.
Run the other way! They will lie about a vehicles condition! Just look at Gurley Leep GM Giant’s reviews on yelp! There are some horror stories in there! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!
Jury still out.... Ive only been here once.
They have treated me very well for a returning customer. This is the 7th Subaru that I have owned and never have had ANY trouble with them. They are the very BEST vehicle I have ever owned. The best recommendation I could ever give them is look in any used care lot. Ill bet you will never find a used Subaru there!
Won’t honor return/exchange policy despite within the 3-day hyundai guaranteed return window as advertised. Poor after-sales customer service. A brand new vehicle shouldn’t have needed multiple repairs within the first month of purchase.Save yourself some hassle, go elsewhere.
Staff is super friendly. Not quite sure about the mechanics though. They installed accessories on my car after I purchased it and I had to fix both of them myself. Top roof racks were installed backwards and backseat covers were installed so quickly they forgot to strap them in. These are not complicated things to install. Makes me a little worried about getting work done on the car when it actually has to do with the cars mechanical working parts. Other people warned me not to get service done there. Thought I would give them a chance and it is not starting out well. I will probably give them another chance to see, but otherwise I will be looking to find another Subaru mechanic.
Fast service and friendly staff
I drove 45+ mins to get my service done here and will continue to do so. I absolutely enjoyed my experience here: the service was fast and well done, and the team was accommodating the whole time! I highly recommend getting your service done here.
Absolutely amazing service, one of a kind staff, and always willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Was completely blown away with outstanding customer service, focused generosity, and enthusiastic community. When you are looking for reliability, honesty, and accountability. Gurley Leep Hyundai and Subaru is the place to be.Thank you!
This morning I took my Subaru Outback in for regular maintenance. I needed front brake pads only. I got the bill and was like OMG. They changed 2 brake pads and resurfaced the rotors. The bill total was 402.96. A misc shop supplies/haz waste fee of 50.34 for 2 brake pads and 3 shop rags at most. I understand labor rates and parts cost, but I draw the line at pure price gouging. Ya lost my business. Feel free to contact me as you have all my records
Steve is awesome. He is polite + friendly, professional, and keeps me in the loop every time I bring my Outback in for service (without being pushy). He even went the extra mile to adjust some loose bolts (himself!) on one of the doors after an auto body shop did a less than impressive repair job.
Welcoming services are good they nice all time. And suggests many options for free(ex rent car, car wash..) but when I am back to pay they charged all because they didnt know that. Furthermore they didnt car wash either. You would better to get contract on the paper for any free survices they suggested so that avoid extra pay.
Service was prompt and courteous, but they did not have the tire I needed due to a slow leak, even though it is for a 2017 Forester. I will have to come back to get it. I was surprised these were not in stock—I would think my Forester is one of the most popular cars sold there.
Its been a long while since I bought a car from a dealership. I called in regards to one I saw online. The nice gal transferred me to Rob Burns. Rob sounded outgoing and fun spirited. When I met him I liked him instantly. Rob wasnt pushy like most salesmen I have met in the past. I will be referring my friends and family to this gentleman. Thanks Rob for going out of your way to make me a happy customer!!
I just bought my first Subaru from Gurley Leep yesterday and I couldnt have been more pleased with my experience! Chris Jones was the sales person and he went the extra mile at every turn, we found me a car within my budget and made my buying experience fun! If I could leave 6 stars I would, I highly recommend considering Gurley Leep Subaru, if you are in the marketing for a new vehicle!
They are the best! Anthony Myrthil is a GREAT sales professional and got me the Subaru I LOVE at a price I could afford. He was there for me from start to finish. All the other associates there I spoke too were also great! Ill definitely refer my friends! Thanks again Tony!!!!
Chris was great! Very knowledgeable about the vehicles and really worked to get the best deal in our price range! Was NOT pushy at all and made you feel very welcome. Thank you for the best car experience we have encountered.
Polite, knowledgeable and friendly staff....vehicle is ready when they say it will be...would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants fast and efficient service done by staff that know what they are doing...
Bad behavior! This dealership tried to separate me from $7,100. Their repair shop told me I needed an engine rebuild for my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. I got competing bids but I was still expecting an engine rebuild. They couldnt possibly get that wrong, could they?Local shop gave me a much lower bid and I had them pick the car up. Local shop calls me the next day and tells me no engine rebuild was needed. Replace a broken hose clamp, thats it! Savings of $7,098!Ive left multiple messages for Service Manager Nate and General Manager Mark asking for a refund of the $150 diagnostic fee since their diagnosis proofed bogus. Neither one has called me back. I shouldnt be surprised that they wont take accountability for the dealerships questionable practices.Deceitful and despicable!
Justin thank you very much for taking care of my daughters headlights tonight on almost no notice. You rock! Thank you so much.Bob
Ray and David were wonderful to work with. I had some very specific wants and they both did everything they could to make sure I was able to get what I was looking for and to make the process as stress-free as possible. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the first gentleman I worked with lacked attention to detail–but that was quickly remedied by David. Ray came recommended and, after working with him, I can absolutely see why.
The process was very fast and efficient. They did great work and notified me of several issues with my car so I could take care of them in a single visit. I was very happy with my visit and will glad use Gurley Leep Subaru again in the future.
I met Sales Rep Kirk Gregory over the phone. He was Great. Answered all my questions. Confidence was high. Kirk found the car we wanted at a price that was fair. We did 95% of the buy over the phone and internet. Great experience with Kirk at Gurley Leep!Highly recommend this group.
I purchased a 2013 Subaru Outback from Gurley Leep Subaru about 3 weeks ago. Rob Burns was the salesman that helped my wife and I find the Subaru that had the right options and fit our budget. We drove a couple of different trim levels and sat in a few more to help us come to a decision as to which car was the one for us. Rob has a lot of knowledge about Subarus and was very helpful in showing us all the different options . During the entire process I never felt pressured to hurry up and decide or that he was trying to sell us one model of car over another. If you are in the market for a new Subaru I recommend getting in contact with Rob and checking out what Subaru has to offer. My wife and I are very happy with our new Outback.
I typically wouldnt take the time to write a review but in this case it is warranted. I worked with Rob Burns and was treated like I was the most important person on the lot that during my car buying experience. There is no high pressure sales tactics, no fluff, no false promises, and I would highly recommend that if anyone is considering a vehicle purchase please take a look at the numerous positive reviews listed here. Go in, ask for Rob Burns, and actually enjoy the car buying experience.-Bob
Thank you to Leslie for taking extra great care of my family in selecting a new 2018 Subaru. We compared multiple dealerships and Leslies personal care really shined through. She helped my wife who had very specific wants/needs, find the perfect vehicle. Multiple test drives and then within the same day, Stacy drove off with a her selection. The finance team was excellent too.Thank you- Bill Martin, Impress Jewelry Creations
Yoshi was calm and collected and I never felt rushed into making a decision. My only gripe is that the car came with one key. I feel the dealership should sell the car with 2 keys and not have the customer fork out more money for a spare key which is essential.
We went in knowing what we were looking for. We were very precise. Our salesman did an excellent job listening to what we wanted. At no time, did we feel any pressure or “hard sales” tactics.
Friendly fast and clean, not pushy at all. Staff is very helpful in helping make decisions.
Worked with Chris Jones today and he made it a fun and painless process for us! We told him our price range and he worked his butt off to make sure we got the vehicle we wanted for a price we could afford. And we got a warrantee. I feel safe driving away and would recommend them to anyone!
Ordered a new 2019 Ascent, configured how we wanted, got a fair price for it. Sales staff was very helpful. No complaints
My husband and I bought a 2012 Subaru Forrester at Gurley Leep in January 2014. We have been extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Brian Cunningham, our salesman, was extremely helpful, considerate, and professional. He asked us specifically what we were looking for, took notes, and was very thorough during this interview. He checked availability of a vehicle that met those criteria, and found, at the dealership, just what we wanted. We took a test drive and were very satisfied the SUV and were prepared to purchase it at that time. First, he assessed our current vehicle, and after a conference with other dealers, make us a very satisfactory offer on our trade-in. We did the paperwork and were able to drive away with our Forrester. The following week, we returned to complete necessary paperwork, and we very impressed with the efficiency of the office personnel who helped finalize our transaction. When we have returned for service on the vehicle, we have been equally impressed with the speed and quality of the work and professionalism of the staff/ Gurley-Leep provided us with the best experience we have ever had in purchasing a vehicle.
I have always had my car serviced at the Subaru dealership, because I trust the quality behind the brand name. I recently moved to Mishawaka area, and this is the closest place. What a disappointment it was... So far I have had 2 services there already, both times were beyond horrible.1) Price is not transparent at all. I ended up paying way more than I should have for both visits.2) Quality of service is not good either. I found part left in my car with a greasy oil mark on the mat. This is not the quality of work I expected, especially not with the extremely high price.3) My request was completely ignored. Only the standard work was performed on my car, even though I literally showed 3 different service agents a video showing where the problem is at the dealership.I would rather travel further instead of going to this place again.
Amazing experience when buying my Routan. My sales consultant, Rob Burns offered no pressured what so ever. Rob showed me a few cars that met my needs and budget and gave me the information I needed to pick out the perfect vehicle for my family. The finance department made me feel comfortable and explained the paperwork to me.If you ever need a car I recommend seeing Rob Burns Gurley Leep Subaru.
Robert Russell made buying a Subaru Forester the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Incredibly nice guy and stayed late to finish the sale. Would recommend every time!
I had a really good experience first leasing my Palisade and then for regular service.
Was told that if I wanted to have the warranty work done on my car I would have to pay for it on my own. This was due to there tech who can do warranty work on my car make is no longer with Gurley Leep. Went to a much smaller/better dealer and got great service and warranty work done!
Nate was really great to work with. He was very helpful and willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for. This was my first time buying a car and he really helped walk me through the process. They really make sure you leave feeling great about your purchase without feeling rushed or persuaded to purchase something you dont want.
I contacted the dealer, got a good deal at the amount I wanted via email, and they got the car prepared and ready to intake prior to arrival. In total, the whole process took 6 hours from the initial email to finish. Yoshi at Gurley Leep got it done expeditiously and professionally.
I always bring my car here for service. I have always an outstanding experience here at Gurley leep hyndai service. Steve always took care of me very well. And this time I worked with Justin and had a a great experience working with him. He took care of me very well. Everyone is very helpful and very patient and both Steve and Justin has been a great help and always do their best to give me a best experience. Friendly people and great customer service. I recommend 10/10.
We just purchased a Lexus RX from Anthony at Gurley Leep Subaru. We were feeling a little defeated after having spent all day dealing with slimy salesmen at less reputable dealerships. We stopped in on a whim but didnt think theyd have anything in our budget. To our surprise, Anthony said they had something that had just been traded in, hadnt even been detailed yet. He was great working with us to stay in a budget we felt comfortable with and didnt attempt to up sell us to a vehicle out of our budget. Thanks Anthony!!
Excellent experience. Angie and Jim were very helpful with answering all of my questions and concerns about the Hyundai vehicles. When they asked what price I was looking to pay, they made sure to accommodate me. A+ all around.
My wife and I just recently purchased two new vehicles from here. Matt Hill the salesman was very attentive to our needs and really worked with us in getting what we wanted. We ran into a pro lem with one of the vehicles and Matt has done a great job keeping us updated on the status of what is going on with the vehicle. All in all we have had great customer service from Matt Hill definitely goes above and beyond the expectations. Only issue we have was that the car we were supposed to be driving is in shop still. Matt has made it an easy transition by giving us a loaner vehicle for the time being. Hope to drive the vehicle soon.
I recently moved to South Bend from out of state, and bought a vehicle through Gurley Leep Hyundai Subaru. My sales person was James Yoshizawa, who was knowledgeable, service oriented, and professional. The process went smoothly from beginning to end. I felt very well informed and satisfied with the choice of vehicle, which was a good value.
Please try to avoid purchasing any vehicles from this dealership...if the new vehicle is up and running, that’s great...if not working, good luck, they are not as responsible as they advertised...
Found a used Subaru Legacy online, stopped by and had a great experience with Brian. He let me take the car home to show my wife after my test drive. We got back just at closing and Brian and his manager made us feel welcome and stayed late to make a deal. We didnt feel pressured and were able to negotiate a deal that we were both comfortable with. I would recommend asking for Brian. He was knowledgeable about the Subaru brand, wasnt pushy, called a week later as a follow up and was very patient with us after hours at the dealership. We have only had the car a couple weeks but have no regrets and are loving the Subaru in the snow!
If youre looking for a Subaru, I highly recommend Steve Nebus at Gurley Leep Subaru. I appreciate Steves sales style--he is persistent without being a nuisance, knows the models and features inside and out, and is a genuinely warm and pleasant person (not the smarmy sales guy most of us have met out there shopping for cars). I trust Steve and would recommend him to any of my friends and family interested in a Subaru. I would even send my elderly mother to work with Steve if only she was still with us!
For some one that needed a vehicle in a short period of time with terrible credit. i was thoroughly impressed with how simple they made the process for me. they even got me in a car that was a lower monthly payment, lower APR, lower miles, shorter loan period and 4 years newer than the car i had to replace. Frank from the Subaru store and Brandon from the Nissan store did an amazing job for me.
Take my car in for repairs and told nothing is wrong. They collect money just to look at it, yet its getting worse. Where they do that at? Mechanics need to be overhauled. They arent really looking to find and fix the issue.
Excellent and fair. People always write these reviews with a bias and a slant. Now add the fact that they are usually already upset, which is why they are taking THEIR precious time to share their situation with anyone who is willing to read it. I guess what Im saying is dont believe everything you read and smile at the world and it will smile back at you too.Gurley Leep is a great organization and they do a damn good job, day in & day out.
We recently purchased our Subaru Outback at Gurley Leep Hyundai Subaru. Our salesperson, Robert Russell, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us search for the perfect car. Robert kept in touch with us while they located my car keeping us up to date on the search. In the end, we got our perfect car and we would highly recommend Robert to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Wonderful buying experience and a great car!
Gurley Leep Hyundai service really helped us out when we were in a bind. Cindy the service agent was great and Mike in service was amazing. We were on a cross country road trip and the Hyundai dealership in Oregon had wired our hitch wrong causing the wire to burn and melt on the tail pipe, making the running lights on our trailer not work. They didnt have the part we needed but were able to do a fix to get us where we were going safely. Thanks for the amazing customer service! If we lived in Indiana this would be our go to place.
When I purchased a car from Gurley Leep, Rob Burns was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I couldnt decide between two different models so I really appreciated his patience while I took each one out on test drives and deliberated over each one. I am especially impressed by his continued service even after the sale. He has since contacted me multiple times to ensure my complete satisfaction with the purchase of the car. His care goes above and beyond my expectations.UPDATEAfter three years of loyally bringing my car to their service department I can no longer speak highly of Gurley Leep. I didnt mind paying a premium until they charged me $111 for three wiper blades. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told no. Because they couldnt care less about my business I will not be returning.
Called on a 2004 Jeep. Told them I wanted to put money down to hold it as I was told the shop had checked everything over and all was ok. They later told me windows dont go down so they will put it in shop to be fixed and they didnt need money down as they would hold it for me. After a week heard nothing. I called and left message. Salesman txt me that not fixed yet. That he will keep me updated. Over another week goes by and have had heard nothing on the jeep. Apparently they dont want to sell vehicles very bad. Poor customer service.
Recently purchased our 2nd vehicle from Gurley Leep. First was a Hyundai, this time we went with a Subaru Outback and our sales person Alex was great. Very knowledgeable and professional. Sales Manager Jim, was also very respectful and not pushy. Got a great price on the Outback! Business guy, Mark Simpson, was the best. Mark was also very knowledgeable about the Outback. Most finance guys try to jam extras down your throat, but Mark helped us customize a protection plan that was perfect. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to be treated right!
We stopped in to Gurley Leep with a very specific criteria. Rob Burns greeted us on the lot with a smile and listened to our need list. He was able to pull together a nice selection of vehicles for us to peruse, but more importantly, he and Ken were able to work within our budget. This is a low pressure, customer oriented sales experience at its best. There is always a bit of stress when making a major purchase, not once did we feel pushed into making a quick decision or purchasing something that we didnt want. Overall satisfaction is 100%, with a highly recommend.
I would steer clear of this business. I had taken my Subaru to have a recall taken care of. The cable that controls where the heat is directed to had become stiff and required a helping hand to keep the cable from bending when switching from floor to defrost. I asked to have an estimate on the replacement of the cable. The next day when leaving for work i noticed that there was no heat coming out of any of the vents. Upon closer inspection I find that the control cable is bent back on itself so I come back home and bend the cable back straight so I can use the defroster after which I discover no matter what position I put the control knob there is still no heat. I take the day off work to figure out the problem. I call and speak with Cynthia Krause and explain what had taken place and ask if I can speak with the service tech to find out how to get to the other end of the cable as this seemed to be disconnected now. A few hours pass and I call Cynthia again to see what she had found and let here know that if I could not speak with the service tech, I would be equally happy with an email showing the location of the cable so I could hook it back up myself. Bringing the vehicle back in was not a good option as I live an hour away and the roads were wet and salt-filled and I had no defrost to keep the windscreen clear. So after speaking with Cynthia 2 times and leaving 2 messages I still have yet to receive a phone call or email trying to remedy this problem created by the service department at Gurley Leep. I was able to locate the other end of the cable and reattach it the way it way before I brought my car in. To say I am disappointed with my first experience at Gurley Leep would be a gross understatement. On the brighter side, I ordered the cable (under $7.00) and installed the new cable myself which has saved me over $250.00. The cable replacement is a 20 minute job for someone that has never worked on a Subaru before so not sure how Gurley Leep can justify the $267.98 quote on the replacement of a $7.00 part, but then again I dont know how they justify breaking a customers vehicle and then ignoring the problem they created.
Customer service is good but as a whole this place cant be trusted. Long story short they tried to charge me to replace a factory original part while the car was still under original factory warranty. I decided to get a second opinion from another shop, and was informed that the part didnt even need replaced. The second shop fixed the actual issue and I still have the part that Gurley Leep deemed as needing replaced on my car 6000 miles later. No issues with it whatsoever. This happened months ago and I wasnt going to leave a bad review, but then they recently provided horrible service for a friend of mine. Theyve fully earned my review.
Service staff very friendly. Waiting room very comfortable. Arrived about 45 minutes early because the appointment time I was emailed did not match time I made it for. Would have given 5 stars but I called about the appointment the day before and no one returned my call.
I was very satisfied with the dealership. I was given 3 test drives to help me find the right car. Got a great deal.
I had an amazing experience with these guys last weekend. I went in with little much of an idea of which car would suit me and with help from Ryan Kirk i came back home with a beautiful car i like and happy!Thank you guys!
Never been happy with my experience here. I feel as though I get scammed every time I come here. They gave me a BS credit to my account because they charged me for an almost $600 service they didnt even perform...found that out when we had to fix the thing they said they had already fixed. The next time they simply didnt want to perform the service I needed...too time consuming they said. Will definitely not be going back. BEWARE!
I was able to go In and get a brand new vehicle in the same day. I got exactly what I wanted at a great price and Iv been happier. Went from 6 gallons a day to 2.
We had an awesome salesman, Rob Burns! We started car shopping in February, on some of the coldest and snowy days and Rob truly went the extra mile for us. He not only showed us cars on the lot, he answered all our questions. I was very indecisive as to what vehicle I wanted and he was patient with me and not pushy. Rob is professional and down to earth. I am sure anyone would be pleased doing business with him. Our overall experience with Gurley Leep and all their associates gets a Thumbs upWanda and Mike Bratcher
Recently purchased a Subaru Forester from Rob Burns. The experience was pleasant overall. My only complaint would be that I received about $1000 less for my trade-in than I had hoped for. I would highly recommend Gurley Leep Hyundai/Subaru and would suggest that you work with Rob Burns, given the opportunity.Update: Just bought a used Impreza from Jeremiah at this location. The experience was pretty good over all, but there were a few minor disappointments. When the car was handed over to me the fuel tank was only at about 1/4 full. I would have expected a full tank. Also, the dashboard was very dirty, it the car was clean otherwise. Lastly, upon arriving home I realized there was a chip in the windshield. I took it back to the dealer and Jeremiah showed me a black dot of paint that supposedly indicates the chip was filled in. I was not informed of any damage to the windshield prior to purchase. I’d still recommend this location and Jeremiah.
I recently visited Gurley Leep in Mishawaka and was helped by Gabrielle Thompson. Being a woman, I very nervous and apprehensive about buying a car on my own. Gabrielle immediately put me at ease. She was very understanding and helpful. I felt like she listened to me and was not at allpushy. She helped me get exactly what I wanted and made the whole experience very pleasant. I really appreciate her. I will tell my friends about her for sure.
Took my 2016 Hyundai Sonata in for repairs. Steve went above and beyond to get the manufacturer to cover the repairs. He did a great job for me and I really appreciate it!
We bought two cars that day.. I thought here we go this is going to take all day and night.. Rob Burns was our salesman. He made the experience fast and painless... We were in and out in only a couple hours with both cars home that day..Rob made it the best car buying experience ever.. We will always think to go to Gurley leep when ever we buy a car..Kristy & Randy Bremen, IN.
Purchased a used car from Rob Burns. Rob was very personable and made me feel very comfortable during my car buying experience. He never pressured me into buying anything and was very patient with me. He has even called and emailed me to see how I am liking my new car. I would definitely buy from Rob again.
Great buying experience. Down to earth salesman who treated us very fairly, was friendly and personable. We came in knowing what we wanted and had a good successful experience.
