Awesome shop! The employees are super knowledgeable and the turn around time is super quick. They go the above and beyond! I built out a super RAD bike with the help of the Owner Chris, who was attentive to my needs and got me some of the best prices you could ask for! 10/10 recommend this shop!I had an issue with my Fox dropper seat post a few months after purchase, brought it in and they processed the warranty and everything for me no questions asked. They even gave me a loaner seat post while the warranty was being processed! Few months later same issue came up and the owner gave me the broken parts off of his personal bike! If that doesnt say great customer service, I dont know what does!These guys truly love what they do and want to get you out ripping as soon as they can! They treat their loyal customers right and make sure the bike you purchase from them keeps on the trails!Cant say enough about Bike source!

I went here twice for service on my bike and both times I had to bring it back for them to fix a mistake. Both would have been easily caught if they had checked over things at all. They fixed the problems, but its definitely annoying to have to bring my bike back in, and they didnt acknowledge either error. Generally expensive and poor service.

Consistently a great experience! It is one of the best shops Ive been in, and you can tell that they care about listening to what your needs and wants are and figuring out the best solution for you. Had a bike built from them, and years later purchased an in stock Rocky Mountain for my wife. Great experiences during those interactions as well as every other time I was in the shop.

I lost a nut for my front tire so on my bike ride home I popped in to see if they could help me. Within minutes they found a replacement and set me up back to safely ride. I felt a strong sense of community there by taking the time to find the right part at no cost. Ive also purchased pannier bags here in the past and received them in a very timely manner. This is a great bike shop!

I’m a bike newbie (only use it for commuting) and was confused as to why my tire wouldn’t inflate. I brought it in to Missoula Bike Works and within minutes it was taken care of and was a simple fix! Missoula Bike Source has become my favorite shop for the best prices on what I need and the best advice on not wasting $ on stuff I dont need. No customer service. Went to Bike Source a few days ago on the recommendation from a friend, looking for a new carbon-frame mtn bike. There were two sales people on the floor talking with customers and two people in the back. One of the sales people was clearly deeply involved with the customer, while the other sales person sounded like they were talking about what they did last weekend. I walked around the store for 15 mins and no one said a word to me, not even a hello, well be with you as soon as we can. I walked out and the Bike Source will not be getting any of my business. In contrast, staff at other Missoula stores seemed just as busy when I walked in but immediately someone let me know that they would be with me soon.

I love this place! They have a knowledgeable, friendly staff and a great selection of bikes for all styles and budgets!

Of all the bike shops Ive been to in Missoula, I feel most comfortable going to the Bike Source. Never had a bad experience in any of the others, its just that this one I am always excited to go to. I live in Spokane and decided to purchase a new Norco from Missoula Bike Source based on a recommendation from a physician friend in Missoula. Store understood I was from Spokane but said Happy to have me as a customer. Chris (owner and nice gentleman) sold me a prior year, but brand new Norco Revolver xx1 FS completely decked out with top of the line specs and 1200g carbon DTSwiss wheels for $5k even! Could not be happier. Best deal on the planet by far on Norcos top end ride! I appreciate the gesture guys. Cheers.Some honest feedback that only focuses on customer service and customer service follow-through. Withing 1 year had issues with the KSLEV carbon seat dropper post I purchased with the bike ($575). Not the fault of Missoula Bike Source. Rob asked me to send him a video of the side to side movement to forward along to KSLEV. Rob dropped the ball and I didnt hear anything from him for 8 months. Can happen. Re-did the video and re-sent to him. Out of convenience, the shop suggested I stay local in my home city to have issue addressed.In Missoula Bike Sources reply to this post they suggest I waited 8 months to bring the dropper post to their attention but that is not the truth. Come on guys, lets stay above board, remain professional and most importantly lets stay honest.Finall impression...I had Missoula Bike Source do my annual service on my new Norco since Im in Missoula quite a lot working at St. Patricks Hospital and it was no issue dropping bike off for service. Im only 2 years in on the bike and the rear pivots on the rear suspension have gone out and need replacement. Argh! Frustrating because this bike has been ridden less than 2K miles and Rob did the annual service for me.

My favorite bike shop - and there are a number of great bike shops in town. Best part is that *every* staff member, to a one, is friendly and wants to help you get out on your bike. I notice they treat everyone equally, from lycra clad pros to little kids. I also like the bike brands they carry - some of the best bang for your bike buck out there.

Trying to get a emergency brake bleed for a ride the next day I stopped by. They were honest with me that the back log would prevent them from seeing the bike in time. They helped me find a shop that could see the bike. Appreciated their honesty. Will go back.

There are other good bike shops in Missoula, but Chris and his crew really go the extra mile. Great shop, great service, super knowledgeable staff who are friendly and eager to help. Truly a great experience! Always shop MBS!

After several interactions with the Bike Source, I cant say enough about how pleased Ive been with their service and style. Supporting local businesses is important but so is saving money. They really try hard to stay competitive with pricing, not just with other stores but web retail as well. I always check here first when I need something and they are really great about figuring out an option within my budget.

Visited the Bicycle Source in the winter when I was shopping around for my first mountain bike, they were very friendly and helpful without any pressure. After visiting some other shops in the Missoula area, I returned early this spring and purchased my bike, I have not been disappointed. I am very happy with the bike they helped me choose and the continued excellent customer service!

Bike Source is the most friendly and helpful shop I have been to in Missoula. I bought a Felt F4 from them (the most fun bike Ive ever ridden) I crashed in a race and ended up cracking the frame. I went in on a Monday told them I had a race next weekend and they had it done on a Friday. These guys will definitely take care of you when your buying a bike, need a tune up, or anything else, Bike Source is great!

Missoula Bike Source is quickly becoming my favorite bike shop in town. All staff is friendly and dont make you feel like you are wasting their time or that you are a bike peon. :) Chris the owner, helped me purchase a used consignment bike in their store and treated me and the purchase as if I were buying a new bike from him. Check them out and get a good experience.

These guys were great! They got my daughter set up with a bike (her high school grad gift) to get her around the U! When she was having trouble with the breaks they went and picked the bike up and fixed and brought it back! Anything we need bike related we spend the little extra and buy it here instead of Walmart or amazon! Keep this guys in business because their coustomer service in exceptional!

I stopped at this shop during a 700 mile tour from Boise to the Canadian border at Rooseville. I lost a chainring bolt and needed it replaced. They made the repair quickly and correctly and I was on my way. During the repair, other employees gave me great reports on the road conditions for the remainder of my trip. Great place, great people. I highly recommend

Great customer service.I was struggling really hard to try to find a part (thanks to SCOTT I was looking for a piece that does not exist) after fighting this problem all day, I got an unexpected call back from Bike Source. The gentleman I talked to had listened to my problem earlier in the day, but had told me they did not have the part I needed-- I thought that was the end of it, as it had been with other shops. They called me back in the afternoon, after a very frustrating day of looking for this part and they had taken the time to call other manufactures of this axle that I needed to find out for me (what I had just learned from SCOTT after the 3rd person I talked to gave me the right info finally). These guys went way above and beyond my expectations and for that I give 5 stars.
