Amazing eye Dr. Only negative is they dont take my insurance. Ive paid out of pocket and also gone to another eye Dr that does take my insurance, and although its a bitter pill to not have the visit covered I will need to go back to Dr. Joseph. They see me right away, hes very helpful and thorough, Im usually alone in the waiting area or just one other person. They have really cool technology here where they can see a lot of my eye.Very nice office staff also. The appointment I had with the Dr that took my insurance had me waiting Forever. My time is valuable and I will need to go back to Family Eye. Please expand your insurance options 😁

Dr. Joseph and his staff are very personable, knowledgeable, and considerate, leading to a wonderfully pleasant first experience at this office. Dr. Joseph took his time with me through each step of the process; and with the assistance of the advanced technology in his office, we realized my prior glasses had a higher number for astigmatism for my left eye, when I actually didn’t need it. They also bypass the eye pressure “puff” thing, which is always a plus in my book lolAubrey and Sonia were so patient with me and an absolute pleasure to work with. Sonia took her time with me to find the perfect frames for my face shape and budget. Aubrey walked me through each step of the process, from the time I booked my appointment by phone, to the end of my eye doctor visit.All in all, I highly recommend coming to Family Eye Health Solutions for the eye care needs of you and your loved ones!

One thing to note is that if you wish not to have your eyes dilated it is a $35 fee for optomap, but this is standard practice for most offices/insurance. I had by far the best experience at this office. After calling several other offices looking for a specific brand of glasses for my 2 year-old, Dr. Joseph happened to pick up when I called because his receptionist had stepped away. He could have asked me to call back but instead really took the time to help me find what I was looking for. The office is very nice and the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I have been going to Vision Source in Missouri for the last 10 years more or less because of the proximity to my house and I have been content to say the least of the bedside manner of the doctor.Finally last year I could not take it anymore because my 13 yo son commented on the arrogance of this female doctor.So off I went reviewing all the optometrist within my 10 to 20 minutes away from my residence and THANK GOD I was persistent in my research because I found a 5 star doctor literally ( he has a 5 star rating in 100 + reviews) and figuratively.From the moment I stepped in to the clean office to the friendly office person Chancey who took care of me right away all the way to Dr. Jimmy Joseph who came in the door with such a warm and down to earth personality. He did the exam with precision and explained each step of the way He conversed with me like I am his only patient unhurried and took the time to listen to my every concern.Dr. Joseph diagnosed my eye issue that I have been discussing with my former eye doc from Vision Source right away. VS doc was just ordering expensive eye drops one after the other and did not diagnose it properly.Anyone looking for an eye doctor for the whole family, I am giving him my 100% vote of confidence along with his other patients that you will not be disappointed. Much Much better than Todays Vision in Sienna. Their office staff is very courteous and helpful. They do not waste your time. Most importantly, Dr.Joseph is himself phenomenal. He is obviously intelligent yet down to earth. He is easy to talk to and has a humble disposition. He went out of his way to get my husbands glasses to him, before enjoying our anniversary weekend. I recently visited Family Eye Health Solutions for the first time and from the moment I walked in the staff was exceptional and very helpful. Dr. Joseph was very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. My previous prescription was incorrect from another eye clinic. He corrected it and went above and beyond even got me some coupons. They have a good selection of glasses that are definitely affordable. When picking up my glasses I informed them I would be a little later than their closing time and they stayed open for me and were very considerate and professional about it. Dr. Joseph and his staff are “Platinum.” I received prompt, thorough, and very attentive professional service of the highest quality. Dr. Joseph used the latest technology to check my eyes (no dilating of the eyes was necessary), which I greatly appreciated. I am diabetic, and Dr. Joseph took great care with my eye exam, and thoroughly explained the condition of my eyes and what the screen revealed. He was very concerned about my eye health, and stressed the importance of diabetes management as impacts my eye health. He assured me that my new glasses would help me to see much better, and they certainly have and are. My new glasses arrived in 6, rather than the expected 7-10 days, and I’m Extremely Happy.
