Nice place to brunch in Cluj! All of their dishes have amazing combinations of flavours, it’s really hard to choose one!My recommendation is to try them all :)The staff is very friendly and kind too, we came very late last time and even though they were about to close they found a table for us and served us happily.They also have great coffee and juices!

Perfect spot for brunch.The place is small, so during the morning it can get quite full, having to wait outside until a table becomes available. However, the food is great, everything in the menu is based on eggs, food and deserts. It is a bit pricy, but the service is nice and you get complementary water at the table.

I ve tried several breakfast restaurants in many countries but the simplicity of the place, the service, and of course the food make it by far the best I have ever tried.Keep up the good work! Really amazing!

Cozy place, simply and nicely decorated. The waiters are very friendly and open. The service was quite fast and the food was good.Got the dish with their name on it. They give you a choice between poached or scrambled eggs and bacon or mushrooms. They have plenty of vegetarian options.A had a Latte with this and the coffee choice was good and the milk was nicely done. They also serve you with water for free. Overall a great experience.Just pay attention when you go as they have a short schedule time around noon.

Really really delicious breakfast. However my bread was stale and it was impossible to cut through, hence the -1 star. But overall great presentation and ready, and freshness of other ingredients.

Excellent breakfast food with excellent coffee, roasted by Origo! The atmosphere is cozy, the big table is making you to socialize with the others next to you, which is a great experience! The staff was helpful, the food came very fast, with no wait. I highly recommend it!

Nice place with great dishes, little bit more expensive but still worth the money. It can be busy, we had to wait about 15 min outside to get a table, but it is worth waiting.

Best brunch in town and one of the best coffees in my opinion. I go there super often and Ive never had any problems. The staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. The food is varied and soooo freaking good. Also, the service is very quick and good. They have brunch all day long so you dont necessarily have to go there in the morning. If youre visiting Cluj this is a must! Would 10/10 recommend!

Eggcetera is an interesting place where to enjoy your breakfast. They have a huge table so the guests can eat next to other unknown guests. It’s like a big family breakfast. The menu is out of regular, unfortunately not after my taste. The service is very kind and helpful.

Great place and great people. They prioritize quality in all, including service. The food is great and considering the place is themed on eggs, they still have better diversity than expected. Also there is free water you can drink which is a plus. For everyone with a sweet tooth I honestly recommend sweet eggo. Its delicious.

Eggcetera take brunch to a new level. It’s been a while since a location left such a positive expression. The staff where gold, the food and service where consistent and incredible. Everything about this location has been thought out, including the small tastings pre food. After brunchIng here for all 3 days of my trip to cluj I do miss it :) each time the food was delivered quickly even though they are consistently full. There are no reservations so best get there early before any queues :)

One of the best breakfast / brunch restaurants Ive eaten at in the whole of Romania. Yeah, its that good! Food is tasty (just look at those photos, seriously 🤤), staff is super friendly and the portions are good vs the money paid. Just keep in mind: it might be a bit crowdy (so you could wait your turn at the door in peak season) and also the coffee is of the sour variety - very good and tasty but the blend is soury (no doubt about it). If you dont like that, just get a coffee from Meron. The rest of the place is lovely and deserves all the praise. Also, do order the Sweet Eggo desert. Its an experience worth your time!

Breakfast / brunch food all day - what else could you wish for 😁 they have a big socializing table to encourage you to feel youre family - laptops are not allowed here - so beware if you plan to go there and get some work done, spot a small table. Breakfast/brunch here is a good option! The food is amazing. The service is also great, very helpul and nice people.My only problem is the space. We went there on a sunday, so a lot of people wanted to go in. When we arrived there were a few people waiting for a spot already and we were told it might take up to 15min to be able to sit down at the table. Luckily it was much faster than that. But inside there are only 3 or 4 small tables fot for 2-3 people and a really big table at which we were also sat. This means you sit next to and across from people you dont know, elbows touching and all; and also if you are with two people or more it gets difficult to comunicate among eachother.So i really really hope they can also find a slightly bigger space, because they have something good going on here.When i go back to cluj i am going to eat here again. Thats for sure

Quick and friendly service, good coffee, and totally adequate food at reasonable prices. Also, they let us sit inside with our tiny dogs. Id go back!The communal table isnt super comfortable to sit at, but maybe thats intentional to cycle people through? Service is quick, so its not really an issue.

Delicious. Recommend the French toast. Latte art is spot on. Nice space which allows for interaction with other patrons fairly easily (which was good as I was on my own). A big eater will rack up a bug bill but thats something youd be used to anyway. Nice staff and service.

This was originally meant to be a bad review because they forgot about our order and we were kept waiting for nothing. The review isnt bad because once the staff was made aware of their error and went above and beyond for us to leave the place fed and happy. Once we got the food, it was great. Id rather prefer an English muffin to the homemade bread since the bread is a bit hard to cut. The French toast is absolutely delicious

Went there for breakfast with a friend. I like that the water refills are free so that is one huge plus. I had the Huevos Rojos and it was magic. Ill tell you that the pickled onions are the star of this one. The place is quite cozy and the staff is really nice. Will visit again!

Eggcetera was a revelation. We were lucky to find a place and we were gratified with a great atmosphere, relly cool staff and most of all... food and coffee. I tried Huevos Rojos (funny name, eh?) and all was very well cooked, delicious and yes, pleasing to the eyes too. Do yourselves a favor and go there is if vistit Cluj. If you are a resident... what are you flippin waiting for??

Eggcetera is a fantastic place to have either breakfast or a brunch and very likely the best place you can find in Cluj.The menu is varied and interesting and produced with lots of love. The quality of the dishes are superb.We still have to try many items on the menu but there is something for everyone (sweet breakfasts or more salty).Excellent outstanding coffee and a very charming and attentive stuff. Start the day with a boost of vitamins next to your coffee with one of their homemade juices.The service is always spot on, everyone smiles and make you feel very welcome. Bright, simple yet super tasty interior.Be aware that it gets very busy at weekends because its so good. You may find yourself waiting in a queue for a table for a couple of minutes. But it totally worth it!See you next Sunday!
