Worst service and they lied about the repair.... ended up going to different tire place and they showed me the nail in the tire still in there! Called beforehand to make sure they can repair a tire. Told me come in at 9:30am. Then the mechanic supposedly wasnt there and told me to come back in an hour. After he finally took in my car, he claimed a nail was removed and my tire was repaired.... but it lost air again later that day even worse/faster than before! They closed early that Saturday so he told me to come back at 7:30am on Monday. When I did they were closed! Got it fixed elsewhere. Never again.

Manager Salman is great! My girlfriends battery died while she was grocery shopping. Salman went out and replaced the battery with a great attitude. A few weeks later, she had a nail in her tire and he replaced at a very reasonable price. So happy to see there are still a few good mechanics out there.

I jump and misjudged this car x location. They called me and got my car repaired correctly and very affordable . I am very happy with them after all. Salmond was great to work with and got my car repaired. I give them a 10.This is Allen Cohen review earlier

Great service. Just had breaks done on my car. Salman, the owner, gave me a ride home while the car was being worked on and picked me up when the work was completed. Did not have to wait for the service. I have been going to this shop for years. Very trustworthy with reasonable price.

I dont recommend this site, at least not this one. I have specific and clear reason to distrust the owner and one of the employees.

This place use to be very honest, but not any longer. I had my car towed into his shop and was told it was a radiator hose and some coolant issue. I was told it wood be $500.00 because it was a 12 hour job. I went by his lot that same day about 6 hour after I spoke to him and the car was so called complete. I went to pay him and the total was over $900.00 for less then 6 hour of repairs. I was told he replaced my starter in addition to the Coolant issue with out confirming the additional work with me. Then I drove the car after paying him $526.00 and refusing to pay for the starter that was not needed and not authorized by me. The engine light was still flashing on my dash, the same reason I had the car towed to him after adding coolant to the car both times. He told me dont worry the light will go off after driving it for a few hours because water must of got into the pistons and it needs to dry out. The next day the engine light was still flashing, so I took it back to see the owner Salmone again and was told there is no problem and it is safe to drive. I drove out to Rockford IL and the car started to loose power and the engine light was still on, I stopped and pulled into a gas station and shut off the car putting more coolant into the car that was empty. I called the owner of car x when the car would not restart and was told let the car cool down and it will restate in 30 minutes, which it did not. I called Salmone back and was told he would pay the $268.00 for towing the car back to his shop. My car has been sitting in his lot for the last two weeks and everyday he tells me it will be complete that night. The car has not moved from where the tow truck dropped it two weeks ago. This owner tells me everyday when I call him, that he will call me back and never does. He is now telling me it might need a head gasket or a new engine. This Car X is a total nightmare and they dont know what they are doing. They might be ok for small repairs but not all. When I called the corporate for Car-X at first the did not call back for days,then they called me back and once again did not call back when they said they would. Stay away from all Car X shops . They are total liars and crooks. District Manager did not call back, customer service did not call back and Solmone did not call back.

The owner is very friendly, reasonable & reliable.He is very cautious of his reputation & is therefore committed to work to retain it, he may not be the cheapest fix available but is a reliable one for sure.He is concerned about his customers safety & is ready to go quite an extent to help them out: -1. One of his customer was scheduled to drive out of state in the evening & needed new tires, the owner of car-x drove near about 35 miles and back to get the new tires the customer needed which were unavailable near by.2. I myself was stranded the day I had to leave my car for fixing at his shop, so he drove me nearly 10 miles to my work.For sure I will recommend him to others.

Great honest mechanics. There have been a couple time I was sent the the dealership for specific things but on 3 occasions they were able to fix my car and save me hundreds of dollars. Salman is my go to Guy.

Bad customer service experience. 1. Did not respond (accept or reject) to online appointment request. 2. When I drove to the shop, mechanic asks me to wait for 30 min (which would have been totally Ok, if things ahead didnt happen ). 3. After 30 min, owner then again asks me to wait again w/o ETA. After 45 min of more waiting, earlier mechanic comes out and asks me to go since they dont have time. ZERO sense of accountability or responsibility of customer service. Ended up wasting 1.5 hours and no one even looked at my car. Not recommended based on my experience!

I do not recommend this place at !! I took my car in for an oil change and in the process of getting the oil change, my truck fell from the rack. Major damages were on the truck. Salman took the truck to a repair shop and they did a very bad job. Salman even noticed how bad of a job they did. He said he would take it to another repair shop or pay me the money to get it fixed and its almost been a year and he still hasnt done either or. now we are fighting this case in court because he doesnt want to pay. This business doesnt even have insurance. When this incident happened, he gave the police officer his own car insurance, not the businesses. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND ARE BIG LIARS

They waited a very long time for someone to come out to us, then they refused to put the wheel they brought with them
